I have one of those odd right hand drive Japanese campers. My van and I got kicked around town like a couple mongrel dogs. Nobody wanted to deal with it because it was only sold in Japan and parts are not readily available. Damon took it on like it was just another car, which it is actually. This is the difference between a repair man and a true technician. I was incredibly grateful to finally get the A/C up and running. Thanks Dude, you duh man !!!!!

Needed a main seal replaced on my Jaguar and nobody else in town would touch it. Auto tech did a great job at a reasonable price. Took a little while, but mainly due to parts availability. Very happy overall.

I was on my way To California when my axle blew Out on the freeway. I wasn’t familiar with the area & googled the nearest shop that would take my Mercedes. I called & let them know I was stranded out there & really needed there help. They got the parts overnight & had my car done by the next morning & really helped me & my family out. Couldn’t recommend this shop enough. Quick, professional & at a good price. (: if you’re looking where to go take yo car in, look no further!

Gave my friend an enormous bill to fix his car after looking at it for 30 minutes and charging $62 for that rather useless service.

Ill start this off by saying I am not thrilled and wish I had driven to Portland or Bend and spent more for the work I wanted done.I had called previous to making an appointment asking if they were OK with me bringing specific non OEM parts to have a clutch and flywheel done due to a failing dual mass flywheel. They were OK with it as long as I supplied the non OE parts and didnt hold them accountable for those parts, just the labor on those parts. Works for me! I also asked to have the transmission flushed with their recommended gear oil and stated I will drop off the car before they open. The car was dropped off a couple hours before they open and the keys were placed in the paper work order with the services we had discussed written on the outside. I was quoted either 2 or 3 days. The supplied flywheel and clutch kit was installed and worked like a charm even though I had forgotten flywheel bolts. Thankfully my OE bolts were too short as they wanted to re-use them. Flywheel bolts are generally not recommended to be re-used. Pushed back a day. My fault. The clutch slave was broken when it was being installed. Was called and notified of this and quoted the price of the new one which was on par for what I could get a replacement for. Wrong part was ordered. Pushed back another day to order the correct part. I was informed of this but found out when paying the bill that the correct part cost roughly twice the original quote. After a week I was finally able to come get my car and due to their friday hours I had to leave work at a half day or have my car sit outside their shop for the weekend.First thing I noticed when I drove the car was the clutch felt horrible. I was assured the clutch was perfect but it felt like it was full of air. Push the pedal to the floor them press a little harder to disengage. Lift your toes and it would suddenly engage. A brand new clutch, especially one with a self adjuster, will never feel like this when properly bled.I had also had to reset the date and clock in the car as standard procedure is to disconnect the battery. The keyless entry no longer worked and I had to re-pair the key fobs in their parking lot before leaving. The one touch power windows did not work and had to be re-set. The mechanics did not have the attention to detail to reset the clock or even see if the key fob was still paired to the car after disconnecting the battery.Remember that transmission flush? Yeah, that never happened and did not show on the bill. I had to call and ask about it the following Monday and see if it had been done. As they had forgotten they did cover labor and I provided the fluid of my choice. This took about an hour while I waited.Back to the clutch bleed. Like a chump I agreed to drive it over the weekend and let the clutch settle. When I went out to the garage the next morning I couldnt get the car into gear. Due to that and needing transportation I had to inconvenience a friend, source brake fluid and bleed the clutch myself. My car has a common reservoir for the clutch and the brake system. This reservoir was almost empty. I consider this a MAJOR safety hazard as the brake system could have been compromised. Again, no attention to detail. After filling the reservoir the first pump of the clutch and the pedal stuck to the floor there was so much air in the system! It only took about 5 minutes to do it properly. Again, attention to detail. While fixing the clutch I found a broken bracket and improperly installed coolant reservoir caused by their work. They were completely unconcerned about the possible melted wires laying on the catalytic converter. Instead of we could fix it if it causes a problem Id like to see more preventing a possible issue by at least ziptieing the wires up and not letting them hang.I was not notified by them about any of the things I found.I have now been trying to work with them for several months to get the broken bracket replaced. So far all I have gotten is Its discontinued by Audi and Ive been to busy to look for one anywhere else..

Ive been coming to Auto Tech since 2005. Owner Tom Van Tassel, runs a clean & fare business and always treats me with respect. I drive a 87 Mercedes 190E 2.3 so as time goes on I need things done due to the age of my car.Doing the math, so far its less expensive to rebuild (Buttercup) as needed than purchasing a newer vehicle, with payments...etc! Auto Tech is the only shop in Douglas County I trust 100%! Shout out to Jeremy for being respectful at all times, fantastic customer service.Last and most importantly, the guys who pull it all together!?KNOWLEDGEABLE MECHANICS..♡♡ ;^)

Great mechanic! I have a Mercedes and Ive been going here for a few years now. Compared to the Benz dealership, prices are much more fair and quality work is done, equal to what you would get from the dealer. Thank you Tom and Jeremy for all your dedicated and hard work!

This place is awful. They charged me 2,000 overall and kept my car for 1 whole month, I then had to get the SAME exact job redone and went to Les Shwab, they charged me 500 for the same job. They also tagged my subaru with spray paint on the back and front of my car. Poor customer service, disgusting.

I just took the car that I purchased into Autotech. The original owner gave me the receipt, since AutoTech over charged them and replaced the turbo. There is supposed to be a warranty on all the parts for 12 months or 12,000 miles and oil is leaking from the turbo and it was replaced on October 1, 2019 and it’s only been driven 3,000 miles since. The owner was very, very rude and said that it only applies to the original owner. WHAT? I’m reporting this to the BBB!!

NEVER take your car here. The owner Tom said he could order keys to our car from the dealer and program the fob and key no problem. He asked I pay in advance which I did-nearly $500. I had my car towed there and 4 days later he told me to pick it up cause he has given up trying to program it, and he would not refund my money. I left the store with him screaming at me...zowie! How do I leave negative stars?

Here is an example of most of my reviews. As for the other two listed, Zacks phone number was either wrong or disconnected, and my prices are not through the roof at all, and I fired Mike years ago.Tom has worked on my BMWs for the past 15 years, and I have never had a problem with the price or quality. Go ahead, take your BMW to the dealer and see what you get. Price is double and they are into the replace parts type of diagnosing. Tom will track the problem down, solve the problem, and get you back on the road. If parts are required, they are not the dealer price! No problem here.

I used to love this place. I took my car there for a couple years, spent well over 1k and thought they were great. Then it all went south. Things they told me they would get done they didnt do. They broke a part on my car when they went to replace something else. Their diagnostic fees are through the roof. They dont give accurate estimates. And most importantly their customer service is absolutely horrible. The owner Tom lied to me. Said he would call me with a quote for a few things I needed done on the car. He never called me. When asked why he didnt call, he said he said he thought I wouldnt have it fixed because of the high cost. He apologized and said he would give me a call about the quote. Once AGAIN he never called. Worst customer service Ive ever had.

I was driving past Roseburg on a road trip and my check engine light just came on, again. I had spent 2400$ on car repairs before this and I was feeling really defeated. And it was a Friday afternoon, 2 hours before they closed. I explained my situation and they were sympathetic to me and I chose to run a diagnostic.Turned out, an air intake hose had broken and they fixed it with some glue and a spare hose. I role out 5 minutes before they close on the weekend and my car is making an awful noise. I drive back and there is a super easy fix that they did.Im leaving Roseburg forever when my car turns off in the middle of the street. I get my car pushed off the road and I run back through the rain to try and get them to fix it!!!I get the last mechanic there right before hes going to leave and he agrees to help me! He does some quick fixes and runs another diagnostic. Turns out, the car didnt have any major problems and I was good to go.I hassled them for an extra hour, after they closed and fit me in ahead of their scheduled repairs, and they went so far above what was already excellent service.Auto Tech Import Specialists is an amazing group of mechanics that pulled me such a solid that I repaid as a first responder to an accident 10 miles south of Roseburg when my car was finally repaired. It works great!
