Awesome quick service! they were the only shop in town that could repair my bike with the right tires/wheels i needed. i came in with a broken rim and robert and team assembled a new wheel for me from my old rear hub within an hour! thanks!

The guys at Bicycle Doctor helped me out a few times while I was working on a bike project. They have a vast knowledge and I will be returning here for all my future bike needs.

Service was excellent! I needed some help with minor bike repairs and they took the time to assist me right then. Also, they changed me hardly anything for the 30 min of help. They will be handling all of my repair needs in the future!

Called in with a simple question on a wheel build, owner was difficult to deal with. Ive had several wheels built over the years and have never came across the difficulty of establishing a ballpark price over the phone with other builders across the country as to what it would cost. Owner actually caught a attitude with me on the phone. I would avoid this shop. Owner either doesnt know what hes doing or is just rude/lazy and wants you to come into the shop in person.

Quick response to inquires. Very fast and affordable work. This is my second time using the Bicycle Doctors services and we will go there for future work!

I was just biking by and I was extremely new to the area....I saw this cute little shop so I stopped. The cost of a fix up was extremely reasonable and they were so helpful. It was a really nice experience since Ive come all the way from New Jersey and got to experience true kindness and positive vibes. Also they made my bike ride like a DREAM!!!!

My wife and I were visiting the Illinois State Fair. I had an afternoon free and wanted to ride for a couple hours. Bicycle Doctors had me ready to go in 15 minutes. I rode to a couple of historical locations and read every plaque. Great shop, great service.

We purchased an Aveton e-bike for our son a few weeks ago. Very nice, professional, and helpful shop. First day at college our sons seat, seat clamp, seat post, and lights were stolen. We were three hours from this shop and they still helped us over the phone twice to get the measurements to order new parts locally.

Robert came to the rescue when I crashed my brand new Ebike. He shipped the parts I needed all the way to New Jersey! Because of COVID I had hit a dead end trying to find parts anywhere. Robert said he’d be able to help me out and he shipped them to me. THAT is GREAT SERVICE! I am eternally grateful!

I connected with Robert and his team while trying to track down a part for my electric bike - the manufacturer had been unresponsive, but Robert was able to get ahold of the companys owner and ensure that the problem got addressed. He also kept up with me throughout the process and kept my apprised of where they were at in coordinating with the manufacturer.I was blown away by the consideration, dedication to customer service, and passion for cycling that these guys put forward in their work - would definitely go to them for help again!

Robert and Bob are the most knowledgeable and friendly guys to take care of all your cycling needs. Theyre generous with their time and always do good work in any maintenance or assembly. They also have the largest selection of used bicycles in Springfield, all in excellent condition. Of course, they also offer new bicycles and accessories of every type. Theyre also the only place in Springfield that specializes in e-bikes!

This is hands down the best cycling buisness in town. The service and pricing are top notch and dont let the size of the building fool you, they can provide anything the big building stores do with a ton of quality, experience and an extreme level of service beyond your purchase. I recommend these guys over all others in Springfield Illinois.

Went to 3 bike shops today. This was by far the best of the 3. Knowledgeable, and friendly. The others were too busy to be bothered with us or to arrogant to appreciate our business. Great shop!

I am touring and started having shifting issues. I came in with no notice asking if they could look at it. They got it on the bike stand and found that there were several little things causing the problem. Not only were they able to tweak those, but they also found 2 other things that needed addressed. I have been riding 5 days since the repairs and not one single problem. I would like to give them 6 stars for customer service and the quality of their workmanship.

The guys at the shop are awesome! Just upgraded from a Walmart bike to a real bike. The guys got me on the road in no time. Didnt feel overwhelmed at all. Highly recommend.

I took my bike in for an overhaul- in addition to fixing the problems that I noticed, the good Dr addressed a host of other issues that I was not even aware of! My ride is so much more comfortable now. Also gave me quotes on a couple of other improvements I could make in the future, at very reasonable prices. Totally worth it. Check out the bamboo bike!

Robert and Bob have gone out of their way in helping. I am handicapped and they have modified a recumbent bike that allows me 2 still bike.

Went in there last minute with a messed up freewheel and axel I tried fixing myself. They got me fixed up and out the door in no time.

The doctor and his wife are the best! I wanted a bike for the trails but I had a number of issues, fear not the least of them. They were both incredibly patient, knowledgeable and helpful. This is one of the newer locally owned bicycle shops in town, but dont let that keep you from checking out this little gem. The staff are very supportive and knowledgeable. If you are a bicycle enthusiast this is one of the top three bike shops in town worth a visit.

Shaved 6 minutes off the weekly bike ride after these guys tuned up my bike and gave me several maintenance tips when I came in for a popped tire. Coincidence??? I think not!!!! These guys are friendly and know what they’re doing, would recommend them to everyone I know!!!

Ive had the worst experience possible. I feel like I was robbed. 8 months ago I bought a $1600 folding electric bike from this place after being reassured it was exactly what I wanted. Since then the bike has been back to the shop 7 times and it broke again this morning. THE HANDLEBARS ARE FOLDING WHILE IM RIDING. The handlebars have the ability to fold because its a folding bike, this lock broke while riding about 10 days ago. There was a very dangerous wreck caused by the handle bars falling, I went over the handlebars. I took it back to the shop and he fixed it tuesday while calling it normal wear and tear. Today, Saturday morning, the bike folded again while riding. The same place in the handlebars that this shop fixed 4 days before, once a gin causing me to go over my handlebars. PLEASE JUST DONT RISK IT, THEY DONT KNOW WHAT THEIR DOING.

Thank you so much for recommending the Sirrus Specialized Elite Bicycle for my now truly wonderful cycling experience. By far the nicest ride I have ever had in all my years of riding a bicycle. I was especially amazed at how comfortable the saddle feels; so small yet has enough cushion to feel like I can ride all day without worries.
