Don is an honest hard working family Man. Ive utilized his sevices for over 20 yrs. He doesnt have the fancy building with a secretary and all the fancies. He has his building and property full of classic vehicles, which is what he likes doing, but he will also get you in & out with quality work, in a quick seamless manner.

Was skeptical initially taking my car to Don because of previous reviews, but i took a chance on my metallic red lexus es350, color matched perfectly, bumper was also replaced and you cant really tell that there was recent paint job. The best part of it was the amount he charged, very reasonable and overall i was really impressed with the overall result.

Don appears to be honest but dont be fooled. I sent my car to him in 2014. He said that he could do a complete restoration. There were a lot of parts. He charged me $2000 to inventory the parts. He later admitted that he did not do this task. Thereafter he would request payments. I was traveling and living part of the year in Colorado. He sent me a series of pictures that made it look like progress was being made. In 2016 he asked for a payment of $5000 to complete the body work and paint the car. Every few months I would talk to him and he would say that my car was next. Next never happened. His shop is a hazardous zone with opened paint cans cluttering the floor. So many cans that it is difficult to walk in his shop. His paint booth looks as if it hasnt been used in years. It would also be impossible to get a car in or out of the booth since the floor is so cluttered. It appears that he did repair and replace rusted panels on the car. Someone he hired to work on the car put Bondo on the holes that are used for chrome fasteners. The dash was perfectly painted with new paint but it is now probably ruined because of overspray from gray primer because it was not masked. Shockingly I paid Don over $13,000. I have asked for my money back but he has not answered my request.My advice is to steer clear of Dons Classic Cars

Don was really helpful getting the body damage repaired on my car. He made every effort to find an affordable solution utilizing many sources for parts. He has been in business in Austin for years and I really enjoyed getting to meet him and talking about the growth in Austin.

I had a vehicle there for about 5 years and he did very little to nothing. I gave him $10k up front and got nothing for 5 years...still trying to be reimbursed. theres cat feces and cat food everywhere it smells awful its absolutely filthy.Id steer clear of this session pool!

-Took 8 weeks after guaranteeing 2-Constantly changed excuses for the delay when he wasnt dodging calls-Never completed the job-Owner had to take car to dealership for new front bumper symbol which he removed and kept-Removed safety features (windshield wipers) and returned car without informing owner-Billed insurance company for full job
