Great customer service. Unfortunately, our car was misdiagnosed. We arrived thinking we needed a battery given the symptoms. One of the gentlemen there tested the battery with a multimeter and said it was fine and it was likely the starter (which didn’t make sense but okay you probably know cars better than me). Took the car to our usual mechanic, who wasn’t free for a couple days, who told us we were right. The battery was so bad, it was essentially unable to be tested. New battery in and good as new. Could’ve saved us the time and got our business with buying a battery from them had it been tested correctly in the first place.

Thanksgiving day needed to buy a headlight. Did not want to spend $130 for it and was hoping I had other options. The gentleman talked me through what I needed to know. He was knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I had no options but to spend the money. He was able to finagle a small discount which was VERY MUCH appreciated.

My passenger side turn signal had blown out and I came in with little knowledge of what specific bulbs I needed. Mark or Marc (not sure how it is spelled) went above and beyond to help me make sure I purchased the correct product and helped me with installing. He didn’t have to help with installing but definitely made this quick stop a more enjoyable and positive filled one. Auto zone in Smyrna will continue to have my business based on Mark’s awesome customer service.
I had a really great experience this evening at AutoZone and they have earned my business anytime I need a part and can purchase it for myself. I came in with a bulb for my driver’s side headlight. I purchased the bulb from a different location and didn’t ask for any assistance thinking it would be a quick and easy install. I was very wrong. In my vehicle getting to the headlight bulb was quite difficult. Myself, nor my boyfriend could get to the old bulb to remove it to replace it with the new one I purchased. Frustrated, I went to a Firestone near my job the following day and they were going to charge $70 for purchasing a new bulb and for labor to install it. They suggested I go back to AutoZone and I’m so glad I did! Tiffany was the associate that helped me. I told her the issue and she had me pull around to the front to see if she could help. She tried several different things to try to get the old bulb out. It was really an ordeal. Throughout the entire thing her attitude was really upbeat, she kept me smiling and laughing while she worked through different attempts to get this bulb replaced. She finally came up with a solution, got the bulb out and we both did a happy dance. This was the most pleasant experience I’ve ever had and Tiffany needs a promotion and a raise! Thank you Tiffany for providing service that went above and beyond my expectations!

Great help finding the proper oil and filter I needed. Had no idea my car requires 9 quarts of oil! No wonder the low oil light always comes on but could not find leak. Got what I needed and it was on sale too!
First guy was totally unhelpful. Had to repeat myself multiple times about the specs of my car. He couldn’t help me with what I needed so I had to go take a picture of what I was looking for. Then when I came back he made me get back in line. Second guy was super helpful. Narrowed it down to 4 options, and we were able to figure out what I needed. Overall, took me an hour to do a 10 minute job. Second time being disappointed with this store. Super helpful guy was foreign. Maybe Ukrainian/Russian? He saved this from being a one star review so thank you.
Marc was super kind and quick when helping me replace my front headlight. I wasnt sure which bulb to get and wanted my lights to be the same. It was raining but he was outside before I could pull my car to the curb, checked to see which bulb I had, then replaced it. I was in and out in no time! Great service!

This is my third time Ive purchased automotive parts from AutoZone off 2552 South Cobb Drive, Smyrna, GA 30080. Each time I am really happy about the excellent customer service Ive received. Chris has waited on me two times and he is the best. He is super knowledgeable about things and was able to save me money. You know how women are taken advantage of when we have car repairs done. He didnt talk down to me and actually told me what to tell the repair garage. All in all, such a wonderful experience. You guys are The BEST!!!!

My car wouldnt start a few weeks ago. A friend jumped me off & I drove straight to Advance Auto. They could sell me a battery, but not install it because it was dark. I left & went to Autozone where my battery was installed even tho it was dark.
Marc is the man! Being someone that knows nothing about cars - Walking into an auto store only comes when I have a problem. Marc diagnosed my issue, charged my battery, and re installed it in all under an hour. He and his staff are intelligent, prompt, and friendly. These guys know their stuff and genuinely want to help you get your day back. Great job Marc and team!! I know where I will go if I ever have another car problem!!
Norman is the man! I went to 3 other part stores before i came to this one. Each one said no sorry we dont have it. Same with this store but Norman took his time to help me find a part that would work for what I needed. It was a perfect fit! He went above and beyond. Really good experience here. I can’t recall the name of the young Hispanic man who helped me change my battery out but he was very professional and courteous. And my battery was free because I had a few months left on my warranty!
I called and spoke to Chris in regards to a certain part, in which Chris stated that it was in stock. When I go to the store, I spoke to a very rude Lady in which she stated that the part was not available and walked away with out even trying to help. I had to then wait and speak to Chris to ensure that He was able to find the part and help me. I just find it so rude to tell the customer that they are wrong and refuse to help the customer when in fact the customer called to ensure that the part was available. I just want everyone to expect rude service from this location from anyone other then Chris because he was very helpful.

UPDATE: store manager didnt have my number, but knew my name when I called again. He was very professional and understanding.Their parts driver is a lunatic .She gave my five year old daughter and me the finger because she jumped in the left turn lane too early and was blocking the entrance to our neighborhood and all visibility of oncoming traffic. I couldnt see, so I sat there and waited.I guess her anger is more important than my familys safety.I even went into the store she was delivering parts to. She proclaimed loudly and proudly that in her capacity as AutoZone driver and ambassador, she did indeed give the finger to me and my daughter. I wonder how much road rage she suffers from vehicles that are actually moving.Store management refuses to return my phone calls .
One of the men there who works up front was extremely helpful . I wish I knew his name. He took out time to answer all my questions. I didnt feel as if any of my questions were stupid, even though he basically had to explain everything to me. He also gave me a excellent recommendation for a mechanic who fixed my car and got me moving right away.
Mr.Rivera is the BEST! He helped to replace a tail light on my car but not only did he do that, he also poured the water out of my cracked tail light and helped to seal it to keep water out of it! He went ABOVE AND BEYOND! He truly knows the essence of customer service! Thanks for EVERYTHING!!!

The manager tonight was great! This location was swamped when I showed up. I was impressed how the manager directed his employees to maximize his teams efforts to assist the large and growing crowd. They conducted 2 battery changes and 6 code readings in 30 min not to include the sales. The manager was up beat and a pleasure to interact with. I was very pleased with the service and would shop here agin. Ive been shopping auto parts stores daily for 35yrs. I despise poor service especially when the store is empty. Tonights team was great! I came in with my headlight out and they offered to put the replacement in for free. I was so grateful! 3 weeks later, my other headlight went out and the put in the replacement in again. They were wonderful! Being a single woman, I truly appreciated their help!

Worst experience ever in an auto parts store. Waited nearly 40 minutes to check out $20 worth of car wash items (why did I stay?). Only two employees working including manager. Regular employee had no idea what to do and repeatedly needed the Managers password to checkout, search, etc...he had clearly not been trained at all and I felt for him. Manager was insanely slow and took no initiative. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!
