Dr. Rose and her team are amazing. My 10 year old daughter was diagnosed with an esotropia in her right eye which was impacting her tracking ability and focus.Dr. Rose got the diagnosis right away. My kid got glasses and we started vision therapy. My daughter is doing fantastic, getting better every day and loves the therapy. What makes Dr. Rose and her team so incredible is their communication. Dr. Rose and her team took the time to explain everything to me and answer all of my questions. This wasnt a one time deal because the process was ongoing. In fact, Dr. Rose took time personally along the way to answer my questions and give me guidance on what I can do at home to really help my kid advance.By way of background, I am an attorney myself and I interface with medical experts routinely as part of my practice. Dr. Rose is sharp as a tack and you can tell in speaking with her that she knows her stuff inside and out. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend her and her team.
Dr. Rose is the best! I have been going to her for 5 years and I have been really pleased with her and her staff. When I had a torn retina, she told me over the phone to go straight to the retina specialist and she called ahead so they would know I was coming. A few surgeries later and I was back with her for post-cataract checkups. She really knows what she is doing and her staff is very friendly.
No respect for your time. Had no idea an eye appointment would take 2 hours. I didnt even need contacts or glasses. It was just for the eye exam. Not happy. Not sure if Dr. Rose reads her reviews; but if she does, I would highly recommend going over this information with new patients when they call and make their first appointment. I will not be returning.
I have been going to this office for many years. Normally I love it! Dr Rose and her staff are amazing. Tuesday I was stuck with a Dr Zamora who spent so much time telling me what she thought she knew about me based on the computer screen. She was not interested in listening to me AT ALL! There was a young student there so I suppose she needed to make a show of how fabulous she thinks she is.At the end of exam, asked me to follow her to optical area. She was at the front desk before I could even grab my stuff. Rude rude rude. If I had known the appointment was with this nightmare and not my actual Dr, I would have rescheduled.Again, I love this office and it’s staff, but I advise anyone to steer clear of this person’s office hours. Ask for Dr Rose!
I absolutely love Dr. Rose I used to go to Colorado Eye Center in Broomfield and as soon as I got a referral for her to get vision therapy I switched and have been seeing her and this office ever since! They also help tighten my glasses on the regular when my baby girl stretches them out and are super friendly and understanding about it.
I’m JoAnn I love this place. Dr Rose is such a breath of fresh air and her staff are the GREAT!
My son has participated the eye therapy program at North Park Vision with Dr. Rose and LeAnn for the past two years and just graduated! From the very first visit they were nothing but professional and caring. When my son was in Kindergarten he struggled with focusing on tasks, fidgeting and excessive outbursts in class. We had his vision screened and realized that he could not see along with several other eye challenges and diagnosis. Dr. Rose met with our family and we moved forward with eye therapy after a very detailed description of his individual needs. Dr. Rose explained everything and how eye therapy at his young age could help him be successful. At first it was hard and Richard was not particularly interested. LeAnn, his primary therapist, was kind and VERY patient. She looked at not only his needs visually but physically and emotionally. Every week they did new activities and he would bring homework to work on at home. LeAnn taught Richard how to love eye therapy and now that he has graduated he uses what he has learned in day to day life. The other therapists also looked forward to seeing Richard every week. Annie and Lorna always had a smile and helped Richard master the skills we were working on.The front office staff were welcoming and always happy to see Richard. Angel and Tanya were there from the beginning every week! Many of you reading may think that eye therapy is expensive... and it is... but it is worth EVERY penny and the success is so worth it. When we started Richard was a year behind and now going into third grade he is reading at a fourth and fifth grade level. He hated writing before and now has journal that writes in. He behavior has dramatically improved. I cannot say thank you enough to all of the staff at North Park Vision for the difference this had made in our family! It is amazing what you can do when you can see!
I was seen for an annual eye exam and contact lens evaluation by Dr Zamora. She was very thorough, took the time to explain everything, and was genuinely concerned about the health of my eyes. She found something under my eyelids which no one had found before and told me what to do for it and it feels much better now.
I had my examination today at North Park Vision Center. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. They take the CDC guidelines for Covid very seriously, I felt very comfortable the entire time. They all wore masks and sanitized everything before and after use.Dr. Rose was very professional and answered all my questions and concerns. She even made some great recommendations for new glasses, sizes and, told me about all the other great options I need to take advantage of I.E. blue light reflective, glare reduction. Etc.
This place is fine but they dont do a very good job of actually listening to my feedback when I say a prescription isnt right.... And dont even get me started on how long it takes to get any glasses that you have ordered... Two and a half to three weeks is too much.
My son completed two years of vision therapy at North Park Vision, and it was absolutely life-changing for him (and for me!). The therapy did so much to help him in many different aspects, including being much less tired and fatigued at the end of every school day. The vision therapists and all the staff are wonderful and I will be forever grateful to them. It was absolutely worth every penny and every hour spent. I am tremendously thankful that we found North Park and that my son was able to get the help he needed.
North Park Vision Center has been a wonderful experience in an otherwise difficult time. The staff at North Park Vision treat our daughter and the family very well, it doesnt seem that we are spending all that time in a Drs office. Dr. Rose and the staff are the greatest. Thanks.
My daughter just graduated from vision therapy at North Park Vision Center. It took some time but we are all pleased with the results. When she started, she wouldnt walk into the room without flapping. She couldnt run in a straight line and she couldnt catch a ball. She couldnt sit still or focus. But now, she walks into the room calmly. She can focus on the things she is asked to do even with other people talking in the room. Most importantly, she is doing better in school. She has come a long way and we are so proud of her. Thank you Dr. Rose!
My husband, son and I have all been going to see Dr. Rose at Northpark Vision Center for years, because of the very high quality of personal care and service we always get from her and her staff. Dr. Rose is very knowledgeable and thorough. She explains the implications of anything unusual that might come up, as well as the different options and pros/cons for any treatments. She and her staff have been very accommodating when Ive had to try multiple brands of contact lenses to find one that works best for my situation. If theres an issue with a lens, her staff always replaces it. My son attended the vision therapy program at Northpark Vision Center when he was younger, and the work he did there, as well as the support from the staff, made the difference between success and failure at school. I have recommended Dr. Rose to many people over the years, and am grateful to her and all her staff for all they do.
My husband is a welder and got something stuck in his eye. He was in quite a bit of pain. These wonderful people got him in immediately and got the object out within 5 minutes. I cannot recommend this place enough.
My son just graduated vision therapy from North Park Vision. Not only is the staff extremely helpful and knowledgeable, they are so kind as well! This is a FANTASTIC place to be if your kiddo is having vision trouble that is causing he or she to be behind in school. Not only did North Park vision therapy help my son feel more confident but he is now working at grade level! Thank You so much North Park Vision Team!!
Every time I schedule an appointment with this office I come in for my appointment only to be told the appointment was never scheduled. The people are kind but I cannot continue booking appointments and taking time off of work only to be told I dont have an appointment. This is the only place that has ever done this to me. I hope you guys can figure this out and correct the issue for future customers. I myself, will not be returning.
My family has had a wonderful experience at North Park Vision Center! Vision Therapy has been transformational for our children. Jessica in the vision center went beyond expectation with our kids eye glasses as well. We are thrilled with the experience here!
When my daughter first arrived at North Park Vision, she couldnt trace letters like a normal child would do, we had to hold her back at Pre-K because she wouldnt recognize letters or numbers. She was not able to catch a ball or walk without being on her tip toes. She had depth and spacial perception problems and cognitive learning issues. It has been a long way for our little girl but with the help of Dr. Rose and her team she finally graduated and she can read, write and do problem solving without getting overly frustrated. My daughter finally enjoys school, reading and writing! I would highly recommend vision therapy with North Park Vision!
I came to Dr. Rose with several vision problems. She resolved each with an excellent in-depth initial exam. New prescription, referral to a glaucoma specialist and vision therapy have made all the difference. I highly recommend Dr. Rose and Annie, vision therapist!
We loved this place! My son is 8 yo and it was his first time to see an eye doctor. The doctor was great, very professional and very kids friendly, she was the best! She did so much and so fast. My son was so happy with his new reading glasses. So convenient to have the store right there. Before we left, he picked up the glasses. In less than 10 days the glasses were ready.Great service, fast and super professional. This practice is now the practice of our whole family!
My daughter recently graduated from vision therapy at North Park Vision Center. I was initially hesitant about the therapy, but after the first month I was convinced that she was making progress because her reading scores were going up at school and significantly reducing her level of frustration. After 8 months of therapy, her reading level increased by almost 2 grade levels, going from below to above grade level.
I have been going to Dr. Rose for the last 4 years and always feel well taken care of. I have a heavy prescription and family history of retinal detachments and Dr. Rose always dilates my eyes and checks over them very carefully for any signs of tears, etc. It makes me feel good knowing she is paying such close attention!
Our son needed vision therapy in elementary school for vision tracking, which had greatly affected his reading ability. I am please to say he graduated from High School with a 4.0. The staff was amazing, and took such good care of him. Thanks.
Room where they puff your eyes was dirty. Sure, they wipe down where your forehead touches the machine. But the rest of the room was covered in dust. Then I was taken back to the exam room. Lady who first came in was very helpful. I explained that I was going to be ordering some prescription FPV goggle inserts, (Imagine a VR Headset, used for Drone Racing) and I wanted to make sure I entered the information correct on the website. She helped me, but was whispering while helping me, and then told me NOT to mention it to the doctor, because she doesnt like it when people order glasses online. I explained that, this is a super niche product that only one company in the world makes. But whatever, obviously Im going to mention it to the doctor. They initially gave me one brand of lenses to try on, but when the doctor came in, she gave me another brand to try out. This is important for later, they gave me 2 brands with the same prescription. I then asked the doctor about ordering glasses online, and essentially went off on a tirade about quality. But I didnt ask WHY I should buy glasses for them, I asked for help on how to order. Then on my way out, I attempted to have them give me my updated prescription information. Begrudgingly, they printed it out for me. I inquired about my inter pupilary distance, a measurment required to order my FPV inserts online. The lady at the desk told me they Didnt have that information and I would have to get it from the glasses people. I know for a FACT this was a bold face lie, as the initial lady who helped me had already given me this information, and showed me my IPD on the computer. So they have the IPD information, but lied to me, and said they didnt!Contacts worked out fine. So I called in to order some. I asked if I could get them overnighted/2 day shipped and I would pay extra. They told me that wasnt an option. That it would take a week and thats that. So I asked if I could come in and get another box of samples,as Im leaving for a weekend of skiing and I need something. She said she would look into it and CALL me back. An hour later I received a TEXT from them saying they didnt have anything in stock that would work for me. First off, how lazy and unprofessional to text me info like this. Like she couldnt even be bothered to talk to me again. Also, I know that the info in the text isnt true, because I tried on 2 brands the day I was there! And just how matter of factly she told me they couldnt get them overnighted. Like, call your distributor! See if they can make anything work. Really they just kind of seemed annoyed that I would even suggest that, and really made no attempt to accommodate. So 2 cases of them lieing to me, made it difficult for me to get my prescription and obfuscated information needed to order glasses. They didnt seem to want to help me out or work with me in any way. They just seem to be stuck in their ways and dont have any intention of changing or improving with the times. Like, when someone asks for a copy of their prescription, make sure to include the IPD instead of making the person get home and realize that measurement isnt there! You have to adapt with the times if you want to stay competitive.
My son went through the vision therapy program. It has made a huge difference in his ability to read, comprehend, and process quickly.
I have been seeing Dr. Best for many years and shes always very helpful and friendly. I probably ask more than my share of questions, and shes always ready with an answer I can understand. The staff behind the front desk is also very friendly. I definitely recommend Dr. Best.
Ive gotten a response (below) from the owner. My response to the owner is: If youd like to correct things with ME, then refund the upsold material that I didnt realize that I was paying extra for. If you want to correct the PROBLEM, then ask each consumer about the extra features and clearly explain the extra cost.Imagine buying a car with a base price of $15,000, but when you come in to sign, they tell you the final amount is $25,000. You would say, But taxes should maybe be only $2000 and so...I dont understand...- but at this point, North Park would say, Were giving you the best car possible. But the problem is, they didnt ask you if you wanted tinted windows, AM/FM stereo with cassette capacity, power seats, AC, etc. To some people, all of these things might be perfect, but to many, the reaction is, I dont need/want that. Or maybe, Id like that, but I need to watch my budget right now.So the problem right now at North Park VC is that one is NOT offered the base price and then asked if he/she would like the bells and whistles. The FIX is to tell the consumer, $X/XX.XX is the base cost of your glasses. Id like to share with you some upgrades (I know there is a better word for you) that may benefit you. Would you like yyy? It will cost $xx extra and will help you...zzz...and.. so on.Beware and watch your bill carefully. They upsell you EVERYTHING without telling you, hoping that youll accept it all. They call their fast talk explaining. Actually, I would call it worse than upselling, because its done without asking you; I guess its more on the lines of fascism.
This place was very nice and clean. The Front office staff made all the differences! Great customer service and really really nice and decent people trying their best to help you. My wait time was about 15 mins but thats normal with doctor visits. I had two interns taking me in and doing part of my eye exam for me under the supervision of their overseeing doctor. everything went smoothly and i had a great overall experience! I would highly recommend this practice for anyone who wants to have an eye exam or needs eye healthcare. But due keep in mind, they dont accept medicaid patients, but they can refer you out to places that does.AWESOME JOB GUYS!
Went to North Park Vision Center yesterday as a new client. I have had glasses for the past 9 years and been going to doctors every year. The staff at North Park, and my doctor, Dr. LaHoud, were all very friendly and helpful. Dr. LaHoud took time to explain things to me I didnt know and help me in a professional and informative way. The facility is very clean. And most important to me, I spent maybe 1 minute total waiting around for a doctor the whole time I was there. They were very timely and I even got into my appointment early. Overall a great experience and I would recommend this place to all my family and friends.
The doctor was friendly and welcoming, as were many of the staff members. However, the front desk vision workers either were grossly incompetent or extremely deceitful in helping me understand my insurance benefits. They told me my insurance didnt cover my contact exam, made me pay up front and told me I couldnt use the max of my insurance benefits unless I bought contacts from THEM on the SAME day as my appointment. All of this was confirmed to untrue when I made a call to my insurance carrier the next day. In fact, in addition to charging me for my contact exam, they also were trying to bill my carrier as if I hadnt paid for it.I wont be returning.
The people were friendly, the doctor was knowledgable, and the entire appointment went very quickly and easily. I would absolutely recommend this vision center
Dr Rose and her staff are fantastic! The therapists are patient and friendly, the front desk always greets you with a smile, and Dr Rose takes the time to address your concerns and answer your questions. Such an awesome team!
Took my 7yo to see Dr Rose. She has been to many eye drs and none since her very first optomitrist in Wyoming, made us feel as confident in her vision as she did. My daughter has a very thick lens and has a hard time seeing. Have to up her prescription significantly every year. Dr Rose recommended vision therapy and I feel that is going to be our next step.I will be taking myself and my other 2 children to see her from now on!
They said its a new prescription and itll take time. But I cant see beyond 100ft and one of the lenses is blurry but I can see better without the glasses. I called around 4pm but I guess they closed early because it went straight to voicemail. With my old glasses I can see crystal clear.
I went to this center since my son had a corneal abrasion; the doctors and staff were very friendly and excellent...the case was taken very seriously and professionally; equipment were very advance.the place is very nice.
Went in over a year and half ago. Got eye exam and purchased frames with lens. Spent several hundred dollars including for scratch resistance coating, wanting my investment to last as long as possible. 6 months later one arm of the frame falls off. I take it in and the screw and pin system is to blame. They tighten the screw in the pin and send me on my way. 3 months later same arm falls off, same issue - take it in same solution. 3 months after that same thing. 3 months later, again, same issue. Each time they seem to have no idea that I keep coming in with the same issue. Take the frames in today and am told the pin inside is cracked and is why the screw wont stay in. They want to charge 50 dollars to repair the pin. No thanks! I have no idea if the cracked pin inside is something they caused over the many repairs or was the original issue all along but Ill spend my money elsewhere. Maybe with an optometrist that is accountable for the product and service they sell you.
I could never figure out why my oldest daughter struggled so much in school. But because Dr. Rose and her vision therapy team, cared and took the time to help my daughter, my daughter is now a grade ahead (a freshman as an 8th grader at Arvada West High School) working to be on the Honor Roll. Now I am back with my son. I am so excited to be back and I am looking forward to his success. I cant even begin to explain the weight that this office has taken off my shoulders. I know for a fact that I will be bringing the rest of my children when the time comes. Thank you to everyone at NorthPark. I ❤️ all of you!!
Great service and selection and within walking distance of my house. An added bonus!
