I needed a battery. The gentleman who helped me did it right! He used the battery saver, reinstalled the heat shield properly and double checked the hold - down. Thank you. See you for another one, but hopefully no time soon. :)

The manager there was an absolute nightmare! She was horribly rude & awful for no reason whatsoever! She not only threatened me for asking someone to look at my car since it was leaking coolant and lied to him and claimed I had other men looking at my car before he had. This woman was the most rude and terrible person I have EVER come across in a public settings!!!!!!

Called the Auto Parts by my house and Amy found a part and within 20 minutes of my call the new battery was in the truck! Everyone in the store was great!

I needed to exchange my battery that was still under warranty. When I called their store in Marietta and gave them my information the tech was able to see my purchase under the phone number that I had given him. I asked if I could go to any Advanced Auto and he said yes as long as I give them the same information that I had given him. I took my battery to their location on 5475 Peachtree Industrial Chamblee Ga and Jerimiah stated that he couldn’t handle my exchange. Now I’m furious. One because at this time of need and the stress of being an essentials employee I can’t do an exchange on a battery that is under warranty and that was purchased from your company! The people there were rude and not willing to help. I will not be returning to this location.
The store seems severely understaffed. I had a car battery that needed to be replaced and was only a few weeks old and the manager just made a bunch of flippant remarks and told me to bury it when they couldnt get it to charge. The other employee was at least nice and accommodating but didnt have the power to assist. Another customer had been waiting over an hour for assistance with an alternator.

This place is great. Bought some new windshield wipers for the second time and both times the guy at the register came out and help me put them on. I appreciated that very much since I cant ever get my windshield wipers on when I buy them.
Always get great, if often slow, service. Though very courteous. Ive never seen more than two workers in the many times over the years. Still, always helpful.

The cashier an older gentleman was funny and engaging but helpful. I needed some windshield blades. He was a bit slow but all in all it was a good shopping experience.
Bad experience. I was here to change my battery. A clerk at the counter wanted to help me test and see whether i needed to change it. Another man told him not to test but change it immediately. The third man pushed me saying that they are closing soon and asked me to buy immidiately. I did not buy it finally because their service sucked. I d rather find another store to have a more professional team to help.

Fantastic! We are in the process of moving. I had battery troubles while heading in to work. I couldn’t do the work on my own since I didn’t have my tools with me. I went in and they quickly replaced my battery. The whole process took maybe 10 minutes. They had me on my way and into work on time. I think the associate who helped me was named Tony.
My husband and I stopped in to get a few things for my moms BMW and Terica went above and beyond to help us. She got everything we needed, helped us swap out the wiper blades and tried to help us with the blinker bulbs but they were just too hard to get to. She was super sweet and super helpful. Thanks Terica!

That woman Terica was not doing anything while this other kid is doing everything while she bosses him around. The kid was a very good worker who was trying to do the best he could with no help.
I would not recommend getting your battery tested here. I went on Thursday and was told my alternator was bad because of the high numbers shown. They then offered to sell me the alternator and knew someone who would put it in for me who wouldn’t charge as much.After calling multiple places I booked an appointment with my dealership and left. Since Thursday I have gone to two different shops who both separately said it definitely was NOT my alternator and must have been faulty store equipment or user error.It may not have been intentional but I definitely will not return.
Nick was awesome!!! Saved me $150!!! Fixed my loose cable and got me back on the road in under 7 minutes!!! Ive had to come here twice and each time, the service was excellent. Thanks for the laughs and the service guys!!!

Great service. A nice lady sold me a set of windshield wipers and installed for no charge.
Went here yesterday and got some great service from the employees here. I had an issue with my air flow sensor and the guy helped me out for an hour and a half figuring out my problem. He was completely honest with me and I never felt like he was trying to trying to sell me anything I didnt need.
Dangerously incompetent. They installed a battery in my car that was too big to fit the factory harness, but didn’t tell me leaving the battery unsecured. I later discovered it completely off its platform resting on my radiator. They put my family’s lives in danger. It could have shorted out while driving and worst caught fire.The kicker was when I returned to this store to have them address the problem. Carlos agreed the battery was too big and initially said I was sold an incorrect size. But when I told him I didn’t think I should have to pay for the $7 universal harness to replace my bungee cord, he said he didn’t know what happened that day and he couldn’t give me the part. I wasn’t even asking for the correct sized battery.Don’t waste your money at Advanced Auto Parts, they won’t stand behind their work and they’ll happily put your life in danger to avoid doing any more than they have to.

Slowest service I received in a while. The only attendant on duty appeared not being able to find something for customer before me after searching every isle of entire store. He was wearing house shoes and walked at a snails pace.A second attendant emerged from the back but not to help knock down a 5 people line but to put up some stock. Not that they did not need stock put up, because oh boy they had returns all over the counters. However he could have helped out of common courtesy.My part was on the shelf, no other options just one brand in one grade quality. I had to help find it in his computer.Poor service, unprofessional appearance, lack of attention to customers. Being in the middle of Buford Hwy in DIY community does not give excuse to Advance Auto Parts.
Do not trust this place. They tell you that you can return something if it is wrong and then wont actually do it.

Awful service. I came to buy a battery. The lazy woman at the front claimed she didn’t know how to replace my battery and said it was too cold for her to come out. The other auto places in the area said that the Advance usually replaces my kind of battery so I know she was being lazy. Because of her my car died at the next location I went to. Bought a windshield wiper blade ....much to my surprise no one knew how to install the blade including the manager... had to travel 5 miles to the next door to have them install

Yesterday I came here to get my oil and filter and the employee, Asif, gave me the wrong oil. Luckily I called my mechanic and he told me I needed the high mileage, which As if didnt ask if I needed. Then he told me he couldnt give me the discount advertised on the rack. I asked to talk to the manager, Carl. B, who took a call from his cell phone as soon as I walked up to him. The Mr. Carl helped me after I waited for him to finish his call, which is sorry customer service. Just go to the advanced in embryo hills. The Chamblee store is not worth it. There wasnt a single competent employee in this place

After the cashier tried to instal it, I returned it so the manager treated me badly and told me it was my fault after this because I get the wrong item after he gave me the wrong number. He was screaming at my wife because she dont wanted to buy two wiper stead of one. His name is Carl B. He have a terrible costumer service
They have the parts you need. Dont try to return open electrical parts though.
Horrible staff! Gave me the wrong size nut that stripped my studs. Went back to complain, they gave me free studs ($3/stud, while mechanics charge $115/wheel, UNACCEPTABLE). Botton line, never expect informed advice from a parts store, do your own research!
