I’m a little late posting my review but I didn’t want to neglect complimenting the staff at Direct Auto! We purchased a Subaru Ascent in May of this year. I was nervous about not buying from a big box dealership as that’s how my family has always purchased cars. But I am so pleased we decided to buy from Direct Auto. The process was easy. Everyone was so kind and I really felt like they were giving us a good deal. They weren’t trying to nickel and dime us. Plus when I traded in my old car I had to wait for a new title to come in the mail through the state of TN. We have a toddler, I stay at home, and of course the day I was supposed to take them my title I got a flat tire. I called and told them I wasn’t able to come. The owner offered to come by my house to pick up the title. Not only did he pick up my title but took my flat tire to Gateway to get it patched. As a stay at home mom I was so grateful he went out of his way to help! You won’t get that kind of consideration from most car dealerships. I can’t recommend this place more. We love our Subaru!

Our truck broke down while pulling our camper on a family vacation. Anthony & Charles were so friendly and helpful! Luckily they had the perfect truck we needed! They made it easy to trade in our old one, and gave us an amazing deal on the new one! Thanks to these great guys, our family gets to finish our vacation...safely, and in comfort and style!

We did not end up agreeing on the price, but I was quite impressed with how pleasant Anthony was to deal with and his manager/ owner. All three of them were very respectful, nice and courteous.

This is the best used car dealership in and around the Nashville area and Clarkesville. Just bought a used Tesla Model S from these guys and it was a great hassle free experience. Seems like they find nice clean well kept cars. They we’re very responsive to all of my calls and text messages. I am looking forward to buying more cars from this place.

Direct Auto is a down to earth dealership with down to earth employees.Joey Phillips sold us a 2014 Toyota Camry. There was no hassle of buying. Joey was very helpful in informing us on how the process of car buying would be and how much of a loan we would be able to get. Direct Auto in Tennessee LLC is a great place to go if you’re like me and have no idea what you’re doing. They will walk you through the process. I can’t say enough good things. They made us feel stress free of buying a car. I will be back and I recommend if you are looking for a car to go to them.

Great set of guys over Direct Auto purchased a Audi S6 from them threw a fault code on the test drive told them about it they said it would be taken care of, also documented in the sales contract. A trip to AUDI Nashville and 3500 dollars later at no expense of mine issue resolved. Buy with confidence they stand by there word!

Unprofessional is how I would sum up this company. I called about a vehicle that I was told they would hold until I arrived to purchase however that particular morning we were hit with a horrible hail storm that prevented me from arriving on time but I remained in contact with the sales team leading to my departure that was an almost 2 hour drive from my home and I was assured that would be okay and they would hold the car for me. About 5 mins approximately before my arrival to purchase the car I received a call from the sales manager telling me they had sold the car that I had just drove 2 hours to purchase. The word dishonest doesn’t even describe the way this place does business. I would avoid this dealership at all cost unless you enjoy being bent over and robbed. It’s insulting to me that I was burned of my time as well gas money it took to drive the distance to be told “oh yeah sorry about that”. The human thing that should have been done was a phone call to me while traveling to direct auto making sure that I was going to be arriving to buy as promised before selling it to some random walk in.

I emailed the dealer asking if a vehicle was still available. I quickly recieved an email from Kory Hamilton and responded with a few questions. Crickets. The next day I received a Where did you go? emailed; I responded. Crickets. Two days later, I received a Do you have any questions? email; I responded. Crickets. The next day I bought a vehicle somewhere else.

PLEASE BE WARNED: I purchased this White 2011 BMW for $10,900 cash, on September 21,2020 and the transmission light came on within having the vehicle under two weeks.... I spoke to Jesse, the owner of the car lot and he refused to try and help at all.... I saved my hard earned money to get my dream car and now I have to borrow money to get this BMW fixed.... all the cars are nice but you really don’t stand behind them.... so, disappointed in this place

This place has been amazing to work with. If you go ask for Anthony! After shopping around for used Tahoes at larger dealerships, we stumbled upon their website and found the Tahoe we’ve been looking for at a great price! Everything was as advertised online. Even the small Knick in the bumper had a photo online so I knew exactly what to expect! Anthony was incredible, no pressure and always available to ask questions to. Never any pressure or felt taken advantage of at any time like we have at larger dealerships! We’ll be back for our next car as well!

A good place to shop for a car or truck with a great price

We recently purchased a vehicle here. I must say that our experience from beginning to end was very stress-free. The staff made was professional. I’d recommend them to anyone looking for a used vehicle in their lot.

Disappointed in the customer service. Ended up having to pay additional fees at the DMV as the dealership gave me the wrong plates. Took almost 3 months to get registration. I still haven’t received title. Just to note, I’ve bought three cars since buying them with no “slow down from the dmv”.3 stars since the car is great.

Update: Direct Auto sold me a car with a broken passenger mirror after they explained that one of their employees had accidentally broken it, which was all fine until I had it repaired yesterday and found a slug inside the mirror. The car did not have the bullet hole in the dealers advertisement, so this obviously happened while in the care of Direct Auto. First time, Ive even bought a car with actual bullet holes. Someone is not being forthright which makes me question their overall business practices.Direct Auto was decent! Ask for Anthony, he is 100% of the reason I bought a car here. Anthony is professional, knowledgeable, low-pressure and a pleasure to deal with. This is rare at most car dealers these days!Another reason they didn’t get 5 stars from me is they gave me the car with the gas light on, and I had to immediately go fill up. C’mon man :(

Traveled over a hour and half to look at vehicle which did not work out for us, however David showed us several more cars, was helpful, and laid back. We brought a vehicle to trade they worked with us, gave us a better value on our trade in then anyone else and got us into almost a new jeep. All the sales guys, the lot helper, and owner were laid back, non pressuring, and very personable.David has a passion for selling cars and did a great job and worked with us from the beginning. I sent and inquiry on a truck and David Russell responded very quickly. After sending me additional photos and discussing trade in value I drove over 3 hours to look at truck. Great experience and exceptional customer service.I have been researching trucks for 6 months when I found a truck that I liked at a reasonable price through Carfax. I called the dealership and spoke to Jesse telling him that Id be in the next day to take a look at the truck and Id be trading in my old car. He said that he wasnt scheduled to work on that particular day but to message him before I arrived and hed be there.The very next day I drove almost 3 hours to look at the truck and trade in my car. As promised I texted Jesse and he was there waiting for me at the dealership. The truck was clean, I took it out for a test drive, they took care of my financing, gave me a great deal on my trade in, gave me a price exactly like what was online, and didnt add a bunch of things I didnt need. I didnt see a bed cover on the truck that I test drove where Id seen one online. When I showed him the picture they threw in the bed cover and honored the established online value. Every negative remark Id ever heard or experienced when buying a car was completely thrown out the window with this guy.While I was there the owner of the dealership came out and introduced himself. He thanked me for coming out, thanked me for my business, and informed me that they are only in that location temporarily until their new location up the road is finished.This dealership went above and beyond for me as a customer. They didnt know me from Adam but treated me like family. I couldnt be happier with my overall experience.

This dealership has the best truck selection that you can imagine and if they dont have it they will find it they have a variety sports cars in between these cars, sedan luxury sports cars are here too, whatever your need is, ¿do you have a family? Dealer offered $24,500 for my vehicle over the phone at a no haggle price. Drove an hour to the dealership for them to say that they had the vehicle mixed up with another one at that the max they could offer is $19,000. Waste of time.

If you have ever had the Saturn experience you will love this place! It was the most non-pressure, laid back, down to earth, customer friendly experience. Charles,(5 stars) is a man of his word! The car was barely on the lot two days. There were some things he told me he would take care of and he did. Honesty at a car lot is unheard of now days. Anthony has one of the nicest, funniest personalities! He continued to assist while Charles was taking care of some other things. Anthony made sure I had everything needed for the finance office. The team atmosphere really stood out. Troy was in finance. It took maybe 20 minutes for all the paperwork. Anthony and Troy were very personable!! I was trying to get a discount. I asked what other color cars sold that day and if I bought the same color would they discount my purchase. They stayed professional as long as the could and then we were all laughing and cracking jokes. No discount was given, but it became a fun experience! Charles, Anthony, and Troy you guys are awesome! This is one of the best car dealerships I have encountered in clarksville tn they have taken good care of my wife we bought a Buick Enclave and had transmission problems and they fix it with out any problems great business standards I recommend buying from them.

Emailed dealer all day about a car. Told him I lived 1.5 hours away and would be there after work. When I got there I was informed the car had a deposit and was no longer for sale. Then he tried to sell me a more expensive one. Do not use them.
