Fair price, fast service, very thorough inspection of breaks and suspension system. Told me the goods and bads, and what I needed now, and what could be done down the road. Didnt try to sell me things I didnt need. Didnt pressure me, gave me choices. All in all I really liked this place. Ill be back 😊

Justin the manager at Brake Force was great to work with. When several other shops were booked, Justin saved my day and got me in! He was helpful, informative, and professional. I went in with all four of my brakes badly worn. Brake Force showed me my worn pads, and explained to me how to prevent the problem from occurring again. Turnaround time was reasonable! I will definitely be bringing my vehicle here for more work in the future.

I spent $500 on a terrible brake job. The brakes squeaked for months until finally I went to a real shop that knew what they were doing. They told me the brake pads I got at Brake Force were cheap and of a poor quality. Brake Force ripped me off and one of the employees told me while I was there, “people tell us their brakes squeak” after service and assured me it would be fine. Well it’s not fine. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

Brake Force inspected my rear brakes at no charge. They were still 60% good. I have confidence in their appraisal & honesty. This is my second time there. I will return again & again.Lynn

My starter died right outside this shop. Rather than call AAA and tow to my normal shop, I walked in and asked if they could help. Justin and his team jumped right on it and checked to make sure they had the part in stock. I was lucky that they had a bay open and were able to get me in right then. 60 mins later I was on my way home with a new starter. These guys have earned my business.

My dad showed me this shop when I got my first car and they have done plenty solid work on it. Ive used their service a few many times as well as my dad. They have always had great, fast, friendly, and reliable service at a really good price.Unfortunately my dad passed away. Over the years we got to know the staff here, particularly Justin. When I had told him the news about my dads passing he had a genuine sadness and gave condolences. I asked if they could change the oil in my dads vehicle so my mom could drive it. Justin made sure there was no charge for the service this time, it was unspoken but obviously it was out of respect for my dad being a long time customer with multiple vehicles.Im not one to leave a review unless something goes really wrong or really right. For what I had done, they were great. They gave me an honest assessment of a problem that I already knew about, yet was hoping was not as serious. Called to get a quote on my brakes because they were suppose to have some kind of special, but of course, they made sure to leave the door open for additional charges which makes me super leary! Really rude!! My car is in great shape only 2 months out from a tune up and all I need is a basic brake change for the price offered! They couldnt just agree to that by phone so I knew I was headed for trouble if I carried it to them for service! If they are honest mechanics then I hate that it didnt work out but my experiences with mechanics are that when they start leading you in to replacing something that isnt broken and they havent even examined your car it is a recipe for disaster!!

I went to JiffyL for an oil change for a road trip. They said I needed brakes. I got a second opinion from Brake Force and saved $500.00 on an unnecessary brake job. Need I say more? Oh! I was getting my windshield replaced next door and my clutch stopped working. Despite being busy they agreed to look at my car because I was basically stuck at that point. Turned out to be a broken clutch peddle assembly which they were able to actually re-weld the broken piece and actually made it stronger than the original unit. My brakes have been squeaking. I previously had my front rotors and brakes replaced so I assumed it was the rear brakes making sounds. Ive been going to Brake Force for years, with several cars. The best thing is you never leave feeling ripped off. Justin in the front office is straightforward, friendly, and helpful.

I brought my beloved Saab 9-3 Viggen in to the shop for manual transmission work a few years ago. They charged me thousands of dollars & it turns out that they used old salvaged cracked used parts to repair the car & it broke again soon after, this time causing the engine to be rendered useless. When I went to have it towed by the flatbed, the tow hook was missing, as it was never put back in the trunk by Brake Force mechanic. I added this with the manager & he had someone look briefly around the shop & said there was both he could do. He refused to replace my tow hook & would not guarantee the work they performed. Another more reputable mechanic later showed me the cracked parts they used Brake Force. I can’t believe Break Force is still in business. I’m only writing this very heartfelt & scathing review now, because they sent me an unsolicited email just now. Feel free to contact me Brake Force, you still owe me at least a tow hook.

I had a problem with my calipers that were replaced 6 months ago. The seals on both of them failed (Manufacturers Fault). Justin ordered and replacement set and new pads from a different Manufacturer and replaced them under warranty.

Please do not waste your time or money here, until Brake Force falls under new management. I took my car in in January, and since then, new problems have arisen every time I have had to take it in, and I am now left with a car with jammed seat heaters and a hood that cannot be opened... when I came in with a transmission issue. My car has broken down in an intersection, there have been nuts and bolts left in my cupholder and car parts left on my passenger seat, and the manager, Justin McCann, always responds asking me to bring my car back in and when I pick it up, there are even more new issues. The manager Justin McCann also exhibits predatory and inappropriate behavior towards women, and has chalked up his behavior to the world has changed so hell adjust accordingly. Never has sexual harassment been okay.

Originally left a good review and will stand by saying the customer service was great, however after getting my van back it sat for a few weeks until I went on a road trip where I discovered they only hand tightened my lug nuts so I lost a few and had lots of issues with wobbling on my trip. Very unhappy with the end result.

Work was done quickly and they did good work. This is now my default shop.

This place does great business!! I came in with a broken shift linkage from a rare older sports car that is extremely difficult or impossible to find parts for. They were able to fix the linkage by welding on a replacement piece that I brought in and did not charge me even though I agreed to pay shop labor times. It was also really fast!Ask for Justin, he will help you out and give you honest advice!

Got the rear brakes done for about $100 less than another reputable shop quoted for the work, and scored a better set of four tires installed than the deal I was getting at a week known regional tire shop. The manager exhibited predatory behavior. He said I love you to me when I was saying it to my dad on the phone. He asked questions like, what would it take to be your best, best friend? The service was inappropriate, the manager made me feel so uncomfortable. It also took them 5 hours to change 3 things, pair of shoes, brake wheel cylinder, and rear drums. The whole experience was unappreciated. I warn single, young women who come in; you may be preyed on by the manager, Justin. On top of everything, the manager wasn’t wearing a face mask and there was no COVD-19 measures in place other than 1 sign saying to socially distance.

I always dread going to a shop or doing any sort of maintenance on my car. I just dont know much about cars and always feel completely out of my element. Love this place I have had them work on several of our cars as well as I referred my daughter here and she was also given excellent customer service. I had my breaks done a few months ago and a few months later I was hearing some loud squeaking and when I brought it in they let me know that it was the back breaks and because of their warranty I was able to get it fixed for free. They are SUPER kind and extremely honest. They could have lied and blamed something else for it and charged me but they were honest with me and I really appreciated that. Thank you Brake force team in Tigard for being completely honest with me. I had gotten a oil change at jiffy lube on hwy 99 in Tigard 2 weeks ago and they informed me that my front breaks were at 35% and back was at 50% and gave me a reasonable quote. I called back 2 weeks later and they told me a completely new price which was about a hundred dollars more. So I decided to call around to find a place more reasonable. I called Brake Force and they gave me a great quote so I made an appointment. I brought my car in today and dropped it off and not more than a 1/2 hr later I get a text from them that my brakes are fine and still almost brand new and at 90%. Thank you for being a professional company and being honest! Wheny brakes do get to the point to be changed I will definitely return and definitely recommend your company....

GM Justin is a rock star! Great, friendly service and organized and quick - that’s the best I could ask for when I have to get work done on a vehicle (which is never fun!!).

Justin was helpful when I was in a bind, and from out of town. The place was very busy, on a Saturday, and they were extremely accommodating. One of the cool things about waiting for service here is being able to cruise through downtown Tigard. I had not been able to do that in a few years. The local merchant appreciated the business and my $ helped the retail world go round. Also, there is a great burger place called Baileys Burgers and Brews, that can keep you fed while you wait. Back to Brake Force, the service was great, the prices were fair, and the FREE oil change was icing on the cake.
