Was told no scratches no dings no dents, and the car came with everything necessary. Also came with a flat tire and no lug wrench to change the tire Car was a let down. However the staff was nice.

This is the best experience I have had purchasing a vehicle! I bought a 2019 Ford Raptor. The process was super convenient to my schedule because I had limited time I could be away from my business that I own. The Truck was basically brand new, still had the brand new car smell. Update: since we traded in we’ve had a number of issues, from parking tickets by mail on the vehicle we traded in to absolutely nobody being able to help when we call with questions on warranty information, finance information on the dealer finance portion and lost plates that were supposed to be mailed to us after filing paperwork. We were so happy until we had the vehicles home, (bought a second after the wrx) then it seemed we were just another ticket in the till.Will continue updateshad an amazing experience with Lapin. They helped us get out of a car we were just thoroughly unhappy with and got us into a beautiful 2017 Subaru wrx. Took care of all the paperwork and even met us with the car to exchange and sign paperwork (we’re from the coast) everyone we talked to and worked with was so nice and so genuinely caring of our situation and really wanted to get us into a vehicle we loved and they did just that. We will return for sure.

I looked around for a decent, good 1st car for my 16 year old son. Found a Ford Focus at Lapin Motors. Havent driven it extensively but seems like a decent car. Renze was amazing in trying to work with my tight schedule that day, he was super polite and easy to talk to. My only problem (which is why I rated a 4) is that the drivers side door consistently doesnt unlock. Not the biggest issue and can be fixed, just should of been addressed at the time of purchase.

Purchased a Tacoma from Lapin recently. I live a thousand miles away from their Portland location and they worked with me to get the truck to a 3rd party Toyota dealer for a PPI. PPI turned up some minor issues like a poorly functioning driver window regulator, a couple bulbs out (3rd brake & license plate), and a leaking axle seal. Lapin assured me theyd do the axle seal and toss new bulbs in.The truck arrived and the bulbs have not been changed. Not a huge deal but now I can assure you I will be replacing this axle seal because if they didnt do bulbs I dont know if I trust them having done the seal. There was no service paperwork to that extent in the truck or sent to me.Overall decent experience. The rep I worked with was friendly (thanks Tristyn) but in general I felt like I had to hound the folks there for results. Maybe a bit of my own nerves with purchasing something sight unseen. But it is what it is. I think just like with any car purchasing experience, it pays to be careful and trust but verify.Great financing options by the way.

Would not recommend...bought a car that they guaranteed was a great car.had nothing but problems.was in and out of their shop 2 month out of the 3 months we had the car.their mechanic couldnt even fix anything..drove it home after it was supposedly fixed and it died when we got home .2000 dollars later to get it running..not to mention the salesman that was absolutely worthless at communicating with us....I would give this place a zero stars...I highly doubt calling you would resolve any issues.if you couldnt resolve the problems before your not going to now.

Literally THE best car buying experience i have ever had. jay was incredibly amazing. i knew i wanted a subaru, so first we went to the dealership off of mlk/burnside, and they quoted me an insane price for a car that i wanted and was so upset and discouraged. they gouged the price like crazy !!! my bf recommended we go and look here since his friend has purchased a car, they had a few different subaru options. right when we got there it was a laid back environment and the least pushy car place i have ever been to. i already felt bad from earlier in the day at the subaru dealership so it was extremely refreshing to have people who genuinely want to help you find something that is right for you. i test drove a 2013 crosstrek and immediately fell in love with it. the subaru dealership only offered me 1500 for my ford when lapin offered to take the car for what was left on my loan and gave me a great deal on my subie. even said i could take it home for the night and test it out and do whatever with it before buying. i am so happy with my car and have total faith that they will take care of anyone who walks in the door 🤍

Had yet another incident where the entire street is blocked off and forces people to BACK UP into the oncoming traffic of Holgate. Extremely dangerous. Staff that I encountered did not care at all. This coupled with the way employees test out cars on the blocks in our neighborhood is just too much. They run stop signs, speed and dont give a rip about sharing the road. I have had nice interactions with two people who stopped to help after an accident, so I know there are some good people here, can those people step up and help us negotiate a safer presence in this neighborhood? Does the owner Leo know this is going on?

Went to lapin motors not to long ago to buy a ford explorer interceptor. Had a really good experience with Rachel she was really sweat and kind and not pushy at all about anything Got everything done as quick as soon as she could. And honestly on her day off it was great. Saw they had the exact vehicle I had been looking for weeks and weeks for. Sent them an email in the morning to check if it was still in stock, got an email will all the details on the car, and a Tristyn called within a half hour to see if I had any questions or wanted to come take a look at it. Loud motors and racing up and down the road. Trying to drive out of here and there are always car sales men and their customers standing in the middle of the road ignoring people trying to use the road as a street and not a “parking lot “ for their merchandise to be sold off of. This neighborhood would be great if it wasn’t for this dealership using the street like it’s their sales parking lot. Never have I seen a car dealership be allowed to use the street to sell their products, that’s why there are car lots, so that people have a safe place to stand while looking at the car they want. Not to mention the exhaust I have to breathe in while they sit and rev and idle the cars right in front of my house. It’s ear deafening and and very unhealthy for me to breathe this stuff in. This business shouldn’t be allowed here, they’ve almost hit me and multiple people and they always laugh about it. Like it’s a game to see if they can scare the neighbors by almost hitting us when racing up and down the street. They take every parking spot on the street and will leave their cars out over night here instead of putting them all back in because apparently my tax dollars are for them to park their merchandise and not my own vehicle. This place needs to find a new home, because this is just not fair to the neighborhood to have to be their car show floor. I’ve talked to other neighbors and no one on this street wants them here and finds them to be an eye sore and ear sore.

No Masks everyone seems to brush off covid and everyone seems to busy on there phones or vaping. Not sure how they sell so many vehicles. Came by a few years ago and had a totally different atmosphere. Wish it didnt change staff used to be super friendly and professional....

This was my second trip to Lapin. Long story, but the first time around my situation didnt work out for financing the vehicle I was trying to get. Not their fault by a long shot, and even back then they treated me with respect and dignity and even gave me pointers on what to do with my credit situation to improve my score rapidly.Fast forward 6 months and I returned, having done those steps and raised my credit significantly, to look at a vehicle I saw online. I called the shop to inquire about the car and spoke to Brian who told me to come on in and give it a drive as it was indeed still available. When I got to the dealership I spoke with Joeel who Id dealt with before and took the vehicle for a ride. The one I was there for didnt really fit my needs, but I eyed a nice 2017 Outback that was priced incredibly well. Took that for a drive and I was set.Brian and Joeel gave me a more than fair deal on my trade in, and immediately took care of anything I noticed on my purchase (noticed it was going to need tires soon, they scheduled me for new tires, noticed rear headrests missing, they ordered and had sent to my home). Dont get me wrong, the two things I mentioned were literally the ONLY issues with my purchase on first sight, and they were immediately quick to resolve them before I had keys in hand.These guys specialize in Subarus, but they have a little bit of everything. Theyve got their own repair, body and performance shop too, if you decide to buy a nice lil STI like the other customer that was there that day did.All in all I would totally recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Top notch.P.S. Just to show the level of People treating people like people they give you, when I didnt get approved last time, they even paid for me to get a ride home. I didnt have a car at all at that point, but they ensured that even though I didnt get to be their customer then, that I got home safe that day. Thats what brought me back in the first place.Thanks guys.
