My cars rear bumper was hit in a hit-and-run accident in my apartment complex. The sub-bumper was on the ground and it all looked awful and even the engine was upset over the accident (which didnt even make sense since its a front-wheel drive car). I had such a fight with my insurance about getting payments and I couldnt even get it towed for two weeks after the accident.The most flawless part of the entire ordeal was while the car was at Nova. They got the car early on a Friday morning and ordered the new parts that day. Everything arrived by the following Monday and they had my car looking better than before the accident by that same Thursday at lunch. They were kind and informative and they cut me a great deal on the deductible. There was no fuss and they were so nice. My car looks phenomenal and it runs smoothly now. They even washed it for me! In a few short interactions, they completely took the whole hassle off my shoulders. My car looks great and I couldnt be happier!!!I will only be going to Nova moving forward and I suggest anyone reading this review do the same!

I went to a few other places before going with Nova. Other shops just looked at my car and gave me the estimate, no explanation of what they were going to do at all. I went with Nova because they explained what they were going to do, how they were going to do it and why the price was that much. They are the most transparent business I’ve ever seen.

These guys saved me. I cannot thank them enough. So heres my story:I had some damage to the front of my car and some bad dings on the doors. It was barely drive-able and made such a ruckus I was scared to go faster than 20 mph. I had been quoted *astronomical* numbers every shop I visited and as a service industry worker it was entirely impossible to pay. So my roommate recommended Luus who in turn recommended me Nova for body repair.I rolled into Nova and right off the bat the owners/managers seemed real and genuine. They took some photos and began compiling an estimate, and while doing so, began fixing up my car for free! Like, not repairs, but just using wire to keep the dangling bits in place and stopping the scraping. I now could drive full speed without worrying! This is important later. Afterwards, the estimate they gave was not only reasonable, but a very generous deal. I was very relieved.The problem was this was in the midst of the first Covid lockdown. I was soon furloughed from my job (which I had been able to walk to) and now I had to look for a new job. Thank you Nova for those quick fixes because I was able to drive to a new temp job across town and keep my self afloat during this whole Covid nightmare. Without that I dunno what I would have done. (note: this is from when the photo of my cars damage comes from)Now, because of all this Covid trouble, I was unable to return for repairs until several months later when I felt financially confident. It took awhile, the body even started to rust. When I did return, they still had all my photos and paperwork on file. In five minutes I had it dropped off and good to go.When I returned, I was prepared to spend so much more than the estimate due to things like rust. But these guys stuck to the estimate! I cannot express my gratitude for these guys. They made a very hard couple of months so much easier. I had made no agreements, no payments, nothing that first visit and they still took time out of their busy day to tidy up the damage so I could get home safe, and thus, was able to work the next several months until I could come back and get it actually repaired. And the job they did was flawless, you would have never thought it had ever been damaged at all. Just look at the photo, its flawless! My roommate and I agree: good local guys like this keep the North Austin community alive. Thank you again, Nova!

These guys are the real deal. I had several estimates for some minor body work before finally stopping here. They beat all other estimates. Their price was, by far, the most reasonable. The quality of the work was excellent and done quickly. He even offered to fix a couple of other small items for no additional cost. There is no reason to go anywhere else for auto body work. Best price, excellent quality, friendly customer service.

Impeccable service. I visited 4 body shops for estimates before going with Nova. They provided an amazing repair at absolutely the lowest price, and even touched up paint scratches throughout the car, cleaned the inside/outside, without charging extra.Next time Ill save myself a few hours and just go to these guys directly.

Fantastic locally owned body shop! They did great work on my car fixing some damage another shop had repaired incorrectly. Now it looks great! They even met their original estimate even though it was a more expensive paint.

I love this place - I brought in my 2015 RAV4 with a small dent in the passenger side of the plastic bumper. They could have easily upsold me on the $500 bumper replacement, but they said they thought they could get it looking good enough with a little heat, sweat, glue and pressure. One hour later the dent was gone and they only charged me $40. Great experience, high quality work, honest people. Highly recommended

Their worker named Thanh is a magician. He did an amazing job on my car!!! I went to 11 places to get a quote for a complicated dent removal and paint (right on the lip of my hood). All of them said that they cant remove the dent and that I had to change the hood blah blah blah. I came here and Hoan and his brother were both super nice and courteous. The dent removal and the paint job were both done very professionally. They cleaned the car inside and outside. I HIGHLY recommend this place.

From the very beginning the process was very unprofessional. The gentleman took pictures of my car wrote up the estimate, and then handed it to me? He didnt take me back to his desk sit down with me and explain in detail the work to be done. By contrast the other gentleman who I assume to be the owner he was very personable, he sat down with the guy he was working with. He pulled the pictures up on his computer monitor and explained the work to be done. I called later because I was confused about the cost of the paint; it was listed on the estimate in hours rather than cost of the paint. I still dont know what it meant. Ive read other rating saying how they cleaned their cars, my car was by no means dirty when I brought it in but they could have at least vacuumed! Also it would be nice to hear them say THANK YOU! Then to top it all off when I get into my car sitting on the passenger seat in my headlight assembly? My seats are cloth and light colored! I am all about customer service and feeling appreciated and I did not notice either at this place. Will never go again nor will I ever refer anyone to Nova Body Shop!

Awesome service and quality work. I took my car in after it got side swiped and the quarter panel was ripped up. They replaced the quarter panel, bumper, and tail light. Quick turnaround and that part of the car now looks like new. Even went out of their way to repaint a sun damaged area for no extra charge.

I wrinkled a car door and didnt want to get insurance involved. Nova gave me the lowest bid and did a fine job. They also agreed to hold my car for an extra week while on a business trip. One place (rhymes with Maliber) wanted to charge me for extra days of parking -- on top of charging 240% more for the repairs. Good job Nova

My experience with this Business was incredible. The work on on my car was great, it looks brand new and not only that but they were $1,000 cheaper then the dealership. $1000!!!. They also did the work in 1 week versus 2-3 weeks quoted by the dealership. The work ethic of the owners is second to none and they value customer service above all. It takes less then 2 second to see that the owners have a big heart and are there for more then just making a quick buck. I absolutely recommend this business to anyone and they have earned my future referrals.

Wonderful people and fantastic job.I moved here from Chicago and had to fix some damage to my car. Being new to the area I checked out lots of places. They all gave me psychobabble about why it would cost loads to fix my car. But nova people were really straight forward and the price I ended up paying was much lease than any other quote. I felt safe and not cheated! I have posted a similar review before but it never seems to post. I hope this one stays up here because everyone should know how great these people are!

They did a very good job on my car. The only complaint I have is that I asked when should I expect my car to be finished I was told a specific day. I took off work to pick my car up went to the body shop and my car wasnt put back together they were still working on it. Other than that I didnt have any problems.

Hit a deer and they made it like nothing happened for less than anywhere else I looked at. The owner and employees were exceptionally courteous, prompt, and thorough. If I ever need body work Im going straight to Nova again right away.

Nova is THE BEST. They are real people who care about other people and they do great work. I needed a new tail light after a hit-and-run while I was parked. I went for an estimate, said to go ahead with ordering the new light--which was WAY less than I expected it to be--and was called the next day to tell me it had come in. Fu said to come in whenever I wanted, no appointment needed, and that it would take about 20 minutes for them to replace. I stopped by a couple days later and was out the door in 15 minutes with my new light installed, no joke. Ethical, nice, helpful, awesome work. Ill definitely have far less dread next time I have to get my car fixed.

While Novas work may be sufficient, their billing practices are predatory. My friend, a foreign national student, took his car there for a relatively minor repair. He initially told them he would drop the car off for the day, and they quoted him that it would take 8 hours to fix. He ended up staying at the shop while they repaired it, and the single technician spent right at 2.5 hours working on the car. However, my friend was billed for parts plus 8.2 hours of labor, well over 3x the actual amount of time spent. This discrepancy resulted in more than $270 of extra charges.When I called Nova on behalf of my friend to inquire on the charges, the guy repeatedly explained that the computer system they use automatically assesses an estimated amount of time required. I argued that estimates are fine (though that is a gross overestimation), but charges should be based on actual hours worked (or at least something close to it...). That seemed to be a completely foreign concept to him. When I pressed him on it, he noted that (and Im not joking here) my friend had said he would be leaving the car there all day, but since he was instead sat and waited they just worked on it straight through, and thats why it was less. So, according to this guy, if you leave your car at Nova and dont watch it, they will just let it sit there and charge you labor hours for it. His other justification was (and he said this several times), Well, he agreed to it! So if you are an unsuspecting and trusting person, Nova will gladly take advantage of you and charge you more than 3 times the actual labor costs.I will be reporting Nova Body Shop to the Better Business Bureau for predatory practices in taking advantage of a foreign student, and I encourage everyone to look elsewhere until they correct their malicious business practices.

One of the shadiest shop I have ever been too. Will never trust my car with them ever again. You might think that they did a good job on your car, but good thing I was vigilant and saw the many flaws after they have fixed in the body and paint. Only after a year the paint started cracking. Kind of scared for the people they have taken advantage off in the past from their short cut tactics.

Nova body shop is the best body shop Ive been to in the 3 cities Ive lived in (Dallas, Denver, Austin). They do great work and they will work with you if price is a big issue.Ive used them twice and they have seriously exceeded my expectations both times.I brought in my Infiniti G35 and they searched high and low to find new parts at discount prices. They saved me over $1000 on parts. Furthermore, I got quotes from Maaco and a couple other big shops as well as a couple other smaller shops and Nova gave me the most detailed estimate and the best service out of all the other shops. And they were about $2000 less expensive as well. They walk through the estimate with you and show you the broken parts on your car so you know exactly what your paying for. They were so transparent, and it made me really comfortable.Overall 5 stars, hands down. Best body shop in Austin.

Simply an amazing experience. I brought two cars in on a Tuesday morning with decent damage, and both were fixed by that Friday. They deliver the cars washed and vacuumed, and they even gave me a sizeable discount. I cant recommend this body shop enough. I had enough stress from dealing with an accident, and the guys at Nova really helped reduce that stress with everything they did and how nice they were.

Had to have an aftermarket louvered tailgate painted for my truck. They went through a lot of trouble to ensure that the color matched the other aftermarket items on the truck, but also, that it matched perfectly. It was done when promised.

My family came to Austin, TX from Knoxville, TN. On the way to Austin, we were caught in an accident that damaged our Honda Odyssey. My wife was very sad because the Honda is her favorite. My friend, Jack, learned about our damaged Honda and took me to Nova Body Shop. Jack assured us that my wife will be satisfied with the outcome; because Jack always brings his cars there. When I talked to Hoan, the shops owner and manager, who recommended a course of remedy and contacted my All State agent to identify some areas that the insurance adjuster overlooked. My car looks 100% brand new and they fixed things that I had just accepted as minor dings and scratches. Plus the final bill was not just fair but lower than expected.
