They don’t even deserve 1 star. This place used to be really good and prices were reasonable. I would go here for anything but now they’re horrible. The new girl always has an attitude and acts as if you’re bothering her if you need assistance. They increased prices on closures and frontal, also certain bundles that were at a reasonable price before. Who’s paying $100 for a closure for blended hair. LOL what a joke. All of their model model haute hair prices increased, why increase prices on hair if the quality is the same? Huge no! Not to mention their no return policy when some of their products are old and you cannot open them prior to purchase to make sure they’re good. They barely have good brands of hair. Everything’s synthetic. I’ll no longer do business here. If you’re in University or Concord and need a good beauty supply store Hope Beauty Supply on JW Clay Blvd is great. Reasonable prices, great customer service and has almost every brand of hair you could possibly think of. Hopefully these comments will help them retain customers instead of losing them.

The girl at the register last night was talking about customers. Very unprofessional and tacky! Now the other girls were polite and helpful. Probably won’t go back. They did seem to have a lot of inventory though….

This place is horrible!!! Dont come her for any products!! The Manger would not allow a exchange for a hot and hotter 3 barrel waver that doesnt work. She then plugs it in to see if it get hot and the says no exchange no where on the policy says no exchange on a flat iron or electric products.

Good products but employees are rude. Tried to exchange and item that I needed to exchange. They told me no because the item was final sale although equipment is not mentioned on the receipt as final sale and I literally purchased it two hours ago. If that was the case it needs to be mentioned in the receipt, I don’t like dishonest stores.

This store sells great products. the employees here are really rude though. each time i’ve had an issue with a product they come up with excuses for why they cannot help me, when i ask for help around the store or about products they act like they can’t help me out, they just don’t provide the assistance they should, especially considering they aren’t busy when i come.

At first when I came here, it was a nice store and had the basics that I needed. But lately, the employees are so rude that it makes me hate coming here. Ill go across town to tisun.

This company just stole $70 from me. I made a purchase took it out to the car and opened it up and it was not what I was expecting. I went directly back into the store without even leaving the premises and tried to return the item. They took the item but refused to refund my purchase. I have nothing to show for the $70 spent because they have the item and my money

Very short lived experience. They kicked me out of the store because I have a medical condition and cannot wear a mask. They are going against the ADA. It is against the law to kick someone out of a store due to a medical condition. The Chinese lady even called the police.

‼️PLEASE READ‼️WHATEVER YOU DO PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THIS ESTABLISHMENT YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY! THEY COULD CARE LESS ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS, PRODUCTS, or SERVICE! I received the absolute worst service here on 1/2/2018! I came into the establishment to purchase weave and hair glue for a quick weave. I only purchase human hair and quality products but I moved and am no longer close to any other beauty supply store other than Sally’s. I drove a good distance to come to this store! Service was decent at first until I realized they follow you around the store as if you are stealing. I am a hard working business woman and I came in with only one goal in mind and that was to obtain my hair, purchase it and go home and install it. I got home, pulled out the glue and noticed it wasn’t coming out. I took a fork and pulled out the old glue. I immediately called them and explained what happened and that the glue appeared to be old and expired. It also had a foul smell! The girl who answered didn’t seem apologetic in any way! She simply told me to come back with my receipt which I did. I got there and opened other glue bottles and they were ALL lumpy!!!! I then picked up another brand and it was perfect. The girl at the register explained that the glue that I was holding was .39 more! I said well I did just waste gas to come back over here, you can’t just let me have the one for 39 CENTS MORE! I also explained that on my first purchase I let her keep my change that they owed me so she can retrieve the 39 cents from there! She literally demanded that I give her 39 CENTS!!!! Not dollars! CENTS! Measly pennies!!!!!!! I reached in my bag, gave her 30 cents and left! There was more said but too much to type! Long story short, that was the WORST experience I’ve ever had! Absolutely embarrassing! The way that I was spoke to was unacceptable! I will make SURE people know that this establishment is run by disrespectful people that sell expired products!

The Asian Americans who own this establishment are very rude specifically the young lady. My experience there was short lived she never smiled, wasn’t very polite and helpful to other customers at all. My thoughts there are several other beauty supply stores with optimal customer service. I wouldn’t recommend this store.

Ive never had a problem going to this beauty supply store until last night. Why say the store is open until 8pm but lock the doors before then...so Annoying, not to mention the rude staff talking about they NEED to shut down the cash registers like they dont own the store and cant stay open a tad bit longer.They seem to have forgotten that without loyal customers like myself, they wouldnt even be open. Anyways, going a little further away from home is totally worth good customer service to me.

This is NOT a good beauty supply store. Many of their hair.products are out of date! You can tell that people probably dont buy a lot of their products in bottles because they are old and extremely dusty. Additionally, the two black girls in there are not very customer friendly.

I purchase braiding hair and needed to exchange it for a different type of hair that was more expensive. The packages of hair I wanted to exchange had never been opened or used. I was told because it was clearance I could not return or exchange it. I didnt know I had purchased hair that was on clearance it wasnt listed on the receipt and I wasnt told that after I checked out either. They are unwilling to work with you but I think that may be due to the fact that there was a communication barrier. So be sure to ask if your purchase is a clearance item if you shop there, save yourself a headache.

Bad customer service I ask for some extensions and the girl that was helping me out had the worse attitude. Won’t go again they should be more friendly

I’ve been going to this establishment for several years and for the most part the staff is very friendly, there’s just one girl there that always has a stank look on her face no matter what day or time of the week you come there. Maybe she has some personal problems or should just work in the back where she doesn’t have to interact with customers.

I visit here often, the male with the blonde hair is always rude and short tempered. My last visit one of the workers followed me from one end of the store to the other. Then stood right next to me as I looked. I told her multiple times I did not need any assistance. I was dressed in a professional manner and no reason to be followed. I will spend more of my money at TNT on Union cementary rd where I’m treated with some decency and respect. Not to mention I offered to leave my merchandise at the counter, the male said I was making it up in my head that she was following me. She peeped around corners and stood next to me. Everyone does not steal!

They also patronized customers when they came to the register because they didnt have on masks but didnt inform them that they had to wear one when walking in the door. Ive usually had great experiences here and I come to this store pretty often and spend a lot of money regularly. Its a shame they lost my business. Today the customer service was awful, very rude and short. Then they were speaking in their native language in front of me so I couldnt understand what was being said. They refused to exchange an unopened product I just purchased a few days ago with my receipt in hand and they point to an index card saying its our store policy that since your item was $1.00 off it was final sale. After explaining I was not aware of the discounted price let alone their tiny store policy displayed on an index card she says to me I should have asked about it then and there is nothing she can do now. I would think since I was spending more money today and explaining to them my oversight they would be more courteous and offer the 1 time exchange but instead they were rude and short and disrespectful with talking about the situation to one another in a language I cant understand. I will never return and I hope they treat all there other customers with more decency and respect than what was shown to me.

I am sad to say that this is the last time I will shop here. I had great experiences here until recently. The young lady in the store whom I believe was the manager or owner refused to allow me to buy items under their instore credit because I could not produce this very tiny slip of paper that was given for the credit. I still had my receipt showing that I did return the items but could not find the separate of piece of paper. She stated that there was nothing she could do (reapeatedlty) after I asked if there was a record or something she could look up to prove I purshased $38.00 worth of hair. I explained that i am losing out on a lot of money. Nothing on the receipt said hold on to this or you will not get to purshase on credit. When I asked her if it was like that why did she not staple it to my receipt? She lied and said she did. There are no staple marks on my receipt and it would not been lost if she had. She started talking to her worker in her language while I am standing there. I interrupter her and asked to speak to a manager or the owner. She stated she did not have one. She stood there saying in a sarcastic tone there is nothing I can do. She went onto to imply that I lost it and how does she know that someone else did not use it. I told her no one did that. I am very disappointed and did not appriciate the lack of respect. They should have a better way to keep track of store credit. I never had to use store credit before. I definitely will if I need to again. Not here.
