Hours were reduced for covid but never coming back because theyre a family business. Yes, plenty of non family members work here and they still blame it on covid. Anyways, sometimes nice, sometimes really crabby, this store is a mixed bag. I go when I really need it, but the other store has happy people and hours that work for me.

Great convenience store but needs need more improvements with sales floor and stores hours operation needs to be updated to new #Covid19 hours.

Man these people are great! They have whatever you could possibly need and if not they could get it ordered into the store. Definitely my go to store when I’m on the hill.

Horrid management.First, i was sold a faulty product and when i returned immediately the manager refused to do anything about it. I did not ask for a refund, simply asked to exchange.Then once that was refused, only minutes after purchase, when i asked if i could try the product in store before buying so i wouldnt lose more money, the manager threatened to call the cops unless i paid first again. She said she would call the cops and tell them I was stealing.Bullies with terrible products. Do not buy disposable vapes unless you want to be robbed and treated rudely.Manager spoke over me multiple times and refused to take into account that even the cashier vouched for the fact i was just there.

Staff is very helpful and nice. And they are staying stocked on things that are currently hard to find in grocery stores, such as cleaning products and first aid products. They also have a good wine selection, and they have fresh citrus. Easy access to beverage making supplies without having to go to the grocery store is really nice, especially right now. As is access to things you cant even get an Amazon during the pandemic so far!

Inside of the store often smells like body odor and vinegar. The staff are consistently rude and the prices at this store on almost everything are higher than any other corner market in the area. Everything just keeps getting worse and the owners seem completely disinterested in making repairs. At one point they even had a sign up saying that they were charging more for toilet paper because the demand was surging. This is price gouging and illegal. The sign was down the next day. I suspect somebody complained.

Ive been going to this market for a few years and have never had a bad experience. They have re-organized some of the areas so there is a better flow to it.

I spend hundreds of dollars a month at this store and I had to use my shirt pulled up over my face for a mask one time and they refused me service. Im never going back

The prices here are insane. The shop smells terrible. I love across the street and have been shopping here for 3 years. I wont be back. The prices keep going up and the service keeps getting worse.

Wow, I go to this market all the time. I guess I came in too late or something. My receipt shows that I left a half hour before closing time. The guy that runs the store told me to leave because I was taking too long. Unfortunate. I have spent plenty of money at Hillcrest. Although he apologized when I called him by his first name, which I remember, he then shook his head when I asked for a receipt. He said he needed to smoke a cigarette. Again, WOW. Really? I guess everyone has bad days. At my job though, if I had treated a regular customer that way I would have been reprimanded or fired. Its really sad, because Ive never had a problem there before. But I will definitely think twice before going there again...

Abusive and opportunistic owner who berates customers. I would avoid and go to any number of other convenience stores in the area.

I have never had any problems with Hillcrest and I go there almost everyday. I also play soccer with someone who knows Jin and they introduced me to him a few days ago. If you have any problems with Hillcrest market maybe you should sit down and talk to the owners personally and not complain about it on the internet.
