Very friendly and speedy service I had brought my bmw in on gaskets needing replaced and El haj told me that it wasn’t the issue that it was something else. You could tell his concern for getting the car done right. Many people travel here from all over the state and other states even and now I see why. We have been customers of Maurice and Bavarian Automotive for more than 20 years. He continues to provide the best customer service I have ever experienced. In that time, I have owned 5 different BMWs and he has cared for all of them. Each time scheduled maintenance or an unscheduled repair has been performed, Maurice has driven the car to insure that it meets his standard. In 2015 when deciding on our most recent auto purchase, we chose another BMW because we have such confidence in the integrity and care exhibited by the entire staff.

These guys are fabulous. They know their BMWs. Maurice the owner was on top of the whole process. Needed a new timing chain. That work was accomplished plus replaces all the seals. My 2000 740 IL runs like a new car. Thanks guys! Zach and Karen.

A great shop that truly cares about their customers and treats them with dignity and honesty. When they found additional faults with my X5, Maurice took the time along with his mechanic to show them to me. The care and patience he took in explaining everything made me feel like a valued customer. Most shops take advantage of their customer and nickel and dime everyone but I never felt that was the case with Bavarian automotive. Only issue I had was making an online appointment. I never received a confirmation email or even a call. I had to reach out to them to confirmed, wich I feel should not happen. With that said, I think they are just busy and may have made a mistake. I will be going back for all future maintenance. Maurice is one of the most knowledgeable and professional BMW techs around. I had a strange problem that I could not figure out and Maurice had no problem finding it and fixing it. Whether it’s regular maintenance or replacing transistors in a control module, he and his team can do it. The team is incredibly professional and the staff at the front desk are always polite and professional.

If I have anything wrong with my car, I bring it to them . They make sure everything was fixed . The price is always half or less of that quoted at the dealership . Very knowledgeable techs, called me every step of the way . Never had issue, brought on several occasions, for different issues with great outcomes each time .

SO If i come in before 8 to a scheduled appointment, will i always get a rude comment from the front desk lady that im there before her?

They are very knowledgeable and will typically get to your car in a timely fashion. I initially brought my car to them for a clutch and transmission replacement, which has held up well (minus shifter shake that wasn’t there before, most likely the used trans). After about a week of having the car the ews module failed, through no fault of their own. I took it back to have them replace the part and to replace the gaskets in my engine that were leaking oil. This was 7 months ago and I am just today picking my car up from the shop after many, many delays.They replaced the part, but did not remember me asking to have my oil leak fixed. In total, my car has sat in the sun for roughly 7 months with tape (for a window that stays up on its own when pushed up properly) on the paint. The clear coat has been eaten through in several spots and the tape adhesive has melted onto my car. I have taken my car to them a few times before with no issue. For whatever reason, this time was much different. They did give me a discount (~$300 off a 1600+ job) for the wait, which I appreciate, but in my honest opinion I should’ve just taken the car elsewhere. Maurice is very nice and personable, but did not seem to care about the way my car was treated. YMMV

Cannot say enough about the great service - my daughters Mini was running rough - they diagnosed and repaired it in under an hour. She lives in KC so it was great to find someone that was able to look at it right away. I highly recommend them!

Agree with all the other positive reviewers. Maurice is who you want taking care of your vehicle. Years ago as a younger kid he was generous and kind to me and I think youll experience the same. Ive heard only good about him over the years. His mechanics are picked for their skill and attention to detail. Although Ive been overseas, I wouldnt hesitate taking anything to him if the opportunity came. Been meaning to leave a good review for a long time.

Traveling cross country, our X3 gave us some trouble and the outstanding reviews led us here. Maurice shook our hands (an excellent start!) and did a quick assessment, sharing his recommendations for getting us back on the road quickly. We received a follow-up phone call 24 hours later, just to make sure everything was still running at peak performance. Now thats integrity! Following up with customers that he would likely never see again (we were literally just passing through town), should tell you all you need to know about the way this businessman operates. They are amazing here! Especially the girl behind the counter at their new location on E 1st St. The Unruh Automotive building. I had my 3 year old with me and my alignment took longer than expected but she was wonderful, gave my son a white board and markers to keep him busy and the other customers were very sweet also even when he was getting restless and a little loud. Service was so great, cant even complain about the extra time. Car drives perfectly now, will be going back!!

Very helpful and honest. Ive always been worried about taking my cars to non-dealership facilities because of the plethora of incompetent and dishonest technicians out there, but Bavarian Automotive is different. They do a better job than the dealerships and at a much lower price. I will be a customer for as long as I live in Wichita. Maybe even after I move, I might come back just for this shop.

I cant say more about the quality work and the professionalism of this business. Ive had to take my car to them one for an interior update and the second to do some serious mechanical work to the engine of my BMW. They were able to work with me on price and got my car running in tip top shape! I spent a couple thousand on the repairs but that will probably be double at a BMW dealership.

Great people. We had a repair that needed all new fuel injectors. They called the dealership and found out it was covered under a special warranty that only the dealer could repair and sent us there. Oh and it was a $3500 repair.

Best place in town to have your BMW repaired, took my 1986 325 in for an idle surge issue and the owner and his techs were able to trouble shoot it and have it running smooth soon after.
