What an amazing experience! First of all, I made my appointment and showed up a week early... Oops. The ladies were accommodating and still got me seen the day I showed up. Then Dr. Riggs came in and he has the best personality Ive ever encountered in a doctor. It was refreshing to feel like I was being seen by a human being instead of a robot. Thank you !
This is the second time I’ve been here. The second worse than the first. I thought after coming back after two years somehow service would be better. It was not! I was greeted by a friendly receptionist. After that, everything went downhill! The Doctor Joel, was overly playful and nonchalant to my needs. I told him I had astigmatism (diagnosed 6 years ago) and developed eye floaters recently and wanted to see if I had any retinal detachment or eye disease. He tells me, my Davis Vision insurance won’t cover any eye health problems and it will become a medical issue. I said I was diagnosed with Astigmatism at my previous eye doctor. And he started to shew me away with his hand. I demanded he let me speak. After this he was semi respectful. I told him you can tell me if I have any eye disease or retinal detachment simply with my dilated eye exam. He then says yes and says he can tell me about the health of my eye. FINALLY. Very rude, UNprofessional and nonchalant. Because I knew what I was talking about he backed down and finally agreed to tell me about the health of my eye. I get the drops in my eyes for dilation and Joel now tells me I can check for frames. I asked for those disposable glasses for dilation, my eyes were blurry…guess what?! He says I won’t need them my eyes will be fine. NO RESPECTFUL DOCTOR HAS EVER SAID THIS TO ME BEFORE! His unprofessionalism was on a roll! Didn’t even mention I had no glaucoma which he “apologized” for later when I brought it up.Finally when sent to try on frames (eyes were being dilated) They give me a tray. The woman upfront doesn’t even tell me where I can select from as my Davis Vision insurance has two special selections they have in frames that they cover in full. When I explained this she looked as if I was lying. And said Davis Vision owns Visionworks. What???? And says “Honestly, row 3 three and down you can choose from.” What kind of service is this?!Finally when everything is almost over I go over to another person whose in charge of what type of lense to choose from. His opener was, “Your numbers are kinda up there, so you should get the high index, with the works.” Something sounded off. I chose the high index lens, because he made it seem like my eyes REALLY needed them. Total up sell I should have realized. (Also looked up prescription when I went home and I have very MODERATE nearsightedness and within okay range, nothing alarming.) My total came to almost $200. I was wondering I have really good insurance and I’m inside my network and my exam is covered, my frames, lens and the like. Why am I paying almost $200. When my husband comes in, this guy immediately changes his tune. My husband was suspicious also. The guy then brings down to price to polycarbonate with no special, no glare. Brought it down to $55. It’s funny, they didn’t want to help me, but was QUICK to upsell me. I wasn’t going to write this review but I’m tired of the treatment I get here. Especially being a Black Woman. This happens many times where I go. The disrespect and nonchalance. Hopefully I will receive my glasses in tact especially after writing this review.
This is the Walmart of eye care. Huge corporation obviously pushing the upsell at every turn. Excessive technology seems to get in the way rather than be of help. When I asked if dilation for glaucoma check was part of a normal exam (I.E. covered by insurance) and recommended, I was told it can be, do you want that? by the doctor. Weird.

Randy was the person who helped me!!! Way!!! The entire service is excellent and the glass quality is supreme.I made an appointment. Randy did help me pick up a frame in the base of my preference to spend, he was respectful and cordeal! I was irritated in the beginning, but he really colm me down, he also ask the doctor a question for me! I definitely find Randy service beyond supreme! I would give him 100 stars if I could. He helped me with the frame. He was patient and answer to all my questions about the frame/lenses and special options.I ordered a glasses!! He did respect my budget and really give me a great feeling that I was taken care for, I felt a valuable customer and appreciate in my needs.When I pick up the glasses he customize the frame on my face. The glasses itself are WAY!!! They are worth each cent!!!I used to wear glasses that would make me dizzy and had strong headeq.This product is beyond expectation and I recommend it!!!I recommend that center. I recommend that 👓!!! I love everything about it!!!
We ordered the glasses 2/ one and only got a call when the first pair was ready. It’s been another week and no word. I tried to use the website and it wouldn’t let me put in the birthdate to complete the check on status. No one is answering the phone ever!! Worst customer service!!
Friendly and helpful staff. I wasnt very happy with how my glasses fit. I went in and they were able to easily make an adjustment to make them fit much better! The staff also picks up the phone quickly and answers any of your questions or concerns. I didnt know if I wanted Blue Light Blocker after I already placed and paid for my glasses. When I called about possibly adding blue light blocking one of the girls explained that since I bought anti-reflective coating that I shouldnt need the blue light blockers. I havent worn my glasses much but so far they are working great for reading magazines.
I felt cared for and was treated with respect. This level of customer service was like back in the day when people cared for customers and that is exactly how I felt.I have a Visionworks less than a mile from my home yet I traveled over 10 miles to this location because I had such a terrible experience at the first place. (I even got a sty in my eye for all my trouble.)Well, It was so worth the drive!! The care and concern and thoroughness with which I was treated was top notch. Very rare in todays world. Thank you and I will be telling my friends!
What an excellent and experienced staff. Ive tried for 3 years in a row to get a pair of contacts in and their professional staff not only helped guide me on the way but stayed extremely patient with me. After I finally got them in the Dr. Made sure that everything fit right and was the right prescription for me. From the Optometrist to the receptionist, this has been the best overall experience Ive ever had in my life. I will definitely be coming back.
First time visit to the location, wonderful staff immediately was greeted in a professional manner, even though I was late they were able to see me immediately. If you have VsP I highly recommend checking them outThe testing was done quickly and efficiently. The optometrist that helped was awesome, he was able to answer my questions with laymans terms, so as I could understand more clearly.At check out Rachel attended me. very professional and courteous, all while keeping a friendly conversation.

I broke my glasses on Christmas Eve and had a road trip planned for the day after Christmas. I was able to make an appointment, get an eye exam, and walk out with sample contacts all in the same day. Absolutely fantastic. Great service.

Very organized even with COVID. It almost seemed faster to get in and do all your testing choose frames and check out. They are really friendly and seem to love what they do.
My one complaint is that my appointment was scheduled for 1115am and I wasnt seen untill 1145am. They didnt look particularly busy at that time, so Im not sure why the wait was so long. Seems to me that if the appointment is for 1115, thats when I would be seen. Other than that, I was pleased with the service. All the staff were friendly and the eye exam itself was painless and efficient. They have a nice selection of frames to chose from. Everything was adequately sanitized and they had Covid protocols in place.
Dr. Rege and staff at Visionworks #494 are phenomenal. I would, and have, recommended then to all my friends and family. They take time to make the experience and necessary needs special.

Terrible lighting!!There is a horrendous fluorescent light (above where you do your initial vision check) that is flashing on and off. It is very distracting when youre trying to look at the letters, not to mention it made me feel nauseous. This is UNACCEPTABLE for an eye exam!Plus side- The staff is very friendly and professional. The doctor had great bed side manner.

I have been a Visionworks patron for years, but after my experience at this location, I will never come back. The doctor was fantastic so I hate to write a negative review, but the rest of the experience was an absolute nightmare.Upon arrival for my exam, I was told they had trouble verifying my insurance. Because it was a weekend, we couldnt get them on the phone. I gave them my insurance card and pulled up my coverage plan up on my phone. The woman helping me said it looks like it should be covered (this is the same insurance Ive had for years and never had a problem with at Visionworks before) but she couldnt verify it in their system. She said I could proceed with the visit and they would bill my insurance, then I would be responsible for whatever wasnt covered. I verified - if I proceed with the exam and order contacts, youll send the bill to my insurance and THEN Ill have to pay what they dont? She confirmed. So I proceeded.After the exam and I placed my contact order, she told me I owed ~$400. I said arent you going to bill my insurance first, like you said? She said no, I was able to look it up already and they arent going to cover anything so you have to pay out of pocket and then ask them to reimburse you. I said thats not what I was told, but she insisted I had to pay then. So I did and began the months-long process of trying to get reimbursed by my insurance company (who I later verified indeed should have covered this visit).The next week, I followed up with my insurance company to find out why they didnt cover the visit, and it turns out Visionworks NEVER SENT THEM THE CLAIM. So now Ive been lied to twice by Visionworks- that I wouldnt have to pay for the visit same day and that they tried billing my insurance and my visit wasnt covered.After numerous calls to Visionworks Customer Service trying to figure out why I was told my insurance was billed when it wasnt, someone finally told me that they probably were looking at the wrong screen and told me someone elses information, followed by mistakes happen. I said of course they so can you just bill my insurance for the visit now? He said no they cant bill after the visit even though it was THEIR MISTAKE to not bill them properly the first time.Skipping over many more details, I finally got my insurance company to reimburse me FIVE MONTHS LATER, but it was just for the discounted cost that the insurance company would have paid (about $130 less than I paid out of pocket). I called Visionworks yet again to ask if they would reimburse me for this discrepancy (since it was their mistake to begin with) and was told that this discrepancy was between me and the insurer.Im not sure if these acts were malicious or arose out of incompetence, but either way, this sucked and I wouldnt wish this experience on my worst enemy.TL;DR Visionworks lied to me about billing my insurance for a visit, forcing me to fight with them for five months and costing me ~$130 extra dollars. 0/10 do not recommend to anyone
When I arrived at the VisionWorks location in Westminster Colorado, I realized that due to the Covid-19 restrictions, I should have made an appointment. Not wanting to make lengthy trip for nothing, I figured I would try and called the number on the door. In less than 1 minute, I was in the store shopping for my new glasses. I was surprised at how all the associates were willing to help even though they were already working with customers. I was also elated at the huge selection and variety of frames VisionWorks had after having just left a huge chain and one of VisionWorks biggest competitors and getting the exact opposite experience. I was taken back at the level of knowledge that my associate Jessica had, and her willingness to back up and either start over, or to explore different options to satisfy not only my budget, but my total satisfaction with the choice and options I chose. Jessica is definitely a choice employee and made my eyeglass frame and lens shopping experience a great one. She even educated me on things I had no knowledge of. I will from here forward be a loyal customer, and happy to now be a part of the VisionWorks family.

In our current atmosphere of the COVID-19 Endemic most of the people we encounter are angry, rude, and just downright nasty.It was refreshing to patronize an establishment where EVERY EMPLOYEE greeted you with an exuberant and genuine personality.The young lady that initiates the first part of the exam is so adorable and welcoming, you could stay all day with her.The Doctor is very knowledgeable and attentive to every detail of the exam.Fitting was like being on a shopping spree, recommendations were galore.Staff were very cautious and compliant with COVID-19 protocol.I will definitely recommend this location to everyone, as I will be a dedicated consumer.

I have always gotten friendly service when I have been there. I took my 6 year old yesterday and they where really good with her. Even though she was being a little difficult during her exam. We even got her glasses within a hour
It was wonderful. We are so happy that we came up with a plan to help her with her eyes. Instead of bifocals 2 different pairs of glasses. Which will be hard but help her out so much more. With her having Autism.

My sunglasses lost a screw Thursday. Working outside my sunglasses are a must. I popped in without an appointment and Nicole fixed my sunglasses, tighten my regular glasses, AND replaced my broken case (I hadnt even mentioned it becuase it still worked) and I was back on my merry way. Started coming here about a year ago and have had nothing but positive experiences since. The contacts that I use are a bit unique and therefore have to be ordered in which takes about 10 days. Rather than shop other places to find somewhere that may carry the contacts I use, I will continue going here due to the price, ease of ordering, and most importantly- customer service.Specifically, I’ve dealt with an employee named Nicole on numerous occasions and each time I leave feeling happy with my experience. She is knowledgeable and answers any questions I’ve had, she’s professional and gets me in and out in a timely fashion, and on more than one occasion she has gone above and beyond to help me out (like finding and setting aside my order and notifying the worker at the desk when I was in a hurry which allowed me to literally walk in and walk out and saved me time that I didn’t have to waste).I’ve never done an online review before, mainly because I never get compelled to. But after my most recent trip in, Nicole again helped me out and I figured that she and the store deserve some kudos and recognition.For a national chain, this Visionworks impressed by having the customer care that you would expect of a smaller/local business.A big part of that, is its employees. And specifically Nicole shines through as a perfect example of what you would want from an employee in a customer facing role.

I regret ever coming here. Bought $180 glasses and the doctor who did my prescription completely screwed it up. I came back in barely able to see, and they treated me like I was lying. Then, after the second doctor found that my prescription was wildly off, they ordered me new glasses and completely left options off of the lenses that Id paid for. I will clearly not be back, and wouldnt recommend them to anyone.
Exceptional staff, excellent courtesy and they go the extra mile to accommodate with old fashioned great service. Had an eye emergency and they bent over backward to help and ensure I saw their very professional and knowledgeable OD and she was great!! They totally impressed me with their approach and I will get glasses there in the future. Sort of hard to see from the road as the shopping center keeps their tree landscaping heavy. Totally worth seeking out!! Kudos to such personable folks!!

I was greeted with a smile. I was given professional care. My doctor spent quality time with me to discuss my concerns. The tech for my labs was funny and personable. This eased my nervousness. She knew her machines. The customer services represenative carefully and patiently showed me my plan and options. She let me ask questions and was helpful but not assertive in helping me find the correct no perfect frame. She also didnt try to pressure me into buying. She instead helped me understand the best deals with my insurance. I am planning on telling anyone who asks where I got my glasses and superb eye care.
I have had excellent service at this store, including replacement of frames that had a defect that developed quite some time after my original purchase. They replaced them on the spot, no questions asked, I was out the door in less than 5 minutes! I highly recommend them.

Big Thank you to the lab tech.. My son lost his glasses in a pond he was working on. He has a very strong prescription so its hard to find a place that can do his glasses in a day. I called, was put in touch with the lab tech, he confirmed he had the lenses but the lab closed at 5pm and he would need about 2 1/2 - 3 hrs to get his glasses done. we didnt get there until about 3:30, finalized everything by 4pm, wasnt expect to get his glasses until the next day, but the tech remembered my call and he stayed late to finish them.. THANK YOU to everyone who worked with us. you were all so friendly and helpful
Not sure what all the negative reviews are about. I came here and received professional treatment and excellent customer service. I came during the middle of the afternoon and had a slightly longer wait than expected but from the level of service received these people deserve 5 stars!

This place is horrible, I was told that my trial contact would be ready in 2 weeks. Didnt get a call or anything for almost 2 months i finally decided to call and they said they were ready to pick up. There quick to charge and not so quick to give a simple call to say your stuff is ready.
The Dr and all the staff are so helpful and friendly, I felt like I was among friends.I dont know the names of the people I dealt with on 3/4/2020 but they all deserve 5 stars.

I have been in this store multiple times this year due to a complicated prescription and my inability to adjust quickly to it along with a need for different pairs for different activities. Each and every time, the customer service was excellent and the people are efficient and friendly. Nicole Palmer-Aquiar is the absolute best. She genuinely cares about her customers and it shows. She has worked with me patiently each time until we came to a solution and is very fair even when my fault that I need new glasses AGAIN! Highly recommended

Dr.Rege is amazing, he’s easy to talk to and very open minded when it comes to potential fixes to vision problems. I have a pretty advanced prescription what with having a pretty prominent astigmatism. I’ve always wanted to try contacts and with an astigmatism it can get tricky. He didn’t flat out tell me “no” like so many optometrists I’d seen before him. He said he was more than happy to order the trials id need in order to try them out and was happy to set up an appointment for fittings and teachings. It was nice to be heard out and given options. I’ll definitely be returning to this O.D. My only complaint was the wait time, my appointment was at 9:30 and I wasn’t roomed until after 10. Not a deal breaker for me though considering the great treatment from the doctor. All of the staff was very friendly as well.
Ive been getting my glasses here for the last couple of years and their customer services is outstanding . I came in to get an adjustment due to the dog getting ahold of them after only having them for a month, Nicole had gone above and beyond, instead of just adjusting my glasses she replaced them the chewed up frames right then and there. Wonderful service.

Glasses cost $589.00 and I asked for lanyard for glasses, clerk said no you have to buy itSince then the GM contactacted me and she made everything spectacular! I got the the frames I wanted and I didnt have to pay out of pocket Therefore, Im a happy man!I really dont, or even post a review about a business. I wouldnt recommend Visionworks to anyone! I personally will never return to this place ever again. My promise date to get the second pair that was originally was supposed to be the first pair was 11/22/2019 I believe thats what the examine scheduler told me. I never recieved phone call from Visionworks so I called them. My glasses was sitting in Visionworks care for 5 days before I decided to call them. This business is sorry!!!Larry D. Mudgett
