Alfonso was wonderful to work with and was able to get my sons contacts ordered without delay. Ive tried several other vision centers ( including the big box stores) and none can compare. Alfonso was knowledgeable of the product lines, efficient and personable. I will be ordering contacts from visionworks from now on!
The service was fabulous. My 14 year old granddaughter was getting glasses for the first time. Ashley D. was informative, helpful, kind and engaging. I certainly will go there for my eyeglass needs.
Authorized my insurance while I was looking at glasses. Couldnt use my insurance elsewhere due to their error. Also never answered their phones.
Billed the wrong insurance, screwed everything up royally. Condescending and rude employees. I would highly recommend going somewhere else....anywhere else but here.
I am so upset with this company. I placed an order for 2 pairs of children glasses on 1/13/2021. The receipt stated they would be ready on 1/21/2021. I was told by the store when I ordered I would be contacted when they come in. It’s now 2/15/2021 and I have not heard a word. I have attempted for over a week to contact the store to find out what’s going on and I get no response. They have taken my money and now gone silent. I’ve even attempted the online chat which is just a robot, big help there, also emailed and of course no response. I will never order from this company again. I now have 2 children who can’t see because of this company. Worst service ever!!!
Ashley is amazing such a nice person and VERY helpful she told me what I need to know, and I when we went back to get glasses resized a little she was incredibly helpful I will only go here and see her, out of all the people who were working she is the only one who made me comfortable and helpful thank you again Ashley
I was very frustrated at fist with the automated system but after going in the store I couldn’t be happier! I worked with Ashley and she took time to answer all of my questions even when the store got extremely busy.
I have used Visionworks in the past and have been very pleased. However, this time around I cant say the same. The eye doctor is great. She is very thorough and really explains your eye exam in detail. I wished I could say the same about the staff. I went in today to pick up my eye glasses. The gentleman took my temperature right behind another lady and never looked at the screen to see if either one of us had a temperature. When I sat down to get my glasses, there was no mirror there for me to look at to see if my glasses looked correct on my face. The man never checked my ear pieces to see if they were sitting on my ears properly. When he had to adjust them, he didnt take them off of my face properly. He tipped them forward on my face and didnt pull them straight off. He gave me both pair of my glasses back with just a case and no cleaning cloth nor did he clean his finger prints off my lenses. When I got to my car and tried both of my glasses on, the pair I need for driving, the nose pieces sat up on the bridge of my nose and not over like they should fit. They also didnt fit right on my ears. I went back in the store and got the same gentleman. He again took my temperature, after Id just left less than 5 minutes prior and again didnt read the temperature. I went and got myself a mirror so I could see how my glasses fit. He fixed the nose pieces and adjusted my ear pieces but still never checked them on my ears to see if they fit properly. Again still never cleaned his finger prints from my lenses. My glasses still are sitting crooked and Im frustrated. My total bill before insurance was over $900. My out of pocket was over $300. For this amount of money, I expect better customer service. I know things are different right now due to Covid. However, I feel that you should be allowed to remove your mask when choosing your glasses. I have 2 pair of glasses now that Im not happy with and dont like how I look in them without a mask on. If I had of been allowed to remove my mask, I would never have chosen them. My whole experience from the beginning has been very unprofessional. The day of my exam, my appointment was at 5pm and the store closed at 6pm. I felt rushed to chose my glasses due to the fact it was after 6. I was even asked if I wanted to come back another day so Id have more time to make my choices. I think there needs to be more staff there during hours. Due to all the procedures for Covid, every time you try on a pair of glasses, they have to be cleaned. If you dont have proper staffing, the glasses cant be cleaned in a timely manner making customers have less choices to pick from. This is what happened during my visit. My choices were very limited. I will think twice before I come back again. Now I have to wear glasses on my face for a whole year that I dont like.
The customer service was awful. After waiting 40 minutes for our appointment, they never apologized once for our inconvenience. They proceeded to tell us to call corporate, and ask for more workers on duty. They were acting as if we were inconveniencing them. Not to mention this was only a contact follow up. The doctor was the only one that treated us with respect
Been going here for several years now. I’m always greeted within a few minutes of entering the store. They have a wide selection of frames to choose from and the staff has always been courteous and helpful. Turn around is about 10 business days (give or take) from the time of ordering. I always stop in to get my glasses adjusted and they’re always happy to help, even if there’s a line, I’m helped within 10 minutes.
I honestly didnt know what to think before I went in, but I was surprised at the great level of service I was given. Kathy, and Karen were really helpful. The optometrist was right on target with my eyes and the exam special was $29. They gave me a honest fair price. I wear very very strong prescription glasses and they did a great job making the lenses (Thindex), and they got the lenses correct the first time unlike some other places Ive been to. The $89 plastic frames I picked out are good quality and the hinges are strong for the price . I will continue to do business with them and would highly recommend the Westminster Visionworks to anybody.
New manager Lisa did an amazing job helping me with my eye care needs.She made excellent recommendations and made me really feel welcome.Since shes been there its amazing how customer service and friendliness have improved 10 fold.I really suggest you give this store a try!Thank you Lisa and team for exceeding my expectations.You have a customer for life!
The doctor was so thorough and explained everything to me. Ive had annual eye exams, but never really learned anything from them. This location was different. They took the time to explain what was being checked and the result that was found. I purchased frames and lenses for the family and we were completely satisfied with our entire experience in this store.
Staff was very nice and the doc was wonderful. However, I was told on a Monday that the glasses would be ready by Friday. They were not ready. Told to come back the next day after 6 pm. Did that. Glasses were ready. However, now that I have gotten home, I have noticed an irregularity on my left lens. Not even going to bother dealing with them. I originally was going to give a higher score on this place until I remembered that glasses and contacts are their trade... I cant see earning much higher than this.
Been trying for 2 hours to get in contact with this store to get a copy of my prescription. Idk what’s going on but I’m frustrated.
My family and I had our visit with Vision Works back in July to get our initial eye exams done and we all ended up needing glasses which wasnt a complete shock to us. It was the longest visit for an eye exam that we have ever had...4 hours!!! However, that is not why I am writing this review. I am writing this review to rave about an employee by the name of Karen. I have dealt with her several times regarding my 7 year olds glasses; adjusting them, tightening them, etc. I went in today to pick a pair that had to be replaced and my sons second pair ended up being defected but Karen was FANTASTIC!!!! Shes friendly and extremely helpful, and in my case shes a problem solver. I have dealt with other associates in the store and Karen is by far the best to deal with! In my opinion, Vision Works you have a keeper here. So in closing, my 5 star review is definitely not for the fist time visit but for the professional customer service of Karen.
Great service at this vision works! My whole family has gotten eyeglasses here. And they have weekend hours, thats the best part!!!
Would give zero stars if I could. The staff of this store are very unprofessional. Called prior to coming to the store and was told my glasses repair (which they messed up from the start) was happening as we spoke and would be finished within a half hour. Arrived at the store two hours later and they couldnt find the glasses. Once they finally found them, they were not even started! I calmly expressed my aggravation to the store manager on duty and she raised her voice to me with a store full of people and started having a fit like she was a toddler. Worse customer service I have ever encountered!!
Dr. Tuleen Alam examined both my husband and myself. It was the best eye exam weve had from an optometrist. She was VERY thorough, talked re: related health issues (hypertension, macular degeneration, pros/cons of multifocal products, glaucoma, product choices) and provided an education to us. She was timely, respectful and advisory. Could not have given more.Also received good service from other staff. Tightened hinge on existing glasses, had researched our insurance and knew what out of pocket vs. coverage provided. Recd. rebate form for contacts. Love that billing insurance component is provided by the company, preventing us from having to file for reimbursement.
Great customer service and knowledgable about lens options. Willing to work with outside prescriptions.
This company and the staff have been very helpful in getting all of my students eyes checked. Karen and Tiffany provided outstanding customer service. Will continue to do business with this companys location.
I made an appointment to change contacts. Two employees told me there would be no cost associated with the visit after looking up my account up in the computer. I show up and they inform me that they were going to charge me for an exam. The manager told me she did not care what I was told and had to pay for an exam. Good bye Visionworks.

Id give it none if I could. Although I guess the cheap exam deserves one star. The doctor was mostly professional. But I asked more than once if I would be able to get a full copy of my prescription and pupil distance, BEFORE my exam, as I planned to order online. I was assured yes, I would be given a copy and then they could measure. As I was checking out I asked again. And one of the women up front VERY rudely began to tell me about how online glasses are inferior, and she isnt taking responsibility for that. And how she wouldnt even dare touch them and adjust them for me and no one else would either. First off, I should have been told in the first place, instead of lied to, that I would in fact not be allowed to know my PD. Second, there was zero need to be so incredibly rude about it. A simple no Im sorry would have sufficed. But she felt the need to be condescending, and that was entirely unnecessary. Sorry I cant afford hundreds of dollars for glasses when theres perfectly good ones online. Oh well. Lesson learned

After reading a few reviews from 7mo ago I was uneasy what to expect. But all the ones more recently were positive and they took my insurance so i made my appt. Dr. Alam was fantastic, thorough and quick, the staff made sure I was seen and heard. Unlike old reveiwers, I had NO problem getting copies of my prescription and PD to get back up glasses online. The new management has made ALL the difference I think. Anyone who had a bad experience 7+mo ago I encourage you to try them again the difference is tangible.
The exam was fine but they didnt really have any lenses that I liked. Out of all of the available selections I found one frame. I took them home and two days later the frame cracked. Since then it has been a miserable experience trying to get anyone to call me back. I was told three times but Tiffany would call me back and she has not, I was told she would call me on Thursday and it is now Saturday and I have not received a call. Once I get my frames I will never shop here again.
Dr Alam was amazing. Staff were super helpful and friendly and I’ll definitely be recommending all of my friends and family to come to this location!
Awful place, and here is why:I came here today November the 17th of 2016 at 5:35. My intention was to get new glasses and after a 5 minute conversation with a lady that didnt seem to understand that I wanted new glasses I got an appointment with the doctor made for 6:30. There were 2 people in front of me with appointments for 6:00 and 6:15, the lady obviously didnt tell us that. Time went by and it was already 6:30, so I went to ask the doctor when I was going to have my appointment and I didnt get any answer (the 2 people in front of me were still waiting). Later, an old man attended me very professionally I have to say. He was very polite and educated and everything went well with him. At 7:15 the person with the appointment for 6:15 left the place, and I still wasnt called for my 45 minute late appointment, my father came in and he was really angry that I didnt get called. After that we waited until 7:30, and this guy with glasses (the manager) started whistling and acting oblivious in front of us because he knew that we were mad, he didnt ask anything, he didnt apologize or anything like that, he just whistled and avoided us as we were pieces of crap. A minute later some ladies got called by the doctor, and they had an appointment at 6:45! The doctor completely ignored us! And after my dad told the doctor that we had an appointment before them and that we were waiting there for almost two hours she answered: Well get to you as soon as we can. We obviously werent going to wait anymore with an incompetent doctor that ignored the proper order of the appointments and didnt respect us as costumers, so my dad told the oblivious lady that he wanted his $10 back and that we werent going to go to this place anymore, instead of apologizing or anything she just gave him his money back and answered that it wasnt their fault, that it was the doctors (typical argument of an incompetent person, just blaming other coworkers, shameful) and my dad got really angry and said that they should be ashamed by the way they run their business, after that the manager intervened and said: Excuse me sir, Im the manager of this store, I would like you to leave. Of course we left. And after spending nearly two hours in the store for nothing, a poor treatment and an extremely late appointment that never happened, they didnt even apologize. They dont care about their costumers, only their money. Were obviously not going there anymore, and from my own experience, I wouldnt suggest anybody to go here.Appreciate your time, whoever read this,have a wonderful day
Dr Valerie Smith was very nice, but the staff have no idea what customer service is. They never called me when my glasses came. Then I needed to get my records and I spoke with Peggy the same lady that didnt call me and she was going to call me as soon as she got my records, once again she didnt call. I called her she put me on hold for over 20 min. They got my lenses put backwards on the glasses and laughed about it. Never ever will I go back. Stay away from these people.
Rude staff! don’t waste your time doing your business here. Specially with Susan R. I don’t know why they would hire people like them. They tell you a bunch of lies.
How disappointing this experience was. The main reason I chose them was because the had a brand of frames I liked. The staff was overwhelmed trying to figure out my insurance. Then I was directly lied to by the manager Susan about the quality of the glare coating I was to receive. It was only through the grace of GOD I caught it. Go to them if you dare!!

Incompetent and lazy staff with ineffective management. Came here five years ago and was helped by Andrew who was excellent but this time it was the complete opposite. I will never do business here again.
Just a horrible place to go. Disorganized, unprofessional and incompetent. They tried to charge me full price saying my insurance didnt cover my visit, when it did, which they eventually concluded was accurate. Never go there. My prescription has been wrong since my visit.

I would not recommend this place to anybody. The people who worked there were way to lazy to check my insurance for coverage and the amounts. I had to call my insurance myself and proceed to argue with Visionworks that I did have coverage and they covered X amount. My husband also had his eyes examined at the same time and of course had the same issues. I will never go back there ever, because its clear they dont need the business.
I had appointments at this place today in the employees were too lazy to pick up the phone and make a phone call to my Insurance company to see if I have coverage to get my eyes examined and to get some eye glasses so I took it upon myself to call my Insurance company to find out if I had coverage which I did and they still try to tell me that I did not. They made it very clear that they did not want my business.
Ive only gone once but the staff were very patient with me: helped me decide between two pairs of frames after them waiting for me to decide two hours later (apologies to staff, bad decision maker) and three different staff members were very kind to me and genuinely tried to help with my decision.Afterwards, since they had the prescription there to make them,they said they were ready to pick up next day, and were, so got them the day after next since I was busy.
