This is service like service should be. We were washing our car at the car wash across the street. When we finished washing the car it wouldnt start. One of their service technicians walked across the street, got our car started for us. We then went across to the car care center and one of their employees checked the battery for amount of life left on the battery all at no charge and with a smile. This place is definitely worth your stop when you need car service. Thanks for your courtesy.

We were traveling from Texas and had our A/C go out on our way to Reno. This site was very efficient in detecting the issue and correcting it for us and all this at a very reasonable rate. They could have really stuck it to us as they knew we had to drive all the way back to Texas, but they did not do that. Someone actually called us a week after the service to check on us and our car. I love the good folks at Sierra car care in Reno. My husband and I have lived in this neighborhood for 30 years and we really like having a good car care place in the neighborhood. The staff is very efficient and we enjoy the location.

They tried to do more services than what I brought my vehicle in for. They also dont take customer provide parts.

Do NOT bring your vehicle here. Incompetent, to the point of dishonesty.Water pump and timing belt installed incorrectly. My car is right now in another shop where the mechanic tells me my timing belt is frayed to fuzz.On another visit they replaced the ignition coils. $600.00+ and they couldnt even re-install the valve cover correctly. Had to redo it myself.DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE!

The only place I could find open that could press out wheel hub bearing and press in new one on a Sunday. Christian was awesome.

I brought my 1992 Cadillac Eldorado in for a funny noise and a no start, they claimed they fixed the issue once I went to go pick it up I started the car and the same noise was still there, I asked them why they didn’t fix it and they told me they fixed my power steering pump instead!!!!! I turned the wheel and the power steering pump made this God awful noise, the manager tells me it’s because there is air in the system! WELL WHY TF DIDNT YOU BLEED THE AIR OUT!!! I took the car home for another mechanic to fix five minutes down the road the power steering pump came off, belt broke, coolant everywhere!!! Had to pay another tow truck to take it back to them still makes funny noise from power steering pump, and on top of that now the no start issue is back that they claimed they fixed!!! A COMPLETE SCAM DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!! All they will do is temporarily fix your car so you can continuously bring it back!!!!! I want a refund on all money I paid and my problems to be fixed!! I have a newborn in the car with me and it’s not safe I should be able to trust a mechanic it’s a shame these guys are scam artists

I got my car smogged after work when no one else was even open! Ian was friendly and on it. I would highly recommend this place!

This place is terrible, 3 times I have been for propane, go inside and they say they will be out in just a few minutes, one time I waited 30 mins and left, the other two times, 20 mins at least.. I will never return.. shame on them for making me wait with no intention of coming out. I understand if they are busy, but their behavior was unacceptable..
