What a great experience I had using this garage to work on my E46. The owner is super helpful, and the setup worked great for what I needed. The dogs in the office were a nice bonus too!As someone who does all her own wrenching, its nice to find a garage with a lift so that I dont have to do the hard stuff on my back, in my driveway. Mike was delightful to chat with and offered help as needed. I had my own tools, so didnt need to use his, but they are there if needed. As someone who maintains an older car, this type of business is a blessing to have around and I am sure I will be back many more times. Also as a BMW owner, it was great to have a BMW indy shop two doors down which helped me find a hard to find part. I literally cant wait to go back here!

Gearhead Garage is great! Its so nice to have a space like this to work on my cars myself. It takes less than half as long compared to working in my driveway, and its much cheaper than going to a shop. Mike (the owner) is generally happy to help you understand the tools and will help you troubleshoot things if needed. Lots of specialty tools available for most jobs.

I’ve done a good bit of work on my Jeep myself but hadn’t had the chance to tackle suspension because I didn’t have a lift. Gearhead garage was the perfect spot to install my new coils, shocks, and track bar! Prices are more than fair, all tools are readily available, and you won’t find a nicer shop owner than Mike! Such a great garage if you’re looking to work on your own projects.

Through thick and thin, mike the owner has always been there for me when I need his shop. Truly awesome man and can’t thank him enough. Spent longer than scheduled, had transmission fluid basically everywhere and managed to help, all with a big smile on a extremely hot day at record temperature of 109. I previously posted a bad experience, however, I believe in his honor and still made things work out again beautifully. You rock mike!

They had all of the tools that I needed to put a 6 lift kit on my truck. Mike is a super friendly guy, and will teach you something new if you just ask! If you are looking to be your own mechanic this is a fantastic pay by the hour garage. For $30/hr you get access to the tools available and a hydraulic car lift. If you have an troubles with anything or need a specific tool (or directions on how to use a tool :) Owner Mike is close by and happy to share his knowledge and/or assist you however he can. While helping a friend put new brakes on I ended up snapping two crucial bolts in half with a torque wrench.😱 A moment of panic later, Mike had two new ones ordered up and twenty minutes later they were delivered. 😅

Immediately upon meeting michael I knew I found a friend. I seem to spend about a fourth of my time hanging on the couch and just talking. I was recommended Gearhead by an auto store employee and I’m so glad they did. I was able to do what I needed to to get my car as close to home as possible considering how bad the issue was and the fact that I was 9 hours from home. The owner of the shop was incredibly nice with the bonus of two sweet dogs in the office. If this place was anywhere near my home I’d use it for every repair and upgrade.

The guy Mike and Son really made me feel welcome. A very needed and welcomed business. I almost just wish I knew how I could get more involved in helping such a great business with such an amazing owner reach then surpass any goal to either expand or move forward with opening a secound location.

Really helpful staff, clean, easy to use equipment. My only negative comments are that they do not appear to be following covid-19 protocol, staff was not wearing masks.

Owner was super nice and a total Gearhead himself. Had a good selection of tools to use. Each bay has their own tools box available and they still had a few of the less common tools in the lobby. Price was great. Lifts make work easy. Will definitely come back again for my next project.

It was so easy installing my front lip for my 2019 WRX at Gearhead Garage. I rented a bay with a lift and it was a breeze! No leaning under the front end awkwardly, I just stood there and installed it. The owner Mike was very helpful and such a nice guy. I’m definitely going back for additional installs. The shop is covered in dust and work benches are oily.. I would never open an engine here. The office is frekn filthy with dirt and the stench of unkept dogs knocks you over.... The owner is typical NW .... If you are from somewhere else you know what I meant.

Mike is the absolute best. Prices are highly reasonable. Tools and advice are unparalleled. Hes trustworthy and friendly and his business is all about giving gearheads a space they can easily work in with easy access to tools and advice. Great place to make friends and approach a new project. The clubhouse is great for hanging out and the community feel is really accepting. I love to go and see what everyone is working on and possibly lend a hand. Learning is encouraged any everyone loves a helping hand, even if you dont know s***z.

Awesome!The shop is awesome! Mike is awesome! If you are even semi-mechanically inclined, you can come here and work-on/fix your vehicle. It is so easy when you have the right tools and set-up. I had 2 things I wanted to do. After watching a YouTube video, I was ready, I just needed the right tools. I thought one fix would take 30 min With the right tools but only took about 10 min! All because I was able to use the right tools. I would definitely recommend Gearhead Garage and I will be back!

Excellent experience! I came in to replace a ball joint that I had been struggling with at home for over two days, with a lift and the proper tools I was able to get it out and the new one installed within an hour. Mike was very helpful and friendly. I have never used a lift before, but he was more than happy to show me how get my car on and operate it safely. Its amazing that we have this shop in our community. It is run by friendly people and charges very fair prices. 100% will be back again and recommend Gearhead Garage to anyone who intends to do any work on their car.

Im grateful for Mike he provides an excellent service for the motor enthusiast. Ive carried out several projects at Gearhead Garage. The latest was a transmission swap for my ol square body suburban. Its really fantastic being able to just pull up with my parts and have a lift and all the tools I need at my disposal. I have saved a lot on tools that I would otherwise only use once. A lot of cool tools there. Best of all is the hospitality and extra hand/knowledge when needed. Diamond in the rough.

I would like to use this place, but their competitors in Washington have bays for $10 and bays with lifts for $20. I wish it was cheaper, I need a space to do auto work. Seems like a in demand service though.

Mike is an amazing guy who is running an amazing business for any gear head like myself. I needed to refasten some plastics under my cars bumper, so I went to Gearhead Garage to do it. The whole place was awesome. There were young guys and gals fixing a 24 hour Lemons racecar right next to my little Honda and it was a blast to be around good people. Everyone was super friendly, a couple people even lent advice on how to fasten things correctly! Mike gave me some plastic fasteners AND industrial strength zip ties for free!Clean shop, very cheap, very friendly and down to earth people. No wonder Mikes garage has a perfect score.

We decided to rent a bay for the first time and our experience was incredible. We went in to replace my clutch, and Mike was AWESOME! He even jumped in the help us out when things got tough. What an awesome place! Im an ok shade-tree mechanic and was in Oregon for a few weeks when my water pump starting leaking from the weep hole. I was dreading paying a shop to do the job and then going in after to check their work (Ive had some bad experiences), but thankfully I found Gearhead Garage. I have been to Gearhead Garage on several occasions now and it is a great facility with great equipment for getting the job done. There are lifts, normal bays, impact tools, and many other specialty tools. There is enough equipment to do just about anything up to and including engine swaps. The best part is that everything is indoors. Mike who is the owner and manager is very friendly and helpful and promotes a good community of car lovers. Recently the shop expanded its hours making this place even better. Prices are very reasonable by the hour, but be careful, you might be having too much fun and the hours will roll on by.

I came here a while back to replace my suspension, what should have been an easy job turned into a more difficult one than expected due to rust, breaking bolts, etc. But Mike the owner and the other employee (I forget his name) were SUPER helpful. Mike helped me hands on when I got stuck by recommending tools, giving me advice and even cutting off a bolt that I sheared in half. On top of this already great service he ordered pizza for everyone in the shop! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!
