Honesty and Integrity! I went in because my car was shaking once I reached over 45mph. In my head, I thought I needed in alignment. When I visited, I explained what happened, he asked me a few questions, and immediatly knew the solution. After a heavy snow fall, snow can enter the wheel and cause an unbalance which leads to your car shaking. This business could have easily told me something else and charged me whatever price to get it fix; but he was honest and fair.This has happened to myself and other people in the past and other business, like the big names and even small shops around the area, easily charge you over $100, just to wipe the snow out of the rims.I recommend visiting this business and its people because they actually want to help and they will get you the best price in the area. Met Mohammed Zakholi here, he mentioned it was his shop. I was buying a used car of of him. Said it had new brakes and struts. Mentioned more new stuff also. Took to shop for tires and brakes were almost non existent and all shocks are leaking. Could only imagine all the other new stuff mentioned was a lie. Drive a hour to pick the 2011 chrysler 200 up. Expected honesty but did not get it.

I went there thinking I needed a new head gasket. Cause I had milkyness under my oil cap. Let me know I didn’t have any major issues but needed a new fuel injector and use thicker oil. This review is LONG OVERDUE. I absolutely enjoyed my service here. In August 2019 I came thinking that I only needed my driver side brake pads fixed and it turned out that I needed both the driver side and passenger side replaced. Because I am a student Jamal (the owner/mechanic) was very kind enough to provide me with a great affordable deal. In addition, I also needed an oil change and although I didnt come there for one, he was kind enough to give me one for no charge for my safety since I had a far drive to get home. The best part about my experience was that I had came right after taking my final exam for my Organic Chemistry 2 summer class. With this being said, I hadnt eaten all day and I was exhausted. The owner noticed and allowed me to relax and stay cool while watching Netflix. He even offered me water and food so that I could stay hydrated and nourished during that hot August summer day. (The food was very good by the way!) He was kind, respectful, funny, and unlike many mechanics he was very honest. He treated me as though I was his daughter. Both he and his son are some of the friendliest people Ive ever met and it is easy to see that they truly care for their customers. Not only was his service affordable, but it was also very good. I have not had any other problems with my brakes. He was recommended to me by a close friend of mine and since August I have been recommending him to my friends as well. I will definitely be coming back for both his services and to show my appreciation for his kindness and hospitality. Thank you again Jamal!

I highly recommend this place. They are very friendly, but most importantly for mechanics, they are honest. After inspecting the car, they show you exactly what they find and whether it is an immediate concern or something to think about in another few months.Ive had tie rods and wheel bearings replaced here and they did good, fast work both times, even staying a little late to finish the former.Since they do not do exhaust work, they also gave me an excellent recommendation for where to get that done as well.All around, an excellent place to get your car fixed and a pleasure to do business with. They are definitely my new go-to place for car repairs.

Alignments Plus is a respectable trustworthy establishment in the Ann Arbor / Ypsilanti area. I have never encountered such excellent customer service and detailed attention to customer needs in my life, especially when it comes to my car. We all know that living in Michigan (Winter, Spring, Summer, or Fall), you absolutely need your car, and you NEED to know the estimated time it will be ready! When my cars tire blew out, and the ball joint broke among other issues, I took it to Alignments Plus on recommendation from Discount Tire. When I called Stephanie, she listened to my issue, and told me they would take care of it. They were super busy, and told me when the car would be ready, and kept good on their promise. I absolutely appreciate that. My car had issues from a previous mechanic, and Errol, the owner stayed late working on these issues that he wasnt even responsible for. You cannot find this type of service just anywhere, and I was told that they opened up on Saturday just for a few customers (one of those customers was me), so that they could finish our cars and return them before the weekend was over, since they were closed on weekends. I took my car in on Friday, and it was finished by Saturday morning. I was so impressed, that I have returned again for other issues, and tell my friends and co-workers about this place. I always contact Alignments Plus first to see if my car repair is something that they handle. All of the staff are nice, and experts at their craft. They are honest, and care about the community in which they serve. This shows in how they treat their customer because they care about your safety and respect your time!

Obtained amazing customer service! Was given consideration to my financial circumstances starting when location was under previous ownership. The current owner applied this awesome experience while still referring to this business for alignment, wheel bearings, struts, ball joint, sway bar, and other services needed. Alignment Plus helped me out every single time I needed them, we gained a professional bond eventually. Services and care have been highly appreciated over the years. Took my car in for just an alignment, or so I thought. These guys were fantastic and put in extra time and effort to diagnose and fix some other suspension issues. They were very honest, explained clearly and went way above and beyond, and all at a rediculously fair price for what I got. I have some mechanical knowledge, so I trust what they told me!

Worst workshop Ive ever been to. It is not about how I was treated. I was treated well, the mechanic was nice to me. However, he was trying to trick to spend money I was not supposed to spend. My car needed alignment, and it was just bought from dealer a month ago, only three years old (2015). The mechanic lifted the car on a machine and pretended to pull front two tires left to right, and said if the car drifted left. Apparently he was wrong, and my car drifted right on a straight road. And then he said the ball joints were bad and unless they were replaced, the alignment could not be done. And also he checked the brakes, warned me it was very urgent to replace them immediately. Eventually, he gave me a list of cost, and it added up to almost over 700$! I felt like he could not be trusted, and I am not a fool, I would not just listen to one mechanics opinions. I only went there because of good reviews, but now I really doubt its truthfulness. Afterwards, I went to Firestone, and I was told the brakes were fine, still 7 mm to go on the rotor, and they did the alignment in 2 hours (I dropped the car there). Now everything is doing fine with my car. Seriously this shop cannot be trusted. I never wrote a review before, but this time I am so pissed, so I decide to write this review. I hope zero stars for this shop.

Went in thinking I could get a quick alignment a couple days before leaving on a road trip. Turned out I needed a lot more work than I thought. These guys bent over backwards not only to save me money on the parts I needed, but also to get me back on the road before my trip.

Had issues with my vehicle from a previous auto shop and was then referred to Alignment Plus and Chad was very helpful and actually reached out to the prior shop for me and had them fix my issues free of charge. He very easily could have charged me and taken on my vehicle himself but was honest and very helpful to see that my issues were corrected. I will be going there for future work!

Great little shop. The owner is very friendly and will work with you on prices, will even let you bring in your own parts. The shop is small, looks like its only a 3 car garage but was able to get the work done. Came in because I could get a bolt off myself from a bump stop and I was concerned because it was near the gas tank and some brake lines. Took it hear as all the other place refused to put on my own part. When here, walked in, the mechanic, which I think his name is Joe, didnt say no, told me to pull my truck right in. He offered me a snack, was very professional and friendly. When I went to pay, I asked him whats the cost, he said whatever you think is fair, first time I ever heard that from a mechanic. I asked him what he charges per mechanic hour, said it was $85 I believe, and since it was about and hour, I said let make it $85, he said no, $50 sounds better. As I usually work on my cars myself, I probably wont make it back there all that soon, but I know where I am going if its something I cant do myself.

I took my sons truck in for repair. It was a bigger project than we realized. The mechanic took care of the job at the quoted price although it took more time than originally planned. Great work, did what it took to get the job done, very good to deal with. I definitely recommend Alignments Plus for automotive specialized work and repairs.

I have a good mechanic but suspensions are not his strength. After I got some major work done I brought the van to them. They showed me why they could not give me an alignment. Two parts needed replacing.After these parts were replaced, I brought it in and they caught were my mechanic made some mistakes and fixed it for a reasonable price.

I spent all of 20 minutes in this building, during which the man running the place ( a middle aged white gentleman, no one gave me their names, interestingly enough ) followed me to my vehicle to reiterate that I would be unhappy with their service if I just allowed to do the alignment. Instead, they wanted to test drive my vehicle, then come back to let me know if it passed inspection. If it did, they would do the alignment. If it didnt, theyd give me a quote for repairs. Then, if I chose to NOT do the repairs there, theyd charge me $50 for the inspection test drive! When I told them this seemed like a racket, they offered to waive the fee. When they brought her in and put her up, I was called over to look at how bad my car was -- she needed new EVERYTHING, including the tires that were JUST put on my vehicle from Discount Tire, who had recommended that I come to this place. I was looking at a complete replacement of the entirety of my vehicles underside! And I was informed I would be really disappointed if I didnt let them take care of all of it before they did the alignment.I told them to take my vehicle down and I would get another quote elsewhere, and I was immediately treated like I was acting hysterical, including a very patronizing, well I need the keys to drive your vehicle out for you, dont I? when I asked to confirm that they still had my keys ( because I honestly wasnt sure if they were going to let me leave. )During the entire visit, the man kept asking why I didnt have the money for the repairs they insisted I needed, asking why my job didnt pay me enough, when I would have the money, if someone else could afford the full bill for me. It was, frankly, one of the most ridiculous, patronizing experiences Ive ever had.Dont go here. Its not worth it.

I went here for an alignment and they told me my car had 2 bad ball joints and quoted me at $450. I was suspicious so I declined repairs and took my car to a different mechanic. He confirmed that there was nothing wrong with either ball joint. This shop brings you in the door with their low alignment price and then makes its money by scamming you with a fake repair bill. Stay away from this shop, they are cons.

Heard grinding sounds from me breaks on a Friday afternoon, so started calling places to get them checked. I had a trip planned for Saturday, so really needed to get help. I called several places and NOONE would even look at my car until Monday, except them. Errol, the owner, said bring it in and well get you taken care of, and he did. Great customer service. Very friendly, but was quoted 1,200 in repairs just for my rear. 90% of the charge was for labor. Found parts cheaper then what they had quoted that came with everything included. Found a mechanic who did it for a fraction of the price I was quoted.

I like to work on cars, and I tried to diagnose and fix our Honda Accord. However, after three attempts to unsuccessfully fix it, I took it to Chad at AlignmenPlus, and he found the problem quickly, and fixed it at a reasonable price. I recommend his shop.
