It is very unfortunate that I have to give this location a one but if I could give it a zero I would give it a zero. I have to go purchase a tire on Saturday morning last week and I did my due diligence that evening at picking Walmart didnt want to go to Walmart but I did because they had a pretty reasonable price. I went in knowing everything that I needed and the brand unfortunately the male cashier had a testy little attitude they had no product this selection was so low to the point where I was forced to purchase a tire that was $25 more expensive than what I anticipated. Well this is all going on Im still getting all this attitude from the male cashier. I finally give in and go ahead and purchase the tire. After purchasing the tire I realized this particular Walmart auto care center has no sitting area for their customers because they want to force you to walk through Walmart and spend additional money. But if I go to our counterparts Walmart auto center in a Caucasian area theres a sitting area and a lounge area outside also. This is why people just dont want to shop at Walmart for their auto care needs its because Walmart destroys the local economy shuts down all the manpower stores and enforces us in the African American community to have to walk through their store because theres nowhere to sit. Its such a passively aggressive scenario to con you into spending more money at their establishment. Walmart you need to do better put lounge areas inside your store for your auto care center. Your service needs to be a lot better you need a lounge for your clients that are spending their hard-earned money and do a better job is stocking your tires so people can make a better decision on what it is that they need and not have to spend what you want them to spend. Im done with this review and I wouldnt refer this location for anything in the world
LADIES DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU CAN AVOID IT. The mechanic DEE is so disrespectful. I don’t know who raised him to speak to women the way he does not to mention he tried to walk up on me all because I accidentally parked in the wrong parking spot to get a oil change. I’ve never been so terrified in my life. I will never deal with Walmart again after this. I should have to worry about the workers physically assaulting me
Poor service. I was there at least 5 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me presence.
Spent 3 hours waiting for a batter change. Had to ask for an update. Didn’t start working on my device until I asked for an update on time. Service workers not communicating on how long. Horrible customer service. Never returning here
Stock inaccurate According to Walmart associatesGreat prices but hard to get correct inventory info
WalmartTechnician CaliSupervisors:Team Lead EricACC JeramyAfter 2 days at Walmart.Tires were said to be dry rot. Tires inside building look worse with dust then mine. Cali lied about dry rot and just wasnt comfortable in his words to mount Tires. Tires were bought through Walmart online. They were just dusty from transit.
Went to get an oil change and they ruined my car. STAY AWAY
They were closing at 6 when I pulled in for two Trailer tires due to an emergency reroute fr ok m My rye style Beach SC to Mobile AL. They took care of me anyway! They didnt cash me out until 645. Thank You WM
Its always something with this location. the customer services is Horrible I will NEVER BUY TIRES from Walmart ever again. The service here is horrible. The auto Care team are not good they will glad have you stand around for hours only to tell you they cant or didnt do a service, no time for the customer to make other plans, this store lacks clear customer communication. My visit here all 3 times have been a complete waste of my time .
Slow workers, extremely poor customer service. No one cared at all.
Refuse to change oil. Because my screw plug on oil pan was rusted. I drive a 10 yr. old Jeep from Ohio.
For the routine service that you are there for, the service is excellent for the price. The front-facing staff is conscientious and responsive. Just be aware that they open at noon on Saturdays.
Very polite and professional. I was in and out in 45 min for my oil change.
I walked in with 1/2 hour left before closing and the employee behind the counter shouted that they were closed and not taking any more cars as I walked in. I hadnt even said a word. I had been stranded on the side of the road with a flat tire and needed only the rim replaced (5 min fix). She refused to even listen to what I needed and insisted that they were already over booked.Thank god one of the mechanics came out and saw me pleading for help- I had nowhere else to go and was about to be forced to leave my car on the side of the road,- and waved the rude employee off saying hed swap it real quick. It took less than 5 minutes. That mechanic went out of his way to really help. I was so grateful. He gets FIVE STARS.
Took hour a tire but did a good job
Good services on that day they were fast
The people is very friendly and the service is very fast great oil change tire rotation
Service is good and they are honest
I like Walmart but know That not it the lines are much longer an they quick to say my line close...an they arrange the shelf we here you cant find what you looking for with the very wrong Prices
Great price for oil change and air filter change. Went at 11am Saturday, car was ready in less than an hour.
Got an oil change and was charged an additional $23.00.I had to drive 30 miles round trip to be refunded. Was a happy camper.
Service great, but wait time way too long. 2 1/2 hrs to get a new battery and no place to sit and wait. They were obviously short-staffed. Great battery warranty, though.
The older lady acts like she hates her job and us very lack luster. They were late opening the door and only had one technician until 12. Dont remember paying so much for one tire at Walmart either. But I got in and out in about 40 mins once they decided to open and picked which customer they were going to help first.
Very unprofessional, rude employees, especially the woman who works the counter. I wouldnt go there if the services were free.
I went here for air in my tire and was serviced quickly. I did not have to wait.
I have not visited Walmart auto care center. Please discontinue sending correspondence
The best part was the gentleman who was super helpful, filled my donut tire with more air, and was a pleasure. He gave me a great experience.
Was a little disappointed they didnt have my tires that I was looking for.
Within one week, I visited this store twice to purchase some tires. On both of my visits, I experienced some of the worst customer service from a lamonte (first visit) and on the second visit I could not get her name. But before I could ask her about my online order she just walk off from the counter and left me standing there. It is so crazy that customers must endure this type of behavior, when there are plenty people out in the world looking for jobs. People who are hard workers, and people who are willing to go the extra mile everyday. Most importantly, I hold the department managers responsible for not pushing the importance of providing excellent customer service to each and every person they come across. Weather it is at the register or just walking pass customers in the store. The cashiers at the register they move in two speeds (slow and stop). It takes too long for a cashier to check-out customers. The cashiers show no signs urgency. And their willingness to be at work which shows with the forever long lines.I gives this visit two stars because of the lady employee who work around back at pick up. She was very pleasure and she offered me suggestions to my situation that made perfect sense.Thank you
Took over 4 hours to get a flat tire fixed. Some people showed up after us and got their vehicles serviced before us for some reason. They don’t take appointments - first come first served, or so they told us.
They dont open until noon. And the manager is very rude.
Called in - incredibly rude
The service is not accurate, the staff wasnt helping, they had one cashier, that greeted people the rest, never even parted words
Pick up is easy breezy you skip the lines which is wonderful
It’s usually people in customer service that act like other people don’t work in customer service and are rude and condescending for no reason. Three hour wait times and attitude.
Went to get tires. The woman told me there were 10 cars in front of me. Fine. I figured I could leave my car with them, and they’d call when it’s ready. Even if it was the next day.No... apparently they don’t do that. Rather than simply say that, the woman instead stared back, not really explaining it. As I tried to tell her I was willing to come back another day, she replied, “no, you have to be here.” And then she continued to stare, I guess waiting for me to leave...?I’ve never been to an auto shop that you couldn’t just leave your car. I thought Walmart would be a simple option for cheap tires, but there’s clearly no attempt to actually provide good service.
Dropped my vehicle off for battery replacement service at 10 am was told my vehicle would be done in an hour. I arrived to Walmart at 2 pm and one of the reps ask which battery did I want. Which what!? The battery I wanted was already discussed at 10 am (meaning my car has just been sitting here) no phone call to ask me again which battery. Just zero respect for people time and car. Please work on the communication and time of service. We trust you guys with our vehicles give us that same respect.
Ive come by three times in the past week. If they have never had a wait time less than three and a half hours. This morning I get here very shortly after they open and the waiting time is already four and a half hours?I enjoy shopping at Walmart. I love the convenience. I bought 4 tires from them... Actually is my second set of tires from them. My point is a big part of their sales pitch is great service. But when you have to wait past of the work day to get that service I dont consider that service all that great. My next set of tires will be purchased from a company that gives me timely great service.
Didnt want to take a tire off claiming it would break the stud.Took it to a tire shop asked them to check the tire the bolts screwed right off. They installed 3 tires and i believe they only had 3 instead of 4.Shame and waste of time to go back after this bs
I love this place its my go to shopping place!
Nobody answers the phone to make an appointment.
Service wait time 3 to 4 hours smh
I wish I would have seen these ratings before coming here. Took 2 hours just to get my car moved out of the parking lot. The work hasn’t even started for my oil change or battery change out. There were not many people here in line for it to take that long. Either they are slow or they don’t have enough people planned to be working to meet demand. And based on the other comments, it appears to be a recurring issue. Maybe they need to hire more people, different people, or change the pay model to commission based and then it will change.
Nice people. Answered all my questions. Problem was easy enough. Turns out they dont carry my size tire..but is working with me to get the job done.
I had a horrible experience. When I arrived at 4pm, I was told they had three hours worth of work to do. Therefore, they agreed to put only one tire on my car because I had a donut on it. They said they close at 6pm and didn’t have enough time to put the rest of them on. A mechanic walked up to me at 5:30 and asked why I only wanted on tire on. I said I didn’t that’s just what I was told. He said oh I guess that because they all wanted to go home. That’s what a wal mart employee said to me. Therefore, they lied about having three hours of work. The manager Jeremy was gone before 6pm. There were no other cars there at 5:40, and no other managers besides the assistant manager that was servicing my car. That also so he would have put all four on if allowed. I tried to talk to customer service, but Jeremy lied and said he had tried to contact me three times to rectify the situation. He has not reached out once. All in all this has been a terrible experience. They also sold my husband a battery for his car that doesn’t even fit his car. They even looked at his car to tell him they couldn’t change his battery, so now that’s another trip back to return the battery. They are clearly lacking 100% in customer service.
Super crowded. Need more staff or a better system. Ive been waiting for over three hours for an oil change and tire rotation though I arrived before it opened.
I went in for an oil change that was supposed to take thirty minutes and came out two hours later and an evening ruined. It must be my fault for not raising a stink, but when someone tells me that they’ll call me when the oil change is finished, I expect them to actually call me. I don’t think the oil change actually took that long, and there wasn’t a wait up front. It was just finding out that my oil change had happened that took the time. Could really use some better customer-facing service.
I had a really great experience with the staff. They were very courteous and professional. I brought in four tires that I needed mounted and it was very close to closing time, and the tire tech was more than willing to take care of it for me. I had previously took my car to the Walmart in Buckhead and they said they wouldnt be able to complete the service because they could not remove the lug nuts. The tire techs at Walmart not only changed my tires with no problem, they explained to me why my tires were wearing down unevenly and how I could get a better performance from my tires. With warm smiles from the front desk staff and the expertise of the tire techs, I will definitely be returning for future service.
It was not ideal. This was my second time in the past two days going there and this young lady with a black bob always seems to have an attitude. Walmart angry employees. The cashiers customer service serms to be better.
Got oil change was extremely long wait time. Receipt stated car was vaccumed front driver was half vaccumed. Tire pressure was marked to be inflated correctly was not. I dont believe it was check. Service was below what I expected. Will try another location.
Everyone here is really nice. Thats really good if your plan is to move at a snails pace. 90 minutes for an oil change and counting. Suggest going almost anywhere else. The only express thing about this place is how quickly you will drive out of here when finally done.
The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The service advisor made me feel very comfortable with the work they were going to perform and even had extensive knowledge on me vehicle.
Employees are sweet but completely oblivious. Make sure to check your bill before you pay as they will just add warranties without asking until your wondering why you paid $600 for $380 worth of tires. Seems no one here truly understands the system they are working with. 3 hours to put 4 tires on 4 rims seems excessive, if the employees are that overworked, Walmart should hire some new people. All said and done, I was taken care of but the price and service was really weak.
I don’t want to generalize and say that all the employees are dismissive, but the gentleman who worked on my vehicles tires was very much so. The job was done adequately, but it was a very negative experience overall.
Thanks to Nina in the pickup department for getting things figured out . Very helpful and great attitude!
I needed an oil change so I arrived at around 4 pm on Saturday - 2 hours before they closed. They turned me away, saying that they werent taking anymore cars for the day. So I came back on Sunday morning at 8:45 and waited outside until they opened at around 9:05. They took my keys and told me theyd call when it was ready. So I walked around the store, getting things that I needed and when an hour had passed with no call, I decided to go back and see if my car was ready. When I got back there the woman at the counter told me that they refused to service my vehicle because the last place that had changed my oil put the cap back on too tight and apparently caused a very small, slow leak. How this makes any sense I do not know. It had admittedly been about 5 months since my last oil change and they told me that I had only lost about a 1/2 quart of oil but that it was against their policy to change it. So they left me wandering around the store for an hour without extending the courtesy to call and let me know this information. So now I have a wasted morning and still no oil change. Awful customer service. Do not waste your time here.
Very arrogant staff. If they dont like you they park your car in a corner and they make you wait 4-5 hours. A few people in the staff are nice but usually, the nice ones dont work there for very long, I guess the rest of the mob give them a hard time. The staff is made up only by Black people, and its my impression that they treat Whites particularly badly.Walmart should fired the actual manager and hire a new one. Someone who is very capable and who makes sure that everyone is treated fearly and with respect.
ATTENTION....Please do not waste your time going to walmart auto centers. I previously purchased all my tires from them including the roadside hazard. After catching a flat I tried to come by the first day but was told the wait would be at least two and half hours but from my previous experience I know that it may actually be three or four hours. So I decided to come bright and early the next day like most would. I arrived at 7:15am, third in line at this point and its now around 7:45am and no one has acknowledged us or asked what we needed help with. Around 8 am they tell us that they only have one auto tech and cant open with less then two workers so we wait. Around 8:20am they tell us that they wont start working on any cars until 9:30am which isnt a guarantee. I took my car to the next closest location which was on Farington road which was an even worse experience. I deff do not recommend and dont believe them when they pressure you to buy the roadside hazard, you dont. its just another way to keep you coming back to them. Take your chances and go somewhere else its worth the extra for your time !I also would like to add, that the assistant manager at this location did offer us all 10% off our next visit, after I complained and asked what they could do to make it right.
Horrible. Arrived at 2:30pm for an oil change and new tires. Agreed on price for the tires and waited for 3.5 hours only to be told they never even had the tires available. Was then told we could get more expensive tires that were in stock BUT unfortunately because it was after 5pm they could not write a new work order. We are suppose to be leaving tonight for a funeral this weekend in Wisconsin but now we will not be leaving until tomorrow when we can have another auto center replace our tires. If you enjoy waiting for 4 hours to be told nothing can be done this is the place for you.On a bright note, Angela is amazing and handled my rather aggressive complaint with upmost care. She is following up with me on todays incident. If only all of the auto personnel were as thorough as her it would be a great place.
We worked at the people there act like they are doing you a favor.
I took my truck for tires, an oil change and a battery. I specifically requested that the transmission fluid be topped off because it was low. The technician didnt know how to put it in (YouTube---HELLO). The truck is rattling because the wheel covers are not on properly. SMH
Great experience being around great people Walmart employees need raises because there great
Fast simple service perfect place for an oil change or tire replacement also light bulb replacement
Installed new tires in under 2 hours. There were people ahead of me as well. Get there early and should not be a problem.
Wish I would have read the reviews before sending my college student here to have her HEADLIGHTS and tire pressure checked! She was quoted a couple hours upon getting there at 8:45a this morning- SHES STILL THERE AS I TYPE THIS REVIEW! [4:45p] They told her, it was grime on her headlights and it needed restoration which they are on the first coat and the second coat would be applied shortly. So damn near 8 hours for this. I PROMISE we will NEVER use this WAL MART again. If you read this review- TAKE HEED- find someplace else to have your car repaired! This is ridiculous and an insult to the paying customer! If you cant do the work in a timely fashion, short staffed, etc. JUST CLOSE!
Not pushy sales people unlike other places and prices are right.
I got an oil change. A week later the tire pressure light went on. I had minimal driving during this time. I went to Goodyear and they said that all 4 tires were really low. So I guess they did an oil change but never checked the tire pressure for what I ordered. You maybe understaffed but so teach job right. This way isnt safe.
Very fast process. Got all of my tires changed and it was quicker than I expected
A 3 hour wait to get your tires rotated and balance.
I waited over 30 minutes OUTSIDE before the auto center was opened LATE! Once I finally got in I was informed that there would be an additional wait because they were no certified technicians there at the time! Staff was very unprofessional and the wait time was absolutely unacceptable!!
😂 Literally went in early (about 7:30am) to get an oil change, they SUPPOSEDLY open at 8am, at least from what the description says when you look them up. Next thing you know, 8am comes and people are getting out of their cars in hopes that their car will be maintainanced, we all see a woman walking by thinking that sooner or later, she will open the door, nope. Come to find out, the sign says they open at 9am. Lol. Which...okay, clear mistake made on the website that needs to be changed immediately, because at least three or four people drove off. But the point of me even writing this review is that I was in dire need of an oil change and thought that if I came early, that I would definitely be in and out of there, but since they opened at 9am, I took my chances with another spot not even 10 minutes away from this Gresham Park location. And it’s called EXPRESS OIL CHANGE, IF YOU ARE READING THIS, THEY OPEN AT 8 AM AND HAVE YOUR OIL CHANGED IN NO MORE THAN 20-30 MINUTES! They were EXTREMELY nice to me and I will definitely never go back to Walmart to get my oil changed ever again 😂 because regardless of whatever time you get there, you will be waiting at least a good 2-3 hours JUST for an oil change and poor customer service. You would be better off getting on I-20 west, and riding out by Moreland (exit 60) and going to Express Oil Change, rather than sit in Walmart waiting on your car to be maintainanced 😂 and my mom was telling me that she went to this Walmart location for a battery change of some sort, and she told me her battery came unloosened as she entered the highway. Never doing business with this auto center again 👋🏽😂😂😂
Horrible service all the employees are very unprofessional and they stay on their phones too much it took them 5hrs to replace and rotate and balance tires...REALLY!! SPOKE TO THE MGR AND THAT WAS NO HELP AT ALL
Got an oil change but they didnt reset my dash board and they are really short staffed so they can use all the help they can get I was there for 2 hours
• They tried to SCAM me. (Attempted to sell me new tires even though my existing tires were under warranty.)• The tech I spoke with said the wait would be 1.5 hours. I waited 4.5• They claimed my tire size wasn’t in stock even though it is the MOST COMMON size of tire.• My new tire is STILL NOT on my vehicle.
So unbelievably slow and incompetent. 4-6 hours for even the most basic service no matter when you get there. Work is sloppy and needs to be checked when you get home.Seriously its not worth the little bit of money you save.If I could give them 0 stars I would
I have been calling the auto center since they opened up and for a hour straight, but no one from the auto center has picked up yet. I keep calling in hope that someone from the auto center would answer so I can get estimate for services I wanted done to my car. So far customer service keeps answering and I keep asking them to transfer me back to the center. Eventually someone will get tired of me and provide me with help, until then Ill keep you up dated 😅👍🏽😭😎.
Listen to the reviews. Dont make my mistake and give it a shot anyway. This place is the antithesis of customer service
Takes them 2 hours to do a simple oil change
I wish I could give this place a 0. Absolute terrible service, extremely slow, and the most laziest crew hands down. Save your money and time by going elsewhere!
I came here yesterday to get a new battery installed. They tried installing two dead brand new batteries. I really laugh at how poorly these techs are trained to do their jobs. They dont even go through their battery inventory to make sure their batteries are even charged. Needless to say they plopped in a half dead battery and was sent on my way. When I got home I checked my engine bay and to charge that battery. NONE of my terminals were locked down and my battery tie down wasnt secured. This is a major hazard. The assistant tech manager offered me a free oil change.. I already had my oil changed a week ago.Word of caution. If you get any service here make sure you double check their work. I doubt any of these guys besides the assistant manager is certified.
Put cheapest tire on for warranty replacement when i had good year originally. 😤
3.5 hour wait for an oil change and they upcharged and didnt tell me until it was time to pay... never again...
So, I have now been here for 7 hours tor swap out 2 tires. TWO TIRES. Do yourself a favor and just don’t.
Problem #1 they said come at 9am....and be the 1st person to get a oil change I come at 9am...and they open at 8am...still no car in the oil change 9am. Car goes in...10:10am. I stand up and complain after watching the person who was suppose to be changing my oil stack tires instead...then they want to know why is it Im standing at the register looking in the back...my reply...counting and waiting for someone to finish my car...they run to the back and say 20 more mins...BIG JOKE...NEVER EVER AGAIN!!! The sad part no apologies...Not even thank you!!! Just here you go...
This Walmart is so ghetto and disrespectful they have an employee by the name of Cheryl she has a bad attitude and the mgrs just walking back and fourth they saying that they are short of help what happened to Nedrick they call Im Rick and Corey I really hate Walmart now its gonna loose a lot of customers I wish I knew where they were now.Loose good help and get no good helpit is hard to find
Worst Walmart ever!! Unprofessional staff long wait hours on purpose nasty attitude. And mana gets are no better do not waste your time or money here!!
Horrible customer service. Use being under staffed why THEY tell people 2 hours and then be all day and have me jumping through hoops to find a way to work. They even called and up changed me $32 and the mechanic belittle me bc I addressed it.
Good service done quick at a reasonable price
This is the worst location I’ve ever been to . I’ve been here for 3 hours waiting for my car on a simple oil change
Will apparently lie to you to avoid giving you service. I was told they couldnt balance my tire because my lug nuts were seized. I took them off in the parking lot with a wrench by hand. Avoid!
Clean, stocked and organized. Cant ask for much more from Walmart
I arrived before they opened at 7:55am I was the fifth person in line. I seen all types of people come & go that arrived after me. Everytime I went to the counter I was told its not ready. It wasnt completed until 11:56am, they have extremely long wait times.
Bought the tires online, then checked-in by 11 am to have them installed. 7 hours later, my vehicle is still where I left it - still on the old tires!
Yoyng lady acted as if i was a bother to her conversation with another sales associate. My questions as a customer were trivial by her actions.
Terrible location..arrived before store opened for an oil change, I get in line 3rd car at 8:30am.. 920am doors are still locked. Once doors do open at 9:30 it was another 15 minute wait just for an associate to come to the register. When I got to the register (3rd car inline) I was told not only do they not have dexco oil it would also be a 2hour wait.
This particular location only has one mechanic/auto technician employed here. Oil Changes could take up to 3 hours.
If you value your free time on the weekend then find somewhere else to get your oil changedI have never written a negative review about anything, I simply dont want other people to have to waste their time
I give the service manager a 5 star he was absolutely great the auto cashier/ administrators were inattentive and dismissive.
