Place is clean, quiet, and professional. Had my eye exam and Dr is very knowledgeable and explained everything to you. Lots of choices for any type of eye glasses. All the staffs have great customer service. Location is easy access and good close by parking for your vehicle.

I used to go the Colorado Eye Center in Thornton as a kid, and started going there again about 7 years ago when I moved back to the area. The doctors and staff there are always friendly, very helpful and do whatever they can to make it a great experience.I wouldnt consider going anywhere else!

By far the best visit I had out of all the eye clinics I have been too. Had an annual eye exam with Dr. Dhaliwal and she was very helpful with figuring out my vision prescription for glasses and contacts. Jody and Dr. Dhaliwal were super sweet and kind to help me pick out the best glasses for my face type and along with them, Carol helped us figure out the insurance coverage and my total payments as well. They were all hands-on and made the experience very warm and welcoming. Highly recommend everyone to come to this location for their eye exams and procedures. Thanks again!
Nice place people who work here have been pleasant. 4 stars because of scheduling issues..first time I came they had no info saved and wrong date for both of our appointments:(. So we had no choice but to reschedule..The dr. was very nice & helpful she seemed to enjoy her job. Eyeglass selection is on the small side.. about 20 min wait after check in before we were seen..
I wouldnt hesitate for a second to recommend colorado eye on Washington Street to my friends and family. This place was not like your every day lens crafters, to me it felt like it was a step or two above those strip mall out fits, Im not saying those places are bad eye care places, cause they arent. Colorado eye care on washinton Street was very professional, treated me with respect, asked me if there was anything I didnt understand and explained every step of the eye exam. Their selection on eye glass frames was decent, with top brand names like Ray ban, Oakley, Carrara and others.
The Doctor was very thorough and the staff extremely helpful and courteous, I will never go anywhere else ever and Ive been to a lot of different places
Everyone at the Colorado Eye Center on 104th & Washington were very professional and kind. I am 68 years old with near distance eye issues and a history of glaucoma in my family. Both Lisa, the eye tech and Dr. Ramos were thorough and very caring. They took the time to answer all of my questions and gave me a complete eye exam. When I left, I felt confident that my eye health was in the very best of care. I will continue to come back for regular check- ups and also feel comfortable calling with any issues that my occur in the future. They was amazing so patient. We was having trouble with my insurance and they didn’t fuse at all they worked through it even though it took over a hour to deal with. Apologizing for the wait even though it wasn’t on them. Was my fault I didn’t know there was a change in the insurance. They helped me with a solution. I will never use any one besides them from here out. There wasn’t one person I dealt with that didn’t go out of there way to make my comfortable.

I made an appointment and purchased eye glasses on January 9, 2021. Today is February 6, 2021, and my glasses are still not available for pickup. Im getting told different shipping and arrival dates. My glasses originally came in but someone had put the wrong lenses in my glasses, and I was told that this would be expedited in 5 business days and its been 10 actual business days since they were re-ordered for a mistake.I have been going to the Colorado Eye Center Thornton location since I was in 4th grade and Im 23 years old now, and have never gone anywhere else since then.If I ever receive my glasses Im not going back. This is absolutely ridiculous.However, on a positive side Jody from the eye glasses department is super kind and understanding about my frustrations.
I had a very positive experience with Dr. Broeker. I have had difficulty getting contacts to fit properly post lasik surgery. In fact another doctor told me that I couldn’t wear contacts. After an exam, Dr. Broeker knew which contacts would work for my eyes. We tried several strengths & I left the office wearing my new contacts & could see perfectly.Ask for Dr Broeker when you schedule your appointment. He’s patient and works with you until you have the right contacts.
My daughter was nervous to know we had to switch to a new eye doctor because she was with her eye doctor for 5 years. Doctor sari Kumar made the transistor so much easier. She was sweet and caring with her. My daughter was very pleased with her visit and said she liked her. Thank you so much!
So impressed with the safe practices put in place during the current health crisis. My visit with the medical staff was everything I would wish, with all questions and concerns met. Very comfortable with the staff and appreciated their kindness, patience and efficiency. Received excellent assistance in selecting glasses as well. Great visit!

Im sure they give great glasses prescriptions but if you have more serious eye concerns go somewhere else. They said losing vision in some of my right eye was normal and happens with age. I got a second opinion and it turns out I have an infection in my eye. Going to see a specialist. I saw doctor Ramos who looks like she just graduated high school.
I would rate this business ZERO stars if I could. My appointment was rescheduled twice. I used a Perdonal Time Off day from work. I was called the day of the appointment and told I would need to reschedule and the person who scheduled it made a mistake. I have been off work due to Covid so money and work are an issue. I am so dissapointed. I wanted to be fitted for contact lenses but was told I would have to pay an additional $60 and another appointment because I didnt tell the doctor during the appointment. I had discussed this with the person who checked me in at my appointment. This was the last straw. I feel their priority is money. They never tried to make this right.
Worst eye Doctor experience ever. Went for an exam on 05/19/2020 & ordered two pairs of glasses. One normal pair & some saftey glasses, keep in mind I brought my own frame for the saftey glasses. About 2 weeks later they said they pair I brought could not be used but didnt give a reasosn. I thought it was odd it took this long for them to figure out they couldnt do the job but whatever. I came back in & selected a pair of saftey glasses from the frames they had available on 05/29/2020. Received a text saying glasses were ready, I called to ask if both pairs were in someone confirmed they were. I go to pick them up & the saftey glassses still not ready. Inconvenient because I didnt want to wear my new glasses at work, thus the saftey glasses I ordered. So fast forward to 07/13/2020 & the saftey glasses finally arrive. The frame is flawed. So about 2 months, 4 visits, & countless phone calls later I get a pair of flawed glasses & now have to wait again for a replacement frame. Was I compensated for any inconveniences I experienced? No I was not, which is ridiculous when you pay for a prescription thats good for one year and then dont receive the glasses until 2 months later. Again the glasses which are flawed. Been going here for 3-4 years & will now be finding another ophthalmologist.

My experience has been positive here. The eye doctor was very nice and efficient. The person who made the visit the best was Stephen the fellow who helped me with my glasses. He was very helpful honest and really went above and beyond to make sure that I found a style that worked for my face. Most other places have just made me stand there and look at the wall of frames and fend for myself.
Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Dr. Moracco took time to actually explain things and answer questions in thoughtful ways that many practitioners dont take the time for. They didnt pressure me to buy lenses from them and were generally very respectful and pleasant. Will definitely be returning in the future. When I needed a copy of my prescription months later they personally dropped it in the mail for me! So very helpful!
It was my first time getting glasses and I was overwhelmed! Mario sat down with me and helped me pick out frame! I really appreciated him taking the time to look at my face and tell me what looked good and what didn’t! Highly recommend!
I just took my kids to the office in Thornton location. Dr. Lohmeyer was great with my kids. Pam was awesome! She was really patience with my kid and helped us pick out a perfect pair of glasses for him. My kids said Pam looks so nice! :) Everyone there are so friendly! Got kewl toy for your eyes. Get the picture of the back of your eyes, great diagnostic for the eye and they will send this info to your family doc.
Dr Eric was nice however their billing is very unorganized. I went in and asked how much my billing was before hand. They contacted my insurance and came back and said everything would be covered except the contacts themselves. I paid $420 before I was able to take my contacts home. Now almost 8 months later I have a bill for $577 dollars. They claim that now my insurance wont pay. It would not have been an issue had I known the first time I went in to make plans for the amount. Going between my insurance and Colorado eye center is a disaster as my insurance is telling me they have billed it as an elective rather than medically necessary as I was told in the office prior to the fitting. Colorado eye center is telling me I dont have coverage and on and on. I referred my grandfather because of Dr Eric and friends from work as well. I will most definitely be letting them know of the way the staff handles their billing. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you go in with your guard up and make sure you contact your insurance yourself. Dont trust what they tell you!
Very friendly people work the front desk. My appointment was with Dr. Eric Broecker. He asked thorough questions and was able to tell me about an old eye injury that I had forgotten to mention. Overall I had a great experience. Thank you to the whole staff!
Buyer beware. This company has several stores and they all give you different prices on the same options. When you question them about it they hang up on you and wont answer your calls or put you on hold forever. They need to be upfront with the pricing. What a sham. Up charging customers.There needs to be some accountability in this industry.
Poor communication skills. I was told in the exam room that the total price today was 139. But by the end I paid over 200 for a eye exam... never come back here again. Wal-Marts vision centers work just fine for half the cost...
Worst place to go they dont seem to do patient care its hurry up make you wait for ever in a room by your self then come in and say 2 word ok your done on to the next person. They should also tell you if things are going to be an extra cost that way when your done with your bill you wont be surprised! Would highly recommend to run fast away from this center.

I went in for my exam to get contacts. I had my exam and was told they wanted to order a trial set for me to try before I order 3 month supply. The lady that helped me with my appointment at checkout had no idea what was going on and seemed very confused. She tried ordering the 3 months right then and I had to tell her that the dr said she was ordering me trials. She checked her box and my paperwork was in there for ordering trials. She told me it would only take 4 to 5 days. Its now been a month and I have had to call weekly. I talked to the same lady everytime and all she tells me there is a delay they will be here next week. Ill call you. I told her that I wanted to use my insurance before year end and she told me that she would bill it out so it would be covered. Now to this week I called and asked to speak with a manager. Explained what has happened, nothing was said for all the issues or anything or for my insurance still not being billed out. She told me she would call the company and check and called me back a few seconds later and said oh they came in today . Communication is not good and with all the issues with ordering etc it seems there are training issues. Makes me wonder if my trials were even ordered when they were supposed to.

Staff tried to talk me into an outrageous price for a pair of glasses, but he didnt once ask me what I wanted or needed. He wouldnt even schedule me for a consult that was requested by the provider, until I bought glasses. I will never go back. Will report to the BBB.

Waited two weeks to get an appt. Called to verify appt got their voicemail. Once I got there the receptionist from hell blamed me for them not updating their records on how to get a hold of me as well as the never updated my insurance so I couldnt be seen. Apparently she never heard of HUMANA Insuance. Then I find out the DR I was scheduled for doesnt take my insurance. Not once did the receptionist apologize or try to make the situation better she only blamed me the customer for their lack of running an efficient office. Worst office managing I have ever seen!!!

Great place, nice staff, great selection
My first initial experience was anything but great (for us). But Dr. Broker was great to us and took the time to explain things and to try and get me seeing my best. But because of the experience with the rest of the staff and the fact that the lab screwed up one or both the lenses for my wife, I was certain I wasnt going back.BUT, I decided to give them another shot. And Dr. Broker was the reason I decided to.And having keratoconus, it is a pain for everyone - particularly me because I get to live with it everyday (woo-hoo). And I cant do contacts. But again, Dr. Broker took the time with me to get me seeing as good as he can with my Coke bottles. The rest of the staff seemed to redeem themselves. And Chris is will do all he can possibly do too. He was very patient with me while I was trying to get used to my glasses. And I can be hard to deal with sometimes. Particularly if something is bothering me and frustrating me like keratoconus.So if you dont see Dr. Broker, hopefully at least, you are fortunate to have Chris help you with your glasses.Thank you guys for the time you took with me.
