I took my car here for bodywork from an accident, and the whole experience was great. I worked with Paul M. and he made the process easy and painless, even while I worked through some issues with my insurance company. AMM was informative throughout and I received text messages for every step along the way letting me know when my car would likely be ready for pickup. I had a rental scheduled and they handled making sure that the rental car company picked me up when I dropped my car off, and even offered to help handle the return. When I received my car it looked good as new. I highly recommend AMM, and although I hope I dont need bodywork any time soon, they will definitely be first on my list in the future.

I got in a fender-bender last week that messed up the entire back end of my car, airbags, and seatbelts (from the force of the accident they had completely lost their pull back). My insurance agent PERSONALLY recommended this shop as he had used it when he was rear ended and had had great results. AMM told me one week to fix all of it and were only off by one day. I got my car back in amazing condition. All of my family couldnt believe I got it back so fast since they had worked with other places for similar collisions and it was 2-3 weeks! The front desk staff were super helpful in arranging a rental car for me last minute as well. Could not be happier with the outcome!

Go anywhere but here. The absolute worst service you could ever imagine. At Geico’s recommendation, I dropped my vehicle off here on 06/30 and my vehicle has yet to be touched and today is 08/16. After numerous attempts and zero call backs, I was finally able to reach Adrian the week before who promised me the vehicle would be done on Friday 08/13, it’s now the following Monday 08/16. Today, I physically showed up to get an honest answer on the status of my vehicle. I spoke to Roy because Adrian is actually no longer assigned to my vehicle (?!) who flat out told me the vehicle hasn’t even been touched and that he doesn’t have an actual date on when the vehicle will be done. Why such a delay? Roy also disclosed that this shop didn’t have a mechanic on hand for awhile. That they would need to have my vehicle towed to another location for work to begin on the vehicle. BEGIN. While on a recorded line, Adrian also ensured that this was the shop’s mistake and that they would be picking up the rental fees as insurance stops paying for the rental after 30 days. This came as news to Roy when I mentioned it and that he would need to speak to his supervisor to have this confirmed as they don’t do that. I no longer live in this city or state, I came down for the weekend expecting my car to be ready for pickup and this is what I came into. Roy promised a call back by end of day with answer or as he refers to it “a game plan” but from what has been shared, you and I both know I won’t be hearing back. AMM, please take pride in your business and have some integrity.Update: No call back was given to me. AMM continues to live up to the poor expectations.

Disappointed that it seems my car was not test driven after repair. Radiator was replaced, but was leaking causing my car to overheat on the way home and left me stranded. Left over packaging was also left in my back seat. Thankfully the shop fixed the issue and repairs were done quickly. Staff are polite and courteous. Unfortunately after everything I do not think I will be using this business again for any future repairs

I selected AMM S Congress through State Farm to do repair work for my car. Usually body shop contacts the user. But they never contacted.I tried calling them 5 times and left 3 voice mails, still no response from state farm agent at the office.

This place is a rip off. I went somewhere else to get an estimate and they were 5k less than these guys. Go to service king. AMM service blows. They told me it would only take one day to get an estimate and it literally took three phone calls and two weeks to get one from them. They’re over booked and continue to try and get new business. Don’t go here.

Amazing service. Everyone was super nice. They cleaned my car, and did everything perfect. Usually collision places feel a bit sketchy, but this place was amazing.

I am amazed at how fast they were able to repair my vehicle ! It was my first time dealing with insurance and the process of having to fix damages after a small accident, but Roy was extremely helpful from start to finish. I brought my car in Monday and they gave it back to me looking brand new again by Thursday ! I would absolutely recommend to anyone who is going through the stressful process of repairs. I not only left happy, but I left feeling like I had never been in a accident in the first place. 10/10 all around on service and professionalism

Absolutely the WORST experience I’ve ever had at an auto place… was promised my car would be finished in two weeks and would be done on a Monday… called the Monday to confirm and was told it wouldActually be done on Wednesday.. I had no problem with the fact that my car wouldn’t be done when it was promised, BUT why wasn’t I called to be notified of this change?? Wednesday came and I picked my car up (no one walked my vehicle with me, just handed me my keys and that’s it!) when I start my car and get ready to leave to use my navigation system (which has always worked and I’ve NEVER had issues with prior to dropping my car off) all of a sudden it doesn’t work! I let Roger (the very rude guy who I’d been communicating with) know about the issue I was now having he immediately say “We didn’t touch that area.” But did admit that my battery was disconnected and then plugged back in after repairs. I am very upset and dissatisfied with the customer service of this place as well as the very rude employee here! I forgot to mention that I was ‘accused’ of cursing a worker out over the phone which I never did, and would never do!

I have used AMM collision on South Congress more than once, and I’m very pleased with their service. Everyone there is professional, supportive, and does great work. My personal representative, Mike, has helped me on two occasions and I am totally pleased with the results of them doing bodywork on my car.

They have been wonderful to work with and went the extra mile on their QC check. It didnt pass their standards and thus they did more for my vehicle.

AMM Collision on South Congress is amazing! My jumper cables were missing when I got my car back so they ought me a new set and delivered to my home! Above and beyond! I was in an accident during the week of the snow storm (other driver at fault). The back right corner of my Subaru Outback got a nice big crack. I took my car in on Monday 2/22, they got the parts and started the repair on Wednesday 2/24 and I had my car back that Friday 2/26- 12 days earlier than the projected completion date! Everyone was so nice and professional and put me at ease. The office was clean and COVID safe. They made sure I got into my rental car as well as made sure it was returned. If I ever have to get car body work done again I will definitely come here!

I would give a 3 star. I was in a car accident. And I was told to take here. They did a good job on what they repaired. However, I have a Dodge Grand caravan. And being that this place fixes wrecked vehicles. you would think they would have checked everything. And that they would know about the head rest deploying in accidents. We were hit pretty good. SO the driver and passenger head rest have some type of air bag thing in them. They both deployed. And this was not corrected. I did try to call but no answer. But I realized since the party that hit me insurance has probably already closed the ticket AMM probably wouldnt fix for me. Even though it should have been fixed along with everything else that was messed up in the accident. I obviously did not know that was a thing. So if you take your car to get repaired. Please have them look at even the head rest. This should have been done without me saying anything. I did not even know that was a thing like I said. I trusted that AMM would find everything and take care of me.

These folks were so kind. They were communicative throughout the process and worked directly with my insurance provider so I didnt have to do any of the heavy lifting. Plus, theyre FAST — I brought my car in Thursday late afternoon and before midday the following Tuesday, it was ready for pickup. Im pretty sure I heard them say any of the work they did has a lifetime warranty too... so thats reassuring. Overall, had a really great experience and highly recommend if youre in the South Austin area.

Company Lease Vehicle collision repair. The repair was in the rear of the Vehicle however when I got the Vehicle back I noticed driving to work early morning in the dark the headlights are dim. Finally discovered paint on the headlights. Work was in rear not thebfront. I guess someone swapped headlights off another vehicle, I am not happy. Not recommending this shop.

Professional, friendly atmosphere. The entire team was attentive and took care of the whole process with the insurance company. My vehicle looked as if it had ever been in an accident. I am extremely pleased with the work.

AMM made my experience SO smooth. Since theyre associated with my auto insurance, they took care of everything for me. All I had to do was drop it off and pick it up! It took only 3 days to replace three different parts on my SUV... now she looks brand new! :) Roy was very informative about the damage and what would need to be done. Im definitely coming back for any additional repairs!

Very happy with my experience with AMM Collision. Dominic, the manager, was very nice, communicative, and professional throughout the whole process. They were able to get a big dent and scapes on my car completely fixed and in only a day and a half. This was after two dent repair shops told me they couldnt do anything about it! The ypung man that wrote my Geico estimate was knowledgeable, polite and efficient. He put more effort into listening to me and actually lifting the hood and looking under my vehicle....something the other estimates didnt do. By doing this he came closer to finding damage the other guys missed. The next part had nothing to do with him but instead with Geicos computer program for estimates. While he found considerably more damage, Geicos program estimated prices based on used parts or after market parts instead of the original Ford factory replacement parts. While he located considerably more damage, By replaceing with after market or used lower quality parts? The estimate was roughly 5% less than the other estimate with original Ford quality parts. Very dissappointing.

I had one of the best experiences repairing a dent at AMM. Roy my service advisor was absolutely wonderful! Not only was he extremely professional and helpful but he went above and beyond to earn my business and make sure everything was fully taken care of. They were fair and honest and had my Tiguan ready exactly when they promised. I will be using them for any future needs and highly recommend to others!

AMM Collision is awesome! I received exceptional service, my car was fixed quickly and the team is extremely professional. I recently moved here and my car was involved in a hit and run during COVID-19. (Worst timing ever) My entire rear end of my car was demolished. They got my car fixed in 10 days! Not business days, 10 days from when I brought it in. This job could have easily taken 3 weeks or longer. My car looks better than it did before I brought it in. Seriously I am so glad I went here. I want to thank Roy, Shannon and Roger for being so nice, professional and helpful through this entire process. Also major thank you to the guys/girls in the shop who repaired my car! I recently got my car repaired at AMM and I had a very good experience working with Mike and their team. At least as good as it can be when you are dealing with a crashed vehicle... Mike was responsive and consistent with his updates and even though my car was ready as quickly as they estimated, I was kept informed. I was also able to conveniently leave my rental at their location when I picked up my vehicle. Its only been a few days, but so far my car seems to be back in original form and they guaranteed the work for life just in case. I would definitely recommend them for your collision repair work especially if they deal with your insurance company.

Took my Fiat 500 Sport into AMM Collision last week to get repairs done after I was in a car accident where I rear ended someone. Accidents suck, but Roy at AMM Collision helped me through the process of getting repairs done and took so much stress off my shoulders, and made me feel like my car was in good hands. A few days later, I received a call from Roy and I picked up my little car in great condition and almost looking brand new on the inside and on the outside! Got my suspension redone and took to jeep Masters to get evaluated. Suspension bolts could be loosened by hand, jeep Masters fixed the shotty work. This is concerning because this is a extremely problematic safety concern.

Work was completed timely and completely. Communication through the process meet my expectations. and the State Farm adjuster answered all my questions.

Horrible experience. Not being in an accident by choice getting hit and other persons insurance having me come here has to have been one of the worst experiences. The rubber on my side door that protects so water doesn’t come in keeps coming out of place certain lines they painted are completely coming off Yet Roy Garza wanted to argue with me over the phone about how they didn’t touch that side at all.How is it that my car physically speaking was looking better pre accident then after bringing it to this shop? Hope to never be in an accident again but definitely won’t be coming here or recommending anybody. Super unprofessional and with this it was all directly with Roy, the office manager Shannon was really great in communicating hopefully you’ll have better luck in who overlooks your vehicle but I wouldn’t trust or recommend Roy Garza.Oh also — when I received my vehicle even though I brought it in clean they left it with all this white dust in the back seat. And with pieces of my vehicle missing that had to get mailed to me and myself put it in which shouldn’t have happened in the first place. Also being a graduate student in the mist of exams when this happened the fact that they gave me a timeline for when my vehicle was suppose to be ready but wasn’t was super inconvenient. Just don’t give out a date that you feel like you can’t meet I see in the other reviews I wasn’t the only one who dealt with this.

I would NOT recommend going here for a damage inspection with GEICO. They are an official GEICO office, but the communication between the two is HORRIBLE. It took three weeks and multiple phone calls for AMM to submit my repair estimate to GEICO. They are slow, disorganized and wont return your phone calls.

Though car accident is definitely not a happy experience, AMM collision do a pretty good job on repair. My agent Roger is very nice to solve all kinds of issue that found in the repair process. My car still looks good now.

I have serious doubts about their honesty. My truck has and does leak water into the cab after my bodywork was done. On the most recent attempt to fix the problem I was told the the problem was caused by rats. I believe this is just their attempt to move the responsibility away from themselves.

Roy was my service adviser and Amanda was the Geico representative. Both people were very professional and friendly. I was kept informed along the way and my car was completed in a very timely manner. They were both able to get me in and out very quickly. They are quick with their estimates and do decent body work for the price. The negatives are that they take a lot of time to fix the car and they will mess up other parts of the car and not take responsibility for their mistakes. They messed up my keyless start system and had the audacity to suggest that I drive the car in that state. Now I have to take my car to the dealer since AMM Collision said they will have to charge me the price of the diagnostic test and I would rather pay someone who understands the electronic system.

I got an estimate and made an appointment for the following day. I was told it would take 1 hour to repair. dropped the car off at 7:30am. I called at 11am to see if it was ready. They hadnt even begun to work on it. This place is unorganized. I would not recommend this place.

They did a great job fixing my fender bender and matching the paint on my Honda Accord (Im very, very picky about things like this). When I dropped off the vehicle I asked my advisor if they could touch up the little scrapes and scratches on the vehicle and he assured me that they would and that theyd send me home with a bottle of the touch up paint to keep. They didnt do that. Otherwise, I have no complaints.

Had a rear bumper replaced and it was done in 3 days. Roger was prompt and helpful and I will be going back if I ever need any work done. Their prices were a lot fairer then the caliber collision on Shelby.

They were fantastic! Was in/out for drop off and pick up in less than 20 minutes.

They performed 5 star work. However, whether they were busy with too many vehicles or understaffed, the communication updates were not timely. I would call for update and be told a time to expect a call back, which would be missed. Im guilty of this as well, I missed one of their calls. Overall Im satisfied with the work, Im still waiting for a wiper fluid cap to come in that was ordered, and new wind noise on the driver side door that was not there before to take a look at.

We had a great experience with them working on my sons car. Chuck is very professional and knowledgeable. They were able to fix two problems that the dealer couldnt or wouldnt fix and at less than 1/2 the price. Great repair team. Well be using them more in the future.

Ive been living in Austin for less than a year now and am still learning my way around town. When it comes to car repairs, I dont trust just anyone, so once my 2000 Honda Civic began showing symptoms of breaking down, I started to worry. After a friend recommended Ellis and Salazar on Congress, I was a little skeptical at first. Right from the beginning, however, the staff treated me really well and the mechanics not only seemed knowledgable but also trustworthy (especially the lead mechanic, Chuck). He never once tried to stiff me, and he gave me a much cheaper quote than another shop whose name I wont bash (the latter told me that they would do the job for a little more than $800 while Chuck said he and his guys could do it for $350). In fact, Chuck worked with me every step of the way and understood my struggles, which was extremely relieving given the fact that Im a student at St Edwards.Another person I would like to point out and thank is another mechanic whose name I did not get. After endlessly reading forums and looking at countless videos, I felt reasonably confident that the issue with my car had something to do with the serpentine belt. I asked them to take my car around the block so they could have a better idea of what they were dealing with. After taking it for a spin, this younger mechanic told me he felt pretty positive the issue was due to a worn brake pad. Although I wasnt completely sold on his theory at first, he reassured me after taking the front wheels off and verified that the brake pads were responsible for the unbearable, screeching noise my car made while accelerating. Two quick hours later, he had my car running better than before.I feel extremely grateful that I found such an honest, hardworking, and efficient bunch of guys and sweet receptionists who I can trust. I will definitely take my car there for future repairs and EXTREMELY recommend them to ANYONE who has a somewhat difficult time trusting mechanics. These guys definitely know how to take great care of their customers. (Did I mention they have a nice driver who would take customers ANYWHERE in Austin for free?)

I’ve used Ellis and Salazar for decades, now AMM after it was acquired, yet this time they had me come get my Acura TL, there were a number of items not done properly or not done at all, so I had to leave it. The shop manager was nice enough to take me home himself, yet when I returned and picked it up, it’s still not done complete well. And I get that it was wrecked and won’t be perfect. I also had my son-in-law’s Honda Pilot fixed there just a month ago and it’s not right either. He will be taking to back also.

Good work, fair prices, prompt service. My car was ready two days early, but there was no painting. These folks have been around a long time, theyre solid.

Always great service. Ive been going to them for years and they provide warranties on their work too!The last time I went in, my car got broken into on their property and my radio was stolen. They took care of the repair and got me the next best model stereo since mine was out of date. That is going above and beyond!
