I had heard good things about Stony Creek and reached out to them. Bobby, owner of Stony Creek, was fantastic in walking me through the process. He made it so easy! The best part was I clearly understood what was wrong and the timing of the repairs. He accommodated my timing for the drop off, which I really appreciated. They had repaired my car quickly and did everything they said they were going to do. I am so happy that I took my car to Stony Creek Collision! The service, workmanship, and experience of the Stony Creek staff is unmatched. I took my 328i in for body repair recently and the repair was flawless. When I purchased my first BMW in Ann Arbor the service staff referred Stony Creek for body work. I have taken all four of my bimmers to SC for minor dings to a deer incident. From 2009 until I recently had my 328i in (April 2019), Stony Creek is the only place I will take my vehicles.

Unparalleled level of quality of work - esp w/Toyota family of vehicles. Sometimes have issues with timeliness, but their quality of work is far and above any other collision repair shop. It more than compensates for any delay there might be in repair. This is also typically due to unexpected delay getting parts for the job.

I was sent here by the Subaru dealer and was happy to find that they have extensive experience with Subarus.This place is the best for collision repair. They are meticulous in making sure they do the full repair, including only OEM parts, color blending, etc. After receiving the estimate from Stony Creek I found that the other shops in AA had missed important pieces of the repair in their estimates.Craig was helpful and straightforward through the process, and gave me great advice on dealing with the insurance coverage. The repair was completed on time and looked fantastic.

Ive had a couple of damaged cars fixed by Stoney Creek over the last 20 years or so and they did great work. The painting was excellent as was the fitment of the repaired parts.

My BMW M3 was damaged recently and, being new to the area, I was not familiar with any of the local shops. As a car enthusiast, I take quality of work very serious and would consider myself to be anal when it comes to my car. The car went in with damage to the passenger quarter panel and came out looking as good as it did the day I bought it. Ill definitely be back to get some additional work from a small business owner that clearly knows what he is doing.

I needed some body work and paint on my Lincoln MKX with an unusual color. It took them a week, the repair is not noticable. Also, they returned my vehicle clean both outside and inside. I am very happy with the result.

Took our 2010 Volkswagen Sportwagen here for a door repair. They were very flexible as far as when we could drop the car off and pick it up (we had a repair over the holiday break), and they did an amazing job.Dealers send their cars here to get repaired and the wall in the shop is filled with letters from years of satisfied BMW/Audi/Porsche owners (and other brands).I will be a repeat customer when I am unlucky and need a repair.

Stony Creek Collision is a genuinely good business, no BS, no cutting corners. The owner Craig and his guys are professional and do a great job. Although Progressive insurance will only approve refurbished parts, Stony Creek uses nothing less than OEM parts. I didnt see any extra cost because of this, they either worked it out with Progressive or ate the cost. Almost $7000 in parts and labor and I only had to pay the $500 deductible, my rate didnt change either. My only complaint is that my car just sat there for a couple weeks waiting for parts to come in and they didnt tell me, during this time I had to share a car which made our lives pretty hectic.

I cannot express enough how pleased I am with this shop. It all began more than 15 years ago when I took my car in for body repair following a slight mishap with a pole in my blind spot. Would you believe that my final payment due was LESS than what I was quoted?!?!? Apparently the part came painted so the cost of painting was taken back off the estimate. There is no way I would have known that part came painted if it werent for the upstanding ethics of the owner Craig being honest and divulging this to me. That right there sold me on this shop for all my future needs, (all the while I was hoping to not need any more of his services because it is less than favorable reasons that bring you there for their services). Throughout the years, the little door dings or cart gouges has brought me back and they have fixed me up on the spot and sent me on my way as if nothing had ever happened to lead me there in the first place. A few weeks ago, someone hit my front bumper as I was parked in a structure (leaving no note, of course). I was about to be out of town for a wedding so I stopped in to Stoney Creek Collision to see what they had to say about it. They were able to accommodate my time frame without hesitation. I dropped my key fob in the drop box on Sunday before my flight and picked it up the next day aftery return. Not only was the bumper perfectly repaired, the cost of the repair reasonable and fair, but my car was showroom clean, both inside and out. What a nice treat that was! Every person there at the shop is a pleasure to deal with. I feel like I got the deal of the century every time I step into Stoney Creek Collision. I had taken my car to two other reputable shops in Ann Arbor for a minor hood repair for my Cadillac. The first shop the guy came out and gave me a ridiculous price then proceeded to ask me if I was interested in selling my car which I found to be appalling, I was agasp! The second shop provided a lower price but was not sure and couldn’t guarantee how long the repair would last nor could he say with confidence the repairs would look professionally done. I walked away totally shocked by my interaction with both. I don’t want to impugn the reputations of the other shops, though badly I would like to mention their name; used to be very reputable, but sense have fallen from grace.I found Stony Creek Collision in the directory and gave them a call. I spoke with Craig who was absolutely phenomenal throughout my entire experience! Craig came out to my house to view the damage, the very day I called. I informed him over the phone it was just a minor repair, he accepted the request with credibility. When he arrived at my house, without hesitation he knew exactly what needed to be done. He was upfront and gave me an honest assessment of the damage and price of the repair. With confidence, he assured me the job would be done with great care to detail.Craig is very professional, knowledgeable, honest, affordable, and dependable. I took my vehicle out to the shop the following morning. Upon my return I was absolutely amazed at the work! I could not believe how good my vehicle looked. The price was even lower than what he originally quoted. I cannot make enough favorably remarks about this guy & this shop. … Just UNBELIABLE! Mall blemishes, deer hits, rust repair, minor and major collision work… Over the years I have brought Stony Creek 14 jobs (at last count) for my family members or me. I have always been very happy with the quality of the work and my dealings with the owner, Craig Layson.Frankly, I dont take my cars anywhere else to get quotes anymore (as I have learned that if they appear to be cheaper, they are not doing the job to the same standard). I dont let my insurance company twist my arm into taking my car to their preferred shops (so that they can quietly cut corners to save them money but charge me the same deductible). I want a quality job, so I bring them to Stony Creek. He deals with the insurance company, he never uses second-rate parts, he stands behind his work. I couldn’t ask for more.I would rate Stony Creek Collision a 6 out of 5 if I could.

The work is OK, but they have major problems in the customer relation department. I was asked to bring my $1000 deductible in cash in order to take my car out - it was end of December. Never ever going there again.
