My 2004 Honda Accord was in desperate need of a new paint job. From the last two photos you can see how the paint was literally a different color and it was worn down to the bare metal along the roof and trunk. Had my whole car repainted in black The window trim even the grille all jet black at my request The car was over 11 years old ran great but paint just got damaged but texas sun was never able to park in garage . This place did a great job they were busy crowed with cars needing repaint or body work or both . After about a week and half it was worth the wait . Glossy black finish they had to sand down alot some parts down to metal even but it was great car had sentimental value 2006 car my wife bought me I planned on keeping it forever : )

Corky and everyone there was very helpful and friendly and did in amazing job repainting and blending my sun damaged hood. They even went above and beyond by thoroughly detailing inside and out at no extra cost. Corky even tries to save you money he advised me not to change the headlights and just polished them making them look brand new. I would come here for whatever automotive painting you can think of even if you want to make your car into a Barbie car and paint it pink just come here.

I am from CA, unaccustomed to San Antonio. I had tree sap all over the hood of my car that I did not notice had been on my car until my roommate told me. I attempted to clean it off myself, and ended up accidentally scratching my car in multiple spots. My car is a lease, and i frantically drove to the nearest Autozone. The worker laughed in my face, was extremely rude, and highly unprofessional. The worker told me i would need to repaint my entire hood and there is nothing that could be done and i need to take my car to the dealership. His customer began to laugh with him as well until I called them out for their lack of professionalism.The moment I arrived at First Choice I was immediately greeted w/ multiple smiles and helping hands by more than one worker. One of the workers informed me that the painter could take a look at my car right away. The painter happily told me he could buff out the scratches- and the best part he could do it right away! The painter was extremely nice, and before i knew it my car was brought back to get worked on. The two workers (i unfortunately did not collect names) were extremely kind. My car was completed no longer than 20 minutes looking PERFECT. You could not see any of the previous scratches, and they even so kindly fixed some prior scratches next to it! i cannot thank First Choice enough for their amazing service. Please come here. i 100% recommend it. (sorry for the tree in the way of the pic) but it looks fantastic!

My experience has changed I found out that the workmanship First Choice performed on my car was extremely poor damaging several parts. This damage will cost me $1,200 in additional repairs. Pick another place theres many in town.

I just picked up my 2009 Toyota Corolla on 8/21/19 from First Choice and it looks great, close to new condition. Im thrilled with the quality of work given the cost of the job.My wife and I bought this car brand new from a local Toyota dealership in 2009. After a few years we noticed that the paint was fading and chipping off. The factory paint job on this car was a failure. By the time I took it to First Choice half the hood was down to the metal and the paint on the rest of the hood could be chipped off with a shop rag! The roof of the car was in similar condition along, with the trunk. I guess this is what happens with Toyota factory paint in the San Antonio, Texas heat!The estimator Daniel Mirelez did a fantastic job of estimating the cost and the time it would take. 8 days later the car was ready the day Daniel said it would be and the price was exactly the same. My family met the owner of the business, Andrew Wittig, and we were really impressed how friendly and down to earth he was. Everyone at First Choice seemed to truly care about us. Andrew even took a picture of us with the car to put on his Happy Customer wall.Overall, Im extremely satisfied with First Choice. I had been warned from a mechanic friend of mine that finding an honest paint & body shop, with a good price, and a quality result, would be difficult here in San Antonio. First Choice proved that wrong!

My daughters car needed the headlight replaced, as well as the surrounding panels and some of the frame. The team took good care of everything, work was excellent. They explained all the repairs to her, and got her back on the road in a few days

Great service and quality at an affordable price. I brought in my 2018 Dodge Ram and had the rear bumper replaced and painted as well as the tail light replaced. Horrible service. Price and time kept getting bumped from what was originally agreed upon, twice. After a week of waiting with no updates or calls from them, Andrew asked me to come get the car. Then Andrew still charged me for the labor on an unfinished job. Horrible customer service. Keep your money and go elsewhere.I know you are gonna respond that the itemized 3 hours was completed, but the job you agreed to was not. This will come back to you.

Fast, friendly and reliable service. Thats what best sums up this auto body shop. Our vehicle was taken in the same day I called asking for a request for quote. It was in and out within three days (as advertised at the quote stage) fixing a scratch, and Im talking a deep scratch on one of our fenders. The paint had to be blended in with the other factory paint, and turned out seamless and matched perfectly. Great job guys, keep up the good work. You now have a repeat customer.

I did a paint job and 18 months later the corrosion that supposed to be removed was coming back. The owner stated that there was no warranty, so if you go there be adviced that the job might be a sloppy one. Very dissatisfied with them.

I backed into a cement post and needed a whole new bumper. I have used Choice Auto before and I am familiar with their exceptional level of professionalism and great work. Once again they helped repair my car making it better than ever.They are fast, efficient and affordable. I will use them again and I suggest others to use them as well.

I really wanted to give a three-star review, because they really messed up on scheduling, timeliness in returning my vehicle, and initially ordered incorrect parts, BUT THESE GUYS WOULD SIMPLY NOT STOP WORKING TO MAKE THE ERROR RIGHT! THE GENERAL MANAGER PROVIDED A DISCOUNT WITHOUT MY ASKING FOR IT, AND THE OWNER CONTINUE TO BE UPBEAT AND FRIENDLY, EVEN REMEMBERING MY NAME WHEN I RETURNED, 2 WEEKS AFTER PICKING UP MY VEHICLE. Everyone at Choice is so polite and accommodating. I feel they charge a fair price for the work that needs to be done. Choice always does a fantastic job. I have never been disappointed with the quality of their work. Choice has been our go to body and paint shop for over 6 yrs. Definitely a thumbs up.

One of my employees had a tailgate that wasn’t opening or closing. I didn’t know what was wrong. I took it into First Choice and the manager came and looked at it. He got it to open and noticed that the hinge wasn’t properly aligned. He fixed it in 20 seconds and put it on the house. What a stud. This is why I have gone to them in the past and will continue to for any issues we have. Great customer service!

Extremely positive overall experience. I shopped around before deciding on Choice Auto Paint and they are very reasonably priced compared to other places. Receiving an estimate based on the pics I provided was quite convenient. The staff was friendly and professional. I was very satisfied with the quality of work and will bring in my other vehicle for a paint job.

A day after paint work was complete the quality of finish was noticed to be very poor. Agreed to pay additional to redo part of the job after a lot of debating. Now, a few months later, paint is flaking off on other parts of the vehicle. But, I will not return here for any services.

Choice Auto Paint & Body did a fantastic job on my BMW and Tundra pickup truck. I have received compliments on the paint quality on my BMW and will refer anyone to them. I had a small issue that the owner bent over backwards and made it right. I took my insurance claim there, my vehicle was fixed on time and during the entire process I received updates. This is my auto body shop. Quality, Price and Service go a long way and this place nails all three.

Great paint job on my 2005 Dodge Charger... I get compliments often on how show-room gorgeous my car looks.Recently took my car back because a tiny piece of pinstripe was peeling. The owner replaced about 70% of all the striping, beyond what was peeling. Ive recommended them to my friends and family, and they all agree there is no better auto paint and body than Choice.

Took my truck in friday & got back monday. They did quick work @ a fair price, but they damaged my bug/stone shield which they acknowledged after I called them. They told me they were looking to get me a replacement and woukd call me back after speaking with them several times. I moved to San Antonio a year ago and had no knowledge of a reputable, fair, and honest paint shop. I got an estimate from one shop that was outrageous and chose to get another from Choice simply by google search roulette. I lucked out. They are friendly. Dan, the owner, gave me a very straightforward fair estimate and also found a replacement bumper online for me I picked my car up yesterday and it looks amazing. I told Dan that I don’t want to have to ever see him again but if I do need paint or body work, I know exactly where I’m going.

I went with the 592 special, my car looks really good, people have ask is that the same car or did you buy another one. Great place to take your car, even took me to work when I dropped off my car. Choice Auto Paint & Body re-painted our white 1994 Buick LeSabre (had been a grandparents car) and fixed a cracked off corner of a front quarter panel. They did exactly what they said they would. No surprises. The painting job looked great. And, the cost was very reasonable. I would definitely use Choice again.

I took my Honda Accord in to have the rear bumper replaced and was very happy with the service. They worked with my insurance company adjuster and it was a very easy process. After the repair was completed I asked the manager about a different area on the front bumper where it was winging out a little. He got one of his guys to do it for no charge! That was totally over and above what I was expecting and will definitely take my car there again in needed.

The staff was very courteous and professional and their work speaks for itself. I’m very pleased with the service they provided. Top notch, exemplary service. I would recommend to anyone.

This place was amazing. I Had my first ever accident and had no ideal how to handle everything with the insurance quote and all that and they helped me out a lot. The employees were nice, helpful and overall i had a great experience with them. the price was pretty cheap compared to the other shops that i looked around. i had a bumper and side skirts painted here for $400.00, not that bad. the reason why Im giving 3 stars is because at first glance the paint job looked great but at closer inspection the front bumper was riddled with signs of a bad paint job. there was dust in the paint which creates small bumps in the paint (not that noticeable and probably could be buffed out), rough patches (probably could be buffed out too), and there were runs. fortunately the biggest run was on the lower part of the bumper which made it harder to see. the side skirts were done pretty well and i couldnt notice anything wrong with paint job on those. on the bright side 2 weeks later i got into an accident and i had to get a new bumper, i had it painted by a different company and they did a great job with the paint, a lot better then these guys. still i would probably come back here for a paint job on small parts, larger body parts as well as whole body paint jobs i would recommend someone else.

I will recommend Choice Auto for anyone looking to get body work and refinishing done. They did a superb job on my lifted Toyota Tundra. The body is now straight as an arrow and the finish is near perfect. They thoroughly meet expectations, and at a decent price.

I went here to have a spoiler painted. The quote and time frame were reasonable. They called earlier than expected saying it was done, on a Fri. But when I was looking it over I saw a multitude of defects. All over my spoiler were dirt/sand in the paint. Clear evidence of improper prep and quality. The was also a small crack that wasnt even addressed, they painted over it leaving a clear valley in the paint. It looked terrible. They said theyd redo it over the weekend so they could take their time, itd be ready Mon morning.Mon comes, it wasnt even touched. Wasnt done till the following Fri. They barely touched up the crack and the same defects were all over my spoiler, looks like sand is trapped in the paint/clear coat. Plus orange peel all over as well.The managers only response was they dont have a 150k paint booth so that will happen, they cant paint anything perfect, it will always have that. Then he points to a sign that says This is a production paint facility, defects will show through. sand in the paint is not a defect of the part. Its a product of poor workmanship. I will never go back to this shop. I am very unhappy.

Was shopping around for an affordable paint and clear coat option, not wanting to use the Urethane paint option. They had a link to email or text your car to them, and Dan was quick on getting me a price! Not only was it VERY affordable (most paint shops wanted 3x-4x what he charged for the same paint job), but the paint work itself was BETTER then the original! (I had the Honda painted about 2 years ago, and the painter then didnt even get the color right :/ ). I am VERY pleased with using this shop, a much better alternative to Maaco specials.

I took my Hyundai Elantra to Choice Auto to repair a dented fender after being hit by a Jeep. When I picked up my car, it looked like nothing had ever happened. The paint matched perfect! But what I loved most about this place is the friendliness of the staff. Every time I called or went to the shop, Bill and Laura were there and quick to help me with what I needed. The old paint on my truck was peeling and fading badly after years in the Texas sun. I knew I needed to get it repainted but I was worried about finding a good quality place to do it without ripping me off. After lots of research, I determined that Choice Auto was my best bet. I sent them a picture of the truck and they quickly came back with a good estimate. I took the truck in during Thanksgiving week knowing I wouldnt need it as much. They told me exactly how much it would cost and when it would be ready. I appreciate that they clearly let me know what to expect up front. I hate it when businesses tell you they can do something in 3 days just to draw you in when they know it will actually take 5. Not the case with Choice Auto, everything was ready just when they said it would be. Now my 12+ year-old truck looks shiny and new and I am very happy.

After looking and getting estimates from other places to get my hood painted, CHOICE was way more affordable and they gave even gave me a quote over the phone unlike the other places. Awesome!!! I was blown away by the final results. I hit a deer in my 2004 Toyota Corolla causing front end damage, the car also had years of peeling paint over the entire body. The staff was extremely helpful and kept me up to date on what was going on and worked with my insurance. The front bumper cover and hood were replaced and the car repainted the original color. My car looks better than it did when i bought it! I highly recommend their expertise and will take all of my business to them in the future.

I have taken three car projects to Choice Auto Paint & Body. Two were frame off restorations. One a 1946 Willys CJ2A. They did extensive body work and had the Jeep looking great. The latest project was fixing a couple of large dents in the fenders on my dually truck. It looks brand new. I highly recommend these guys!

Avoid this place! This paint shop was paid a large sum to paint an SUV; not only was nothing primed, there was only a coat or two of paint and maybe a single layer of topcoat! They lost a body panel, other panels were improperly installed and came off while I was driving, and they even broke the cover caps of the roof rack. They even misplaced my valve stem caps and I had to air up my tires right after leaving! The paint is peeling off of the bumper, there are swirls and orange peel! The owner did nothing to make it right, even after promising to! I wish I had gone to Maaco!

New ownership has brought this place down- shoddy work, took months to get my vehicle back, radiator was not mounted properly, kinked power steering line was not replaced, parts were lost, at one point they told me they couldnt find a part... took me 5 seconds on google to find it- avoid. At very least, the total came out to be far less than originally quoted- so Ill give a star for that.

Choice took on the job of changing my 06 Hyundai Elentra from Electric Blue to Jet black, with some small body work ... The job took on or about 5 days and it was so well prep and painted that its hard to tell the original color was Blue, For the price and Quality of work, 100%% Happy and this job gets my 5 Stars...

This place is a ripoff. They charged me for work they never did. They painted over existing pin stripes without even sanding them down first. They broke my drivers seat. They broke my passenger side window. They lost my spoiler and my front license plate. They took 4 months to do the job even thought they said it would only take 2 weeks. Their excuse: they had a new person working on the car. Do not bring your vehicle here if you care about it.

I have a 2014 mustang and I will admit I’m a horrible driver and my car attracts deer. My cars been here several times and they always make my smirfette look good! Great place!!

Excellent overall experience. This was the second paint job for my 2003 Toyota Celica GT, which was silver from the factory (in 2007, I painted it to a metallic baby blue color at MAACO). I originally went in to fix up only the areas where the paint had faded, but Bill, the manager very honestly told me that the price difference would be minimal between this and a completely new paint job. He told me that the paint on the rest of my car was faded (true), so the new paint would not be a perfect match on the rest of the car.So I went with the entirely new paint job, and could not be happier. I dropped my vehicle off on Tuesday at 10 am, it is now Friday and they were done at 3 pm as promised. I have not seen such fast service in San Antonio.I received a single stage paint job, with an integrated clear coat - $699 (a very basic job as opposed to separate clear coats which add extra gloss). I was worried that my car would not appear as glossy or metallic as it originally had, but its perfect. Of course, the true test will be how it lasts with time, but CHOICE gave me a three year warranty included.I had heard that cheap paint jobs were just not worth it, and Im very glad I gave CHOICE a shot. Every person I dealt with was absolutely professional, very polite, and knowledgeable.

Took window louvres to be painted. Job took about 2 weeks. First time I went to pick them up it was a very bad paint job. Made them redo them. Manager/owner insinuated I could take them if bad part was on bottom. 4 days later they were ready. Looked decent. Asked if I would get a break on price since I wasted some much time and gas going back and forth. Manager/owner said nice try but no. Barely received an apology for shoddy work first time dont know why I expected anything different. Wont use them again. I reccomend using anyone else.

I just had some body work and paint done on my 2002 Acura RSX from Choice Auto Paint & Body. EXCELLENT JOB!!!! I had previously got quotes from several body shops in and around San Antonio that were way out of my price range. Choice gave me a great price and finished my car in a timely manner as they said they would. The owner Dan was very helpful in consulting me on all the paint options they offer explaining every one in detail. I will recommend them to everyone I know looking for paint and body work. I could not have been happier with the service I received at Choice. I found their information online, and called to inquire about removing some SERIOUS dents in my trucks roof and a complete paint job. Dan was very upfront that removing the dents might not be possible, but they would give it a few hours to see what they could do. There were no hidden costs. Dan and his team kept me in the loop throughout the entire process. One of the most friendly group of people I have ever seen working together. Bottom line: all dents removed, paint job looks unbelievable, my 20 year old truck literally looks brand new. I would recommend this business to anyone!!!

Im real picky about reviews, but i took my black coupe there to get my front bumper fixed and repainted since it got damaged around black friday, these guys surprised me. I brought my vehicle and got it back the same week. I was impressed with how well my bumper came out in a short period of time and whats even better is the pricing, very reasonable. I will be coming back for sure if i need any repairs or even any custom body work that i might do later on.

I recently had an aftermarket bumper mounted on my 350z here. The guy at the front desk is super nice, and was a pleasure to deal with.My issue is with the person who happened to be working on my car. From an exterior view, everything lined up fine, and the bumper fits the car with minimal seam gaps.There was an issue with the hood closing, which led to me needing to sand down the top part of the bumper, (which I had first requested to be done), but this wasnt such a big deal.However, a month or so later when I go to remove the bumper to have it painted, I find that the bodyman, had drilled out the OEM mounting hole on the top bracket, which was already in line before I brought it in, so he could fit the wrong size plastic clips in place.Additionally, and the biggest issue I have, is the bumper to fender brackets were not attached to the bumper itself, as it was done originally.The guy simply drilled straight through the bracket, bumper, and fender, which is not correct. Even though I provided all of the necessary clips and hardware.This led to the original plastic attatchment points being drilled out, and replaced with a junk metal clip on the fender. (Metal on metal contact).Now not only is the bumper not mounted to the OEM hole locations, but most of my original mounting tabs/ locations have been destroyed, which would require me having to purchase new fenders entirely, to correct what was done.I came here because of the great reviews, and I was happy with the work done, until I needed to take it apart and see the kind of absolute shoddy/ poor work that was done on my car.If you dont work on your own vehicle and dont care how things are attached then this may be the place for you. But if you take pride in your vehicle, I wouldnt trust this location because of the particular bodyman, who rigged my bumper onto the car. What a dissappointment...

Do not take your vehicle here. I took my truck to get the hood and roof painted, they broke my bug guard and just threw it in the back of the truck and did not tell me about it. Then they left a tube of epoxy under the hood and it fell into the locking mechanism and jammed the hood where I could not open it. Plus they hit something with the front my truck and again did not tell me about it. When I confronted the manger he assured me none of that had happened there. But asked the guy who worked on it who did admit to leaving the epoxy tube under the hood, he was using the epoxy because he had broken the attachment fittings for my grill which he did not mention until confronted about it. I was pretty much told what I got is what I got. I will never let these guys paint anything of mine again.
