Neighbor needed repairs and another shop turned down repairs because the car was a 2005 and they claimed no parts were available. Rene inspected the car, provided estimate and located parts. Had a awesome first time experience at this place. Staff was very nice and especially helpful for when it came to fixing my vehicle. There are some before and after photos included with this review. The estimated time of when my car would be ready to be picked up was right with no delays. As you can see from the photos everything on my door was fixed. Their knowledge of Volvo cars was demonstrated in the simpler approach proposed to repair the damage, as compared with what was proposed by other shops we got estimates from. Consequently, the estimated cost of repair was lower. Also, the total cost of the repair was the same as the estimated cost.Quality of Work: The quality of the body repair and paint was excellent! We could not see any trace of the damage.Customer Response: After we left the shop, we noticed that when closing the window near the repaired area made a noise as if it were hitting something. We notified the shop of this problem. They corrected the problem the same day we called and took less than 30 minutes.I recommend Artisan to others!

This is a review that I should have written long ago, as it is well-deserved. We brought our 2018 Volvo XC60 to Artisan after it was in an accident, just a few months after we bought it new from the dealer. Rene and his team did a fantastic job of making it look and feel like new again, despite the difficulty in getting parts for the new model at the time. Its driven great in the two+ years since we got it back. We highly recommend Artisan to anyone needing repairs after an accident. They do amazing work.

Artisan did an amazing job repairing my car back to new! My first day in San Antonio started off rocky when a spare tire hit my car! But Leanda and Stephanie were so helpful in getting my car in timely, helping me through the rental car process, and then ensuring I was in the loop the whole time regarding the status of my car. Rene, Leanda, Marco and the entire staff are truly amazing.They did a fantastic job on our 87 Original Wrangler retromod. It looked better than new. My wife found reproduction decals and they found a guy that did the original installation of the decals in 1987 to due the installation. We couldn’t be happier!My son was also recently rear ended and #USAA wanted us to take it to another body shop. We insisted it was done by the best and took it to Artisan Paint and Body. Once again, they knocked it out of the park and it looked better than it did from the showroom floor.

Hands down the best service Rene went above and beyond for my sons car. I will forever bring my vehicles here if wrecked. What can I say that has not been said by other raving fans? Here is what you need to know, this a hybrid shop in my opinion, not quite collision production shop and not quite a restoration shop. Its what auto body shops used to be, crafts people showing their skills and treating every vehicle like it was theirs. You deal with the owners directly which shows that they care about what you the customer have entrusted with them. They like a challenge and they seem to follow the motto of leave something in better shape that you found it and that is over and above the work you brought your vehicle in for. Their pricing is beyond fair and everyone I interacted with from Rene to Leanda to the rest of the crew was polite and really seemed to love what they do and where they do it. I was rear-ended in my 2019 Volvo XC60, & when I called the always-amazing Volvo service department to see if they did body work, the said they didn’t, however they recommended Artisan Paint & Body. I called & they got me in the same day for the inspection, were able to quickly get me set up for my repairs, & the estimate was a 3 day repair. I dropped my girl off there Tuesday, & was able to pick her up Thursday. They did a showroom quality repair, washed the exterior, & cleaned the interior. I knew it would be washed for the pickup, I never expected the interior to be cleaner & smell even better! Above & beyond! Leanda, Stephanie, & the rest of the Artisan team were incredibly helpful, & made it easy for me to get my car back in perfect repair. Thank you so very much, Artisan!

Someone tried to steal my son’s tailgate from his truck using a metal bar. They left the tailgate corner dented out, and the paint chipped off. We took it to Artisan for an estimate, and they gave a great competitive price. We had the tailgate back in a week. The tailgate was repaired, and the paint job was excellent. The Artisan shop team was professional and kind. I would definitely use them again.

Amazing. Everyone is extremely professional, honest, punctual and committed in providing you with exactly what you need. I was involved in a serious accident and they were able to fix and address all the damages to where it came out perfect as if nothing ever happened; which was truly impressive. Stephanie is an absolute gem of a person who was always readily available to help, answer any question or concerns and kept me notified with everything including my insurance company and all things occurring with my car. I have had three vehicles repaired and painted by Artisan Paint and Body and have had nothing but the best of experiences with them. Their work is exceptional as is their service. On the first vehicle they were matching paint on a 2002 Toyota, 19 years old, and they matched it perfectly. On the second vehicle I was a little concerned because they had to replace a rear door, repair a hole in a lower panel and match what I thought would be a very difficult paint job. The paint was a red with a lot of metal flake in it. When I got the car back you could not tell where the new paint was blended as it matched perfectly. The third vehicle was a replacement of the front bumper and matching the black paint. Again the job was excellent. While I hope this will be the extent of my auto problems for a while, I would never consider another body shop for any work I need to have done and I would highly recommend them. In addition the quality work they do, their service is just as impressive. A pleasure to work with.

Back in late February, I chose Artisan Paint and Body to repair damage to my vehicle from a minor fender bender. The repair was top notch and there were daily progress updates communicated via phone. The work was completed in a timely manner. They went above and beyond; even threw in some extras (touch ups unrelated to the damage being repaired) and my vehicle was clean as a whistle when I picked it up. Came in to have a couple of trim piece paint matched to the car color. They did an excellent job and the pricing was also very good. Needless to say, will be coming back if I ever need more part paint matched.

I highly recommend Artisan Paint and Body! The owner Rene, used to work as the operations manager of a larger paint and body shop. For decades my entire family took our vehicles there. When he left I saw a negative difference in the quality of work. I found out he had started his own paint and body shop and have since taken a vehicle there. I called a few different places about getting the bumper replaced on my 1990 Mustang with a new bumper I had at home. Every place I called gave the same generic answer that they dont work with customer parts, or a basic estimate. Rene, the owner, took an immediate interest in the project and started asking more questions, trying his best to work for my convenience. Getting the job done in just one weekend, the bumper came out looking brand new, and I will definitely take my car back for any other issues.

Long story short, go somewhere else if you want to be given an unfair price, terrible customer service, and terrible workmanship.I purchased my car used and after this repair, it looks better than when I originally purchased. I had a fender bender and was quoted by a collision center almost $1700 for minor repairs that would only be noticed if pointed out. The entire team at Artisan Paint and Body cared about my car from the second I brought it in for a quote and were able to beat the quote by in excess of $500.I explained to them that I would be bringing my car in to be worked on while I was out of town and there were some hiccups on my end with going to work last minute, etc. Stephanie offered to drive me so that I wouldn’t be without a car since I was not going to be getting a rental...which other company does that?!From the second that I interacted with them, I could tell that I was not another number, I was their family and they were going to ensure to take care of me throughout the entire process.I have already recommended them to multiple people. Don’t waste your time fooling around with another company.

Artisan paint and body is second to none! My wifes Lexus GX 460 was rear ended about a month ego and sustained significant damage. I researched various collision centers, however, The first impression and service I received at Artisan was truly fantastic, Luanda and Stephany were true professionals and extremely courteous. They assisted me every step of the way in dealing with the insurance company and the rental company, additionally they kept me informed during the whole repair process. Is extremely rear that you find business that truly care about the customer but you will find this rear attribute with the team at Artisan. I cant say enough good things about Artisan Paint and Body!! I took in my Pathfinder after a minor fender bender, someone backed into rear passanger door. Rene handled everything from start to finish with such courtesy and professionalism. He even helped with securing a rental car. The workmanship was outstanding! Rene and Leanda are awesome!!!!! I found Artisan Paint and Body through Google Reviews and if I could give them more than 5 stars I would. They tell you upfront what work is going to be required and when they can save you some money they will. I could have taken my vehicle to a franchised body shop but once I spoke with Leanda and saw a vehicle they had just finished, I knew that I wanted them to do the work. My daughters car looks brand new again. Rene did a phenomenal job on her car and you can tell he takes great pride in his work. They want your business and they want their customers to be happy. I will definitely use them again in the future if I ever need body work done and I will refer anyone I know to check them out as well. Thanks Rene and Leanda for the awesome customer service!!!!!!!!

Rene not only made sure my car was repaired immaculately to like-new condition, Leanda updated me daily and dealt with my insurance company when they questioned the repairs. I am very picky about my car, and was so impressed and delighted with the results. APB is the only body shop Ill take my vehicles to.

About a month ago, I got into an accident. I haven’t been in an accident in years so I wasn’t really sure what the process is. I called Artisan to ask about the process and Leanda explained everything clearly. When I got off the phone, I had already made an appt to bring in my car for repairs.After bringing in my car, they worked with my insurance directly to get the necessary approvals to repair my car. They fought for me with the insurance when the insurance wanted them to go a cheaper route to complete the repairs. The repairs took about a week (based on the damage to my car), but they kept in touch periodically. I didn’t have to hunt them down to find out what was going on. Leanda gave me a day that it would be ready, but unfortunately when they did their final walk of the repairs, she noticed a problem. She immediately called me to tell me that there was a problem and the car would not be ready as she originally stated. While I was a little disappointed, I appreciated the fact that they want all their work to be quality and hold themselves to a high standard. In reality, the issue only extended the pickup by a day. When I picked up my car I was so excited to see that it looked like new! My husband has taken a couple of his cars to another facility and never had this level of service. After my positive experience with Artisan we will definitely be taking our cars to them in the future if ever needed!
