My partner and I were in need of a new mattress. Sandra was our salesperson and she was friendly, knowledgeable and patiently answered all of our questions about the various products while we tested several beds. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the store and their attention to keeping the beds and pillows sanitized so that customers are able to try out the mattresses. The purchasing process was easy and there was no up-selling. We were able to schedule delivery for 2 days from the purchase date. Our experience with Sandra at the showroom was 5 star. Cant wait for our new mattress to arrive.

Id been putting off getting my mattress. So I went into the Kearny Mesa store. A lovely lady Donna greeted me and we talked about what I was looking for. I explained I was going in for back surgery and guess what! Shed been there, done that. She was able to understand what I was looking for and what support I needed. She never tried to sell me anything that was not in my price range. I decided, I wanted to try the New Hybrids. Oh my gosh- that was something else, like a cloud. So I decided I deserved this and also wanted to give my back the support it needed. Its So Ill be seeing it this Friday! Very pleased with the overall process... selection, availability, check-out and scheduling.Delivery was set for next day. Multiple triggers were sent to me outlining delivery time frames. The delivery team was on time, professional, and knowledgeable of the unit I ordered. They were personable and efficient. Cleaned up and hauled away materials.This is exactly how it is supposed to work. Mattress Firm and their delivery team did an exemplary job and they now have a customer for life.

This was a surprisingly pleasant mattress purchasing experience. My wife and I went in on a Sunday with a budget in mind and a general idea of what we wanted. The salesperson Donna was very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating to our needs. Based on what we described to her as our sleep preferences, Donna was able to show us two great options, one in our price range and one slightly above. It turned out the one right in our price range was perfect for us and at no time did we feel pressured to purchase anything above our price range which I have definitely felt at other matress stores that agressively try to upsell you. The purchasing process was very simple and the discounts advertised online were actually honored and we ended up with a great matress for a great price. We were able to pick it up that day after a short drive to the warehouse. The pick up process was clear and easy and went quickly once we arrived. What a superb experience yesterday at Mattress Firm Kearny Mesa. Donna was so knowledgeable and helpful. There was no hard sell at any point, just an interest in my needs. This location has a lot of mattresses to try, which is very good as the process can feel daunting. And having a salesperson like Donna really makes all the difference. Also, Mattress Firm has very good policies for exchanging the mattress if it isnt the right one. I went to Bloomingdales also to check out their mattresses but ended up buying here at Mattress Firm Kearny Mesa. I highly recommend this company and this store.

Store manager Sandy Davidowitz very patiently listened to me and then helped with strategies to solve the bed needs in my home. I bought one Twin XL to go with a previous Twin XL that at her suggestion can be pushed together and made into a king sized bed. I will be back to work with her and determine the best queen bed. One of the worst experience i ever had. Right when you enter you feel uncomfortable. And when they know they can sell their mattresses on you then they will go on another level to convince you to buy what they want you to buy. It was so horrible i have never had such experience. i would never recommend them to anyone. The customer service was the main issue.

Very friendly/helpful service. We worked with Donna and she is great. Did not try to oversell us and didn’t push for sale either. We are upgrading to king so she helped identify the mattress that is closest to our current queen, which we love and wanted something similar since our current mattress is discontinued. She explained the differences with the similar matttreses. She also worked with us on ship date and personally made sure that mattress would be available and delivered on day we requested. Our sales consultant, Donna B. was exceptional in her service. She made me wish I hadn’t shopped anywhere else and went to her from the start. Donna was so knowledgeable about the mattresses and bases offered. She was able to point out the differences in products and find just what I was looking for.

We showed up 10 minutes before they closed and were immediately helped. It was a fantastic experience and this will be our go-to store for all future needs.

The employee Jo is such a cool guy! He definitely helped me pick out the best mattress for my needs. He explained every advantage of each mattress and explained the differences between each one. He also told me about the different sales going on for each mattress and I definitely felt like I got the best option! The mattress I got came with an adjustable base, which I couldn’t believe is a real thing. Walk in to the store and was greeted by Joe, as Donna was helping out a previous customer. He asked me how could he help and I told him I was looking for a firm Standard king size bed. He then asked me what was my price range and I told him between $$-$, he then led me to some of the higher price beds so that I can confirm whether I wanted a mattress that was more firm up top or more firm on the bottom with a softer top. He asked whether I was a back or side sleeper and I explained to him I was a side sleeper. After testing both I told him I liked the one that was firm but softer on the top. He then led me to the mattresses that were in my price range. I tested three mattress types and three base types. I feel in love with the hybrid Dawson firm with the foot and head adjustable base. Joe is very knowledgeable and was great to work with from his greeting, his knowledge and patience, and overall customer experience. Donna also provided some extra insight into the adjustable base as this is my first experience with one. Both associate are A+...Glad I came in today.

They had good service in store but there delivery team did not install the base like they were suppose to and told us it wouldnt work with our bed and left the 140lb base in our garage. when I got home I took it upstairs with my neighbor and installed it with no issue. paid 150 for delivery and set up and they didnt even try
