Compared to every other rental service Ive ever used, penske has the best customer service. They were completely overloaded due to the chaos in Portland (everyone is trying to leave), but they were still able to get me a truck very quickly and even worked with me on price.

I had an 8:30 appointment on 6/29/20 at this Penske location, and when I showed up literally no one was there. There were no trucks, no people, and the door was locked. We waited for about 20 minutes until a driver showed up with the truck. We had rented a truck with a two wheel tow trailer, and the trailer was not on the truck or anywhere else. We finally were able to go inside and talk to someone, but the only person there was like the Penske and/or Hollywood Lights accountant. This Penske location is in the Hollywood Lights building. He was the only person in the building apparently and after he called a few people he ended up just checking the truck out to us. He was on the phone with a coworker the entire time he helped us, to be walked through the process because he had never done it before!! He figured out there was a four wheel tow trailer in their other lot nearby, so at least we did get the trailer and truck. This was definitely not that guys fault but someone obviously messed up here and I am upset about how unprofessional Penske was. Do not rent from here, at least not this location.

Highly Disorganized, dont bother unless you enjoy that. Reserved WELL in advance (a month) call day before move to say van might not be ready. Didnt have all the moving blankets, only had 13 of 2 dozen, and they are slow slow slow.
