Store location and selling goods quality are generally good. My concerns are about bakery department. It seems like they have hired all new staff and the service quality went down since then. They used to be more competent and friendly (especially Matt). Besides bread isnt always fresh as it used to be.
Its my first time shopping. It has almost everything. No complaints on the items. The only concern I have is the place is really congested. If I have to think on any item to buy or not standing near the aisle, it makes me really uncomfortable that someone who is behind me also has no space to stand mainly on Weekends. Interns of Groceries, there is no complaints, I will always love Whole foods.
As always very good their meat is out of this world expensive but you pay for what you get
Enjoyed shopping groceries in a nice clean enviornmental store.
I was here this morning (10.09.2021), the man in the seafood department was NOT friendly and you can tell he did not want to be there!!!It was definitely aggravating. The cashier was really nice & friendly. I wish I had gotten her name.
Its a great store in a fantastic location. The customer service was top-notch. When I called to ask about a product, I was transferred to the appropriate department. It rang and rang and I waited. Finally, the same person who I initially spoke with picked up and apologized as there was no one in the department to answer the phone. They then took the time to walk to that section, tell me whether they had it, the price, AND what color they were. What a great employee to have on staff - definitely appreciate the extra step to go above and beyond!
This is probably my favorite Whole Foods location ever. The flowers are always superb, the key lime pies are always fresh, and the employees are always so friendly. Plus the new checkout option for smaller amounts is so convenient. Love this location and the amenities they keep adding!
Even though this grocery store chain is more expensive than the rest of all of the grocery store chains, you will find great produce and great meats. They have an Amazon Locker and a flower shop here. If you need gluten free, non-GMO, vegan, vegetarian, or any other dietary restrictions, you can find it here.Just bring your wallet!
I’ve had groceries delivered from this location and they delivered rotten, severely bruised, or cut produce. The first time I assumed it was an honest mistake even though my tomato’s, plums, pineapples were all nearly expired. This time however my pineapples were so blatantly bad, it even smelled bad yet... they still picked and delivered it.The prices are far too high to take a gamble on delivering produce that you’ll have to throw away once they deliver it. I’ve had to throw nearly 60% of the produce that they deliver away because it was rotten. Either they’ve been instructed to pick these types of fruit for delivery or they simply just don’t examine the quality of food before they add it to the bag... there’s no way rotten produce should have made into my items, it should have been thrown in the trash...Whats worse is I contacted this stores mgmt to discuss how horrified I was at the poor quality of this produce. I was told directly this produce delivered does NOT come from the stores but rather a warehouse. Neither Whole Foods nor Amazon advertises this to their consumer and it makes a BIG difference. I shop for fresh produce and meat which is delivered from farms daily I dont want old products which have been sitting in dark warehouses for God knows how long unattended and unwashed. I am completely disgusted by this and Whole Foods will have a lawsuit on their hands for unethical practices should this continue. Their consumers deserve better and Im thankful Im no longer one of them. When these reviews are responded to by asking you to contact wfmsupport/help they NEVER reply to your legitimate complaints, its just a ruse to make the public think they care.
Good healthy organic product that you cant find elsewhere. A little more costly but worth it for better taste and nutrition.
The produce is not as good as it used to be. The breakfast and coffee area is always empty. I don’t understand why they have a breakfast area if they don’t keep it supplied in mornings. I went to a different location and found that it was better. So if you’re not happy with this location try another Whole Foods.
Wow! Big store very expensive for my pocket. I love the Amazon hub. The way it allows you to return a item.
Whole Foods corporate policy clearly states it is not a pet friendly environment with the exception of certified service animals. This was not the case when I shopped at this location in 5/5. Consumers pay more money to get clean, organic & uncontaminated food. When I contacted the store on 5/6 to inform management of my experience the Customer Service manager listened but then said although its policy they cant/wont confront customers in violation. I informed him this was unacceptable therefore Im escalating my experience with Corporate. If this is going to continue without support/compliance from management I will NO LONGER be a Whole Foods consumer, post the incident on social media & take my business to Central Market.Signed...A very offended consumer
Of my hundreds of visits to Whole Foods in Plano, Ive only encountered one snarky associate. So, I do my best to avoid her. Otherwise, they are super friendly and always helpful. Their selection is better than some of the other locations especially with seafood. The app is a dred but the associates and the larger space make it a market for in-store shopping.
So google wants me to share a detailed account of my visit so here we go. I walked in bought 2 bags cherries, parsley and green onions then went to the butches and got some burgers 🍔 after that got some cheeses and wine then chicken organic and eggs also organic walked to the cashier and checked out.
1. Cart area at store filthy trash and stains on concrete.2. Urinals filled with urine. 1st urinal does not flush enough clear urine. Men Restroom not well lit walls appears dingy.Refered to Supervisor before. Was told that he would take care of problem. I have no doubt that these items are take care of. Than you
Our family has just started shopping at Whole Foods and everything is very organized. They are always re-stocking items which is great because last time we came, one of our loved items was sold out and I checked again 5 minutes later and someone was stocking! I love how when you go to the soap section they actually have locally produced soap which smells amazing, the oat soap is fantastic for my eczema. Also let’s not forget our employees there, the gentleman who checked us out was very sweet. I highly recommend anyone to come here.
Refused to see if we left a personal belonging at self checkout. It take 30 seconds. Overall its lost all its charm since Amazon
This place was smaller than I expected for a Whole Foods but everything else was fine. There’s definitely artisan, good quality items here, but it’s pricey. Depends on your budget and what you’re looking for. For those who are vegans, they don’t have vegan donuts in their bakery area. They do have a mock meat area in the freezer area.
Good fresh good. They don’t have the same products as NY things like Poland Springs water or McCain’s Oatmeal. But a good experience overall.
Great Whole Foods location. Clean store. WiFi works excellent inside and in the parking lot. One note: this is an Amazon hub locker location, but the hub locker closes at 8PM, not 9PM like the store.
Whole foods has been the best, they have the best organic non GMO foods, breads, everything about them is natural and clean, love shopping there, many foods hard to find elsewhere can be found here, fresh fish and seafood, tasty bakery items, even in these times, they have taken every precaution in distancing customers from one another, they have early hours for senior citizens, it means a lot, they care for the community. The staff is always helpful, nice and polite.
Great store, clean with a wonderful selection of ready made food. All good! Kind helpful workers.
Please continue with the original Whole Foods Store/Owner/Moto by providing to its customers the VERY BEST HIGH QUALITY, HIGH GRADE ORGANIC FRUITS, JUICES AND VEGETABLES; and the VERY BEST HIGH QUALITY, EXCELLENT and EFFECTIVE VITAMINS, MINERALS AND ALL/ETC., (that are efficacious) from the Best farmers, manufacturers and companies. Since the purchase of Whole Foods, all of the above have changed. Please bring back the BEST!!!!!!!
Nice grocery store for wide selection of organic and non organic products. Has discounted prices for Amazon Prime members. Offers pizza, burger, suishi and Asian grill for lunch and dinner. You can sign up for Whole Foods card to earn more savings. Good for middle to upper middle class families to eat based on pricing. Also has a variety of supplements, vitamins, protein products and more for improving health. ENJOY!!!
This is one of, if not the best grocery store in a 20 mile radius. The food is always appealing, and the staff has always been helpful as well as friendly. When you walk down the produce aisles, all of the fruits and veggies are af great quality. Inventory sometimes gets low, but never for more than a day in my experience. The bakery and prepared food are great. The wine and beer section is well stocked with a variety of choices. The meat from this store is pricey, but top quality. This location is part of a strip shopping center, and that can sometimes cause traffic and pedestrian congestion, close parking may be limited.I would have normally given a location with a couple of drawbacks a 4 star rating, but the employees quality really make up for the few issues I would nitpick about the location.I highly reccommend this store.
Its just grocery store. High pricing. No special offers. ..
Good heavy cakes but can get better dalivery service
Expensive, but I’ve never not enjoyed a product I’ve purchased
Just flew in stopped in to get some stuff at the dependable whole food.
Love this store! So many healthy choices and the prices are not bad at all!
Please be careful when you purchase from Whole Foods. You called it one of a big groceries store. I am buying the whole chickens from here which weight 3.8lbs per chicken but on their system, it show that they are over 6lbs each. I spoke with the cashier and she agreed that it was incorrect then the customer service came and claimed it was the wrong products till we spent tome to look at it and found out that the system was cheated. It double the weights of those chickens... I have been waiting for a long time so he can verified and he needs to weight it again at the meat department to bright the right weights. I could not find where to post the pictures or I would do here.I waited so long for them to fix their mistake and to prove it but the customer services are so poor which they refuse to do anything to make the situation better.... so so disappointed. I have been a customer for so long and they always have a good service but now not only they have a bad service but they cheated on their customers!!!!
Parking is a nightmare and this place is sooooo busyyy. Dont get ran over while walking to the entrance or tripped while in the store. Ughhh
I reason for going to Whole Food was to return a package to Amazon, Whole made the process easy and convenient. And to pickup a package form Amazon Lockers.
Clean store. Well stocked with fresh veggies.
I only come here for the bakery and for specialty items I cant get at a conventional grocery store. With that said, the bakery is AMAZING. Not only do the baked goods taste good, theyre also accommodating. Twice a year, we get chantilly cakes from here. One for my mother-in-laws birthday and again for my wifes birthday. I bring this up because my wife has a strawberry allergy. I never get a no from them when we order one even if its the day before. This is why Ill drive to the Plano location vs the Fairfield location which is considerably closer. Fairfield will no longer get my money. They wont make it without strawberries nor will they take your order over the phone. Theyll direct you to order online. Whole Foods Plano is the best!
Best and freshest ground beef. My husband commented this is the best burger. Where did you get the meat? Fresh vegetables and fruit. The best ingredients for cooking.
Always professional, clean, and well stocked. Their commitment to customer and employee safety is top notch.
Great place to buy organic food items, especially fruits.Clean and well maintained. But few items are a bit overpriced.
Bought several packages of pork potstickers and instead of coming with the usual sweet dipping sauce they came with some absolutely nasty stuff that tasted like balsamic vinegar. Completely ruined my dinner. Given how expensive this place is customers should not have to put up with this type of snafu.
Usually a good experience, this time almost all their coolers were being totally reloaded. At least they should be able to let you know when you enter. No probs forcing mask signs everywhere.
Best Place for all foods .. love the various varieties being offered
Their fruit is hands down the best! so fresh & so good! love that theres an Amazon station inside
Food looked fresh and friendly associates
Nice place to buy groceries.
Well stocked, friendly associates
Very helpful staff 😊👍
I stop here every week and multiple times a week for groceries and for quick meals. Im so happy to have the hot bar packaged meals back, but I wish there were more vegan options. The vegan bakery section is pretty great. The staff always offers help and goes above and beyond to answer questions about nutrition and ingredients. Food is always fresh and staff is always professional. Also, Im so glad there are self checkout stations now.
Good as usual.only place to get a variety of cheese made with vegetable rennett?
Excellent grocery store, everything organize, easy to find any product but if you could, personal team are always amazing, open to help you with a big smile (undercover) for you...
Good produce and good service. Excellent smoked salmon. I forgot my debit card. They held my groceries, made sure to keep anything requiring refrigeration cold. It was all bagged and ready to go when I got back. Now that is Customer service at its best.
Clean store, fresh produce but overpriced even for non organic food, plus their pizza is too expensive for the crust to taste like cardboard. I bought 2 slices of pizza, and I asked for it to be reheated in the oven, the employee told me they are already heated. Pizza wasn’t warm enough and I had to throw it away after a few bites. Cheese was dry and crust was so tough. Will not recommend their pizza slice
Whole Foods was extremely busy this morning, going into noon hour.I went in with my wife, but turned around and preferred to sit in car. What caught my interest the most and turned me around at the Veggie/Fruit area of store, was the crowds of people huddle that area and the amount of Greenery sticking out of their shopping carts and what observed from car, the amount of fresh vegetables overflowing there paperbags. I am assuming the after Holidays, the resolutions, the pandemic and the weather forecast this weekend for Snow has cause everyone to try reduce our belt holes for this winter shutting. Anyway, cold beautiful sunny morning with lots of friendly and happy looking people out shopping at Whole Foods.
I really love the environment at this location with a large outdoor patio it’s a nice place to unwind and relax after a long day at work and also obviously a great selection of food but what I also find very helpful is the discount rack which I found some Kid Kanteen baby bottle nipples at a great discount.
The guy at the bakery was super awesome. Needed a birthday cake and he pointed out the best one for me. And everyone loved it “chocolate moose cake” it was not too sweet and so fresh. Thank you 💕
Fantastic!!! Whole foods is always the best, the food, the service, everything is 👌. I am transitioning to eating only organic foods and I know I will be making the trip here more often than usual. Im stoked!!!
Whole foods is losing everything what made them different: no more prepared food, no more smoke, butchery looks super regular. Is it just a matter of time before they drop off the craft beers and wine selection? Hopefully not, but so far, terrible decisions are been taken in this place. Its starting to look like a regular grocery store. Too bad.
Always a great place to shop
Friendly helpful staff. Welcomed at the door. Nice selection. My daughter dropped a package of bulk almonds on our way to the check out. Staff quickly cleared the mess while reassuring me not to worry about it. Another person brought me a new package. Everyone was great start to finish.
It has some pretty fancy foods. Its expensive. Its way better than Trader Joes. But I dont love this store. I love Sprouts
Nice and big, way overpriced. Same exact items for 30-60% less elsewhere nearby.
This is a really nice sized store thats well lit and full of kind people. The renovations are noticeable. I really like the flow of it. They even have an Amazon Returns center within it.
Great place to find unique wines! Wade is awesome!
Pricey but everything is fresh. Worth the trip.
I placed a $220 grocery order online at 6:15pm for delivery between 8pm and 10pm. The last notification I received was around 7:30pm stating that my shopper had finished my order. By 11pm I had not received my order, so I called Amazon customer service. I was told that my order was not able to be tracked and was advised to call back in the morning if my order had still not been delivered.By 9am this morning—no delivery, so I again called Amazon. I talked to three people, the last a supervisor, who said unfortunately my order was “missing” and they would cancel it, refund our money, and I could then place another order. REALLY????? When I asked what they were going to do to make this right and how they would ensure that this didn’t happen again...I was told that they would be “looking into the issue” and I was offered a $10 promotional credit. This is the second time this has happened with our grocery order, though last time it actually did show up several hours after it was supposed to. Amazon and Whole Foods BOTH need to work on their customer service. At this point, we will be getting our food from Sprouts and Market Street. VERY DISAPPOINTED ☹️
Love the ones in Washington state. Very spacious and well organized. Here its a little tight between the aisles. The bright feel of the typical wholefoods in Washington state is missing here.
Great healthy food and supplements. Staff is very knowledgeable on the products.
They have a big selection of groceries. Everyone is nice and they are following covid guidelines.
I have never had a problem with the store before this evening. We often get pizza on Friday evenings and the pizza we received this evening was completely unacceptable. Both pizzas were supposed to be cheese pizzas. We received one pizza with sauce and 10 pieces of shredded cheese on it and the second piece had no sauce and 10 pieces of shredded cheese on it.
Whats not to love. Love Whole foods.
They have everything, love this store ❣️
Great place to shop
My favorite grocery store!
Whole foods was great this morning. Got in and got it before the crowd. They were not out of anything that I needed. Good Day !
I completely dislike everything about this store The prices I pay for bagging my own groceries and standing in long lines with no customer service in any real way are unbelievable really Whatever happened to the original store in Austin that was a joy to go to everyday oh yay it sold out Back to central market we go
Its my wifes store, never mine. Too expensive for me. I always feel heart ache at check out.
I love this place it is my happy place for sure ☺️
Excellent customer service experience. The product is always fresh and delicious!
An amazing selection of everything they sell! Pricey, but the store is clean and the employees are both competent and helpful!!
Excellent service from Matthew in the bakery department, very courteous, professional and polite
The quality is definitely there, but at a premium. I picked up some beautiful rib eye prime steaks and some accoutrements and it was delicious... but also set me back over a $120 (in one partially filled paper bag)... Id probably do it again though... it was really that good! 4 stars for the quality, -1 star price tag
The people here are on their game! Ridiculously helpful!! The plant guy was stellar and the wine lady was really knowledgeable! Everyone here exhibits competency and that is extremely refreshing
Found what I needed but noticed some flies on some merchandise.
Only went to pick-up some veggies. Walked the store while there and picked up more items I had not been able to find for gluten free at other stores.
I go for one thing but every time Im in there the staff is friendly and they have some good deals
Very expensive products. There are many choices close by with the same products but lesser price.
Staff here is knowledgeable and always making great recommendations.
The quarantine has affected the usual prepandemic excitement and energy in this store. Seems that the online Amazon shopping has taken hold. There doesnt need to be a whole unmanned cheese counter and such a lack luster selection the bakery to occupy a big store. This was a fun place to go, get a neck rub, explore products.
Its a large Whole Foods with Amazon locker. Plenty of parking and friendly staff.
