I went in for a scheduled appointment that was made online. And I received a confirmation of my future visit via email.And when I went in today I was told my appointment couldnt be found and I wasnt in the system. The lady at the desk couldnt really give me a clear answer as to WHY this happened.The staff didnt really seem to care at all, and I was frustrated with their inability to be more helpful to say the least.Perhaps this place should give themselves an eye exam so they can better read their own emails sent to customers. (Automated or otherwise)
Dr. Ramos failed to document my new contact prescription after my eye exam so I kept getting put back into my old prescription. She had given me contacts to test and I could see amazingly well. I went to order them, and they only had my old contact power documented. I explained several times to everyone I spoke with and no one seemed to understand. Even her assistant mentioned there was no record of a new prescription. I went back twice complaining that I couldnt see clearly and asking to get my eyes rechecked so I could get the correct contacts, which they would not do. The third time in, I was told by Dr. Ramos that I would be charged the next time I came in- even though this whole screw-up has been her fault for lack of proper documentation. I can see slightly better than when I first walked into their office now, however I am still not in the correct contacts.I believe my eye exam prescription was documented under my glasses category instead of contacts by mistake. Ive never dealt with glasses at this office and they have a high power entered under glasses for me, which my glasses are about 5 years old and three eye Drs ago and a really weak power.Never once did anyone apologize for my inconvenience. They acted as if I were being a nuisance.My recommendation to anyone reading this is to get your prescription in writing before you walk out the door. That would have saved me so much time and frustration.
From the moment I called to schedule an eye exam I knew I was going to be happy with this facility. The person that answered was friendly, knowledgeable, and provided info right away for my insurance and costs associated for 2 eye exams. The follow-up reminders helped ensure that my eye appointment was never forgotten. When my son and I arrived I noticed the great care that they took to ensure COVID was taken seriously. Easy temperature check, then immediately cleaned up the area. It certainly made me feel comfortable that they care about their own safety and the safety of their clients. The doc and her assistant were very thoughtful and helpful. They took the time to answer all questions and provided most answers before I had to ask anyway. Paperwork was a breeze, people were great, and it was clean...I would highly recommend.

My spouse and I have been coming here for years and wouldnt think of going anywhere else for our glasses. The care we received here is second to none. Sandy, our eye technician, is caring and meticulous about everything she does. God bless her.
The drs are awesome. Very informational and helpful. They listen to your concerns and come up with solutions. The reason they only got 4 stars is because the ladies at the front desk greeted me with a grunt. As if I was bothering them. Should not be people facing employees!
I have been wearing contacts and glasses since I was a child. I found out I have astigmatism about 9 years ago at a different doctor, and just always assumed my contacts and glasses were never going to be completely crystal clear because of that. Yesterday, I went for my first appointment here, and they actually discovered I have a cornea diagnosis that needs to be treated and needs consistent monitoring, and this is why I’ve never had a true fit. I feel like that news changed my life, and I go in for specialty contacts in a couple weeks. I feel that I would have continued going without knowing this for years if I had not gone here for my eye exam! Thank you, I definitely recommend going here
Worst customer service so glad Im not trusting my eyes to this provider. Even if I didnt have insurance, and I have plenty. You might have considered I might pay with cash... of which I have too. Oh well again bullet dodged in my book.

With Covid I have had real reservations going in for an exam. However, I had A great experience at Colorado I center in East Lake. The staff is friendly and Lori was so helpful finding new frames that suited me. I highly recommend this establishment for your eye care needs!
I went Colorado Eye Center to look at frames after having my eyes tested elter. Heather helped me with trying on several pairs of glasses, giving valuable opinions. Turns out, the first pair I tried on were the perfect fit. I picked up my glasses a few days later. Heather helped me again that day. They look and fit great. She went above and beyond with her service and expertise. Very pleasant experience. I highly recommend Colo. Eye Center.
Ive been going here for years and its a great place! All the staff are really nice and they wont hesitate to help you out. I went there recently, and Lori helped me pick out my next pair of glasses. She made the process very easy and I look forward to going back to pick up my glasses.
When calling in to make my first appointment I was told that my insurance would cover all costs. When leaving yesterday that was not the case at all. I received an unexpected bill. The lady tried to go over my options since I have a credit on my insurance for eye care. It was not clear at all and I felt like I was bothering her with my questions. She ended up lowering the price which I was grateful for, but like I said I was not expecting a bill at all. The cherry on top was when I got home and noticed they had given me the wrong prescription on one of my contacts! See attached picture (OS is supposed to be -1.25 and not -1.50) Ugh! I would not recommend this place to anyone.
I have been going to Colorado Eye Center, on and off (long story involving insurance), for about a decade. I came back when I finally could and am happy with the service and professionalism they provide. I had an appointment with Dr. Kumar yesterday, and she was fast and knowledgeable.
I went in to get contacts and was told I was going to have to pay $130 for my exam when I only have a $10 copay. The front desk receptionist cathy tried robbing me of $130 plus some more due to not mentioning the biofinity rebate. Unbeknownst to her I know how my insurance policy works and she ended up getting the manger who then made me throw away the contacts I was supposed to be testing out. This is the 2nd year in a row Ive had issues with cathy & her misquoting of what patients should pay. Definitely wont be going back next year and will make sure to never recommend this location. Idk what kind of scam this place has going but its cruel to charge someone & also lie when we pay for our coverage all year to get the benefits it has.

Great experience. An employee (Lisa) at this eye center recommended I come in after I was telling her an experince at a chain eye center. I was having huge problem with dry eyes for months with lots of pain. Dr Ramos and Lisa took amzaing care of me and I my eyes are improving everyday! HUGE THANK YOU TO DR RAMOS AND LISA!
The staff is not friendly. The first time they were rude to me I thought it could be a bad day. The second time, I started to feel like it was okay as long as they did a good job. After the third time, thats just how they are usually due to how the practice is run. Whoever is in charge needs to boost morale, this staff is not happy and it shows. Also, my glasses were supposed to take 7-10 days. After that time had passed I expected a call to explain what the hold up was. NOPE! I had to call. They even said not to call, well call you and was told the glasses didnt pass quality control. This happened a 2nd time. So, after poor customer service poor workmanship its time to move on. I cant believe Colorado Eye Center doesnt have a lower Google Review score.

I was greeted at the door promptly with all precautions taken for Covid purposes,I was impressed with extra measures taken by the front office in getting patients screened and taken care of Dr Holtzman was great and took his time in answering all of my questions awesome team great office I will definitely be returning!
My wife and I have been using the Boulder store for the past 10 years or so. The staff has always been great. Dr. Olson his assistant Olivia and Terence were very helpful and professional. We would highly recommend these folks to anyone seeking excellent eye care.
I have an eye doctor that is closed on Saturdays. Called Colorado Eye Center with an emergency Saturday morning and they fit me in with a few hours of my calling. When I arrived Dr. Kumar was AMAZING. She spent quality and quantity time with me and my emergency. Will be switching to this office for future visits.

Had a really good experience here. Doctor was very friendly and thorough. I picked out glasses, and the woman assisting me was very patient and helpful. She offered up opinions when I asked her about frames and there were absolutely no pressure sales tactics. I got exactly what I wanted. The reason 4 stars and not 5, is for two reasons. The receptionist was curt with me and not very friendly at all. Being a new patient, she could have taken the time to at least welcome me to the office, but instead handed me papers and told me to take a seat. Secondly, CEC does run on the pricier side. I wasn’t expecting to pay as much as I did for my glasses (they only carry 1 type of glass, it is German-made, very good but very expensive). Aside from price point, great experience and I would highly recommend.
Had to charge my credit card three separate times. For the exam, my contacts order and my glasses order. Just as I thought, the 3rd time, my card declined because I am sure the bank was thinking fraud. It is not a good situation.

The receptionists and eye visits are good. We enjoyed our eye doctor who has since left and we’ll be following her to her new practice (which is a much farther drive). Getting glasses and replacements has been a nightmare. The kids selection at Eastlake is very limited. We went to the Thornton office to pick glasses. I’ve never done this before and indicated to the staff I needed help. No one helped, so we picked out glasses on our own. After a month my son broke his glasses. I went to Eastlake for the replacements and they informed me the glasses I purchased had been discontinued for 3 years and I was only able to get them in a different color for a free replacement. Why I was able to purchase the glasses in the first place without this information is frustrating. Also, why no one directed me to more durable glasses, which I specifically asked for, is also frustrating I wanted to order Oakley sunglasses. I went in twice trying to order them, but they were busy and told me to wait for the sale they run. I waited a month, attended the sale, and they didn’t even have Oakleys at the sale. After waiting 30 minutes to order during a third visit, I left without anyone helping me. Finally, on the 4th visit I was able to order. I waited a month and the glasses never came in. I called and they said they didn’t have my order. After getting obviously annoyed on the phone they transferred me and managed to find my glasses, which I was told had been sitting at the store for weeks with no call, text, email to pick-up. My other son broke his glasses at the beginning of quarantine. I called the day they reopened and ordered a new pair and new lenses. They wanted to charge me until I told them these are replacements. She asked if I had super glued them to fix them, which I hadn’t, and told me that would nullify my warranty. That seems like pertinent information a non-glassing wearing Mom new to glasses should have been told. We waited a month and finally went to check on the glasses. They said they had been in for a while, and yet again we received no call, text, email. My husband confirmed our information on file is indeed correct. However, when he brought the glasses home the lenses were scratched. He went back in to get the new lenses I ordered and they said they didn’t order new lenses. The staff are friendly, but working with them is insanely frustrating and time consuming. Once these lenses come in we will no longer go here. You should heed the advise and look elsewhere, especially if you’re new to glasses.

Me and my family have been going here for years. Was told to come back with my son to check his eye pressure was never told they were testing for glaucoma. Got a bill for 160 dollars today cause it was considered medical. wish they would have told use I would have gone to are medical provider. My family will never go back to see them. Sad to see how they treat there loyal patients.
I brought myself and my son on to be seen, my son is 5, as soon as we walked through the door we were greeted with smiling faces and we were taken care of right away, not too long after we checked in Dr Morocco actually greeted us herself to bring us back to the room which I was already impressed with. I have only taken my son in 1 time and I wasn’t sure where to set the standard on an eye doctor but Dr Morocco and team have set the standard for me. She was Wonderful with my son and made him very comfortable which In turn helped me as well considering I’ve never been seen by the eye doctor as an adult. The process was thorough and easy, and just to make it even better the doctor even came out with us to help my son find glasses.Everyone here played their part and it seems to be a well oiled machine.I appreciate everyone being so nice, it really makes the difference.
Dr. Kumar was exceptional! First visit with her and we will definitely be seeking her out again next year. Staff was ok but I felt a bit rushed since I was the last appointment of the day.
Lori is great helped me get new glasses and she is always looking out for you to get you the best deals! Both women are wonderful and friendly as well as I never have issues and they really care for you! And even appointments go smoothly and just love it

Our family (parents, kids, grandparents) always has a great experience at the Eastlake Colorado Eye Center. I think weve been going there almost ten years and wont go anywhere else. The entire staff is patient, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They get us in quickly and explain what they are doing thoroughly. They give parents and children the opportunity to stay with each other during the entire process and explain all insurance coverage information accurately. They also explain what is best to pay for with insurance and out-of-pocket so you get the most for your money. They help you pick out glasses/order contacts/adjust glasses, etc. They offer a wide variety of glasses and contacts, even some options for goggles, etc. They carry lots of quality name brands as well. Weve referred many friends, family, and co-workers and everyone has been very happy with their staff, services and products.
It was my first yearly eye exam at this location, and I had the best experience! When I got there, the receptionist was very nice and they already had a print out of my insurance coverage which was convenient and thoughtful (at the place I used to go, they would have trouble accessing my coverage and say that I didnt have insurance). My appointment was right on time, and my new eye doctor was so friendly and took the time to answer all of my questions. Im definitely making this my new office for yearly visits.

Was impressed with the amount of important information. Given to me regarding care for my eyes with diabetes. Great to see a doctor that loves her job and her patients. Ahe educated me on care for dry eyes and aging as well. Im impressed.
After a traumatic experience with a different optometrist, I brought my daughter to see Dr. Marrocco. Not only was she exceptional with my daughter, but she was very thorough and empathetic to her needs. My daughter was immediately at ease with her. I highly recommend!
This review is for the front desk/insurance coordinators. I have been a patient here since the beginning of 2017. Got my exam and glasses here, they are in network with my vision insurance. Recently I started having issues with dry eyes so I made an appointment with my previous doctor. The day of the exam I had some minor procedures done. When I went to check out they informed me that this was a medical exam and the procedures were also medical. So my vision insurance doesnt cover it and I need my medical insurance. They said we had your insurance down as medical when the card clearly states vision. Well I ended up paying out of pocket several hundred dollars, because no one at the front desk told me what type of exam I was in for or what procedure I was getting done. All they had to do is inform me that this was medical and I would have gone to someone in network with my insurance.
My children and I recently went to Colorado Eye Center for exams. The staff was very warm and welcoming, and we loved our doctor too. The entire experience was super positive. We will definitely keep coming back in the future, and I will highly recommend them to any friends who are looking for good optical facilities.

I went to CEC Eastlake for an eye exam. And I thought the actual exam/doctor/assistant were great. Three stars come from the reception and waiting area.This was my first visit to CEC - Eastlake. Its an older building but comfortable. It has a large full service glasses shop with what looks like hundreds of frames to choose. The receptionist that greeted me seemed to be having a bad day and made me feel like an inconvenience to her. She was polite, but her body language said to me that she was unhappy. No smiles and flat speech.The wating room was nicely apportioned with an area for kids as well as a large TV running informational presentations. There were plenty of chairs available. Unfortunately, Im a big boy and there was no seating available to accommodate larger people. Armless chairs serve well for this. So, since this was my first visit, I made sure to arrive twenty five minutes early for any additional paperwork. I was ready with about fifteen minutes to spare and I waited uncomfortably until my appointed time... I continued to wait for an additional twenty minutes before I was called. The rest of the visit was great, with the exception with checking out with the grouchy receptionist.
Dr. Morocco is absolutely the best. Very thorough and caring. Knows her Job. Great advice always and prompt service. Love it there!!!

I had to choose a new Dr because of new insurance. However, from when I walked in the door the front desk staff was not friendly. I waited a half hour for my appointment with no one explaining that they were running late, just watching other people go back for theirs. The Dr herself was nice but the front desk staff did half my exam, which I have never experienced before. I had to call back to ask a question and they were super rude on the phone. I would not suggest this office.
The staff is amazing. Lori was so good at double checking, and making sure I understood everything from insurance to ordering my glasses and contacts.

This was our first time going to the Colorado Eye Center, and other than the handicap parking at the Eastlake location is a very long walk for handicap patients going to CEC, we had a great experience! Dr Broecker was very through, much more than any other place we have been to. The wonderful lady in the frame room picked out the perfect frame in one try, for my husband, and they were fitted perfectly. Would recommend them to family and friends!
