Sales people are very knowledgeable and easy to work with. We had multiple problems with the delivery of the car, getting it registered and receiving complete copies of all the paperwork we signed. I would have given a higher rating if those issues had not plagued me for two weeks or more and they were all completely resolved.

My experience with this dealership so far so bad. I called a little over a week ago to make an appointment for my genesis to come get picked up and serviced for general maintenance, some warranty related issues and I wanted to get some scratches fixed that I would be paying out of pocket to fix. 1st they told me they would call me back to make an appointment once the advisor is available and didn’t hear back for 3 days. Called back and spoke with someone. they got me all set up and looked up my address and told me it was fine and they will come pick it up (keep in mind when I purchased the car, no one said they will only come get it within a certain mile radius). Anyway we got the appointment all set up for 1pm at 10/19/21. Around 1:30 I am like hmmm no one called me or showed up to pick up the car. So i decided to call them and see what’s going on. After some time on hold they told me that I am to far for them to pick up the car, without being told before hand or any previous communication, extremely unprofessional for supposedly a luxury brand.And not sure what they are talking about because both Sarasota and Lakeland have came to me several times and picked up my car and dropped off another car and they are almost twice as far as this dealership from me. The only reason I wanted to try this dealership was because I wanted to find something closer and. Little more local since Brandon doesn’t service Genesis anymore. My wife was also looking to purchase a gv70, but I guess we would not be going to this dealership to be making that purchase or servicing our vehicles, will be taking, our business somewhere else and honestly after reading other peoples experience maybe we dogged a bullet on this one

I bought my vehicle on 9/4 from Courtesy Genesis. My sales was Manny, I am glad that he has my salesman. He is very knowledgeable and professional. He called me before my appointment to see the new GV70. He mentioned to me about GV80. He was very helpful on the phone. Made an appointment to see him on 9/4/21. I could not get on time to the appointment and reschedule for few hours later. We got the GV 80 and love it. I really appreciate for going above and beyond. If are looking to purchase or even to go an see a vehicle ask for Manny. I was not planning on buying that day. But what I liked he is honest and he is not pushing for the sale. Which I do appreciate and he listen to your needs and concerns. He is a great asset to the dealership. Also the Finance guy made it so easy. Got there at 3 and left before 7 with a vehicle.👍👍

Do not buy a vehicle from here. The salesmen and finance managers use false promises as sales tactics. They will say anything to get you to purchase a vehicle and once the sale is made youre nothing but a pan handler to them. Read the contract very carefully as it will change significantly from the original agreement you sign. Make sure you are aware of the addendum sticker as they charged me almost $3,000 for tinting, a couple pin stripe decals, and door guards. I would estimate the cost for this would be approx. $500.Bottom line. I love my new car, but the experience of buying through Courtesy Genesis makes me cringe every time I think about my purchase. This single dealership has tarnished the brand of Genesis. If I ever purchase another Genesis I will gladly drive to Miami in order to avoid supporting Courtesy Genesis of Tampa.

Not a luxury car buying experience. Purchased a Genesis GV80, trading in my Mercedes. The experience was very different from buying from a Mercedes dealer. This is a Hyundai dealer that also sells the few models of Genesis currently being offered. This is not to say it was a bad experience. Everyone was professional and courteous and I have no substantial complaints. However, I will miss the Mercedes experience. Having said that, I am very happy with my purchase and have no regrets.

We came in to drive a palisade originally and saw the GV80 and fell in love. We needed the third row option which are hard to find with today’s market but we had Anna Mandell as our sales associate. She found a GV80 Advanced+ for us same day and made everything quick and easy! We buy cars frequently and I have to say, best experience! Go to Courtesy Genesis and ask for Anna Mandell! Manny went so far above and beyond my expectations of what car buying should be. He made me feel like he personally cared about my situation and my time, and he put in the extra effort to make sure I was able to get exactly what I was looking for. He never once tried to unnecessarily upsell me. I would definitely go back to this dealership in the future and request Manny based on this experience!

Horrible, horrible, horrible! Bought a new Genesis several months ago. We were told at the time of the sale that we would have valet service. Set up my appointment. Thought everything was good. Day of appointment rolls around and we were still waiting 2 hours later. So I called and spoke with my service advisor, Yariel, who rudely told me they havent done that since the pandemic, he had no way of knowing, and it is not his problem. Called back and asked to speak with a service manager. Ben decided to just hang up on me (no, I wasnt yelling or being a Karen). My husband decided to get involved. Was hung up on once and when he called again Chad, the service manager answered. Chad was polite to my husband and explained they will only pick up a car within a 10 mile radius. Which is fine had they told us. No one called, we were lied to and hung up on. Pretty tired of people being rude and using the Pandemic as an excuse. Do they just not care about their business receiving bad reviews?? Im guessing they dont. So, I wouldnt recommend them based on their attitudes. We would have totally understood ifsomeone had just calledand explained the situation. Not been rude and told us it wasnt their problem.Called Genesis and were told the valet service is good for 50 miles and this is not a choice the dealership gets to make....hmmm.

I had an amazing experience here. Came to purchased a 2018 sonata cpo. Jose Perez was an amazing salesman and he gave me all his attention to make sure I got the vehicle I needed. Momenul from finance did everything to get me approved with a good payment and interest rate. Overall a great experience. I will definitely be back and recommend anyone that wants a new or pre owned vehicle

I will not recommend anybody do business with this dealership and heres why:My wife and I went in to purchase a 2020 genesis on Sunday. We were going to trade in our used Toyota Corolla as part of the deal.The dealer received the car to be purchased and when we went to pick it up for delivery, there were very visible stains on the driver seat. We left it another night for them to fix.The next night, we went back and although they fixed the stain, there were now issues with the tint and there was also a scuff mark from another vehicle on the bumper. On a brand new car, there shouldnt be these kinds of issues. At this point, we decided to cancel the sale and asked for the keys to our Corolla. The dealership REFUSED and gave us the excuse that the keys were locked up and could not be retrieved that day. We were advised to come back the next day and talk to the General Sales Manager. Of course, we made it clear that while we will come back to pick up our car, the deal was off and we expected to get our old vehicle back.We came back on Thursday and were told the GSM was not there. We were advised that the Genesis was fixed and issue-free. But seeing as how there were such significant issues from the beginning, we reiterated that we are cancelling the deal and that we expected to get our old vehicle back. The dealership told us the vehicle was sold at an auction. We told them we clearly cancelled the deal within the allotted period (3 business days) and that we expected them to give us our old vehicle or pay us accordingly. We told them well be back by the end of the week.At this point, we stopped trusting what the dealership was telling us. So today, we went to the dealership unannounced and looked around their lot. To our surprise, our Corolla was in the back parking lot. We went in to talk to the General Sales Manager, who happened to be there this time. While we were talking to the GSM, they delivered the Genesis without telling us, and the GSM advised us we own the Genesis at this point and there is nothing we can do about it. This is the worst example of bait and switch we can think of.We are now left considering legal action to get our old vehicle back. Even now, all the dealership has to do is give us our old vehicle back and take back the vehicle they delivered to our house without asking us. We are incredibly upset at the way they misled us from the beginning. We fully intend to file a complaint with the BBB about this.Take it from us: PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP. Your experience may differ, but there are too many trustworthy dealerships who wouldnt use or put up this kind of deception.

Great sales experience with Courtesy Genesis. Worked with David Grenke & John Guzman.We almost abandoned the Genesis overall after an awful experience looking at the inventory at Gettel Genesis in Sarasota, but Dave at Courtesy was a rockstar. Such an easy, straightforward process.He was attentive, knowledgeable, and patient. We had plans to pickup an Audi Q5 later that day, but Courtesy & David Grenke turned around the Genesis experience for us. We drove out with the car same-day. Customer service was stellar; he went above and beyond. Couldnt be happier.

I wish this wasnt my first bad experience here. But here we go again...First off, the lack of consideration by employees to properly wear a face mask is appalling & the waiting area is not spaced out to ensure safe distancing.Honestly this place is disorganized, chaotic, and severely lacking in customer service. Getting my vehicle serviced for a simple oil change here is incredibly time consuming. Upon arriving for my appointment I was told that it would take 1.5 to 2 hours and I stayed to wait at the dealership. Upon the 2 hour mark, I went to find the service advisor to check the status (it shouldve been done by now). NOPE. The car hadnt been taken back yet, but it clearly had been moved as it wasnt where I parked it..Keep in mind, the service advisor never communicated this sizeable delay to me until I checked in with him. After complaining, the advisor said he would have the car taken back right away and that it would be another 30 minutes. Why bother making an appointment?!?I understand business is busy, but there is no excuse for a oil change to take half of my work day.

Went for an issue with car seat adjustment with my 2012 Genesis. Total cost was above $500. $130/hr for labor was a big surprise. I never heard of this kind of high labor prices. Of course I agreed for the service and that amount, Ebrahim was real helpful and gave me some discount.

Do not buy your Genesis here. They WILL NOT deliver what they promise when you lease or purchase a Genesis. Although they have the ability, they are dismissive and really do not want your Genesis business. They make many promises in an attempt to retain the Genesis status, but have not made good on even one. Hanging up on you and passing the buck to someone else for weeks is how they generally do business. Save yourself much wasted time by purchasing and getting maintenance anywhere else. There are many other Genesis dealerships that will uphold the otherwise great Genesis experience you are paying for. This one will not.(I welcome a meaningful response from this dealership, but I have been guided by Genesis to not bother engaging this dealership anymore.)

After taking three cars being bought in this place and with the illusion of being treated with respect for my loyalty with the dealer I only received contempt and lies, after 4 days trying to do a business without coming to fruition, after being deceived with proposed barias that did not reach anything, they gave me the car my wife wanted, a blue Genesis G70 which was in very bad condition, apparently someone was still using it because it was 250 miles at the time and there was not the delicacy of washing it before deliver it, return the next day to sign the papers and complain about the conditions in which they gave us the vehicle and they change my business again asking for more money and making a change in the contract, after I gave my wifes credit 7 times and mine 2 we have been almost 10 days and still do not respond to anything, really indignant, the worst service and a deplorable treatment that I can not understand.One of his best answers was that they had Clients with priority and they could not attend me that day, what a horrible truth, maybe its because we dont speak English well 😒
