He explained the differences between them all in detail, helping us choose the perfect mattress for our needs. We are happy to say we were able to take home an incredible mattress that fit our budget just right.Since this was the first mattress store we stopped at, I naturally wanted to shop around to compare brands and prices. David was able to price-match our mattress to a local competitors online pricing, making it easier for us to decide on which mattress to get. Not to mention the 48-month, 0% APR financing option he offered us.The mattress we were buying included a $200 in gifts bonus. After we decided to buy it price matched (-$400), I asked about the $200 in gifts bonus and he mentioned this offer was only available if we bought the mattress full price. However, he also said he would call his boss and ask if he could still offer it to us.He called his boss, but the boss didnt pick up. So, instead of having us wait, he told us he would honor the $200 in gifts. For the gifts, we were going to be able to choose between pillows, a mattress cover, mattress frame, etc. We already had all those things, and since he had already done so much for us, I told him not to worry about it and that we didnt need the gifts.A few weeks later, the day our mattress was going to be delivered, we removed our old queen-size mattress and realized our bed frame was not adjustable to a king size (which is what we bought from David). I immediately called David and explained the situation. I asked if by any chance he could still offer us the $200 to get a bed frame from Ortho Mattress and he immediately said yes. If that is not flawless customer service, I dont know what is.Overall, the experience was incredible. Never did we feel he was trying to sell us something we didnt need, or something that was going to break our bank. He really seemed to care for our needs and for us to buy a mattress that would genuinely make us happy.Im sure we wont need another mattress for a while, but when we do, we will definitely buy from David again!

Had the best experience here. It was about a month long in and out process but they were not pushy which made me come back and actually opted out of the tempur-pedic bed for a Othro Hybrid. No regrets even bought two of their memory foam pillows. I loved the pillows so much that I came back and bought my parents a set. A bit expensive but worth it when it comes to my sleep. I recommend this store to anyone. Customer Service was great and they are dedicated to really helping you to find what you need. Now my family is ordering things online from this company!!

DAVID is the best! I started my mattress shopping day WINDOW shopping. I was dead set on just looking and gathering prices and info. David didnt know this but we had already been to 3 other mattress stores(Mattress Firm, Macys, and Jeromes) before stopping by Ortho Mattress. Upon walking in I immediately felt a big difference in the vibe. David was polite, informative, and beyond helpful. This was our last stop of the day, just wanted to check out the inventory. From the first stop at Mattress Firm I was lowkey sold on a Therapeutic mattress but the one I was interested in was about $3699 ABOVE the price I was looking for . So seriously my mind was made up we were not buying. David didnt have the typical salesman approach that makes you feel pressure to buy or that youre being hussled out of your money just so they can get the sale. He approached me with genuine concern as to why we were shopping for a new mattress. He educated me on a few I was looking at, especially with my Fibromyalgia pain. He allowed us to take our time, feel out the products for ourselves and not once did I feel rushed or turned off by a salesman pitch. Like I told David most people will buy a regular mattress under $500 and call it a day... if a customer is walking into a mattress store they are prob in pain NEEDING something to help them. Salesman are then like bed doctors, we are in need of a life changing mattress for pain and having a salesman like David is just what I needed. I could ramble on all day about Davids amazing customer service but to make a long story short... we left Ortho Mattress that day and returned within a few hours. I just knew I needed to buy a mattress and it had to be from you all. Just the genuine care and concern David showed alone sold me . I didnt want to give my business to anyone but him. Not only did we buy a mattress this day.... bought a King size and frame, in a model that costs way more than the $3600 I thought was too much at Mattress Firm. Amazing customer service and genuine concern sold me this day. My bed wouldnt even be ready for 2 weeks and I STILL purchased it . David took the time to explain everything costs, scheduling, delivery etc. And just as he stated they texted the day before to remind me, called an hr before arriving and was in and out within 15-20 mins. Ive been in heaven ever since. Best purchase Ive made in a long time. I havent stopped once to think about the cost because David made me feel that secure in my purchase. I cant say Thank You enough. I bought a new mattress, pillows and adjustable bed from the Ortho in La Jolla on 1.24.19 totaling $6,189 and now the remote is shot (works sporadically and by itself occasionally!)! I called this store, La Jolla one is out of business, I wonder why?, and while Mark was very nice all he can do for me is sell me another remote for $150 or deliver one tomorrow for $300!Julian, I called the number on my remote as soon as it started malfunctioning and those *&^!!s didnt call me back for 5 DAYS! I had already ordered another one from amazon for twice as much. When they called the guy was totally indifferent. I called you and left a voicemail Saturday.

I called Ortho to purchase an identical second mattress to the one we purchased last March. I specifically asked for David, because he was the original salesman. I asked for him because we felt he was a very friendly and helpful salesman. He also seemed very knowledgeable about Ortho’s stock and gave us information that pertained to our needs and concerns. We never felt pressured to make a decision, but his presentation of all options was so clear that our decision to buy was easy. I should add that, if we had experienced the feeling of being pressured, we would have left the store. Thankfully, this did not happen. Ortho is to be congratulated for having such an excellent sales person. We will always consider Ortho in the future for our bedding needs.

I was lucky enough to work with David. I walked into the Miramar store and literally asked for box mattress. I was not willing to spend more than $300 on a full-size mattress. My mind was made up. Until I spoke with David. He was super helpful, non-baits, and just straight forward about what it means to have a proper bed. He is extremely knowledgeable and was willing to work with me in terms of how I was going to pay off the mattress. I went with one that was worth $2500! He gave me a huge discount plus threw in a few goodies. When I went back to the store, I heard he had relocated to a different location. Each mattress is made-to-order and deliveries are made on Wednesdays or Saturdays and they provide a convenient two hour window and arrived somewhere around the middle for me. (Delivery charge is included in the price of the mattress as well).

This was a very pleasant experience. Scott Beason was as patient and helpful as you could ever ask. I was kind of a pain in the butt because I asked about 1,000 questions and it took me about 4 months to make a decision. When I finally made my decision, I still waited a month before I went through with buying it. In the end, he made the entire process even easier than I could have imagined.

We started our mattress shopping experience at Mattress Firm and had horrible experience! They delivered our $4k+ mattress with a huge hole in the top, we refused delivery and they werent able to delivery another new mattress for several days so we cancelled our order. Ortho Mattress was able to get us a phenomenal mattress at a much better price and a wonderful experience from start to finish. Ortho Mattress is 100% the way to go!!

They will make every attempt to up sell another mattress. David is the most deceptive sales person he will flat out lie to you and defraud you out of your signed contract. I am in the process of sueing this business. I am now being mocked by Corporate that my lawsuit is less than $1000 and will be only seen in small claims. Jill Bates in Corp. WARNING The mattress they manufacture are low budget defective and NOT the mattress you try in their showrooms! I read another review about the exact same issue we have encountered after our purchase in their San Diego location . Our salesman was David a sweet talking used car salesman who was fired from Jeromes Furniture. The guy sold our family a lemon. And Ortho Mattress refuses to honor the contract. The 100 day guarantee is a scam! And they will not make good on any of their agreements. We were told If we wanted to exchange mattress it would have to be an increased charge on an upgradeWill not even allow you to buy a sale prices its a fraud. My husband and I will be suing for a refund

And they will not return for exchange

Dont go here. Or if you do, be ready for nightmare delivery and trash customer service. We bought our mattress here and the delivery movers were late, and broke a light in the hallway. Then we needed to exchange the boxspring, and the movers the second time didnt show up after we took the day off. No one called to let us know that the delivery wasnt coming. We finally got the exchange a week later, but in the meantime, it took the supervisor a week to call and apologize. The delivery fee was not waived. Just try the bed in the store and order it online.

They are engaging in outright-consumer deception.I have some low back trouble and am tall, so I needed a large mattress, so I opted for a California King.The standard size for a Cal King is supposed to be 72 in × 84 in.When the product arrived at my house it was marked as 71x 83in, and measured 70 inch x 82 inch. Where did 308 square inches of mattress go? Even taking the extreme pessimist margin of error of -1 inch on each dimension, this is outside the realm.This company relies on consumers trusting the standards and then, to save on costs, delivers them less than what was paid for. I do not recommend doing business with them.
