I cannot say enough about the quality of service that I received from David after my home remodel. I had been on the search for a sofa that looked good, was affordable and child proof from 10 grandchildren. He not only picked out the perfect sectional, but a coffee table, and carpet that are not only beautiful, but child and pet proof. He has an unbelievable eye for detail and also helped me with a rug in my master bedroom, a dresser and a mirror for my upstairs hallway. I will be a faithful patron of D3 Home Modern Furniture for years to come.

Walked in to a smile and a nice greeting. David Horst was not only helpful but receptive to all my questions regarding my hunt for the perfect office chair to help with my lower back pain. It was great to be able to check out some Herman Miller chairs in person as well as cruise around a really cool shop with tons of great smelling candles and modern furniture. I would 100% recommend this place.

After a year of back pain due to using a low-quality chair while working from home, we decided to head to the pros at D3 to check out some Herman Miller products. David helped us out and showed us the Aeron chair. It was great getting to test it out in the store and see all the different customization options available. D3 delivered my chair to my home, and unboxing a Herman Miller chair is so fun! The chair came fully assembled, so I literally just opened the box “door” and rolled the chair out!I’ve been using the chair for over a month now and I LOVE it! I don’t have back pain anymore, which is more than worth the price of the chair. The chair is so comfortable, yet supportive.My husband and I have purchased many items from D3 and love them all! The design expertise of each member of the team has helped refresh our home, which is so important as we spend so much time at home during these times. For years prior my first purchase from D3 Modern, I have been visiting occasionally to check out their selections. At the time I was drooling all over their showroom but couldn’t yet afford to buy any of the pieces as I was living in a small condo that already had enough furniture and decor. Last year when my wife and I purchased our home. This store was at the top of our list to check out. We knew what we wanted and we just hoped they had it. The staff and owners are very welcoming and helpful in finding us the furniture that fits our needs. Our first purchase was a sleeper sofa for our guest bedroom and home office. A few months after we returned to purchase a console/buffet shelves that was narrow enough for our dining room. In the future I won’t hesitate to buy from D3 over a bigger furniture store. I highly recommend this place. You have to have great taste in modern furnishings and decor to buy from this place.

Working with David at D3 has been amazing. They were all very accommodating to our schedule with buying our new home and furniture. I was eyeing our table but hadn’t closed on the new house so has to wait to buy but they were so accommodating. I looked everywhere for an affordable, high quality double dresser and finally found it in the Marcel dresser from D3! I ordered online sight unseen, but D3 was super helpful in answering all my questions and keeping me updated with shipping details. Anyone in the hunt for great personal service, high-quality furniture that does not come from a cookie cutter and is priced for good value should not miss D3 Home in Little Italy. In June, we special-ordered a leather sofa and armchairs and a dining table, and we bought dining chairs off the floor. Every aspect of these purchases - the selection of products, the covid security in the store, the pricing, the order process and Daves communications throughout - was superlative. Delivery is handled by an independent contractor we paid separately, and Andrew was a dream, too. Our experience could not have been better, and the furnishings are even better than imagined when we bought them. Recommended without reservation.

We ordered the oak Marcel bed, dresser and nightstands from D3 Home and are in love! Smart, modern and beautiful - just what we had searched for months for. David was quick to respond and helpful from the beginning and when one of the rails to our bed arrived damaged in transit, he had the manufacturer ship us a replacement piece in just a day or two. David at D3 was super nice and helpful when it came to ordering my Bingo Stool. COVID really complicated things but David was always diligent about giving me an update. Would order again! Long story short, the stool looks great and well worth the wait.

I love the store and their furniture, but they miserably fail to fulfill the two core elements of customer service - compassion and communication. The employee that worked in the store on Sunday, January 10th at 4:20PM did not have the right skills and etiquette for handling any customer. I would never support a business like this in my neighborhood.

Ive been to this store a few times, and they do carry some good furniture, however the service at this location is awful. Last time i visited the store about a week ago the person working there had a terrible attitude and was rude beyond believe, I was shocked someone can speak like this to a customer. Me and my gf left the store never to come back.

If you are looking for furniture and home furnishings that are a little bit different then this is a good place to check out. Prices are reasonable.

David and his team at D3 are so nice and helpful. When I stumbled across their store David was on his way out the door but he stopped what he was doing and helped me through my decision process until I found the perfect piece for my home. He also went above and beyond by showing me multiple other options to make sure I was comfortable with my decision and there wasn’t something else out there that might work better. Ordered online and had a great customer experience! my item was back ordered and i was updated with transparency all throughout my order.

I live nowhere near San Diego, but came across EQ3 while looking for a good deal on a new dining table to order online. I had terrible experiences with other online retailers - I had to return THREE tables that were either damaged or just not the item I ordered at all and had the worst time getting a hold of a real human to talk to. Not so with EQ3. Both the product and service were excellent. I got clear and constant communication about my order - from real people, not automated e-mails. My table is beautiful & high quality, and people have (completely unprompted) commented on how nice it looks! Very happy with my purchase and will definitely order from EQ3 again.

In search of bar stools for our kitchen island bar, we stopped into D3. We wanted something with the support of a high back bar stool without the high back. They had exactly what we were looking for & available in the perfect color. The staff was very friendly & helpful. Usually you get people pushing you on something completely unrelated to what it Is you specifically asked for. Not the case here. They listened to our needs & answered them. WOW, this furniture store is just amazing. Great modern furniture but also you can tell it is of good quality. By far, I believe it is the best furniture store in San Diego, not only because of the best quality but also because of their affordable prices. The owner, who is an interior designer, is so welcoming and gave me amazing tips about decorating my apartment, which it looks amazing now.I really recommend this store !

After my first experience, Im already a customer for life and I couldnt be happier to recommend them to anyone.David Diehl (the owner) and David (his rockstar teammate) could not have been more helpful (and fun) to work with as I began to outfit my new space.After scouring the web and hitting the pavement to find somewhere in the San Diego area that aligned with my aesthetic - I found D3. And, I am so grateful that I did. Especially, during this Covid-19 era where online shipping would be 4-6 weeks+. Regardless, Ill still buy from here on out. Convenient or not, its just amazing to support small businesses that blow you away.This team is made up of just genuinely wonderful people.I had put together mood-boards with everything I needed, and the style I was after.
