I took my vehicle in because of the positive reviews and am glad that I did. My vehicle was making a noise that was difficult to find the root cause. It took several tries. I very much appreciate that Mike was relentless in getting to the bottom of the problem in a generous but fair manner. They eventually solved the problem. I was struck by their hard work, honesty and integrity. I heartily recommend them!!! Very good people.

At first my alignment wasn’t done correctly. I called back and they offered me a refund or the opportunity to fix it, I chose for them to fix it. My car is driving perfectly now! I really appreciate good customer service and this business is a good example of that. If something isn’t right, they will do what it takes to make the customer happy.

I went there several times. Today (8/17/21), I got same professional and friendly employees there. They repaired my car within two hours. It seems little pricy however I’m glad that they completed the job on same day. I would recommend MR Muffler

Best experience dealing with car repairs by far. I took my car to a local dealership and they quoted me over $5k worth of repairs. I immediately called mr muffler because of a recommendation and Mike was able to repair my vehicle for less than half the cost of what the dealership quoted me. And the work was done within the same day! He even gave me a discount for working at u of m. A few weeks after the repairs, another part of my car needed to be repaired. I couldn’t get it towed to mr muffler because of the distance but I called mike after I got the repair done at another shop and he offered to help me out with a free pre purchase inspection since he knew I was looking for another car. If you really want to go somewhere where they care about not only your car but you as well, go here! You will have no regrets. I live about 30 minutes away but continue to bring my cars here.

Absolutely amazing! We brought my sons car in to be looked at and ended up needing a big project. I figured we would have to schedule to come back, nope!! We were there for less than an hour and a half!! Great prices too! He beat out other quotes I had .They fixed everything, explained it all and even showed me the new pieces. And we got an oil change too!Best experience in a shop!

Took my 2020 challenger sxt there to get a driver side exhaust put on, so 9 feet. It was a stright pipe so they didnt have to do extra welding and cutting. Cost $300 and they took 2 factory bolts for the exhaust and put a freaking stud where one bolt went withba washer and a nut then didnt even bother to put the 2nd hanger on that went by the bumper. So I paid $300 for parts to be stolen and not put back on correctly. Also they didnt even make it even so it was aimed down some compared to the side I did that was level and almost no gap from the bumper

I recently had took my 2009 malibu in to get some exhaust work done as it had gotten loud and was pumping exhaust fumes into the passenger cabin. When I took it in, they quickly put it up on a lift and inspected it and told me the problem and cost (parts/labor/tax) within 10 minutes. They then took me back to point out the problem and another soon to be problem and gave me the option to fix both. Once they fixed the two problems, they discovered another issue near the rear of the car which had been hidden due to the noise of the first. They were able to fix this and didnt even charge the labor cost on it. The works was done quickly and so far has held up great. I would highly recommend this shop for the prompt service, honesty and the friendliness of the staff. They even offered me a ride home since it was going to take a several hours to repairs.

Needed a new muffler and whatnot and I came pretty close to closing time. I thought I’d have to leave it overnight but they fixed it in about 30 minutes! I have an older car that I don’t want to put too much money into since I’m worried it won’t last much longer and I’m just trying to get through school, so I appreciated getting a few options to choose from. It was nice that he showed me the before and after as well! Helped me learn a little bit more about cars 😅 He was very nice and professional!

I first took my car to Mr. Muffler back in February after my car slid on some snow. They were super quick (same day!) and gave me a fair price. They also were able to identify some other issues and fix them in the same appointment.Most recently I took my car back to them to have my turn signal and brake light fixed, not only were they able to get it done same day, but when I called to ask if they would also change the oil for me while they were at it, it was no problem, and I had my car back within a couple of hours. They are aways accommodating and kind, and should I need anything else done, I will be returning no question.

I got my exhaust replaced on my truck here. Everyone was very nice. They got the job done in a couple hours and I was on my way. I havent had any issues or leaks. Overall I recommend this shop.

Ive been here twice now, muffler repair was quick and not expensive. I had another issue where my car wouldnt start at all and they fixed it at a very fair price. So again, fair prices and Mike is really nice. Me and my Dad, Oliver both recommend this place!

I have had two experiences at Mr Muffler - one positive, and one negative. On the positive they repaired my exhaust (somehow got bent and was rubbing/squeaking against the leaf springs) for what I thought was a fair price.Brought it back for my tail lights and trailer tail lights not working (website says they do electrical work). They called and said it was repaired/fixed and when I tested before I left I noticed that only the regular tail lights were fixed not the trailer lights. I assumed when I paid and picked it up the 4 lights would all be working but when I went to use them I discovered they had only repaired the tail lights :( I brought it to the service desk persons attention and they said I would have to leave it for longer/more $$$ :(((((They charged me $300 to fix 2 out of 4 non working lights. If all 4 lights worked I would have 0 complaints but I mean come on, you only got it half working. They also left it for me to discover myself out and did not tell me outright they could not/did not fix the other two lights. I should state I left it with them WITH trailer lights plugged in. Pretty meh experience. Initially I found out they werent working by way of the police pulling me over, so if I decided to pull a trailer without checking it could have happened again. Lame.

We brought our Toyota Corolla in for front brakes after driving out from California. We had no idea where we could find a reputable repair shop. We were very happy to meet Mike and Joe who explained everything, we’re very friendly, and did a great job very quickly. Awesome work. I had to get a new catalytic converter and two years later i walked back in because the casing was making a rattling noise, he recognized me at first sight. Fixed it with no problem. Mike is wonderful!

Great place. The guys were professional and nice enough to take me before they closed. They fixed my exhaust and headlight mirror that had a shortage. Other places were telling me $200 plus dollars, but the guys at Mr. Muffler quoted me $75 then later just added the service as a courtesy since I was having other more major work done.

I came here for suspension issues...or so I thought. It took no time for him to look at my car and there was actually nothing wrong. Also he didnt charge means I appreciate the honesty because Ive been taken advantage of from mechanics being a women. I wouldve just went with anything for the safety of my precious cargo ( my 2 little ones).he couldve said anything was wrong but he showed me all the parts and said I was safe to drive. I didnt catch his name...I just know he had dark hair and olive skin. Definitely will go to again!!!

Mike is a super nice, & HONEST Mechanic which is very hard to come by in my opinion. My daughters Honda Accord recently had some major work done, both upper control arms, both CV joints & the right front axle all had to be replaced. Not only did he give us a more than fair price, he also threw in an oil change, complete engine flush, tire rotation, front end alignment, air filter, & windshield wipers for NO COST. The parts are NAME BRAND & carry a lifetime warranty; so not only was is a GREAT PRICE TO REPAIR THE VEHICLE, IT WAS HIGH QUALITY PARTS AS WELL. I & my entire family will continue to be loyal customers of Mr. Muffler for ALL of our vehicles needs both minor & major. Avoid this place at all costs. They will over charge you like crazy, they even tried to raise the price more after the initial estimate. If I wouldn’t have been in a time constraint I would have gone somewhere else. Service is bad and employees rude. I took them some parts and they did not help me unload them (they just stared), once they took possession they just tossed them. I also asked them if they could help me unbolt a part and the employee rolled his eyes (took him 5 sec with an impact gun). Stay away from this business.

I couldnt be more happy with this company. I had work done on my car at Mr. Muffler in summer of 2018 after an accident. I then had an issue with my car that wasnt related to the accident and was covered under my warranty. Ford was working on fixing the issue but needed to replace two pieces that Mr. Muffler initially used. I was being jerked around by my insurance company and Mr. Muffler didnt want to make the process any harder for me, so they took care of the cost of the two parts for me. I couldnt be more thankful for Mike and his support during this frustrating time with Progressive insurance. I would recommend Mr. Muffler to anyone and everyone who needs help in the Ypsilanti / Ann Arbor area. Thank you again!

If you looking for a quick job, this is where you go.If you care about your car, avoid it like plague. Most horrible weld I have ever seen, broke a o2 sensor when install, they only do the time save way. Car have exhaust leak after a fresh installation of a brand new exhaust system.

I brought my mercury mariner this afternoon coz i thought i had a bad cv axle joint. 1 hour later they called me back and said they finished it but the reason for the noise under the car wasnt the cv axle but it was a transfer case. They said they misdiagnosed. I feel bad coz they already installed the axle. I thought i was gonna pay for it but they threw it for free. These guys are really great! The other guy was really good too! (Forgot to ask his name).You guys should come here! I know i will. Today they earned my loyalty as a customer!

Please remember that before you write a bad review.Some lady on here was complaining how her estimate was $50 higher here that at her dealership. What she FAILED to mention was she was asking for her a different service! She was asking for her rotors to be sanded down not replaced. Which is over a $200 price difference. Mike GRACIOUSLY offered to do her breaks for FREE because of the miscommunication. Even though she is the one who miscommunicated. FREE FOLKS FREE! This lady still wrote a bad review!!If something didnt go as planned, different price, then ask Mike or Joe to explain it instead of tarnishing two good mens reputation because your not mature enough, and too privileged to just simple talk to someone.
