Im trying to learn more about beer and try new IPAs, host was kind to recommend, and they seemes on top of things (no lady encounter on front, but lady in back really nice to let me know bathroom door pushes in and its not really locked) I had the top two ipas and the today tomorrow ipas, great recommendations, 1st one is a win for me, all are but first has flavor and a balanced bitterness and color. As for the sandwich, same as others opinions, meat is lacking, its good, but like meh I can throw at home in less than a minute good, not worth a 6-7dlr for half a sandwich. Nothing toasted or meted.I would love to keep coming here if they had stairs to try all their tap beers, also ambience is not to bar-e or too deli-e ots actually pretty cool.Staff was cool-normal, busy customers- busy staff but everything ran well. Will come back for the british sub and more beers.
Ordered an egg salad sandwich that was the bomb. Great service, they were super nice, Ill be going back there.
My favorite spot for craft beer. Huge selection for a little store. Always something new to try. Friendly workers. I stop every time I pass. Also beers on tap, indoor and outdoor seating to enjoy a tasty adult beveridge. Definitely worth stopping in.
The layout of the store makes it feel kind of small, which I actually like.
I heard they got decent beer here that they make themselves and you can drink it on the premises. Not really interested in that I came here for the cheesy British which is the iconic sandwich this Delhi has always been famous for.The sandwich wasnt anywhere near as good as the one Hoagies Corner used to make. Hardly any cheese so it really wasnt cheesy. And the guy didnt know how to heat the sandwich up. He was worried about overheating it and wilting lettuce. Thats the way its supposed to be.The people at this Deli just arent from around here. They dont use bread from Gais Bakery like they used. I guess Ill be making cheesy British is myself
If you use ebt your a outcast no dining no seating for ebt users
Beer selection is top notch.Chips and candy standard for a corner store. The sandwiches are just awful.Ive never had a sandwich that had more mustard than meat.
Go to place in w. seattle for a nice deli sandwich and a beer (or 4). They have a wide selection of beers. One day I went in and asked if they had Timber City Ginger Beer - they didnt. The next week I went in and they did and theyve had it ever since. Great family owned business.
My husband and I frequent super deli mart very often and have been treated with nothing but friendliness, respect and pleasantness. The older female owner knows exactly how I like my sandwiches and her 2 sons that work there are always recommending my husband the best, newly released beers to try! Brian is very knowledgeable about beer and can keep a conversation about the hottest new breweries or beers if you’re a “hophead” like my husband. We always enjoy our time there and dogs are allowed inside- which is a bonus. They have a great selection of snack foods along with their delicious in- house made sandwiches. My husband and I discovered Superdeli mart 2 years ago and since then it’s been a favorite of ours ever since!
I freaking love this place. The folks here are nice, they have my favorite beer (Pilsner Urquell), and they have a great selection of unique alcohols. I just recently moved and feeling the loss of this neighborhood sweet spot. Thanks for being awesome Super Deli Mart.
Sandwiches are wack. Not as good as advertised. Better sandwiches at a grocery store.
Very good italian on sour dough very yummy!!!
The sandwiches are pretty good. But if your black the looks and treatment you get is not comfortable at all. Dont know if were going back.
3.7 stars .1 of best places to buy special craft beers cans or bottles. They store and move em correctly . Taps are pretty good too. Smokes are fair to good price. Sandwiches need just 1 or 2 thick slices more of meat for price. Cigars arent kept well. Check cabinet for mold spots
Beautiful beer selection, beautiful hoagies, beautiful everything. This place is a gem.
When you first show up to Super Deli Mart youll think youve been misled. Not so. Inside this unassuming corner store is one of the most impressive beer selections in the greater Seattle area. Theyre one of the few places to get limited release beers like Bourbon County Stout, Pliny the Elder (when it was shipped to Washington), and others. Its also a great neighborhood store that does growler fills and offers pints for a very, very respectable price.
Rude staff. Was waiting for my fiance inside until he arrived. It had only been 10 minutes. I was sitting by myself, not touching anything and talking on the phone. Im not dirty and I wasnt yelling or swearing. I was approached and told to get out and wait in the cold. This area is only for customers. I told her I am a customer. I am waiting on someone. This seems reasonable. You can sit and drink beer here. I was meeting someone. She insisted I leave anyway. I asked someone else if I could stay because that lady had told me to get out and they said it was fine so I came back in.This place makes me feel uncomfortable as a minority. Like I was being targeted when there were other people not buying things, too, except they were white.I talked with the manager after and he apologized and said he thought it was a communication error. With the weather people come in and dont buy things. I understand this but I dont its necessary to be so confrontational from the very start. Instead of asking if I was waiting for someone or if I was going to make a purchase I was just told to get out, no questions. Not a friendly place!!My fiance and I will not come back, even though we had heard such good things about the food and beer and were excited to visit.
A fantastically unique and unassuming place in West Seattle; a rare find. You can sit down, drink a beer and watch the game while waiting for your sandwich. It has all the things youd find in a corner store plus a few extras. If dont want to leave, have another beer and hang out with the regulars.
Prices are affordable. Selection is exquisite. Its a great neighborhood staple.
Great beer selection, you can either enjoy at home or stay for a game (they have plenty of TVs). Ive been a few times and my only complaint would be that I forgot my growler cap one time and it costs $1 to purchase one. I dont think Ive ever had to pay for one anywhere else in the city.
PLEASE DO NOT SHOP HERE! The old female owner is one of the rudest people I have ever seen. I was in the store and overheard her tell her employee that she shouldn’t wear makeup because it makes her look “old and tired” and that she should wear a hat because her hair is blue. Who the hell says that to someone? Who thinks that this is okay? There are other comments on the actions of these people and they are all true. The owners of this deli don’t care about their employees and I cannot support a business like this. Super deli mart will no longer be a place I spend my money.
Despite this store’s convenience, the owners are by far the rudest people I have encountered in West Seattle. They are absolutely racist. My African husband has been racially profiled there multiple times and both the female and male owners have never been friendly. We also live next door and they consistently mow their lawn and wack weeds either extremely early in the morning or late at night. The male owner is literally mowing the lawn right this minute. It is 9:15pm. If I had kids in the house this would be absolutely unacceptable. I just wish that as business owners these people would have more respect for the neighborhood they are in.
If you want to get beer top of the line beer or find something unique that is not typically carried in most store stop at Super Deli Mart. They carry a great selection of beers and always have a wonderful selection on draft. Filling a growler is $10 and $20 if it is a rare find. Wonderful, just Wonderful
I used to love this place I would even drive over 20 miles to come get a sandwich here. I come in today and when I open my food I wasnt satisfied with how my sandwich was made because it smelled of onions I had specifically asked for no onions or tomatoes because I am allergic when I asked to have my food replaced or a refund the owner/manager yelled and told me he wasnt going to fix or remake my food or give me a refund and that he had the right to refuse service I wont be coming back here again
Wont be going back here again. Sandwiches are a joke, beer selection is always the same similar to each other beers and now they wont let people in without masks on. Ive probably spent a couple grand in here over the last year but if youre going try and enforce wearing masks I wont spend here anymore. Your loss not mine
Mac and Jack Amber growler fills for a $1 less than the brewery in Redmond? Oh heck yes! Awesome people making tasty sandwiches with an unparalleled beer selection in bottles and tap. So glad these guys are in the neighborhood.
Want exotic beer? Super Deli & Grocery delivers.Set in a fairly run of the mill deli/convenience store, is a pretty darned good beer nerd selection of goodness. A bit heavy on northwest and hops, but even this sour fan will admit that its hard to beat the beers offered here. Also, Min has excellent taste in beers. Ive had interesting, rare, etc, items here that you wouldnt find in MUCH more hooty tooty places.
Awesomeness on every level. Hoagys Corner style sandwiches, unbelievable selection of beers, even have a pint while you wait for your sandwich. Do yourself a favor and check them out.
Impressive beer selection
Fantastic corner market and community hangout. Great beer selection both in cold case and on tap, and the friendliest staff.
It is very convenient to grab a snacks on my way to work.
Great beer selection in the coolers and on tap. Brian is super helpful, sandwiches are tasty and made quickly.
People were very friendly. I was told they make the old Hoagies Corner sandwiches here. THEY DO!
My husband just left this store. Weve been going here for decades, but for some reason, this time--the woman (probably the owner) charged him $52 for 3 sandwiches and 3 small bags of chips. He asked why it was so expensive and she yelled, Tax! And then walked away without giving him a bag or a receipt. We will not come here again, no matter how good their sandwiches have been to us.
My favorite sandwich and beer store!!
Very cool convenience store with great beer and cigar selection. sandwiches are very good as well!
Best mini-mart in Seattle! Great beer selection, one of the best in the city, and a good deli to go with!
Beer is good although Older Owners have to be the rudest people to deal with in West Seattle. Seriously take some customer service training.
Like hoagies corner used to be. Yummy
Great beer selection at a totally affordable price.
Great prices on great beer. They show the Mariners games on a big screen
Rude and disrespectful
You can (should) get a cheesy British and a pint.
Great sandwichs
