Mile Hybrid has both done routine maintenance and extensive work on multiple vehicles for me over many years and they are the only ones I trust with my car. They are extremely reliable, reasonably priced, and give honest advice. They replaced my high voltage battery with salvage parts at half the price and double the warranty offered by the dealership. Years later when my catalytic converter was stolen they were able to replace it very quickly as well as install a guard, and helped with me with my insurance claim by communicating promptly and provided pictures for my insurance company. Eric (the owner), Leah and formerly Gary (the service advisors), and all of the mechanics there are exemplary in their customer service and quality of work. Cant recommend them enough!

My review is prefaced with the statement that as long as my car holds up moving forward, I’ll use them again for any hybrid issues. It was here or the dealership (who said it would cost $169 just to look at the car). I had an issue with my Hyundai force stopping one day and my mechanic didn’t have the tools to fix what he assumed was a hybrid system issue. There are no other hybrid mechanics around, but they came highly recommended. However I was mainly seeing Prius and battery issues, and I wasn’t sure if they could handle my issue. They did! It was fairly priced, and if it solves my issue, I’m happy. However, they are very far away from me (not their issue, mine) and I do agree with other reviews that their timeliness can be an issue. I had read the reviews about this, so I was quick to contact them myself and ensure they were working on my car. To be honest, I think that’s important for you to do as a customer. I did get the sense more than once that my car had been forgotten about. Again though, just be aware of that, don’t avoid them because of it, because if they fix it well, fix it cheap, and the other option is the dealership, then I stand by my ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ review!

Bought my 2010 Prius. On the way home, my high temp gauge light comes on. Then my engine light! I get back just in the nick of time to discover coolants leaking under the car. In hindsight I should have pulled over immediately when the temp light came on, and next time I will, but it was a brand new car to me and Im used to warning lights coming on in my old car. Anyways I lucked out and made it home.It was 10pm so nothing was open and I had to try sleep knowing I may have just thrown away 6 grand on a lemon Prius. Around 2am, after reading endless horror stories on Google about 2010 Prius coolant leaks, I finally fall asleep.The next morning Im searching for a mechanic and find Mile Hybrid, and after reading tons of good reviews I give the dreaded call. I explained everything, just bought the car, private sale, and the news didnt sound good. I was told I could fill up my coolant reservoir and try bring it in if I thought it could drive and was told to pull over IMMEDIATELY!!! haha if the high temp light comes on. Half way to the shop, (coming from Broomfield) the high temp gauge turns on and I can smell burning. I pull over and like a dummy I almost blow my hand off opening the coolant cap. I give it a minute, refill the reservoir and now the car wont stay on. Starts, shuts off, starts, shuts off. Im about to freak out. I call and MHA sends out a tow truck for me.So after I finally arrive at the shop Im preparing for bad news. All the things I read about the night before are running through my mind, blown head gaskets, engines replacement, did I just throw away 6 grand. Well the wait was short. In 10 minutes the problem was diagnosed. A bad water pump.I almost started crying because I was at my breaking point. The money I spent on that car took me over a year to save. I literally drove halfway across the country to buy this car (Minnesota cars are rusty). If I had to replace the head gaskets or engine, I would have had to spend as much as I did for the car itself! Pretty much all my savingsI wanna say Im so thankful to have found theseknowledgeable group of guys who were not only honest, but cared so much about a total stranger.I wrote a long review because I really want everyone to know that if youre having a problem with a hybrid vehicle, you can call these guys and be confident that not only are they professionals at what they do, but they also have YOUR best interest at heart. Ive been taking my 2008 Prius here since I arrived in Denver in 2015. Its now closing in on 400,000 miles and shows no sign of slowing down. Mile Hybrid keeps my car on the road. This repair shop is like none other. Unlike Toyota dealers, theyve never try to up-sell me on more service than I came in for. They are forthright, honest and transparent. B/c they only work on hybrids, they diagnose the problem quickly...usually in a matter of minutes. When it comes to complex hybrid cars, theyve already seen everything before and know exactly what the best fix will be and why. I wouldnt consider taking my Prius to anyone but Mile Hybrid. Affordable, too.

Excellent customer service and they offer tons of help and detailed information if you ask. I came here to get a Prius battery checked prior to purchasing it about a year ago. Gary was super helpful and offered tons of advice and useful information to help us when purchasing the car. I even called in and ask for advice when finding other options and asked about pricing and he helped out of pure goodwill. Earlier this week, my girlfriend’s catalytic converter was stolen. I called Mile Hybrid and Leah was super helpful. Even though they ran out of catalytic converters (like almost everyone has), she offered a recommendation and the other shop had one in stock! It made the difference of having our car back in 2 days rather than 2 months. Everyone here has been awesome and have gone out of there way to help even when they don’t directly benefit. I cant say enough good things about Mile Hybrid Automotive. My car broke down on the way to work but the issue was intermittent. They worked the problem and got me back on the road. They also replaced my passenger window which had been broken by a thief.They are super nice and it shows that they care. As far as I know, they are they only true hybrid shop in Denver. Also, they dont try to gouge the customer with unnecessary repairs. I was pleasantly surprised at the cost of my repairs and will continue to use them for all of my repairs and services.Since the previous post I have used Mile Hybrid to fix an issue with my hybrid systemA different shop (the toy doctor) wanted to charge me $3500 for a new hybrid battery. Mile Hybrid figured out that it was corrosion I the wiring to the battery. Thanks so much to Byron, he saved me $3000 because he found the real problem.If you have a hybrid, dont waste your time somewhere else!

This was absolutely the best automotive customer service experience. I got the “check hybrid system” light and prius wouldn’t run. They got it up and going in 15 mins. Before my mpg was around 37, now my mpg is up around 48. Staff, they were super professional and polite. The staff could of charged me a lot $$$, but it was very reasonable.

I didnt personally have my car serviced here but I went with a friend to pick up their prius. She had her catalytic converter stolen and it was difficult working with insurance on coverage. But Leah just made the whole process so easy, she was super helpful and made sure we were getting the best price, quality parts and service. Worked with my friends insurance and really streamlined the experience. Super pleasant. Cant wait to come here with future car problems!

This place is good if you want refurnished Prius hybrid battery but when you comes to beyond the battery maintenance they’ll never do nothing for you don’t waste your time . This is one of those few places that I would love to be able to give six stars. If you have anything at all in terms of issues with your hybrid vehicle, then these are the only people to go to. Although theyve moved to their new location and are even better set up to help folks. They can chase down parts, they can do practically anything necessary to keep you going, and theyre completely supportive and professional. Mile Hybrid Auto was very quick and totally transparent about fixing the battery on my 2007 Prius that would not start. I expected the whole process to take a few days but my car was back to normal in just a few hours with no hassle. I will definitely go to them again if I have any other problems with my car.

EDIT: My head gasket failed and the team at MH saved my butt again. They even patched, filled, and replaced my tire when they noticed my spare was on (because what pairs better with a failing engine than a flat tire too). Tired of being messed around with at other repair places I went to a recommended place (literally had a mechanic pull me aside at another shop and say “don’t come here go to mile hybrid”). I remembered that I told my boyfriend to limp it to your shop. I sent a Facebook message and got a response so quick! Instructed me with where to leave my keys and such. They called me the next morning and gave me my options including a remanufactured hybrid battery. They had my car done and road ready in under 24 hours from dropping it off. And I never even needed to go to the store myself! Everything was handled over the phone and now my car is working fine again. Thank you guys for making this so quick, easy, and affordable.

Mile Hybrid may be Denvers best kept automotive secret. They have a customer for life in me (or at least as long as Im in Denver). They fixed my battery way cheaper than other garages because they build their own. When they needed a little more time than expected, they also did a free check on all my systems and fluids and a quick cosmetic fix that I needed, all free. (Another dealer had quoted $450 for that cosmetic issue!!)A few months later I ended up getting some warning lights again even though the car was running great. Took it in, and they just swapped out the battery while I waited, for free (they offer a warranty, no questions asked), no problem at all! Super nice guys too.Its rare that you find a car repair place that is genuinely trustworthy and with great customer service. While I waited I heard them give great advice on car purchases to other customers, they did free diagnostics, showed people easy fixes for any issues they might come across, explained potential warning signs, and so on. Im beyond impressed.If you have any issues with a hybrid car in Colorado, this is the place to go, no doubt about it.

I took my daughters 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid to Eric and his team because it wouldnt go into the Hybrid mode at idle or any speed under 45 mph. which it normally would. They were just great and got the car right in without an appointment, ran some diagnostic tests and within 45 minutes I test drove the car with the technician and it was fixed and is now running just fine. As a bonus the charges for the diagnosis and repair were very reasonable. I will tell anyone I encounter having issues with their hybrid to take it to Milehybrid. Eric and his team are just great.

I never write online reviews, but I will make an exception for Mile Hybrid Automotive, because they are absolutely amazing! After an accident, they repaired my car and returned it to me in better condition than before the accident. The staff was extremely helpful walking me through the entire process and very understanding and patient while I was dealing with the insurance company. My car was ready faster than I ever could have expected! I highly recommend Mile Hybrid Automotive!

I walked in off the street with my 2007 Prius needing a bulb inserted in the passenger side headlight. I had done it myself but didnt attach the clip properly - so the clip sprang out and was lost and the expensive bulb broke. They didnt bat an eyelid at my having the parts with me and within 40 minutes I was on my way - one very staisfied customer. Spotless waiting room and nice people too. Ill be back.

It is a great place. People are caring and flexible. Prices are comparable to the market but service is outstanding. At first it might not seem much when you walk-in into the building, but keep in mind that they have mostly guys working in there. These people are amazing. I was having troubles with my Prius. I took it to Mile Hybrid Automotive because I read so many reviews that said how awesome this place was. While I did have to bring the Prius in a couple different times for the same reason, this place was amazing every time. Theyre very personable and genuine. After the first couple attempts at fixing the elusive issue I called them up again to find out that they warranty their work. They picked up the car from my work, kept it for a couple extra days to get to the bottom of the issue AND made sure the issue didnt rare up again. Afterwords they brought the car back to me and didnt charge me, because as they said, they warranty their work. If you need work done on a hybrid, I would highly recommend these guys. Ive never had better service from and automotive shop before. Thank you guys!!

I had hopeful expectations after reading all these great reviews. Sadly, I cant share the same sentiment. Called and booked apt for a 120,000 mile service, which was noted by Gary via phone call. Took car in at 8 am, again said I wanted a 120,000 mile service and my headlight checked. That was entered into a computer. Called around 2:30 about status of car. Gary didnt know. He called me back, told me all I needed was a headlight. I said and the the 120,000 service? Silence. a pause. Then oh yeah...itll be ready by 5:00. Then almost immediately get a text, saying that if I want that service, car will need to be kept overnight. It takes two days to do that service? Bottom line--somebody forgot, didnt want to own up to it, and not handled well by Gary. Wont be going back. Just make sure they know what you need done. Confirm it. A lot of times.

Can’t recommend these guys enough. If you’ve got a hybrid of any sort, or a Toyota, this is the shop you should be using. They specialize in hybrids and started out just doing battery refurbishing but now do all types of service.Super friendly and knowledgeable staff with a ton of experience in the automotive industry.We took my wife’s 2013 Highlander Hybrid here recently when she was getting pretty random no-starts in the late fall. We’d had same issue last year after Xmas when car sat for a week, and it was super cold. I fixed it that time by removing battery cables and cleaning the connections.So we knew it was probably a bad battery, and sure enough when they tested it it was junk. They replaced the weird AGM battery for half the price the Toyota dealer quoted. They also did an oil change for like $18, although I did supply the filter and Mobil 1.Almost forgot, they also scanned my old dodge pickup for me recently, so go there, support local businesses who are actually giving their customers good service and value.

We were on a cross country road trip to Rocky Mountain National Park and our Prius broke down near Denver on our way home. We called several different mechanics before Mile Hybrid that were closer to where we broke down and none of them could even look at our car for almost a week! Gary at MH assured us they could look at our car as soon as we brought it in and got us repaired within two hours, for a reasonable price. Eric - the owner, who worked on our car clearly explained what was wrong and what our options were. All in all we couldn’t be happier with our experience with Mile Hybrid!

I’ve been exclusively using Mile High for everything when it comes to auto repair including multiple break jobs, electrical issues, timing belt replacement and a steering wheel replacement. I live up in Boulder and still make a point to only use Mile High as my automotive repair shop. I highly recommended their services.

They are only good for oil changes and basic stuff,They kept my car for 3 days to do a failed diagnosis, i took the car to the dealer, they found the problem in a couple hours!

I recently had Gary and his crew swap a used engine into my 2010 Toyota Prius after I had a head gasket failure. Not only was their price about $1k under what two other shops quoted me, but they took delivery on Friday and had my car back to me on Weds of the next week with an outstanding warranty. Most simple jobs on cars I can do, but if I ever have another major issue with a hybrid, I wont go anywhere else.

Went today after reading all these awesome reviews and was very impressed, so let me add one more 5 star review. You def know youre there based of the number of Prius in the parking lot. I asked for 3 services today. I originally went in to have my AC recharged after I had replaced the condenser due to rock chips and didnt want to mess with the AC myself since our AC compressors are a bit tricky to do. I also asked them to give the car a simple inspection to look for issues as well as run a diagnostic to help figure out an issue I was having with the radiator fans. He ran that and explained it thoroughly. Im pretty proficient with the mechanics of this car but it was nice to hear more specifics about the issues. He also showed me the charts of the diagnostic. They were awesome and actually really fast. Also they have a mostly Prius salvage yard back there so if you need some body work or something they can probably sell it to you for way under other shops prices. I will def go here again when my car needs something. Lastly, they didnt charge me for the inspections.. Very happy with their service and highly recommend them to anyone who needs hybrid service.

Love this place! Ive taken my Prius in every time it needs something more than just an oil change. Last time we were in, I was having an AC issue that nobody in town could seem to resolve, including a big name AC shop. Took my car to Mile Hybrid and they solved the problem for 1K less than any other estimate I had. Its great that they have so many scrap hybrids right on site because they can usually grab you a used part for much less than you would pay for a new one.

Really disappointed. Had a great first experience with excellent service and price only to return for a horrible second service. Dropped my car off at 11AM for an oil change and scheduled a 4PM pick-up. I then returned at 4PM only to find out my car hadnt been serviced and no one even called. Im now left with a car that still needs an oil change and am additionally out 2 hours of work and $40 in Lyft rides. Thought I had finally found an honest, reliable auto shop, but nope-the search continues.

Called them today with an issue I was having after changing the head gasket on my 2013 Prius V myself. I figured I would get blown off like the dealer did. Quite the opposite ... They were super helpful and Brian knows his stuff ... after telling him the symptoms, and verifying the timing was correct, he says It sounds like you forgot to connect the hose behind the intake . WOW !!! I would have been pulling it apart and working on if for a very frustrating week and probably still not seen that ... he was absolutely correct. Put it all back together and it started right up and stayed running .I do a lot of my own work, just because I cant afford a shop to do it. But, when I do need work I cant do, or parts, I will definitely be coming to them.Just the 5 minutes they spent helping me on the phone, made a world of difference to me .. thank you.

They do not even deserve one star review, DO NOT take your car over there at all, Worst customer service I have ever seen, They broke my car but they didnt accept and take responsibility for it and they want to charge me double to fix it, No communication and holding the car over the month and telling me to take my car or pay storage fee !! They are not reliable trustable and knowledgeable. This is the most RIPPED OFF place to fix the car and I dont recommend anyone go there.

Worst customer service ever! I had an appointment to get my car’s MFD fixed, so I arrived on time. After I waited almost one hour, they installed a non-working old display and told me that they don’t have the right part. So, I was told told to come back after two days. I came back two day’s later and they told me that they didn’t not order the part yet and I should come back after two days. I was upset, so I ask why they keep wasting my time. He told me that he will throw me out of the door if I talk to him like that. The way he talk to me was unprofessional and disrespectful. I would not expect this kind of behavior from a customer service agent. BTW the only reason I went there is because they are cheaper than Toyota dealers. I would never take my car there again. I rather pay more and take it to Toyota dealers.Response to the comment belowYou should have ordered the right part before my first appointment and install it in the first place. I was able to control the air conditioner before you install that dusty old MFD. I made an appointment and you installed a non-working old MFD and you want to charge me for that? If you didn’t plan to install and charge me for that old MFD, how come you didn’t order the right part ahead of my appointment? Also, this is about you threatening to throw me out of the door when in fact all I did was ask you why you wasted my time.

I have owned 5 toyota Prius and have brought all of the to Mile Hybrid for years. They really know their stuff on hybrids. They have always been honest and fair. They have connections to source new and used parts. They are also a dealer so if you are looking for a Hybrid you can just let them know and they will track one down and check it over to make sure everything is working great. Most dealers do not know much about the batteries and hybrid systems which can cost a lot to repair and replace. These guys are great!

Ive brought my 07 Prius here twice so far and will continue to as long as I own a hybrid. Eric, the owner, and Gary, a service advisor there, both have been great to communicate with as well as show strong integrity. Prices are reasonable and they do exceptional work.Added bonuses: open on Saturdays; depending on how busy they are, they sometimes can drive you elsewhere(such as home); theres a hybrid salvage yard next door to them, so they can often provide you with replacement parts immediately and less expensive than retail.Whether you live in the area or are just passing through, this is THE PLACE to bring your hybrid to.Great suggestion: if youre not local or cant make an appointment to get your hybrid in, call the shop and ask if they can refer you to other reputable hybrid shops where you live. They might know of a trustworthy alternative.

Great experience with them fixing my Prius

Honest folk that take good care of my Prius.Jan 2020 update, now my dad brings his Prius here. I really cant recommend these folk enough. Today I called to schedule an oil change and ask about a noise. I was told quite reasonably that Id need to schedule the oil change out a week but swing by to get the noise listened to.Find out the noise was a piece of plastic, but since the car was already lifted, do I want to do the oil change. Wow, Mile Hybrid continues to take the best care of me and mine.

Reading the other reviews, I was also encouraged to give them a chance at repairing my 09 FEH.On the road again, with the drive home 100+ miles, over three passes, these folks are on it. My car is flawless.Mike, and Gary, upfront, are as nice as they could be. The techs also apparently know what the heck is going on.Pleased to see only a few FEH in the parking lot, I feel sorry for all the prius owners.Happy hybrid day! Since this date is otherwise unclaimed, I am declaring a happy hybrid day! September 25, for eternity.Thank goodness for the speciality of Mile Hybrid!

Just got work done on our Prius and had good service up until picking the car up. Unauthorized work was done on the car, which we went ahead and paid for anyways, but once we drove away we noticed a $200 tent was missing out of the back of the car. When we went back to get the tent, Gary refused to talk to us at all or help in any way. When the police arrived he drove away right when the police got there. Whether or not they stole the tent, we do not know. But the car was left in their care and was unlocked when we pulled up, which would be a case of negligence. I am very disappointed with how it was handled at the end and would not recommend that anyone go there.

My prius broke down in Morrison and I was stranded--wife out of town, no functional car, and 1 child. Mile Hybrid helped me with all the logistics, repaired the car (and some additinoal things that were not working), and dropped it off at my house. fantastic service!

Excellent Service, High Level of Expertise, Great ValueYou probably have a sad tale to tell after your IMA light came on and the Honda dealer pronounced your beloved Insight DOA (unless, of course, you wanted to fork over nearly $4K) - especially if you had a factory re-built POS that craped out early. These guys are the alternative to an untimely interment! They can give you an out-the-door price immediately (and it actually sticks). They promised a good product that would be even zippier than the factory original - and that was apparent within the first half mile. I cant speak to the long term, but Im pretty happy now!

This company is excellent. I have taken my 2007 prius hybrid to have some pretty expensive work preformed twice now, both times I have been extremely satisfied with the service done to my vehicle and the honest and straight forward customer service I recieved from everyone Ive interacted with. Recently my oxygen senor malfunctioned causing my master warning light to come on. I had it towed to the dealership I had purchased it from (a little over a year ago) because I had bought a two year $450 warrenty along with the car. My warrenty did not cover fuel sensors, I was quoted $700 to fix it on top of a $110 diagnostic fee. I called Mile Hybrid obviously upset and Gary had me bring in the car that day, quoted me $480 ($60 more than the seemingly worthless warrenty) for both the sensor and spark plug replacement, which he explained was most likely the cause of the malfunction. The work was done less than four hours later by technition Bryon. I will not take my car anywhere else again. Thank you guys so much, once again you have saved me literally hundreds of dollars and tons of stress and hassle!
