The guys were great. They were able to do all the repairs and a little more that was needed. The workmanship will have my truck on the road for many years.

I went in thinking I needed transmission repair work on my car. They did a thorough examination and test drive and found the transmission was good. They gave me repair options for the real issues and when I wanted to be sure it was the real problem they did some additional diagnostic work. After I had all of their information they allowed me to think about it and do some investigating on my own. No pressure and no problem while I thought it over. When I was ready, they quickly completed the repairs and the car was back in service.Job well done!!

AAMCO did wonders for me! I needed to replace my transmission in my 2014 Honda Accord Sport. With it being a 4cyl, 6-speed manual, the transmission for that specific type are hard to find. Josh did lots of research to find one that wasn’t a piece of junk or that was going to cost me $8,000+. I needed to have my clutch replaced as well. They did an amazing job, had it done in a timely manner & even when I needed to have my clutch looked at again, it was free of charge due to the warranty they provided. Always kept such good communication with me through the whole process. Definitely recommend going here for any car service needed!

These guys haven’t even started fixing my transmission yet and I’m going to give them 5 stars off the bat. I broke down 5 hours from home today and they treated me like nothing but family. Explained the problem to me (I am not mechanically inclined) and gave me multiple options for the fix that were all reasonable. They found me a hotel room at a decent price while I wait for a ride home tomorrow, and we’re extremely accommodating to all my other issues that arise when you break down 5 hours from home. I have no doubt in my mind that they give the same treatment to every person that walks through their doors. You’d be crazy not to trust these guys and give them your buisness.

I had an oil change done, general maintenance and check up. The service was very good and done in a timely manner. The gentleman at the desk was friendly and polite.

They are constantly having to fix things on my baby and they are always more than happy. Today was even a short notice pulley replacement, 2 hours later I had my car back as good as it always has been. Certainly getting my business, I would suggest them to my grandmother even from the good mannered nature of the people that work there

Very friendly and fast service! Inexpensive and didnt try to sell me on any other issues. Fixed the issue with my vehicle (severe oil leak) very quickly, including replacing a part.

I took my car to 2 well recommended mechanics, to have what I thought was a simple fluid exchange on the transmission. Both times resulted in transmission leaks after a few days of driving.Took it to Aamco and they found that my original thick rubber gasket was replaced with cheap non reusable gasket material and that the pan had been damaged by them removing it.They spent some time hammering it flat again and replaced the gasket with original parts and refilled my transmission with new fluid. All at a price 1/3rd less than the original cost of the first fluid replacement.

I drove to Roseburg from Utah. I had a horrible sound due to the struts that was a challenge for a few mechanics in Utah to locate. Josh the manager had my car promptly diagnosed and repaired. I’d 💯 do business with Aamco again. Thanks guys. GREAT JOB

Service was mediocre. A bit slower than quoted. They tried adding multiple issues to the visit. Not necessary. And the price was higher than quoted. Excellent service was broke down and gave me options to get me back on the road. They even put a rush on getting everything fixed. There is even payment plan options available in the office. Super friendly and efficient. I got my transmission and transfer case rebuilt and instantly drove to Alaska during winter without any problems. I would recommend them Everytime.

AAMCO in Roseburg did an excellent job on my 1956 Chevrolet Belair classic.. The transmission had been worked on twice by another transmission shop and the transmission leaked terribly.. The OTHER shop didnt seem interested in standing behind their work.. Josh at AAMCO was great to work with and their mechanic treated my car as if it was his own. They were able to address all the leaks. I recently was very impressed that Josh called on August 18th and followed up on their service asking if they had eliminated the leaks. What was impressive was that I picked the car up July 13th and Josh followed up on August 18th. Friendly folks to work with and they gave me an 18 month warranty. At this point I am satisfied with the transmission service I received.

On the way back from my trip on vacation my truck had issues with my DPF. This limited the power to a crawl so I couldnt get home.I called all over Roseburg to multiple different shops, including the dealer, to see if they could help troubleshoot the issue with my truck. I knew what the issue was However, no one wanted to take the time to help me. The last place I called was Ammco as I did not think they would be able to help me. My issue had nothing to do with my transmission.However when I called, Josh talked to their technician, who said to come on over and we will take a look and see what we can do.After a short time they told me they could help me out and took care of the repair I needed and got me back on the road, at the very end of the day. They could have closed their business. They even stayed late to assure they finished the job. I had no other way to get home, and a tow my truck would have been $650+.I am very thankful for these kind, friendly, and hardworking employees both at the front desk and the technician who helped save the day!

Ive seen the previous responses and must disagree. The car took longer than expected but understandable because its 24 years old and parts are rare if not obsolete. Its been two weeks since picking up the car and its running smooth and the transmission is responding properly. It was frustrating having to wait but in the end the work was done right and everything is backed with a generous warranty on the labor. Win-win!

Josh Robinson has fixed my car many times. He always gets me back on the road and going in no time. Great attitude and definitely loves what he does and it shows! Would recommend aamco for all your Vehicle needs.

They read my debit card numbers outloud!!! And they did not fix my truck and charged $591.00!!!I called and informed them my truck was making a ticking sound, and was told they do a free full diagnostic check and would then let me know what they needed to fix to resolve the issue....they called me 20 minutes after I dropped it off and said that my spark plugs were loose and noise was coming from that, I told them twice that didnt appear to me to be the issue but if thats all it really is then obviously that is what I want done. So 540 dollars to to just do the spark plugs and wires, they did do an oil change for an additional $50, which is the ONLY thing that was reasonable about the entire transaction (if they didnt botch that to) I returned the next day to pick up my truck and handed the guy at the front desk my card, he proceeded to pick up the phone and start reading my card numbers to someone on the other line, I told him 3 times to stop and that I was uncomfortable with him doing that, he continued until he was done. Already aghast that they would do that which is insanely unprofessional I got my keys from him and went out and started my truck. It sounds exactly the same absolutely no difference. I immediately went right back in and told him the sound is still there, they at first tried to say they couldnt hear it, after I insisted it was still there they took it back into the shop and then tried again to say they couldnt hear it, only after my wife said she could hear it as well did they say they could now hear it and that it was a different noise than the one they fixed. They said they would keep it and call me and let me know what was needed to be done, are you serious??? I just gave them $590 to do essentially nothing. They said that since they did in fact replace the parts they said they would so that no refund was possible, it wasnt the problem!!! And Im most certainly not going to leave my truck there so I can be charged another insane amount of money to have my card information to the entire front reception center for parts I dont need! They insisted that the truck would preform much better now with what they did, it does not, there is absolutely no difference between before and after. I could have gambled that money away and felt better about it. At least the casino doesnt announce your card information to an entire front reception area. I am appalled what happened. My only hope is that by leaving this review I can spare someone else from this mess, I now have to call my bank and ask for a different card, I have no idea who may have heard my card information. And I am calling the 1800 better business number in an attempt to get my money back.we are a small community of people who work hard for our money and we deserve better. I tried this new business and regret it beyond words.

Aamco is the place to go. They got me in and out and very professional. The quality is too of the line and all the employees were polite and informative. I recommend aamco to everyone I know that is having car trouble. I spent much much less than I was quoted from other shops and it was finished before the time I was told. Im very impressed with this company.

I went to the Roseburg shop yesterday to have them replace a fuse for my power outlet in my car. For some reason I thought it would be difficult task. The guy working the desk was very friendly and helpful, however the mechanic was not so friendly or helpful. No greeting, no smile just put his hand out and said keys.After he checked the fuses both under the dash and under the hood he grumbled I dont know what to tell but your fuses are all good. I suggest you make and appointment so we can figure out why your power outlets arent working then walked away.After I left I watched a Youtube video on how to change the fuses for my car. Needless to say the fuse was bad. Thankfully, due to the YouTube video I was able to use the additional fuse that was under my hood and plug it right in and guess what? Fixed!!Not really sure what this guys deal was. Maybe he just didnt want to help me, maybe he didnt know what he was doing or maybe he thought I was an easy target. All I know is I dont think I would want this guy working on anything else on my car if he cant figure out when a fuse is bad.

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE FOR YOUR TRANSMISSION REPAIR. They took weeks to rebuild and replace my transmission and when the final bill came due it was almost 1k more than the quote. While I do know sometimes there are unexpected issues that can occur I was never told about the additional costs. When I approached the manager about this he said would you have called for permission or just completed the work? I said I would have called because I did not authorize additional charges. They knew I had approximately 3k available for the repair and the quote was $1900 so we were within that range. When the bill came due it was almost $2800. I think they tried to find other things wrong so they could charge me more. While they did eventually give me the original quote price the store employee was very rude and has an obvious disregard for customers. I was polite and calm when speaking with him and he was very rude. I have since heard from others that Aamco is the worst possible place to get work done. If you go here do so at your own risk.

The mechanic did not put the boot back on correctly under the gear shift when he finished with the job. The fumes were really bad. Took it back. They still didn’t fix. Popped it open and fixed myself. Went back and told them. Unpleasant experience to say the least. Attention to detail is expected when shelling out a lot of cash. Improve your customer service and listen to the customer. No customer, no business.

My transmission was slipping in December 2019, when I took it in to Roseburg Aamco. The guys did a quote for repairs and how long it would take.I was very impressed with their customer care and they had my truck back on the road, as promised.I highly recommend Roseburg Aamco.

I took my daughters car in because she started having some problems getting it in to reverse. They looked it over and did a free diagnosis and found the problems with the car. A couple that we knew about and some we didnt. I spoke with the guy that works the front counter and also with the mechanic Don. They were both very friendly and helpful. AAMCO Roseburg did a great, very thorough repair on my vehicle. They not only fixed the transmission problems, but the engine now runs considerably better as well. The repairs came in at hundreds of dollars less than expected. I will definitely take my vehicles to AAMCO Roseburg in the future.

I went in to the Roseburg Aamco transmission shop a couple of weeks ago on my way to Eugene and my check engine light came on, so I had them check it out. They checked it for free, they told me my battery was weak and my transmission fluid was a little dirty. They replaced my battery and serviced my transmission in about 2 hours and I made it home in time to see my parents before they left to go home back to New York. I cant thank the guys at Aamco enough, they saved the day.

I took my car to AAMCO to have my transmission repaired in September. They had the car for 3 weeks saying that they were having a hard time finding parts. When I got the car back, I had it for one day when it leaked all of the transmission fluid in my driveway. They do not cover tow so I had to rent a trailer to take it back to them. They gave it back to me the next day after fixing the hole in my transmission with JB weld although they told me it was fixed which JB weld is a temporary fix. Had the car for one more day and the shift linkage was loose so I brought it back again. They gave it back the same day saying that they found a loose bolt that they forgot? Had the car for two days, turned a corner, went to accelerate, the transmission started making a grinding noise and quit working. Had to call a tow company to pick it up and tow it back in. They now still have my car and are saying that there are other parts that they did not replace that broke this time. At the same they are saying that the clutch that I gave them to install at the beginning is broken now with wear,and that I need to buy another one, as they do not warranty this, before they can continue the repair. The clutch was purchased brand new and has only been in the car since the the transmission repair so literally has only a few miles on it. The clutch was broken while in their possession. I cannot put any more money into having them fix these issues that are their fault. Went to the shop to retrieve something from my car. The manager could not find the keys (where all of the other keys were) He called the owner who would not tell him where the keys were, just said he would come back down there. I called the police as I knew that he had the keys on him. Now the owner is refusing to repair the car stating that since we called the police he no longer wants to work with us. Now we have a car in his shop and a transmission in his shop in Medford and no solution.

Excellent customer service!! I haul for a living and nobody locally had the part I needed so they sent a driver to get the part in another town an hour away. Truck is fixed and Im back on the road.

My daughter got ripped off. I called and got a quote for her and then when she took her vehicle in and had the service done, they charged her an additional $80. They said it was due to the special oil her vehicle required. They had to reschedule her appointment to get the oil from the dealer but they never mentioned an extra cost. Nor did they say anything to her when she dropped her vehicle off.

These guys started with my GEO Prism which lost both the entire clutch system and the transmission a short 40 miles of driving after I bought the car. What looked to be an obvious fix turned into something more lengthy with the final 2 cables to finish the job found to be obsolete! The team at AAMCO Transmissions in Roseburg found & ordered these twice with these arriving either broken or the wrong fit and Also More expensive than what was quoted. AAMCO not only made these fit, but ate the additional co$t for the part AND their labor time. Furthermore, after giving me a 10% discount for both parts and labor, brought my original quote to $35 below that. My car runs beautifully and I could not be more happy. Here is to KEEPING it Local. I found my Guys, who told me to bring her in just to check fluids etc., Thankyou !

They quoted me a ridiculously high price, then said that they would only give me a 1 year warrantee if I pulled the transmission myself, vs. a 3 year warrantee if they did it, which was a $500 difference.

I do not recommend anyone bring their car into the Roseburg Aamco. I have a Mercury Mountaineer that we brought in last year at the end of August, maybe early September to have all the timing chains replaced. We were told that the repair would be completed at the end of the week, or beginning of the next week. It is now almost a year later, the warranty on the repair is almost up, and not one time out of the LITERALLY 12+ times they have told me its all done, has it actually been repaired satisfactorily.To make an extremely long story shorter, they charged me full price to replace all of the timing chains which was over $3000, and then proceeded to only do half of the timing chains and not use the correct tools twice before actually replacing the third like they should have in the first place. This caused damage to the engine to where they had to replace it. They told us they were getting a low mileage engine that had been compression tested to put in it, but after months of asking for the paperwork on the engine they gave us an invoice that had the price they paid of zero, no mention of mileage, and no proof of any type of testing. Within less than 500 miles of them putting this engine in, it reeked of antifreeze anytime it was driven, and then started leaking coolant. After taking it to the Ford dealership they found that the oil was dark and slightly burnt smelling, and that the waterpump needed changed, along with the cooling system flushed due to a weird oily substance in the reservoir.After taking it back to aamco to have them fix the problems the car STILL reeks of antifreeze anytime it is driven, the oil gets more burnt smelling, and the antifreeze reservoir is back to looking like it did. Although Kyle, the owner, has assured me that even when the warranty is up if something went wrong he would still honor it and put that in writing, he has yet to do so. He says thats not how he does business, but after nearly a year of dealing with his business I have been charged full price for a repair that was only half done numerous times, have been given a car back that is not repaired numerous times, and have been promised things that I havent received...…… again numerous times. As I have told Kyle, at this point I do not trust his word, and quite frankly I do not trust his mechanics either after everything we have gone through.

Its the only place I go to get my vehicle fixed or check up on it, great workers and good time on repairs/orders!

I came in last week because my dash was not working, I thought I was going to have to replace the whole thing but it turned out to be just a fuse which they fixed for free. Thanks Aamco people.

Dont trust this place. Took my truck in for transmission fluid and filter change, the told me transmission was shot and I shouldnt be driving it, and they wanted 4,500.00 to rebuild it, it didnt add up because the transmission was showing no signs of a problem took the truck to another mechanic he charged me 2,000.00 to place a new transmission in the truck and come to find the only thing wrong with the orignal was the the shift servos were wearing out after they dismantled the transmission.

Do not use this place for anything other than transmission. Do not go here unless you are already sure you need transmission rebuild.
