Well if I could rate it zero Stars I would. Had first hand experience with the owner and a classic vehicle that was being repaired there I have not seen worse service ever before my life. General manager is a extortion expert. General manager also pencil whipped a bill for $11,000 on work that was obviously not done on the vehicle as I saw the vehicle that day it was worse than it was when we brought it in. Dont be fooled by the fancy front lobby chances are it was bought with extorted money from insurance companies and uninformed customers that were taking advantage of I read in the reviews it seems to be a growing trend there I dont normally write reviews but this definitely had to be said.

They had my classic 89 Corvette 8 months never finished repairing my vehicle Chris general manager is it real piece of cake, extorted me out of over 11,000 dollars and lied to me about the work being done on my car when I picked it up it was in pieces the paint job had chips and cracks in was not finished, I rate them at-10

Buyer Beware! I was in a pinch and the tow truck driver told me this shop was close. I called and spoke to Elizabeth. The ladies in the office were great. However, definitely down hill from there. After 6 days and $400 later. I still had no estimate. I spoke to the owner who seemed like a decent guy but I ultimately decided to go with another shop due to Alberts rude (and far too busy to help you) attitude. I wish I would have read the reviews first.

Could have given 5 stars if they explained the delay ahead before I eventually complained. They called me that my car is ready for pick up and I went to the shop around 9 am, and my car was not ready. I met the coordinator and he said my car will be out shortly. I have waited more than an hour. The receptionist lady is very polite and kind. She deserves 5 stars. They promised to update with me the progress but have not contacted me on the timely manner. I know its end of the year and holiday season but, as soon as possible is not the sufficient answer to the question, when do you expect to get the job done for a hesitant customer. The overall work is fine but needs to pay attention to the detail. They forgot put the little cap back on the tire.

I wouldnt recommend this place I had a slight fender bender minor dent! The insurance company wanted to tell me that my car was a total loss because Atlas body shop was making major changes to my car and billing them excessively so the insurance company was not going to pay more! And decide it was a loss they werent going to pay more then the total value of car dont see how this minor dent made it a loss ..They fixed the opposite light and try to tell me that the accident was on the left r side of the car when it was obviously on the right side and left that light broken fixing stuff that didnt need to be fixed just to get payed more and left me with a broken light where the impact was .this place lmost left me and my daughter with out a vehicle!would not recommend thell over charge insurance company

These guys are the ultimate professionals and do excellent work. You really get the sense they take great pride in what they do. Thank you Atlas and would not take my vehicle anywhere else for collision repairs.

We recently had some hail damage on my husbands vehicle during the recent hailstorms. Atlas made the process of restoring the vehicles condition so easy. We called in advance for what was needed, they had our rental ready the day we scheduled to drop off the vehicle, the vehicle was returned in the timeframe we were given and the quality was amazing. My husband is in the Army and knowing that this a veteran owned shop I would encourage any service member to trust their vehicles to them. As far as their customer service it has been the best I’ve experienced in a very long time. I wish I remembered the receptionist name, but she was very kind, organized and thorough. Enrique the technician who worked on his vehicle personally walked through with me to ensure quality and we ran into the owner Chris on our way out and he made it a point to ask how our experience was. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

I shopped around with several body shops and after summarizing all my estimates I went with Atlas. Their price was the best. Upon entering the property I was nicely greeted and given direction with a personal touch. The receptionist (Doris, I believe) was very nice and informative.... my associate Mr. G. Luna was friendly and explained the process from start to finish. I dropped my vehicle off and was promised a date of completion as well as the communication was great during the repair. When I went to pick my vehicle up it looked better than it did before the accident!!!! They took real good care of me, my car and it was like it never happened The accident!

Atlas Body Shop and Mr. Farias, in particular, earned my trust. After hitting my vehicle, a coworker wanted to pay out of pocket to fix the damage. I wanted wonderful quality work to fix my new car at a fair price for the other driver. I received an estimate from the dealership to repair the body, and I was not confident in the dealerships ability to handle any unknowns. I decided to take the car to Atlas Body Shop. Mr. Farias conducted himself with courtesy and professionalism and made me confident that this shop could handle any all eventualities. Also, Atlas gave an excellent referral for a rental car. All in all, I am very satisfied with Atlass handling of every contingency and recommend this shop with confidence!

From submitting the pictures of the damage to picking up the vehicle everything was seamless. This is the second time I’ve used atlas and I am confident that I will no longer use any other body shop. This is the place. Highly recommend working with Chris and Enrique and the ladies at front desk were super nice as well. 5 stars.

I took my vehicle in for an issue with my door not shutting properly and I was well taken care of.Albert was the representative I primarily worked with, he was honest and helped me get my vehicle back on the road. I was told the name of my service technician who was going to talk to me before leaving the shop. I think he may have walked by me and spoke by we never got a chance to get acquainted and go look at damages to my truck. Next thing I know my rental car was there and I had to report back to work. My car was damaged pretty badly in a hailstorm, but Atlas was able to turn it around in about a week and a half. They installed a new hood and did a BUNCH of paintless dent removal and I cant tell that anything happened to it in the first place. I was shocked at how good my car looks. They even cleaned up the interior, which was a nice surprise.

Highly recommend! They worked on my car for 2 claims through Allstate and my car might look better than it did when I first bought it! Staff were kind, respectful, and professional. The gentleman who handled my car, Albert Frias, was diligent when it came to updating me on my car and friendly as can be! 10/10!

The professionals at Atlas are a rare commodity. It isnt often you find a group of people that work together well and do a fantastic job at a reasonable price. Atlas is the only place that I would recommend to take your car to.

DO NOT use this body shop! After getting approval from insurance Atlas took 3 weeks to complete my trunk. Enrique gave this long story of how they have been in business for over 70 years. Initially I was told my car would be ready on the 15th. On the 15th I received a text message not a phone call that my car would not be ready until the 28th. I was in San Antonio for work and replied that I would be stranded. Enrique did not respond. Suddenly Enrique was no longer at work. I was told he had to go out of town due to his mother in law catching Covid. A little communication would have been nice from his end. A few days later I was told my car only needed to be painted. It took over 3 days to get painted. On the 25th the GM Chris Leal called to let me know my car was ready. Shortly he called backed to ask if there was a pre existing condition of my car having a “keyless access system problem”. Turns out they didn’t plug in a part inside the trunk. The morning of the 26th I was told my car was ready to be delivered to me just to be called back again stating they were waiting on a payment of almost $1000 from the insurance company and after they received confirmation of payment in process they would deliver my car. I was hit it was not my company. They eventually delivered my car. When I received copies the payment was only for 571 dollars and some change. I am grateful for the color being correct but I now have to slam my trunk in order for it to shut. Overall I am not a satisfied customer.

My experience was absolutely pleasant and easy. Friendly and professional team throughout the office. Atlas Body is a business that I would describe as impeccable because of the overall customer service experience and the quality of the completed work on my vehicle.

I chose Atlas because of the ratings and how it was in my area. But I made the mistake of not being directly involved in the communications between Atlas and the insurance company. Lesson learned. The customer service was good.

After I got into an accident that totaled my car, the body shop staff were more than accommodating to my needs to help with communicate with my insurance company. They went out of their way to comfort me since it was my first (and only) accident. They didnt coerce any extra costs or charges out of me as Ive heard other body shops do that, and they explained the process of inspection and the like with ease, answering all my questions. Our daughter was in a car accident that resulted in significant damage to her brand new Mazda CX-5. After meeting JR, we decided to allow Atlas (where the auto had been towed) to tackle the repairs on the vehicle. Since my schedule is more flexible than my daughters, I offered to be the contact person during the repairs process. Due to the extensive damage, the repair took a number of weeks. But Atlas was great at keeping us posted every step of the way and always responsive when we reached out to them. They assured us that their goal was to bring the auto back to 100%. They worked seamlessly with our insurance carrier to promptly get required approvals as the work progressed. I have not seen the vehicle, but our daughter says it looks brand new and drives as before. Since so many of the cars safety features and other complex components were affected in the accident, JR emphasized that our daughter should immediately contact him if she thinks anything is not functioning as it should. He stated repeatedly that Atlas stands by their work and will address any issue that could arise post such significant damage. After a few months, I will amend this review in the event any other visits to Atlas are required. But for now, I can tell you that, with Atlas, your vehicle repairs are in the best hands!

I would like you to look back at your statement, “Unfortunately this didn’t resolve the problem” (when dealing with my sensors) – because YOU couldn’t do the job CORRECTLY in the first place. I wouldn’t have had to get the job done MYSELF if you had fixed my car completely. You want to make it seem like I’m a naive 20-year-old female that doesn’t like taking the advice of others… making comments like “and AGAIN she opted out and try to take care of it on her own”, and “We offered… SHE declined and stated she would take it in HERSELF”. The only reason I didn’t let you guys touch my car after EVERYTHING was because you broke my TRUST, sucked me dry of my MONEY, and had the nerve to put the blame on ME, saying that the sounds coming from my car was because I hit a “bump” in the road… when the sounds were there as SOON as I drove off from the shop. You also had the nerve to lie and say that you did a “road test” before you gave me back my car which NEVER happened because you would have heard the groaning, humming, and rattling from my car if you actually took the time to CHECK your work. I brought my car back to the shop SEVERAL times because you didn’t do your job. You took advantage of me, and I hope NO ONE goes through what I went through. If anyone reads this, PLEASE just go to a dealership. Do not trust this small family-owned business, they just want your money and nothing else.

JR at Atlas was assigned an appraisal for one of my clients damaged units. The assignment was done by mistake, but JR took his time to contact the insurance company and get the claim re-assigned to the correct body shop. He then followed up with me to make sure my clients unit was being taken care of by the insurance company. His understanding and practice of customer service should be taught to all public service company personnel. Thank you JR for your care and attention!

Ive better service 2yrs ago. No communication on what service will be on your vehicle or when it will be ready. Then we I needed to take my vehicle to have it repaired the next day the gentleman who helped doesnt return your call back or when they tell you to take the vehicle in 4hrs later I get a call that they are not able to look at it or repair it. Disappointed. I do not recommended.

Fast and friendly establishments!

Used this place twice first was a pleasure second time around a disaster i am disabled did complain right away but they put me off i ended not consistently following up my car sat still for months after i finally got someone to get it started they claimed they could not help me even though they tell they guarantee their work for lifetime if your still the owner very disappointing beware.After my post Mr. Leal contacted me I explained my situation and he promised to work with me to resolve the issues which he did I am very happy with the outcome and the great customer service I was given. Very happy with this place. Fixed my bumper under an insurance claim. There was a bit of a communication error on what needed to be fixed but when I pointed it out they immediately apologized and fixed the issue immediately. Very happy with the timeliness, good work, honesty and integrity shown by this company. It was a great first experience and due to the good work and integrity shown, I will be back for any future needs.

My vehicle suffered a hit and run and had extensive damage. I was incredibly happy with the work that Atlas did on my car. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is seeking a great body shop that really cares about their work and their customers.

2/2 - This entire time he had told me that he would DIRECTLY give me my money back because he was ORIGINALLY paid to fix the sensors on my car. (That was the light from the transmission I was talking about earlier that should’ve gone away within 25 miles that NEVER did). So, I’m asking him why my insurance company is going to pay me back for something they ALREADY paid for and he tells me that they never got paid for it. I bring up that I had to pay over $1,105.00 out of my pocket because he told me the problem was the right hub bearing and he had the nerve to tell me that he NEVER told me it was the right hub bearing that was the problem. First off, I’m a 20 year old (female) college student. I have no idea how cars work in the first place. How in the world am I supposed to know what a right hub bearing is if I wasn’t informed it was the problem from the beginning? We got into a little argument and I told him I wasn’t going to argue with him any longer, shook his hand, and told him to have a good day. I still haven’t received anything from my insurance company in forms of reimbursement. It’s going to be 3 weeks starting tomorrow. If anyone read my review, PLEASE don’t trust these people! They will steal your money and won’t fix your vehicle! They took advantage of me. I’m a female, I’m only 20 years old, and I made the mistake of trusting them! Don’t make my mistake! Please take my advice and go to the dealership instead.

A great group of people who do quality work. While we were driving through San Antonio on a trip out to west Texas, a guy ran a light and crashed into my not even a year old Mazda3, leaving it un-drivable and stuck four hours away from my home. Since I am not from San Antonio, I had no idea where to get it fixed but both the policeman and the tow truck driver recommended Atlas as the best place in town. I was completely satisfied with the staff at Atlas and their work.On the day of the accident, Atlas actually kept their office open for an extra hour and a half so we could go to the rental car company before they closed and could continue on our vacation. Then they helped to coordinate with the insurance company and sent daily updates through text messages so we didnt have to worry on our trip. Additionally, they worked hard to finish the car before a weekend so it was easier for me to go back to San Antonio to pick it up. They even test drove it on the highways for me beforehand to make sure there wouldnt be any hidden problems on my trip home.The repair work was also excellent. The crash destroyed one of the headlights and several panels and damaged some equipment under the hood but now I cant even tell that it was damaged. The alignment and electronics seem to work perfectly.Would highly recommended to anyone in the San Antonio area!

My tow truck driver recommended Atlas Body. Once I arrived the staff made me comfortable. It did take a lot longer to get my car repaired than they originally quoted but The job was done right and I got my car back in great condition.

Was told car was ready for 2 days never called, went to pick up car and was dirty, has scratches in it and clear was messed up. Told them that I will need a rental car because of having a family and havent heard from them at all, even left a message and no call back in over a month and a half.

Unbelievably slow front office. They honestly seem clueless and do not communicate with the estimators who supposedly are handling your repair. No one keeps you updated either, had to call to get information about my repair. Waited a full hour to even drop it off, left and shouldn’t have come back but their apology made me think they got their act together. After dropping it off the following day and getting it repaired, I showed up when they said it would be ready and again had to wait almost an hour just to pick it up. I honestly wouldn’t come back.

Just got my vehicle back and it looks great. I definitely recommend this place.

Great shop. They will put in the work even when your insurance company wont. Veronica is the best example of Customer service I have ever seen.

They are very good at what they do and are very friendly. If there is an issue they will do everything in their power to help. Highley recommend just on their customer service alone. They finished working on my car super quick and albert was so great helping me and getting me through the process. Thank you for everything albert and atlas. My car looks just the way i drove it off the dealership lot.

I had to give one star cause they dont have a negative star option.They had my truck for 4-1/2 months I finally said give me the parts I will finish it myself. the dash looks like Christmas with all the service lights on the truck is only 4 years old and I think it drove better with the bumper stuck in the tire. Jr has more excuses why its not finished than Washington has A holes. If you take it in to Atlas be prepared to take it some where else after you leave to get the screw ups fixed . State Farm dropped Atlas from there preferred body shop a few years ago for a reason.

Got into a minor accident (front end damage). Atlas happens to be a direct repair facility for Nationwide so I took the car there for repairs. Gilbert called me on a Monday and said he had received the work order from Nationwide and had a tech standing by. Dropped off my vehicle that day and had it back by Friday. Quality of the repairs was excellent as was the customer service. I highly recommend Atlas Body Shop.

GOOD AS NEW! I am extremely pleased with the service that I received from Atlas Body Shop. I understood that with the extent of damage caused by all of the hail that my car wouldnt be ready overnight. I was able to keep in communication throughout the process and I couldnt be happier when I picked up my car. I would definitely recommend them to everyone and anyone.
