Brought my car to Gene Butman Ford Collision Center for repairs after getting in a minor accident. Im not from the area originally but my insurance recommended them. Blair from the Collision Center was very helpful, kind, and reassuring throughout the entire process. The estimate I was given for repairs (~2 weeks) was spot on, too! Overall, I was very pleased with the service.

11/10 would recommend! After my car was totaled, we were on the hunt for a replacement. We visited THREE other Ford dealers in the area and not one of them seemed to want our business. At Gene Butman they treated us like part of the family through every step. Three different people greeted us when we walked in the door before we even met our sales specialist Kevin Williams, and while going through paperwork for my new Bronco Sport, it felt like every single person stopped by to congratulate us on our purchase including the GM and Owner. Most professional, and most importantly friendly dealership in the area. I won’t take my business anywhere else.

I decided to order a new Bronco sport early July. I started out driving to different dealerships, only to find them closed on Saturday. I then started calling until I found one open. We bought our used 2017 Ford Explorer from Butman Ford and had a great experience. The vehicle was spotless and we have had no problems with it so far. The sales people are not pushy and are really there to help you get the car you want. We were at the dealership for quite a long time and test drove a bunch of other vehicles and not once did we see any sort of frustration by the sales person. We will be buying more vehicles from Butman in the future. Also, they have amazing car detailing services, tire sales, and a top notch service department that we have used for all of our vehicles.

I had an unfortunate experience with Dan, the used car salesman. I went in with a Kelly blue book instant cash offer and after starting off with a well-rehearsed “I’ve got good news for ya. I’ll buy your car”, started off on a tangent involving classic car salesman tactics. My original offer had expired a few days ago, so I offered to apply for a new quote. Right off, he tensed up, as he knew the offer would remain within the same range. When I got the updated offer, he refused to acknowledge it (“it’s not popping up at my boss’s end”). When I offered the order number, he was curt and rude in response, especially after it was clear that he was making up most of the details about how kelly blue book’s instant cash offer service works. Luckily, I decided to walk out, and got an offer almost 800 dollars more than what Dan had to offer, at Cueter Chrysler Dodge Ram dealership down the road.

I was hit by a sweet old lady in a parking lot. Her car sustained damage, but it *appeared* mine did not, other than slight paint scratches. Someone in the parking lot who’d heard all my honking to get the lady to stop said, “get to Gene Butman Ford’s body shop right away and see if there is more damage, like to your struts”. I made a call and Ace, the Body Shop Manager, assured me I could bring it by any time and they’d look at it. I immediately drove over, and true to his word, with no appointment, Ace came out and did a quick look-see, opened the door to make sure the fit was still good, and then took it a step further and brought out Compound to see if the scrapes could be wiped off. Talk about over and above the norm for fabulous service! Ace really lives Butman Ford’s Mission Statement and embodies their Corporate Culture Statement. This feels important to me because you buy the car only once but you may see the service, parts, and body shop more than once during the life of your car. Thank you, Ace!!

I was at this dealership today from 1:30-4:30 today and maybe talked to the guy I had an appointment with for 20 minutes total? After the test drive, he ghosted me for 20-25 minutes chunks of time in between speaking with me, even though I scheduled an appointment with him. Very nice guy, and he was busy Im sure, but it was way too much waiting. I really liked the car though and wanted a breakdown of the costs. There was a bizarre package of fees that couldnt be optional (DNA trace, door edge guard, wheel locks) totaling about a $500 extras tagged onto the price. So, this price is not added the the car price on the window, but Im also not able to opt out of purchasing? To be honest, I wouldve been more into making the finance work for this vehicle if wasnt ignored for the numerous long periods of time. I get that its sometimes a sales tactic, but after all the waiting, I just wanted to leave. On top of everything, most employees were not wearing masks and there were several people walking around in there talking like there isnt a global pandemic happening. It made me feel really uncomfortable, so I waited in the cold outdoor entrance for the hours I was there - how would people there think I was comfortable hanging out in the small lobby with employees walking around and talking without masks on..? When I got home, I called a few other Ford places and already found the escape I want with the more appropriate $1k add on of taxes/fees/add ons instead of the $1.7k added to the price today. I dont mean to be rude, and I rarely leave these reviews, but get it together guys, customer service matters..

Very shady dealership, will take deposits on cars and then sell them out from underneath you for a little extra profit after having an agreement. Short term gain longer term loss, they are not good business people and an embarrassment to Ford Motor Company.

The airbags on my car were recalled and needed to be replaced. I was able to schedule the service to be performed within a few days after my initial call. Due to my line of work, I need a vehicle. Gene Butman Ford was able to keep me rolling 🙂 so my business was able to continue uninterrupted. Upon picking up my vehicle, I was promptly greeted with a smile by helpful staff, and had a smooth transition. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs their recall airbag replaced!

Used car salesman marcus was lieing to use the second I called ran our credit got our hopes up with two trade ins we drove almost an hour to look at a 4 door silverado after the test drive told us we needed another 4 grand down nothing was told to us about this before we got there, all they want is to get you in the door and not help so much for being a dealership

The only ford dealership I’ve a had a positive experience with having to get service done at. They did an amazing job. Had to come back to replace the clutch on my awful focus for the 3rd time and decided to make the drive to Gene Butman. They took 1 day. Dropped it off Tuesday, picked up Wednesday. The last two ford dealers I went to took 2 weeks the first time and 2 months the second. Dominic is a great guy to work with. Highly recommend Gene Butman Ford!
