Negotiation process was excellent. Practically all by email. Straightforward. Best competitive pricing, excellent communication, new car factory order was flawless. Salesman James Buckner was knowledgeable, helpful, communicated wonderfully, and has a terrific sense of humor. 7 week wait for car was as-promised.Closing of sale and pick-up of car was flawed and unpleasant due mainly to corporate policies. Finance person first presented paperwork calling for amount due of $500-600 more than negotiated price. When this was pointed out, she quickly backed off to the correct amount. Then, she demanded that we sign an arbitration agreement giving up our rights to resort to the courts in the event of problems. I protested that that was not part of our (in writing - by email) agreement (contract) and that this was being mentioned (demanded) for the 1st time and was unfair. Floor manager at the time, Bryan Corona (very pleasant) ran the issue up the chain of command and informed my wife and I that corporate was insisting that I could not close the deal and take the car unless I signed the arbitration agreement. Under duress, after giving a downpayment 7 weeks prior and waiting 7 weeks for the custom-manufactured car in front of us, I signed the arbitration agreement.A wonderful purchase process was soured at the last minute by bad and unfair corporate policies, obligingly carried out by very pleasant dealership employees. Too bad.
Ended up being a pretty long buying experience due to a few organizational issue but overall we enjoyed working with them. Kevin was great. He was very knowledgeable of the car we were interested in and at no point put pressure on us to make a decision. We love the car we got.Their lifetime power train warranty for used cars was huge for us as well. We definitely recommend swinging by there next time youβre in the market for a car.

I was on my way out of town to Indiana for a funeral when I noticed my low tire signal was on. Fortunately I was still in Clarksville so I drove to Wyatt Johnson Subaru and pulled up to the service department door. Almost immediately a young man Dawson Collins ask if he could help. I explain to him the low tire pressure light is on heTook my car in to check it out. They not only checked my tire they performed a multi point inspection both at no cost to me. This is the 2nd time weve bought a Subaru Forester from them ! We love the Forester, love the sales, service, financial & management staff ! Our 1st time we bought the 2017 Forester. Every time we brought it in for normal service, ie: oil changes, tire rotation, etc, the service staff & mechanics were always very patient answering my questions, even found coupons for whatever service we needed ! We LOVED it ! ! !We decided to trade it in on the 2021 Forester to get some of the new safety features & get a different color. Our salesman, David Smith was awesome ! He explained all the safety features, answered all our question, if there was something he wasnt sure about, he went out of his way to find out from someone else. Everytime Ive been up there to take care of things, ie: get the permanent plate put on, get the hitch & window deflectors put on, pick up new registration, David has always come up & said hello & asked me if there was anything I needed or if I had any questions. I always hated the car buying experience. I have bought two cars in the last 16 years and it was time for a new one. I was fortunate that Josiah was my salesperson. I never felt pressured or that I was not getting a good deal. He is knowledgeable and understanding. Josiah changed my perception of the car buying process. I am extremely happy with my 2021 Outback.
Long story short; we had a falling out with the Subaru dealership nearest me so we found the car we were looking for online at Wyatt Johnson. The sales manager called me and I told him what I wanted, what I had to trade, and where I want to be as far as finances were concerned. He beat the other dealships offer and gave a higher trade value with out even seeing the vehicle. I told him I was on my way and was in and out relatively quickly; they even gave us more for the trade after seeing the vehicle. After leaving, we were set up with a local Subaru representative to go through any questions we might have or have in the future (canβt remember the name of the service). She was extremely knowledgeable, kind and answered all our questions. Finally, out of the blue, we received a tin of cookies from the dealership; not a big deal but itβs the little things that count. Even though there are a plethora of dealerships between us and Wyatt Johnson, I will go out of my way to purchase from them because they provided value with their excellent quality service.

My window wasnβt working right in my brand new Subaru and I was told it would cost $350 because itβs βtrimβ and not covered under my warranty. I called another dealership and they said itβs a common problem with dust/debris/pollen. A quick cleaning of the window well and my window is working fine. Have also tried several times to take my car back in and have the tires looked at which are making noise after being rotated. Nobody will call me back and the earliest appointment is weeks away. So I went to a local tire shop who helped me immediately and said itβs a problem with how the dealership has been rotating them. This place also tries so upsell unnecessary service, one of which I agreed to not knowing it was BS and very much an optional thing. Needless to say, Iβll be driving to Nashville for future service after this nonsense.

I couldnβt have asked for a better Car Salesman if I tried. I felt like I was getting the shaft left and right with everywhere I went to talk about a car until I came to to Wyatt Johnson Subaru. You want to be taken care of go see James Buckner for a great deal.
Do not ever take your car here for an oil change. We unfortunately have the extended warranty so we take it there to keep our extended coverage (yes, we still pay for our maintenance) but it takes forever to get an oil change. They quote you an hour but youβll never be out of there in a hour, regardless of the time you go. Today it took an hour and 45 mins. After being assured it wouldnβt be over an house because I had to get all the way back to Hopkinsville drop off my son, get changed for work and get back to clarksville. The previous time (while also with my son) THEY FORGOT ME. The mechanics went on lunch during my apt. It was over three hours there. The receptionist was even apologizing because she wasnβt sure how that happened. My apt was in books. I was there when told, but just forgot about, with a 3 yr old. Such a joke.
