We live in California and having been using the same body shop for 30 years. Our daughter is a student-athlete at UT Austin and she got t-boned by a City Bus. We did not want to wait until summer to get it fixed when she is home in California. We did some research, and everyone said we should use Continental Collision. We had to wait a while, because they were so backed-up from the March hail-storms. But we didnt care how long we needed to wait. Every person is thoughtful, helpful, and cares about the customer. The work they do is great. They keep you informed. They handled all of the communications and issue resolution with our insurance company. They ordered the parts in advance. The shop and facilities are safe and clean. They have a lifetime guarantee.

Not that I’ve used body shops very often, but I would venture to say that Continental Collision is likely the best shop in Austin. They brought my Subaru back to looking like new after someone backed into the side of my car leaving a huge dent in the passenger door. Ed was my service representative and he was good about calling and giving me updates on status and expected date for completion. I highly recommend this shop and would definitely use them again.

I had extensive hail damage across entire car. A previous estimator had originally said the entire skin of my car would need to be replaced! Continental Collision gave me other options when I went to them for a second opinion. They were specific about what they were recommending be done, but totally worked with me on what my preferences and budget allowed. They were excellent at being available for follow-up calls, and they were consistent about calling me with regular updates as the work progressed. My car looks FANTASTIC. I recommend 100%!

The body work was done really well. They could of earned 5 stars but the condition they left my car in at pickup was unacceptable. My creme colored leather was almost Black and covered in shoe prints. My radio screen had a giant sticker over it and Im still trying to get some crazy awful smell out the vehicle. I spent 2 hours cleaning it today. I would go somewhere else with higher standards and better customer service.

It’s currently august. They said do not bring your wrecked car in. We have a wait list until the end of September or beginning of October. Horrible. The only Subaru certified collision center in 50 miles. I also bought my Subaru from their dealership which made the collision center a selling point. It’s a trap. Why have a collision center if you can’t accept wrecked cars until two months later????? Insurance won’t pay for a rental car that long.

I have used Continental Collision twice for bodywork. Each time, they were extremely professional, honest, provided information needed to plan my needs and did a BEAUTIFUL job! I highly recommend them!!

Made an appointment that was confirmed. A few days out they call and leave a message that says they are changing my appointment day and time, I have already secured a rental and taken the day off of work for the original appointment date. Call in and get a run around before they finally explain they are really busy and actually want to ask for volunteers, not what their voicemail said. Finally get body work done and get a call that we need to bring a check to cover the work. Told them according to my insurance company, whom this shop already sent a costlier estimate too, the insurance company takes care of that but sure I can do their job for them and reach out to the insurance company they are already working with. Get a call back a few minutes later saying don’t worry, we took care of it. Get into the back hatch area and the brake light, which was not broken before I took the vehicle in, is now broken and hanging from its wires. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Given that there were a lot of hail damage claims in the neighborhood, they took 25 days in lieu of initially estimated 7-10 days. Theres a part (window molding) that is out of stock and Im fine going back to them to get it fixed. However, the paint job on the newly replaced hood is not well done. There are multiple air bubbles in the hoods paint and the hoods hydraulics dont operate as they used to. Ill have to revisit them to point out these issues.

Waiting for them to update me on my cars status. More than 2 weeks and no update on my vehicle. Also, for some reason they do not request approval for al claims at once. Rather they will work on 1 claim at one time and then attend the other. There might be some intelligence behind it which i do not understand but my car is in the bodyshop for more than 3 weeks for jobs as simple as replacing a bumper or hood.

Had hail damage. They fixed. Great job. However, received cat back and Moyer for adjustable seat was messed up. Sub adjuster cam out. Looked at it. Was not going to make call/ have my adjuster call on Monday and it’s Wednesday no call. Ed is not very customer oriented. I guess they lost any future business

I took my truck in to get hail damage repaired. The work performed was excellent and the truck looked brand new. My only complaint is that it appeared they went joy ridding in it because the driver and passenger seats were leaned back and they put 87 additional miles on the truck. That is very unprofessional and I will not take my truck there again which is a shame as they performed excellent work.Update: I received a call from the manager and he explained the situation to me. His explanation made sense so I am changing my score to 5 stars. Excellent work and customer service!

Josh was amazing and really great to me. There was a bit of a part delay with everything going on but glad everytime I called to check up on it Josh was more than happy to answer or call me back. And once it came in Josh told me he kept it at his desk to make sure they didnt lose it which really helped me relax cause I had bad experience before with other places. Before using this place, you should more than double the time they tell you and expect to pay well over the estimate. They told me it would take 18 days for hail damage, it has now been 42 days and they just told me it would take another week. They wont return my calls or the calls from the insurance company so Progressive literally had to send an agent over there to find out what was going on. They still havent returned my calls and Ive wracked up an $800 rental bill, they could care less. Find another body shop, seriously.

I had a wreck and my car was towed. After dealing with the standard insurance protocol, I decided to have my car fixed/estimated at CC. I sent the proper forms for CC to come and pick up my car to start the estimate process. A week later I call them for an update, Ed says that its on the lots and they are processing my car. 10 days later I call back to check progress and OOPS! Ed says that they just forgot. And it never got picked up from the tow yard! So I was lied to. And the adjusters there just never double checked to wonder where my car was. And how was I treated after this systemic incompetence was exposed? A weak apology from the front desk person even though I had been lied to. People need wreck claims to come through quickly so insurance can get you back in a car asap. And that was the exact opposite of what happened. Continental Auto Group will never get any of my business again.

When I asked for a worst case scenario price, he offered that I send him more photos of the bottom of the car, and even went above and beyond by sending me an email with his email address. I attached photos and a video. He was prompt in responding to me with more information and said the video was very helpful. He was also careful to say that it is still just an estimate; I appreciate his ability to manage expectations.Normally I would obtain several quotes from multiple service providers. But the level of customer service here is truly stellar and as a result I am likely going to move forward with your shop.

I am extremely impressed with Continental Collision. The last day of 2020 I got rear ended (thanks for everything 2020), so the situation was already very frustrating and mentally exhausting. Especially dealing with all the insurance calls and rental cars and such. Throughout all of it, continental collision was immediately responsive, listened to my woes, and made me feel valued as a customer. The work was well done, but the receptionist only put on her mask to talk to us after talking on the phone for several minutes while we were waiting. That’s not how aerosol transmission works. It doesn’t care who you’re taking to. Most employees weren’t wearing a mask in the back that I could see, either. I didn’t feel very safe during a global pandemic. The tech who worked with us was nice about bringing paperwork outside, though. They just need to have their receptionists take this seriously.

DO NOT RECONDITION YOUR RIMS HERE!!!I had my 2014 Lexus RX350 repaired here in August after getting hit by a drunk driver. They worked with her insurance company State Farm on the fix. I required a new right fender and bumper. Joshua was assigned to my case and was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, It took double the amount of time estimated to repair my car, with it spending roughly a month in Continentals hands. Apparently they forgot to order certain clips required to reassemble the bumper; requiring Insurance to revisit the shop to approve the inexpensive parts. Despite this small delay, they were very generous and threw in a new clear bra on the replaced parts, as well as discounting rim reconditioning on my front right wheel. I really appreciated Continental and their service until I received my car back.When I revived my car, the rim that was reconditioned was a completely different color than the other rims. It was like a light matte grey compared to the other darker reflective rims. Continental told me this wasn’t their fault since they used a vendor in Dallas for rim reconditioning. I was very disappointed with this response considering they choose use that vendor, if it’s not their fault than whose is it!? I refused to accept the vehicle and requested the rim to be redone.They claim they sent the rim back to Dallas for reconditioning. When it was returned, it was still the same shade of grey (not darker like the other ones) and just slightly shinier. I doubt they even repainted it, just putting a reflective coating on it. In addition to that, once I received my car for the second time, there was damage to my interior. The right A-pillar’s cover was hanging down and had dark finger prints on it, almost as if it were from oily fingers. I was very disappointed with this result, last time one of my family members took their Lexus here they did an outstanding job. Considering this shop works with luxury vehicles like Mercedes and they still couldn’t get it right by the second time, I was was disgruntled by their work, especially since it took double the time for the work to get done. I ended up popping the cover on the A-pillar back in, with the shop claiming that they had nothing to do with it.If you have a Japanese car (specifically Toyota or Lexus) I recommend Rising Sun Auto. Continental did a great job on color blending the new bumper and fender, how ever lacked attention to detail when using 3rd party vendors on the rim reconditioning as well as to ordering all necessary parts the first time. I had this repair done months ago, however told myself I would only write a review if I still noticed the discolored rims down the road... and I do. Every day I look at that car I spent years to pay off and am reminded of Continentals lack of attention to detail. Regardless of what company they use for their rim reconditioning, it’s still their job to make it right and take responsibility considering they are the ones who chose that rim company in the first place.

Continental Collision made good on follow up work to fix a seal which caused a leak that ruined a SAM module in the rear of the vehicle. Replaced SAM at no charge and fixed the leak at no charge. Lifetime warranty was honored on repairs.

Continental auto group was exceptional from start to finish. From the online estimator tool to dropping off the vehicle with Dan Herman, the entire process couldn’t have been any better. The service was exceptional and the work was done in a very timely manner. Although having had hit a deer and causing some damage to the front of my vehicle, working with continental auto group made it absolutely bearable. I could not recommend a better collision repair shop then continental auto group.

Our car was the victim of a fender bender. At just a few years old we really wanted OEM parts since we are also in the planning stages of selling it. Continental was able to price match everything with Subaru and their paint job to match was fantastic. We drove all the way up from San Antonio so they specifically could work on it. They will definitely be our go to in the event our cars need any work done.

Daniel was very professional and helpful, and responsive. They fixed my car in 3 weeks, despite the massive shortages due to Covid, and the flood of car collisions due to the Winter Storm. They really worked hard to get the job done. They live up to the high reviews online.

My car, while looking great on outside, had significant issues on the mechanical side, that were not addressed, and it had been a challenging it seems for Continental to get back with me. In the one conversation, it was suggested that I had been responsible for the issues since I had driven it off their lot after they supposedly fixed it. When I had paid they, was told their work was guaranteed for life. Very sad when the car runs worse after time in the shop.

Continental kicked my car out under the timeframe they had suggested and detailed it inside and out. I was so impressed with their level of service and professionalism.

I worked with an insurance adjuster to complete repairs. They referred this place. I was without my vehicle for a reasonable amount of time and when I was dropped off to pick it up I was in disbelief when I saw my car. It was sitting in the parking lot waxed and cleaned. The damage was in the rear bumper but they took time to deliver a perfect car. I will say once on the road my brakes needed adjustments that should have been completed after the reassemble of the vehicle. It was kind of scary when I needed to use my brakes the first time.

These guys are referred from the benz dealer and do a TERRIBLE job. Dont even know how to match the physical car key with the glove compartment key! For a place that hooks my insurance $2600 just for a smashed window and broken glove compartment, I would expect a decent job.They refused to fix the key. And did not even clean half broken glass on my seats!Could not even match the black paint on my door trim, when they charged me for a new part but just painted it instead.They hire young girls to sell to you and dont let you talk directly to a mechanic to address the problem.

This might be a little different review because I didnt actually end up needing body work done. We found huge streak of something on the side of a 2 week old vehicle. Couldnt tell if it was paint from another car or if something had scraped through our paint down to the primer, but I couldnt rub/wash it of by hand. I sent pictures to Continental Collision through their web form, and was contacted and told to bring the car in. They would try to buff the panel out as a courtesy, and write an estimate if it did need paint work.Turns out that 95% of this damage was something deposited on the car that they buffed out, then they quickly sanded out a small abrasion in the clear coat and polished it all up. Back to good as new. I really appreciated the professionalism and courtesy. Great way to earn future business.

Had a zero hassle experience with Continental on my recent visit. Service was very courteous and straightforward, and there was no time wasted. The work done was top quality and am pleased with the results and the price. Also nice was that they were able to squeeze me in the same week and have my car done the same day I dropped it off. I had some minor dent repairs done, but they still treated me like a customer paying 3x as much. This isnt a shop thats going to go and tack on unnecessary work just to make you pay them more. Ill definitely consider them next time I should have issues with my vehicle.

Repairs were done ahead of schedule, communication was great and their coordination with rental car services is excellent. I certainly hope I won’t be needing the services of a body shop again soon but If I do I would 100% use Continental again.

We were a returning customer. Unknown to us, the vendor and our insurance company have some communication challenges that extended the process by a week plus. QA isnt their strong suit. Two visits, and three attempts later the business transaction is complete. On a positive note, the car looks nice and there is a life time warranty as long as we own the car. They buffed out the head lights as a courtesy due to the inconveniences experienced. Challenges: Communication and business management of their relationship with the insurance company and attention to detail and QA prior to presenting the final product to the customer. Positives: Very nice staff and adjuster.

I have used continental collision several times with a few different cars. They always do a great job as they did this time. In fact, they even did a touch up of the bumper that nationwide would not add to this situation. I Also feel very taken care of and have a warm feeling in a not so pleasant situation as a wrecked auto.

My car was well repaired and fully cleaned when I retrieved it! Continental Collision got a dent out of my side panel and even redid the pinstriping detail that was damaged on the car before I bought it. They worked completely with my insurance, but were transparent about what was happening with my car through the entire process. The repairs did take longer than anticipated and there were some moths in the car when I got it back, but overall, Im very pleased and would return to CC in the future.

I brought my Outback in to repair some body damage from a hit and run. Ed was extremely courteous and professional. He gave me an estimated repair timeline and told me he would call me if that changed. As promised, he called me to let me know that it was determined that one door would have to be replaced, not repaired. He told me that the damage may have compromised the safety features in the door.
