This is by far the absolute best Mattress store I have ever been too. Neal and Juan are phenomenal people. They don’t try to sell you anything they try to make sure that you are making the best decision for yourself. I am such an indecisive person that Neil had to calm me down, ask me what bed did I like the most, and explained all three of them to me . He gave me a pillow and told me to lay on each bed as if I was going to sleep. He cut the lights out and played music just so I could be comfortable and relaxed as if I was already home. This made my decision easier, then he explained the differences between the mattress again and why some mattresses were a better choice based on size and purpose. Finally I was able to come to a Decision after an hour. They truly allowed me to take my time. No rushing. I felt how much they truly cared. They are military friendly. We had a really difficult move. Our new furniture was delayed and we had ordered a mattress online only to have that delayed over and over until it was canceled. We had been sleeping on an air mattress for over a week and a half when we found this store online.We were able to get a last minute appointment and Neal was incredibly helpful. He had us try multiple mattresses until we found the perfect one. We were able to find our new mattress in under an hour and are incredibly happy with the results. He was very kind and informative, and his mattresses are extremely discounted from the prices you would find elsewhere.

Just purchased a new bed from mattress by appointment, (aka Neil) just a killer deal. Wasn’t sure at first about the phenomenal price but after going outside and seeing the mattress we were looking at was 3500 for a king and to have them sell it for almost half off is amazing especially being in the restaurant industry and being sore every night we are extremely excited to be enjoying it. Not to mention he threw in a nice mattress protector too, make sure to come in if your not sure what kind of mattress you enjoy. Neil will have you lay on many to be as safe as possible.

Ive never met a mattress salesman as knowledgeable as Neal Birnbaum. I went to both Jeromes and to Mors however, it wasnt until I found Mattress By Appointment, that I found a mattress that had all the qualities that were blended together in order to give me the bed and the price that I was looking for: One that was able to give me a pleasant night of slumber or a quick nap.I had no idea that the building process of a mattress was so complex; that there were so many factors that came together before it was 100% complete and ready to be slept in.I spent a couple days browsing the internet and searching through some of the inventory carried by a few stores - even the Goodwill - looking for a nice queen sized mattress/bed; it isnt that easy to just walk in to any store that sells mattresses and expect to get exactly what youre thinking of buying, especially when youre on a limited income.It can often be very difficult, especially when a bed is something that you rarely buy.What first enticed me to visit Neals store was his super- highway of ads on his internet site, where the mattresses were sold with 40%, to even 80% to 90% discounts.In my opinion, I thought that several of the internet advertisements could have been changed to read less than what I thought was a come on.What I didnt realize, was the lowest price - $150 - was for a single sized foam mattress however, it didnt include the box spring or the frame.It would have been perfect for a younger person.Anyhow, when I was out comparing prices of different beds and due to the high demand of bedding and furniture, per Neals statement and due to the coronavirus, some of the prices were shocking!I saw stores with beds for $1000 to $3000, so all Ill say, is you get what you pay for and a lot less if you dont know what youre doing.Neal was able to find me a nice queen sized bed that I liked, with a mattress that had a small pillowtop, coil springs, a box spring and a queen frame.Mattress By Appointment had HUNDREDS of nice mattress/ bed combinations to choose from and I probably should have bought a Ten Year Warranty Mattress Protector but, since I probably didnt have the money to buy one anyway and wasnt really told what it was, it would have been pointless to ask.The bed has a five year guarantee and Neal was able to give me myriad tips about bed types, designs and a card explaining tips to extend the life of my mattress.I walked out with a complimentary $100 discount and a beautiful memory foam pillow and now all I need is another pillow and some new bed linens. Id like a big fluffy comforter for both me and my cat.The best bonus to come along with Mattress By Appointment, is the highly personalized service that you get from the stores owners.All you have to do is call them and you get a private appointment at your convenience, showing by the proprietors of this very unique store, who know everything about the mattresses that they sell at discount prices, that you are shopping for a new mattress.

I went searching for local company here in San Diego when MDG twice failed on customer service. Their database isnt in sync or the sales person didnt look in the database to see if the item I wanted was in stock. I get a call back twice and was informed I needed to make a different selection. At that time i informed MDG cancel my account, purchase, etc... because theres no excuse for the issues that was presented. This led me to Google search local companies for a mattress/box spring here in San Diego. I contacted this company and came across Neal. Neal was very informative on the initial call and I set up a time to go in and look at what this company had to offer. Upon getting there Neal asked some questions like you like firm, soft, etc... any back issues, etc.... After a few minutes I was shown 3 beds. I got on all 3 and from there was shown 3 more beds. These were from the initial 3 of the firm, soft, etc... and other questions. From the 2nd round of 3 was shown a few others. At that time I decided on a bed and adjustable frame. They was able to deliver it the same night too, which was amazing. Overall, I was very pleased and the bed is comfy and sleeping better at night too!

The staff was friendly and informative. We had to leave to work in an hour and a half, and the owner was willing to ship the mattress we chose right away before we leave the house! Just got 3 mattresses. Neil was great, from the first call to delivery. Top rate excellent customer service. He was very knowledgeable and for anything he didn’t know he researched ahead of time (we asked pretty unique questions). If you are buying a mattress, especially if you are in a hurry, this is the way to go. We also probably spent half of what we thought we would!

They were kind in order to make a sale, but it has been 6 months and the mattress has completely broken down. It was great for the first 3 months and now has two huge indentations from where we sleep and gives us body aches every single night! Their product is beyond disappointing and I spent over $1000.They do not guarantee their products. I recommend you go to a store that does when making a large purchase.
