Kaladi Brothers is my go to coffee shop in Capitol Hill. The oat milk latte is my favorite drink. The breakfast wrap is also super yummy. The staff is always quick and friendly. Go check them out !!
I got an iced Kaladi latte and a cinnamon role. Service was speedy, the baristas were friendly, and the coffee was good! Lots of seating and a nice environment for focusing.
Best coffee and service on Capitol Hill! Everyone here is super friendly…my go to coffee shop whenever I am on Capitol Hill! Luv it 💕
Solid, earthy espresso in my latte. They use Oatley, which I prefer. Queer friendly space. Friendly barista. Currently super Covid ready which makes it not a place you want to hang, for now anyway!
I love the customer service and I love their coffee! I even own a thermos from here!
Yummy coffee. I got the mocha and latte, both gewd
My friends and I sat here for a few hours talking and drinking coffee. It has an amazing atmosphere! It spurs conversation, and its neither too cold nor too hot. There are so many seats, and I love the open air and the windows (it really opens the room)!**note, I didnt have any coffee because I was just there to sit with my friends, but they ranked it as not noteworthy. But they agreed that it was an amazing space!
Great coffee Can’t wait for them to have indoor seating again!
I held off on writing this review after my first experience with their coffee but I tried it for a second time and I think there is something off with the espresso machine at this branch. Both times my Latte had a strong burnt coffee taste to it, making it impossible to finish the cup. Given that there are many many better places in the area to get coffee from, I do not suggest this place at all. You can grab a coffee literally by walking for 3 minutes either way.
Great coffee, lots of sitting areas inside and outside
Really kind staff. LGBT+ friendly! Theyre always so nice to my dog. Excellent coffee.
What I initially thought would be a quick stop for a drink ended up being my haven for the next hour as the Seattle rain began to fall. I ordered a cinnamon chai latte half sweet/spicy here and it was probably one of the best chais Ive had in Capitol Hill. Instead of braving the rain, I decided to sit down and properly enjoy my drink here. Plenty of space here for people without feeling too stuffy, great place to work or hangout for a little while!
I’m here on a daily basis and it never disappoints!
MOST ADORABLE PERFECT SHOP EVER. Affordable AND quality! Those baristas are the kindest~ Make sure to ask them to toast/heat up your sandwich, the food is alittle more than Starbucks fanfare but WAY WAY better! The sandwich with Mamma Lils Peppers in it is so good, no meat but just cheese and eggs and veggies 🥰 only strong coffee and micro foam found here!
The best. Friendly staff. Great coffee.
Nice coffee shop, also a good place to have a beer and some pastries.A huge space, if one day well be able to do indoor again.Vegan options available.S2
I am from Alaska and was pleased to find a Kaladi brothers on my Trek to Seattle. The Coffee tastes great as usual and the setting had a wonderful vibe. The people who worked there are very kind as well. Highly reccomend
Kaladi Bros had some of the BEST coffee! Were new to the area and have been trying new shops each weekend. This one did not disappoint. Super pup friendly, very kind staff, and a lively vibe. A great place to meet up with friends (we saw a crochet group and a student group getting together while we were there), read The Stranger or the paper, and enjoy company.
Stopped in for a Coffee.....Jeeze Louize we gotta save this place!!!!From the cobbled together hardwood floors, to the eclectic for sale art (my three favs already sold of course) to the original 1920s floor joists. Wow!! Nd dont even get me started on the staff!!!!!!!!!!! Try em out nd tell me you dont agree.
Try the Kaladi latte! Like a campfire s’more in a cup!
This is my joint! Im from Alaska so its nice to have a little piece of home just a couple blocks from work. Great coffee, staff is amazing!! Perfect meeting spot! And they play pretty good music. I would give them 10* for overall awesomeness 💞
I was cycling around downtown and I really had to use the bathroom but the cashier refused to let me in since I have to pay for a drink to be able to use the bathroom!! I was shocked when I explained that I don’t have my wallet with me and I really have to use the bathroom!! Disappointed and I hope they modify their customer services. Fortunately they let use the bike racks 👎🏽
The Kaladi latte is amazing, with just the right amount of sweetness in every sip.
People are GREAT! Food is yummy! Coffee is delish!
Ive been on the search for a yummy, well priced soy latte along with delicious quick breakfast foods. And this is it! The asiago cheese bagel is seasoned to perfection, so savory. The latte was the right amount of sweet. Good for on the go but also plenty of seating inside for the student, worker, or just to enjoy.
Came here for a quick brew after a long walk. We had the filter - which was nice enough from their batch brew device. Full roast that did have good flavour (cant remember tasting notes!). Not overly impressed with plethora of syrups on offer. The place was v relaxed and did like the welcoming solidarity sign as you walked in. 👊
For the month I spent in Seattle this was by far my favorite coffee shop. (I went to like 15 different places lol) Their scones are wonderful and I especially love their loft area. Such amazing aesthetics and a lovely variety of coffee and tea drinks.
This is overdue. One of the few cafes with a local feel to it. Staff are always courteous and kind. Make an effort to remember their repeat customers. Truly a gem!
Wonderful drinks! Even the hot chocolate is divine. Ive had a sampling of a lot of their drinks, and theyre all quite phenomenal. The staff is pleasant and expressive. It gets a little crowded at times, but the seating is comfortable and the atmosphere cozy. Prices are very reasonable. If you really want a kick, try the sludge.
Great vibe and atmosphere to grab a coffee, doing some office work from laptop or hanging out with frnds. Good beverage and food options in the menu. recommended place.
Loved this coffee place before they renovated and moved to this new location. I love it even more now. Very spacious and also has a second floor where its a bit quieter than the first floor if you want to read a book or something. Also, this place is a pet-friendly so you can bring your dogs inside as well 😁
A great neighborhood coffee shop. This is one of the most queer-friendly places in the city in my opinion. Its a beautiful, large space with nice decorations (lots of wood). The coffee is good and there are decent food options for a coffee shop.
Definitely the best quality coffee on the hill and the interior design is amazing.
Good coffee, nice ambienceI like their coffee. Nice pour over using I think Costa Rica beans. Better than Starbucks Reserve just across the street at half the price. Very good friendly service. The place is next to an LGBT center which makes it extra special. They have a few art piece, super nice. I also like that the place has a lot of natural light.
My new favorite place. Great coffee, good food, and amazing (and super cute!) staff. Your tastebuds + heart are gonna be swooning for a while.
Cute, local. A nice & big space. The chai was okay, but I will definitely come back and try more of the menu- mainly because of the atmosphere and open space.
Very spacious yet comfortable vibe! The service is wonderful! Try the cinnamon Italian soda! (You get a discount if you bring your own drinking vessel!)
Super friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere. Reasonably priced. The coffee is pretty good (this is Seattle and awesome coffee is everywhere). if you come here regularly be sure to fill a gift card with $20 and theyll put an extra $2 on it.
The new space is so spacious and beautiful! It is crowded a lot of the time, but I can always find a seat as there is a lot of seating. The employees are friendly and make great drinks. This is my favorite coffee shop on the hill to sit for a bit.
If Loud, obnoxious and mediocre is your thing you’ll fit right in with this place. It’s a great spot for people watching and hanging out with friends. The decor is nice and has the current farm feel. There’s a large selection of mass processed pastries to pick from and all of it reasonably priced. A neighborhood coffee shop.
They moved--but not far! Just a couple doors down. There are lots of outlets for laptop-wielding customers and the same delicious Mighty-O vegan, organic donuts. I dont drink coffee, but my Alaskan friends swear by this place. I like it because they have two kinds of Chai (sweet and spicy), are dog-friendly, and have an inclusive environment. The manager is great--she is incredibly helpful, but also keeps the place clean and safe (having difficult conversations with patrons that are making others uncomfortable). The new decor is super cool and the cafe is much more spacious compared to the old one.
Coffee was really good, the food was not. I went with a coworker who said the coffee was fantastic at this place. Its nice, the server was really sweet and the coffee was good. The big disappointment was the food. We each ordered a breakfast sandwich at $6.30 each. I have to say for that price, I expected a really, really good sandwich. Alas, I was rewarded with a prepackaged gas station food sandwich that a total letdown. A square egg (think unnaturally yellow and tasteless styrofoam, one piece of bacon, and one slice of cheese on an English muffin. I truly think I could get a better breakfast at a gas station. The coffee, however, way quite delicious, rich and smooth with not bitterness. I would definitely go back for the coffee (which was a little more than than your average latte, but not outrageous like the breakfast) but buy food anywhere else, even 7-11.
This place has a friendly atmosphere. It reminds me a lot of Zeitgeist in the Pioneer Square district. Power outlets are easily found for people doing work on laptops, and lots of people are using them. All of these people working (often socially) contributes to the atmosphere. Its a nice mix of laid back and intense. My one complaint is that it wasnt obvious how to order anything besides coffee and other associated drinks.
Awesome vegan food, cold brew and other such drinks. Lovely lovely lovely staff. Very safe accepting place . I feel at home here, its my favourite coffee shop on the west coast tbh . 6/5 stars ✨
My favorite coffee shop in Seattle. The atmosphere is super friendly; usually, includes a few dogs. I bring my dog in with me and the staff always make a fuss. The coffee is absolutely fabulous.
I like the staff and the space is lovely. Try the Kaladi Latte. Its got something delicious and magical in there. They have a good selection of tasty treats and vegan bites.
Very lgbt friendly, lots of seating, great drinks & treats. SUPPORT LOCAL, INSTEAD OF STARBUCKS! ITS MUCH BETTER! my fave drink is morning glory spicy chai, with extra almond milk. I add a bit of honey, and cinnamon.
Awesome and friendly staff. One of the queer friendly spaces in Seattle. The spicy chai is really good and they have vegetarian food options as well 😁
Great coffee
Good coffee, girlfriend gave the thumbs up to the white chocolate mocha. Good hot chocolate for me. Mmmm
I had their drip coffee (dark roast on that particular day) and it was outstanding!! Woke me up in a zip. Did not try the food or other items but the coffee alone is worth a 5-star review.
Great coffee, friendly baristas and really nice ambiance. A great coffee shop for locals.
The place is like ancollage cafe . Amazing atmosphere people are nice EXTREMLY lgbt friendly. Be sure to use proper pronouns these people work hard at there job and lives and show that in there skills. If i ever want an iced mocha or a chai this is the place to go.
Excellent baristas serving espresso with very little attitude. A great place to hang with a friend or get into your zone for work/fun. Its a large space with 20+ foot ceilings allow for a sizable loft space with several tables for a lil bit of privacy. Music is hip and loud. They offer grilled breakfast sandwiches and the usual bakery fare. Beer and wine too!
Work and delish coffee with son and wife. Love the staff!
Friendly staff, very good coffee for a good value. Unisex restroom is always a plus and also very clean. And there’s a gay centre right next door.
Needed NonStarbucks local shop. Nice seating. Your classic CapHill coffee stop and some decent bites to eat on the run.
The coffee is good but the staff is always rude and angry. If anger and condescension were a sacrament... Kaladis would truly be blessed.
Great place and the staff are super friendly, music is a solid 10 with slow jams and soul music to butter you up in the morning so you can somehow make it through the day. Would reccomend.
Nice new digs. Great space. Stinks of coffee, but I dont drink it. The black tea selection could be better.
Queer friendly. Mellow vibes. Great music. Beautiful space.
Nice big space to hang out while enjoying a treat.
Light Jazz in the background, vibey cafe thats perfect for people watching or working . Loved the pastry selection - the donuts are delicious! Rotating beer on tap & fantastic espresso - def pop by when you are in Capitol Hill! Oh -- and its pet friendly 🐶
Lots of seats, comfortable personal space, dogs friendly. Good coffee.
I hang out here a lot. I love all of the staff and they make awesome coffee
A good spot for a mid-afternoon break as you tour around Capitol Hill
First time visitor here. Its a roomy and inviting space with fun industrial finishes. The service was particularly friendly, the Latte was solidly good, and the scone a just right moistness. A pleasant experience
Their coffee is outstanding and at a great price. Love their customer service and their ambience!
This is a really cool coffee shop in capitol hill. Plenty of large windows give the place a ton of natural light. The place has a ton of things that make it u pique including the wall of bobble head dolls, chalk boards in the bathroom, and exposed wooden beams that line the ceilings. The crowd is a mix of students and people working at startups.Tip: There is a table right next to the entrance that is great for people watching on Pike St. But it can get really cold as people open and close the door so make sure to keep your coat on if you sit there
Popped in on a Saturday and had a great Chai. Great atmosphere and the employees were helpful. Definitely recommend.
Really very nice people. Make sure you try the single origin dopio. Im not sure how many they circulate through but its a great experience. Fulfill your inner coffee snob. Relax in the cafe with cool music and yummy eye candy.
My favorite coffee place.Lavender and kaladi lattes are my favorites. Also like their cold brew.Sean and Kira are my favorite baristas, but they are all really great.Susan makes the best drinks.Lumberjack sandwich is good.
Excellent spot full of vibrant people. Coffee is good and be sure to catch the happy hour drink specials for wine/beer!
Very very helpful both times I visited. Thanks for the coffee.
Great staff-suoer friendly and nice. good coffee. love that they let dogs in and they have a wide variety of baked goods.
Great place for Awesome Coffee. Yummy treats. And amazing conversations 🌟✨💖✨🌟
Really great service, nice atomsphere & I had an amazing drink something I have never tried before however it sounded good & tasted way better than expected. It was called a Kaladi soda highly recommend this drink.
Great coffee shop, and the best part is theyre dog friendly!
Great service and coffee!
As the first employee of KBC CIRCA 1985. I must say my big brother Brad Bigelow has never faltered on top quality and delicious coffee I highly recommend it!
This place has really good coffee, decent food/pastries, and some of the friendliest baristas around. They have a really unique atmosphere, and great variety of customers, which makes this one of the liveliest coffeehouses I know of. There is always something going on, and it buzzes with life and attitude. This is such a cool coffeehouse I bet other coffeehouses get jealous. :)Was just back to this place after months away from Covid, and they are still the friendliest coffeehouse around, feels like family and some of the best coffee Ive had all month!!
This place is great, the coffee is fresh roasted and has a mellow and low bitter taste that makes a great drip or espresso. The group of baristas are fun, talkative, and have a positive outlook and DJ good music. The line may seem long, but with four competent baristas it moves fast. They use local sourced bagels, treets, and sandwiches. The ability to have any of the major alternative milks makes my coffee much better than the slim pickins at the major chain corps, the place is comfortable, cool, and a wonderful place to meet friends. Its not a library like some of the other places that seem to be WeWork hangouts, Kaladi Brothers is a neighborhood coffee joint that has a vibe that encourages taking and getting to know the people you are out with. Highly recommended!
Great people, great products! Feel free to step to the other side of the building for Gay City events and their cool lending library!
Ordered an ice coffee here.....💯 so effing good! 😁
