I used to go all the time but recently the customer service has gone down I got married and moved to Colorado. I was so happy to be able to come here, I tried to use my gift card and she wants to say its expired from 2018 but theres no expiration date. Im used to businesses having no loyalty to customers so I just said typical and left

Liked the place until the girl gave me a hard time about returning some $5 sunglasses... Definitely won’t be back. The guy is nice though.

I came in looking for Bobbi Boss hair for my soft locs. Initially, the clerk said they did not carry the particular hair I was looking for, but the salesperson Andy went above and beyond to get the product for me! He checked on the top of the shelves and everything. Definitely reccomend lux, its a great supply store, they carry whatever you need!

They do not know anything about black hair. I went in to find a drawstring ponytail. She asked if I wanted something natural. I said yes, she said here are some kinky hair. I said look at my hair, it is in its natural state. My hair is almost straight with some waves. I do not have kinky hair, my hair is very soft, fine, and kinda of wavy. When she looked at my hair, she said just look over here. Nice lady, but they need a black person working there. Disappointed. Will never go back.

This place is hair mecca. Just too much stuff. Can,t see everything. Small isles and usually filled with workers and the occasional family of shoppers. I will be back to take more in tho!

Definitely my favorite beauty supply!! I literally drive 1 1/2 hours just to go here. I always find something that I want, they have a very wide range of products, wigs, braid hair, ect. Never a bad experience and I always leave satisfied.

First hair/beauty store I’ve been to where the workers actually greet you and offer to help you find exactly what you’re looking for. Very nice employees and the best part is that they are very knowledgeable about the products they’re selling. This a a big plus for me. They have a huge selection of products inside the store to choose from as well which means you’ll have a greater chance of finding what you’re looking for inside. They also have a point/reward system for shoppers that purchase from them frequently which is pretty cool. This will be my go to beauty store in Raleigh from now on.

One of the newer beauty supply stores in Wake County...they have a plethora to choose from and very pleasant employees unlike many of the other Chinese ran stores. Great prices and they have a nice clearance section. I will revisit.

I love this place! Small place compared to most, but they have a great selection and a super friendly and helpful staff. Big plus is that they actually stay open until their posted closing time instead of locking the door five minutes early like most in the area.

I have frequented this Beauty Supply store for quite some time and spent a considerable amount of money. I have been pleased with the service thus far. However, that has changed based on the call that I had today. I purchased hair that was on sale for nearly half the normal price. I usually purchase the hair in the black bag but it was not on sale and the hair in the white bag was on sale and decided to make the purchase. The hair was installed, however after washing it and then applying the flat iron the hair begins to stink. I contacted the regarding my concern and they explained that there was nothing that they could do. I asked the employee to provide me with the name of the manager and she told me Sarah. When I asked her for the last name she refused and told me there was no need to get an attitude and that the manager would tell me the same thing and hung up on me. I paid for the hair and it has a bad smell upon applying heat and would like someone to address my concern. Prior to today I would have given the service a 4 star rating, however with the level of service provided and the rudeness of the employee I cannot apply any stars. The person answering the phone should have taken my information and had the manager contact me or provide the managers full name and number. The employee explained that she did not know her managers last name. Truly unacceptable customer service.

It was my first time coming to Lux Beauty. I must say I was very impressed by the selection of items they had! You honestly get overwhelmed (in a good way) by so many choices! The staff is so helpful and nice! If you go to some hair stores, youll know that not all of them are like that. I will definitely be back :) go here, you wont be disappointed!

I went into purchase some wigs and was greeted and helped. They had a sale by one get obe 50% off. So after I made my selection I was told that 1 of the wigs that I wanted was not available. Sara offered me a measly $3.00 off a wig that was on display. So instead if the $15.00 I would of paid with the sale, I was only going to pay $12.50 with her discount. Well guess where the wings ended.....

Although very well stocked, its way too cluttered. Way too much inventory. Although that might sound like a good thing----its too complicated and very few staff. I rather go to a bigger place with room to look/think/decide on what I want if that makes sense.

Can always find a hair piece for any special occasion and everyday wear. Someone is always available to help and I dont spend as much time here as other wig and beauty supply stores. But leave happier

They have some really nice wigs. You can have one customize for you. They had a great sale on this day. They will be having another one in Nov. Crochet hair 1$ Brazilian human hair 5$ and up. Follow them on Facebook and Insta gram to see when. I made this wig for 7$.

Prices are reasonable and expected. The customer service however is noteworthy. They may check on you often but dont give the feeling like youre being watched --- they legitimately want to help you! Return policy is better than most beauty supply stores. Recommended!

My items were also bagged in a high quality wig bag versus the standard plastic. This place will probably be my go-to from now on.

Its organized but there is so much inventory on the floor its hard to walk around. Also, they play the music entirely too loud. The service from staff is good. Prices are a little higher than some of the other BSS in the area.

Customer service was great! I just dislike the smell of the hair I purchased. It was the Truly Natural Brazilian Multipack (all-in-one) . Pretty hair just stinky.Couldnt even do an install because of the smell.FYI check your hair smell open the pack.

I didn’t realize I visited here as frequently as I have over the past year or so, but I made it to 1,000 points under their reward system. The two disappointments were that the $10 reward must be used within 24 hours and unlike most other store’s discounts, they charged the purchase + tax first, then give $10 off. Usually, it’s the purchase - discount, then you add tax. Oh well, as long as my purchased items hold up and they keep the same or comparable items in stock, I’ll continue to visit here.

Prices are okay, and the workers are okay they just need to hire knowledgeable employees who know about the quality and kind of hair they are selling. Maybe hire some hairstylist. Because I asked for chemical free hair and the lady brought me some hair opened the pack and i almost threw up it didnt stink it stankkkkk. Clearly the hair was chemically treated. I said NOOO!!!! PUT IT BACK.... But they are friendly.
