Went in to the store and tried to buy something on sale no dice. I was told I needed the app even though there was a deal if you didnt have the app as well. But I couldnt get that deal either even after downloading the app. All I Got was sorry its not working. The deal says valid untill 10/4. The one star is for the cheap gas. The person working the till should be able to ring in advertised discounts.
Couple Arab gentleman working, one of them really helped me out one day I really appreciate his help. Lots of homeless people around and by the bus stop so its sketchy spot, but man that guy didnt have to help me and he did and i hope good fortune comes to him
Not the fault of the proprietor, this just happens to be the congregation spot of many of Auroras most colorful characters. Rather go anywhere else. Glad it’s under construction. Update : I stand by my statement, but after deep consideration for those affected by my comment, it’s important to own my error. The staff and the owners don’t control the neighborhood they work in, and when you consider their hard work to provide great service in a rough area, it’s apparent that they deserve 5 stars. Sorry for the inconsiderate way I chose to communicate this message, and thanks for all your hard work.
Friendly staff, accommodating. after I became a known customer, the guys would come out to the car to get my gas money so I wouldnt have to unload my infant just to run in really quick and pay. good, fresh, cheap coffee too.
Got gas here and then needed to put air in my tires. Paid the $1.25 for air and after the third tire the timer stopped. There’s nothing posted about a timer. If I knew I was auditioning for a NASCAR pit crew team I would’ve sprinted to fill all 4 tires. I asked the clerk if he can help me out so I could fill that fourth tire, but all he offered were lame excuses. Drove up to Chevron on 155th, and they provide free air.
It is what it is - with a smile! I work overnights nearby and come here often at lunchtime in the middle of the night. It is a 24 hour convenience store in the heart of the most lovely (ahem) part of Aurora Ave. The bus stop on the edge of the lot is usually occupied by the local denizens, but they are self-policing, and I have seen them run beggars off the store lot (Dont ruin it for us!) The cashier has to be the coolest cat on the planet. Ive seen him deal with drunks, tweakers, racists, and folks so stoned they cant remember what pocket their wallet is in, they just know they want chocolate. He is quietly polite, but stern when he has to be - and he has a mountain of patience. The store is clean, but no public restroom (can you imagine?) Never been here during the day, never got gas here.
False advertising for large fountain soda...NOT ONE LARGE CUP IN THE WHOLE STORE...RUDE CONDESCENDING MAN ...CORPORATE STORES SHOULD NOT LOOK LIKE THISGAS HERE. BAD EXPERIENCE
Good stop
