I interacted with 2 sales persons at this store and they were knowledgeable, helpful and not pushy. For delivery and order updates they were on top of everything, even including a reminder to me about a promotional offer that I was eligible for related to my mattress purchase.Super happy with the Hillcrest Mattress Firm experience!

All I have to say is read the fine print on the receipt (which you dont get obviously until youve already bought it). One of their selling points is their 120 day guarantee if you dont like it. But there are still charges of you want to switch.Long story short, I wasnt happy with the electric base. After a lengthy back and forth with the sales associate I bought from, I asked to speak to the manager. He was extremely nice and very accommodating - incredible customer service. He completely resolved the issue.I only gave 4 stars simply due to the companies policies.

After more than a decade on the same old mattress, we headed to Mattress Firm on University Ave in Hillcrest (San Diego). The first thing that struck us about this store was the sales people didn’t impose themselves upon us in any way. They let us browse for a few minutes and then let us know they were available to assist us if/when we were ready. No hovering or pressure. After we narrowed down our choices we took our questions to Tony. He was polite, professional, helpful, and a pleasure to deal with. We will definitely go back (in another 10-12 years or so!) for our next mattress!Edit to add: And, to top off the great service, our new mattress was delivered the next day by two polite, careful and efficient men!!

I bought a Purple 2 mattress from the Mattress Firm in Hillcrest back in early 2020 and it literally saved my butt! Well, to be accurate, it saved my neck, spine and buttocks. It was smooth, fluid and was delivered and assembled in 2 days. They took the time to talk to me and hear what I wanted, what I needed, what I was looking to spend, and what I thought would be best for my spine based on the advice of my doctor. They didnt try to upsell me, throw off overstock products on me, and they offered me the best pricing for the options I wanted, along with affordable delivery and assembly. I went back a week ago to get new sheets and 2 pillows, and they were just as polite and professional. GREAT STORE! Ill never buy a mattress from anywhere else again. And thats coming from someone with a fractured spine, advanced osteoarthritis and spinal stenosis!

Jessica Watts was able to explain the various levels of mattresses & worked within our budget to get us an amazing sleep for the next 10+ years. She was attentive, caring, & gave us her full attention. Although all the mattresses looked the same, she was able to dumb things down for me so I was well informed. After much research my experience with mattress firm at the hill crest location was above exception. I had a literally been working with Jessica three or four times over several months. Each time she was incredibly welcoming and patient with me. Each time making me feel comfortable, answering all my questions and concerns. Today I finally took the plunge and purchased my new split king bed. It comes this week. I will update my review once the set up and my first nights sleep is complete. Five stars pending delivery and set up. UPDATE 2 weeks after my purchase I am sleeping like a baby, looking forward to getting into bed each night. Not that I didn’t before but having this new bed makes it all the more exciting. Thank you again mattress firm hillcrest. I have upped my rating from a 4 to a 5. Sweet dream everyone.

We just moved homes and wanted to upgrade to a new bed. Jessica helped us pick out the prefect mattress, and we even bought an adjustable base which is perfect for relaxing and watching tv. Both sides adjust so that one side can be up and the other down, feet as well which is extra nice! Let me tell you... our new mattress is SO comfortable! We just got back from a 10 day vacation, sleeping in nice hotels and seriously nothing compares to our new bed!

I hate shopping for beds. I had never had a good experience at a bed store....until today at Mattress Firm in Hillcrest. Antoinette (the manager) made us feel comfortable and gave us lots of space and time to try out as many beds for as long as we needed on each bed. She was there in an instant to answer the plethora of questions we had on several beds. She was knowledgeable, experienced, and patient. I saw her interact with another customer with the same respect and patience. I was impressed. We went in looking for a Beautyrest bed, but ended up buying a Foster and Sterns bed and two motorized platforms after two visits to the store. We also feel like we made a friend. Mattress Firm has a great selection of quality mattresses at good prices (especially the sales). I’m now a loyal customer at the Hillcrest store.

This mattress is 8 inches of pure heaven! I had been sleeping on a futon for too many years, and my back finally couldn’t take it any longer. I was worried I wouldn’t be able to afford a good new mattress, but I found this on sale and splurged on it. And I’m so glad I did. After just one little nap on this incredibly comfy mattress, my back already feels better. The people at Mattress Firm were really nice and helpful too. I’m just really so thankful for this great new life changing mattress.

On the day of delivery, you can actually track the progress of your order and know very accurate timing delivery will be made. The delivery people were professional and did a complete and professional setup, removing our old beds and all packaging debris. Really great service! Janeen helped us determine if we wanted a traditional spring mattress or if we wanted a hybrid, since we were unhappy with our current 100% memory phone low quality Amazon mattress. I went in to the store twice before finally making a purchase. Both Michelle and Wes were very helpful, answering all my questions. i think i tried out 6 different optic. I had actually purchased a mattress at another store. Immediately got buyers remorse because i spent way more than what i wanted to spend. We’d created a quote for me so I could properly compare pricing. I cancelled my other order and was able to complete my purchase over the phone and via email. It’s was really easy! i ended up spending $400 less than my original purchase (and get a 90-day sleep trial, which the other store didn’t offer me)! Looking forward to sleeping on my new mattress in a few days.

After discussing purchasing a new mattress for a few years, doing a bit of research online to discover our options, we walked into Mattress Firm and worked with Antoinette to find exactly what we were looking for and didnt know.Antoinette was wonderful as she shared with us the characteristics of each mattress allowing us to determine what was best. At no point did we feel pressured to make a decision, but we did and are so happy!In less than 24 hours, the mattress (and platform!) arrived allowing us to sleep more soundly on our decision than we did the previous night.

I have to say Mike at the store in hillcrest was knowledgeable, pleasant, and showed me a bed I could actually sleep on. My online experience was a nightmare and the bed I originally purchased was not a good fit. The online person wasnt helpful. In fact I didnt sleep for the entire 2 weeks that I tried it out. Never buy a bed online unless you have tried it out first. Be aware there is a $100 restocking fee if you return the mattress during the trial period which sucks as other places dont. Thanks Mike. The associates in the store were very friendly and helpful. They were able to get me the pillows I was looking for. They didn’t carry a specific item I was looking for anymore so they directed me to another place that would have what I was looking for.
