Had an eye exam in March there, came back in September cuz things were still fuzzy she checked my daughter gave her another prescription tried on contacts in the office still fuzzy tried another prescription still fuzzy Dr Terrell had to go to another patient, I told the front office she could not see still did not buy any contacts had to go to another optometrist and get another prescription and now she sees fine. Tried to call and talk about it, Dr Terrell is hard to get a hold of. Spent a lot of money for nothing.

I waited 2 hours total to get seen by the doctor and checked out. I had an appointment and they made me confirm it four times before actually arriving to my appointment.The people were nice but the doctor didn’t see me until an hour after my actual appointment time.Got glasses and contacts and spent over $650 there. I had to call them to check if my glasses arrived at the store. Picked them up, fit fine. Two weeks have passed and I called again to check the status of my contacts. I was told they were going to be shipped to my house—only to find out the girl who put in my order sent it to the wrong address...the street address was correct but the city and zip were completely wrong.The girl I spoke to on the phone tried to make it seem like it was my fault saying that that’s the address I had on file from a previous appointment...told her that was my first time.So now she tells me I need to wait longer and call them back in 3 days and if it’s not shipped back to the store they’ll have to reorder it again...I’m a patient person but this is ridiculous. If you tell your patients that you’re gonna ship things to their house you should confirm the address. If I knew this was going to happen I would’ve rather picked it up myself from the store...

I get my eye exam here every year because of the phenomenal customer service and the selection is amazing. I chose a pair of everyday glasses and a pair of sunglasses. My first no line bifocals on clear frames.I like how they can tell you exactly how much your insurance will cover so you can make an adequate decision based on their selection. A+!

Best service ever. Polite, fast, clear.Called in the morning to ask about prices and process. Got clear answers to all of my questions. Scheduled eye exam for same afternoon, no waiting time, polite and professional eye doctor, no surprises. Highly recommended!

I had been going to Target Optical for years and didnt realize how bad it was till I started going to a real eye doctor. First, I verified with them that they took my insurance before my eye exam and they confirmed they did. After my eye exam I was checking out and they verified my address from their system where they found my insurance and it was a totally different state, they looked up a totally different person in a completely different state to say that they took my insurance! Even though they realized they made this mistake they still charged me full price for my exam (that did not include insurance). This was their fault they looked up my insurance wrong, not mine! Lastly, now that I have gone to a real eye doctor I realized that my glasses prescription was totally wrong and too weak for years! My contacts are a -3.50 and they had me at -3.25 for glasses when a glasses prescription should be stronger than your contact prescription. I told them multiple times my glasses seemed blurry compared to my contacts and they told me it was fine for years!!! Completely horrible service and incompetent, go to a real eye doctor.

Im only giving two stars because the optometrist was great, everything else about my experience with this office shows how incompetent they are overall. From my misplaced appointment that I made in person, to them not taking the time to record an important measurement needed to order glasses online. Absolutely frustrating from start to finish, and now I have to make another appointment to get the missing measurement.

I have been going to Dr. LeeAnn Tyrrell at the Target in Thornton for at least 10 years, and she is the best! She is always super nice and very professional and knowledgeable, in my experience. Her eye exams seem very thorough. She is really patient and answers all my questions. I am a contact lens wearer, and she has even fit me in several times in the middle of a busy day to check why my eyes were dry or irritated (usually allergies) and recommended solutions. She and her staff have always been friendly and professional, in my experience, and thats why I keep going back!

Dont expect them to verify your insurance for you, even if you ask when you set your appointment two weeks ahead. I had to call them 30 minutes before my appointment to let them know it needed to be verified due to phone call I had with them the day prior and they let me know that I still had to verify a through my insurance company because they didnt have enough information, even thought they verified the same plan before. You would think this is something they would tell you before your appointment before your on your way especially when they told you they would call you back the day before if there were any issues. Now my insurance will be expiring and I dont have a prescription. Incredibly disappointed with the staff here and the lack of help in a frustrating situation.

We’ve been going to Dr. Tyrrell for almost 12 years. She always takes the time to answer all questions. I had an “urgent” visit with her after a botched PRK surgery. She didn’t charge me at all. I’d give 5 stars, except the OD that works there now and then leaves a lot to be desired.

Total Mess. Almost 4 weeks later, still have problems. Charged incorrectly. Refunded incorrectly. Bought frames for glasses, and was never measured or fitted. Sometimes you get a return phone call. Given trial contact lenses to try, with the understanding I would call to order the ones I preferred. Wrong contacts ordered in the meantime, instead. FIVE visits later I still dont have glasses nor contacts. Office manager insists I ordered contacts. Never finished the trials to determine which ones I wanted in the first place. Took time off work to go in to get refund, receptionist had no idea what to do and was new. Calling again today (call #6) because was suppose to get a call from office manager last week. Never happened. Look elsewhere.

Ive never been treated so rude by employees. I dont know who was worst to deal with, the receptionist or the eye doctor but both were a very unpleasant experience. The sales werent anything special and the employees were not friendly whatsoever. I do not recommend.

My first review ever, but thought people should know. I arrived 10 min. early for appointment. Receptionist said, shes running behind so if you would like to go do some shopping, we can call you when were ready.Im at Target, so sure Ill go pick up a couple things we need. About 20 minutes later the receptionist calls me and says theyre ready. I tell her Ill head right to the checkout and be there after. Lines were long so it probably took me 5-7 minutes to check out and get to the optical dept.I walk in and the Dr. says, Oh Im so sorry youre late, we have a staff meeting in like 4 minutes so I wont be able to examine you until after our meeting. I said, I cant do that, I have another appointment. Then she said, Well youre just going to have to come back another day. I said, I dont think I will. Have a nice day. What the heck?? What kind of customer service is that?? Get your grapes in a bunch Target Optical and please realize that my time is as valuable as yours. Booo Hisss for organization and customer service.

Extremely disappointed! I made an appointment to get my new eye exam for contacts because the person that answered the phone said that they couldn’t give me my prescription for Freshlook contacts since I was due for a new exam on June 29th. I told her that all they were doing was change the brand and stated that they could not give me the prescription and I needed to go in. I made the appointment for today, I got off of work early only to get there and be told that I couldn’t get my exam because my insurance will not cover it until after June 29th. I received no call or email saying that I couldn’t get the exam today which would have saved me getting off work early and the hour of traffic. She said they did call me and left a voicemail, yet I had not one call missed from them. I asked the doctor if I could get a temporary pair of contacts and she stated that she would only give me one if I bought the contacts through her or got a new exam. Mind you, I’ve been going there for like 3 years in a row this would have been my 4th year. Needless to say, I will look for a new optometrist that cares about loyalty and customer service. Also, the person answering the phones obviously didn’t know the information because as I was about to leave she told me I could get new contacts through my insurance when I had called before I ordered my contacts online and I was told that my insurance would not cover them. SMH! 🤦🏽‍♀️

I visited the clinic on a trip to Colorado.I love Dr. T and the staff at this Target! OMG! Sooo sweet!Even the manager Nikki? Was there on her DAY OFF and helped patients!Dr. Terell found a health problem during my exam and suggested I see my doctor.I did and thank God! If left undetected I could have not treated the illness and it could have become life threatening!I have seen other Docs who noticed something but didnt know what it was..Not this Doc.. she knew what she was looking at.Great job to everyone there! Wish you all could be at all Targets!!

Worst place to get glasses. We got the protection plan for our sons glasses that is $25 to replace glasses and lenses if you break them. Well. Somebody over there is pocketing money. They made us pay $25 for lenses and $25 for the frames. BS
