Part was correct, but incomplete. Took 2-weeks to receive. Called on phone and the do not have the required mounting clips. Did give the part#s so I could order separately, so another 2-weeks. Parts for this vw beetle diesel were overpriced, took to long to receive, and were incomplete.

After an exhausting search for a transmission cooler seal for my sons 2007 Beetle 2.5L, I came across the part in stock and available online here. Got there Vw cc had a recall on the frontier airbag driver side, but I also requested for a tire balance on my vehicle, the service advisor Jeff Schwaeber inform me they would have to charge for a full diagnostic which was fine, so mind you Ive requested for a tire balance, he informed me that my tires were worn in the front to complete the balance, mind you Ive been there a couple of hours which I didnt have a problem with, but I actually end up going to solo motor sports which are very knowledgeable and informed me that they could of done a balance and the tires werent worn just needed to be rotated and balanced, please know the dealership is always out to get your money so I end of paying $140 bucks that I could of spent getting an balance somewhere else .... overall i think it could of been a good experience if he could of gave me an better solution and done what I requested.

When I need parts for my VW, I usually check online first since the local dealer is expensive. Most of the time one of VW specialty parts sites has the best price/shipping combination, but not always. I have purchased from Jim Ellis several times and it’s always the correct part at a good price. Shipping is fast even though I’m located in New England so I’ve added them to my list of dependable regular parts dealers.

Best parts, best prices, best online parts diagrams. Sensors, relays, and parts that are diagnosable by the ecm, often need to be genuine vw parts because they are calibrated very precisely. I have found, through experience, that aftermarket parts of this category simply don’t work. I very grateful to Jim Ellis VW parts online.

I ordered a few (3 to be exact) parts for my 2004 VW Jetta. Two of the parts were gaskets (O-ring type) and the other was a piece from the turbo to the intercooler. Their website say that it takes them 24-48 to fill an order. For some strange reason it took almost a week to fill the order to ship the parts. Why it takes more than 24 hours for any part to be shipped I have no idea but highly doubtful Ill but from this dealership again. The only reason that 24 hours shipping time wouldnt be met would be that they dont have the part in stock. Then a prompt email to that customer should be sent to explain the delay. When I ordered other parts days after I had ordered these from California and those parts came in quicker. Im sure that there is a VW dealership that knows what customer service means and upholds it. Just ridiculous.

The release button on my emergency brake lever broke off. Searching online with several online resources resulted in conflicting information on which part actually worked on my 2011 Jetta. I finally looked at the part with Jim Ellis VW and added it to my shopping cart. Within a few hours, I got a response from the parts manager that the part may not be correct for my year and VIN number. So the parts manager did some research for me and a part was recommended which I purchased. But after even further cross checking, the parts manager reconsidered and notified me that there was an even better solution available.Im happy the parts manager was thorough enough to dig deeply into my required parts replacement. Otherwise I would have received the wrong part, return that part, and deal with the growing frustration of receiving a part that wasnt correct. I appreciate the thorough detail and lengths at which the parts managers at Jim Ellis VW went through to ensure I was not spending more than I needed and that I got the right part for my car.
