I worked with Jeffrey during my extensive moving out process of my unit. During which, my car battery died and I was panicking about how I didn’t have time to call roadside assistance. Jeffrey offered to jump my car without me asking and did so with his own car and cables. It felt like I had a friend during the whole moving process because I felt like i knew Jeffrey as a friend. Jeffrey is very professional, nice mannered and sincere in his plight to perform customer service, going above and beyond the standard I have experienced with storage facilities in the past.Storage facility is located in a quiet area on the edge of the pearl district, unfortunately there is room for concern as homeless tents, outdoor living has moved nearby and break-ins has occurred, never the lessIt’s clean, indoor and does have tight security. I feel secure and have had no issues at all.Bravo for the challenges of today in keeping that positivity assuring safety and excellent service, definitely recommend this facility.

Equipment available for use at facility, climate controlled, 2 spots for large trucks (will fit most uhauls) and plenty of other parking inside a garage near the elevator. Jeffrey was extremely nice and hospitable. He paid attention to my questions and addressed them in an efficient manner. The bldg is clean and well kept. The spaces are nice. I like the code entrance and that there a flat carts available for me to use to help carry stuff.

Jeffery runs a tight ship! He’s gracious and friendly and the facility is incredibly well maintained. It’s a challenging neighborhood, but the garage is enclosed and safe and I’m feeling perfectly comfortable bringing my parents to collect the things I’m storing for them.

Very informative on the phone and when I went in to finalize the storage space Jeffrey was so great, showed me around and we look at the unit before doing a quick contract esigned on my phone and then we were set! A great streamlined and pleasant interaction and the facility is very clean and secure; the codes were sent to me right away so I could start moving some things! Being the 5th facility I’ve used over the years to store my belongings, this was a great experience to be sure!!

Raised the rent on my unit by 50% only TWO months after I had signed the contract and left the country. Nothing I could do but take it on the chin.Extremely disappointed by this predatory, bait and switch practice.The same could happen to you so just make sure youre close enough to move or switch units if you need to.

Jay has made renting from Extra Space one of the best experiences Ive encountered in my adult life. We were in the process of moving and needed space to store our non essential belongings. Jay walked us through the process, answered all of our questions and made us feel welcome. I never had a doubt in my mind that our things would be safe and secure and knowing we didnt have to worry about hauling our things in and out within any time constraints helped the overall process not feel stressful. I highly recommend speaking with Jay as he is knowledgeable, kind, patient and just a really nice person to talk to. We will definitely be considering Extra Space if we require off-site storage for any reason in the future.

An individual named Charlie, who works at the NW Portland Extra Space Storage location, charged my card twice. I called and asked him to remove the second charge, and he told me that Extra Spaces accounting people would handle the issue. Its been two days now, and the money is still missing from my account. When I called a second time, Charlie told me to call my bank; but I had already done that, and they assured me that there was nothing they could do until Extra Space refunded the money. Charlie interrupted me while I was talking to him and generally took no responsibility for charging me twice. He also did nothing to resolve the issue. Use this facility at your own risk!

I won’t lie I was skeptical of storage units in general, but this place is unlike the rest. Here the staff is friendly, they ask how you are and genuinely mean it. They do what they can to take care of you, and in the time of a pandemic they were cleaning and sanitizing frequently. Needless to say, this place is THE place to go for all your storage needs.

The manager Vaughn is 100% focused on delivering 5 star service! He will treat you like a VIP. I moved in when the facility was brand new. They work hard to keep the facility clean. That being said, some people just dont know how to pick up their own trash. I cant fault the staff the behavior of a few trashy customers.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The process of obtaining a new unit during the COVID-19 pandemic was very smooth. I was able to complete all of the requirements via email and over the phone and my lock is being place inside the unit so there will be no face to face contact required. The facility is also usually very clean and not too busy so social distancing has not been an issue either, I always feel very safe. Highly recommend!

This was my first time ever needing a storage unit and Vaun was absolutely amazing during the move in process! Any concern or issue was addressed right away and was followed up by an email. I felt safe and secure in the building. Highly recommend this location.

Vaun at Extra Space Storage made renting a storage unit quick and easy. He was very professional, respectful and efficient. Immediately upon arrival he inquired as to what our needs were, showed us 2 different units, confirmed prices, went over the rental policy, got our information, gave us a key to the storage lock and code for the secured gate and we were on our way with a rental unit to use immediately. Extra Space Storage is very clean and I love the enclosed gated parking structure for loading and unloading.The only complaint I have is the elevator system. It states that you are not supposed to hold the elevator doors open or it will cause them to shut down. The doors close within a few seconds not allowing us to efficiently load the elevators. I was paying for 3 movers and moving about 1500 cubic feet of furniture and belongs. It was a nuisance and took us longer than it should have taken.But, now with everything in storage, I am very happy with our choice. Its going to be very easy to access all of our things.

I was here to help a friend move in and the manager and this place is great. The whole place is super clean and secure. The manager Vaun was super nice and helpful. At one point he came out to help direct traffic and make sure everyone had a parking spot since they were so busy. They even have carts that you can use while you’re there. I definitely recommend this place!

We asked specifically to the desk employee about prorated days and we were told that they were going to pay it back even if you give notice to leave after one day from monthly cycle. Surprise was when I left I did receive no refund. Called them and the answer was they do not refund. We lost $160. Elevators are frequently not working and you have to wait for an employee to fix it

I was very impressed with how clean, secure and professional this place is. I also got a really good rate for indoor storage. The place is heated and my unit was spotlessly clean and dry. Two elevators make loading go faster which saves me time & money for the movers Im paying by the hour. Vaun was very fast and efficient with my paperwork and answered all my questions. He was thoughtful enough to look for and get me a unit close to the elevator since I am moving my entire house in. He was very helpful and made the rental process effortless. I feel good about storing just about everything I own here while I am in the middle of job search and relocation -- this in one less stressful thing off my mind.Ive paid higher rates in the past for places that were cold/unheated, damp, dirty and mildew-smelling with video cameras that didnt even work. Never again -- Im hooked on Extra Space.
