This is an awesome auto shop. The management and staff are fair and friendly. We brought in our 2015 Dodge Journey and we were provided all of the options for repair that made sense at a great price. We will bring all of our vehicles here from now on!

Ive been with Meineke for about 2 years. They give great service, do the work I need and want the right way and I am happy to have a mechanic I can count on. They do the work right and take care of me and my Mustang. 5 Stars across the board.

This was definitely one of the best shops I’ve been too. They check your brakes for free before they even start working on your car, they’re honest, and I got my brakes changed for a great price.

Even tough I moved 45 minutes away from this location, I still bring my car here. The manager Chris is a professional. He is always kind and helpful. I will continue to make the drive for the service they provide here!

I had a pair of broken studs. Chris was very helpful and not only fixed the studs at a fair price, he explained why it happened and what needed to be done to prevent it happening in the future. He answered all of my questions very well in a friendly manner. The service was fast.

Another auto shop stated I would need a complete AC rebuild and a new compressor, which would cost up to $1385 for my little sisters 2015 Chevy Cruz. However, at Meineke, the owner Mr. Chalhoub and the head mechanic, Chris, debunked the other shops claim of needing a new A/C compressor and whole system rebuild. They explained the mechanics of the A/C system and how my A/C compressor was not the issue. It was the fan malfunctioning! Mr. Chalhoub worked closely with our warranty company, and we walked out, saving a LOT of money and a working A/C. Single ladies, I recommend you taking your vehicles to the ladies and gentlemen at this shop. They are honest and will look out for you and your pockets! I was so impressed by their work; I mentioned I would bring my Audi in for future service to slash the dealership prices. Unfortunately, they only handle minor services such as oil changes on foreign cars. Still, fortunately, they have a close relationship with the foreign car mechanic shop next door to Meineke. Mr. Chalhoub stated he would alert the owner in advance of new customers needing major work. Great Customer Service!!!

Very disappointed in the service and the advisors decisions. I requested an alignment. I was later contacted to inform me of a bent tie rod end. When I declined the work they wanted to charge full price and not offer rectification of the alignment upon return.In my experience a simple inspection of the parts of the process would have rectified this challenge and they would not have needed to charge. Instead there created a lose lose situation and have done 3/4 of a job due to a lack of attention to detail. Very dissatisfied and disappointed.

These guys are the best, they always take good care of me at fair and reasonable price. Honest, never had to worry about that here. I would definitely recommend.

Horrible place, would not recommend it. I Went in to check the courtesy engine light check as per the Meineke flyer (see pic), the owner refuse to honor the flyer & stated that he will not be able to tell me the diagnostic code even though it clearly states the free scan does include code reading (see pic).

They provided great customer service and assistance with my Audi A3. I didn’t once feel like they were doing anything other than helping me resolve my car issue. They did a break down of what exactly was wrong with my car and even provided me a print out of what the car manufacturers recommends. Highly satisfied and proven trustworthy!

Waited half an hour at the front desk when they opened and nobody even acknowledged me, so I took my business elsewhere. Could hear them in the back chatting and laughing. If you arent really open then dont say you are. If you value your time dont go here because theyre slow and lazy.

My first time coming here I was looking for a deal. There weren’t any deals at the time because the make and model of my car requires special brand oil and filter. The owner was extremely pleasant and very informative. He explained the process and why it it had to be special. I truly appreciated the knowledge that he gave me. About a month or so later today my car said low engine oil I wasn’t sure what or why since I just had the oil change. I brought it back and informed them what was going on. He looked at me and was right said right away “we are going to do the oil change again free if charge”. What great service and at that time they didn’t even know if it was their fault. After some research while waiting Come to find out while waiting doing some research the issue was a known issue with this particular model of Audi and there was a recall. Needles to say both times I have received excellent friendly service and will continue to bring my cars here. Thank you for your service!!!

Always an amazing experience! Professional, quality and affordable service. I have been going to Meineke for years in CA but the care taken at the Coit branch in Plano is the best ever.

Fast diagnosis. My 1990 Buick Reatta seems to run much better. I thought they would have to give me a hard luck story about finding the parts for something that old and Jack the price up. They called the next afternoon and said it was ready. I will take it out this week for a lengthy drive to be sure things are up to Snuff. All in all, I am very happy.

I came with high prices set in mind for my brake/rotor replacement. And it was far from that. Not only did they discount. The financing options are great. The manager/owner went out of his way to ensure that I personally had a great service from beginning to end, I mean he PERSONALLY drove me home after my car started being serviced, and it was done on time; just as they said. Honestly happy I came out of my way to go here for my brake service. They’re great all over.

My gear shifter malfunctioned last night for the second time. I called several repair shops and they wanted me to leave it for three days or longer just to look at my car. Called Meineke and spoke with Chris who stated he could look at it and advise of a repair solution within an hour. Dropped my car off promptly afterwards and was able to pick it up the same day. I appreciate the service, his honesty over the phone, and was satisfied with the replacement cost. Thanks again Chris!

I have taken my car here for several years for everything from oil change to tire rotation to its making a weird noise and the employees/mechanics are super friendly and professional AND HONEST. Even with COVID going on, theyre still on top of their stuff and Ive never been done wrong here before!

My car broke down with a very dangerous brake/tire issue. I was supposed to be headed back home to Austin that day and luckily had the car towed to them in the early AM. I didnt know what was wrong with my car & they had every opportunity to completely rip me off...but they didnt. They fixed my totally un-driveable car, which turned out to be a very serious but minor issue, and got me back home safely. Didnt even have an appointment. Also thought Id be spending massive amounts of money, but the bill wasnt even $100. Honest mechanics here, and that really means everything. Thank you so much. Highly recommend this crew.

I came to this shop for unexpected repairs with a newly purchased vehicle. My warranty reps were wanting to continuously argue and negotiate the price. I was taken care of here and had the repairs done that I needed. I feel like I was treated fair and honest. I would recommend going here.

Bad buisness. Im a hard working parent to 5 kids. These guys did me dirty. They convince me to let them look at my truck. I let them diagnosis it. When he told me the problem I told him I did not have money for that at the time. The ripped my engine apart and left the pieces laying all over my truck and charged me 400 to get it out there shop. Really bad business. Be warn. Here photos if you dont believe me.

I went and got my inspection and was in and out under 20 min!

Got $1700.XX worth of work done. Had a great experience. Chris (Manager) and another gentleman (assistant manager I believe, cannot remember his name) were very attentive, kind, and knowledgable. They gave me the products I asked for and I got a very good price given the amount of work done. They also gave me a warranty on the labour (I believe it was 3 months but dont quote me.) And the parts (1 year but again dont quote me. They had the best price out of a few other places I called. Car came back with everything I needed taken care of. Another plus is that my car came back without grease and oil stains on the inside (Ive had problems with this before from other mechanics). This is now my go to spot for my cars.

Had a very good experience. They will tell you straight up what is wrong without any of the bologna that goes with it. Rarely have I met pleasant car mechanics, so I am happy that this place is changing my views. Thank you, would recommend!

I have used their services on several occasions, and it has always been a very satisfactory experience. My car was ready when promised, the work was done right as it should be and there were no up selling. These qualities are hard to find in the auto service industry. See you next time.

I think they have the lowest customer service in this business. My friend and I took his car to shop get checked. While the car was being checked they invited us inside when we entered the office they didn’t offer us any seat we were just standing. My friend he grabbed one of the chairs to sit down and one of the mechanics came up to him and started to insult him with his mental issues. I’m not sure if this guy is certified to make a judgment for that but that’s completely not acceptable. By the way we were maintaining the physical distance between others. Instead of not offering your customers any waiting lobby service, just place couple of cairs available to have them sit with distancing. If your personal life isn’t going well, you cannot take it out of your customer. If the moral values are important for you and don’t want to get insulted, please don’t take your car to this shop.

I was not impressed. I was given and estimates which was supposed to be 50% off, but was a higher price than any other brake shop around the area. I would not recommend this place.

Im becoming a big fan of Meineke. Brought car in for oil change, inspection, and break diagnostics. Chris was courteous, knowledgeable, and respectful of my time. All services were completed within the time quoted. Labor prices were fair and reasonable. I have no problem recommending this location.

This shop was a lifesaver!! Such amazing customer service and a warm welcoming atmosphere. Not only did they work with me on getting my parts and the labor but they gave me a ride home so I didn’t have to buy an uber. They go above and beyond. The entire staff is welcoming and kind. Definitely will be keeping them around for all my maintenance needs.

Although the man at the front desk was kind and professional, his colleagues were not. Employees did not comply with COVID-19 guidelines while I was in the establishment. The employee with the gray and brown beard was rude to me and spoke in a condescending tone as I was checking out and when an older white gentlemen entered the establishment, he then decided it was appropriate to wear a mask. I will not get my car serviced here again.

Old dishonest practices. So sad they want to use deceptive practices to generate income instead of being up front and honest.They took my truck in, knowing full well they couldn’t fix it, but ran up the charges anyways. Terrible.

Just new in Dallas and needed a diagnosis of my cars AC unit that was broken. I scurried to Meineke on an extremely hot afternoon and was literally sweating in the car. They diagnosed and gave me an estimate, providing two options: one that sounded like a temporary fix and the other with OEM materials and warranty attached. Scared of a penny-wise-pound-foolish action, I chose the latter. You know that its hard to take certain decisions, but I have to ensure that this decision, with the cost implication, will be the best. Chris and his team did a professional job and I was able to get the car on time.Thank you, Meineke!

I went in on Veterans Day which offer 20% discount on oil changes. Even though Im a veteran, I did not receive the discount. I was treated differently from other customers and my car was done extremely fast. This was my first and last time using Meineke.

One of the better mechanic shops Ive been to. Theyre honest and very helpful. As a woman, I feel safe coming here, knowing they wont try to take advantage of me like other shops might.

Unfortunately I went to another company to have my cars brakes replaced. They did a horrible job, didn’t tell me the rotors needed replaced. I found Meineke on Coit, they told me everything and what I could possibly encounter. They did an amazing job and charged less than the first garage. This store has a customer for life!

This placed is sad. I go in for a simple oil change and come out with a Check Engine Light on (That wasnt on when I brought it in) and what they said is a broken filter housing.They messed up when taking off the filter housing and couldnt get it back on correctly which caused the engine light to come on. I asked if they checked to see why the engine light was on and they said it would cost a diagnostic fee. They caused the damage and denied any responsibility. I had to drive to Auto Zone to find out why the engine light was on. Auto Zone Manager did a computer check and he said that the Air Filter Housing was not attached properly. The housing was open. The Auto Zone Manager straighten up the filter and the housing and was able to snap on one of the two clips.He turned off the Check Engine Light and I drove around with no problem and no engine light on..Meineke #2252 Checked the air filter by removing the housing and didnt put the housing on properly and let me leave trying to figure out exactly what they did and what they were covering up. Beware of this place. They know what they did, deny everything, play ignorant and actually want me to pay for a diagnostic fee to tell me what they already knew.

Air conditioner in my difficult to work on commercial van was repiared in a timely professional manner. It wasnt an easy diagnosis. They found the real problem and fixed it quickly. Thank you very much! No longer driving around Dallas in a black air condition free van.

Went in for an oil change. (Mind you my light works and was not on. I went for an oil change because my sticker said it was time.) After getting my car back, now I had to pay more because my air filter needed changed. Paid for that.After the completion of the work,10 miles later my oil light comes on. I called three times straight just to get voicemail. Call the next day I was told to come in and they will fix it. I get there today and they want to charge me 180, to replace the pin in my oil sensor. Mind you my pin was not broke or noted that it could brake. But somehow after having my car for a year now with numerous of oil changed (not here), it all of a sudden brakes.

WORST PLACE, HUGE RIP OFF. First time i went to this store just for an oil change as I received coupon in mail. They did some diagnosis on the car without my consent and came up with the broken engine mounts. I have had spent close to couple of grands to get the mounts replaced at this place. After they replaced the mounts, car is still shaking. When i went talk to the Owner, Mr.Bud, he refused to accept it and insulted me to get out of the store. A great way to deal with the customer. Quote Get out from my shop. I did not raise my voice or lose my temper as I knew its not worth my time. I have already lost my money. I have all the receipts, hopefully some other Meineke will be able to fix. STRONGLY CONDEMN THE BEHAVIOUR. And definitely not recommend this store.

I’ve been going to the Coit Rd Meineke location for the past 3 or so years for inspections and oil changes and the service is always friendly and professional. They don’t try to up sale and they are reliable.

Took my car in for just an ordinary oil change, the customer service was extraordinary. The staff really cares about keeping your business. Since my first trip I have been back at least 4 times bringing multiple cars for regular maintenance. They make it really simple for you to understand what is actually needed at an affordable cost. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a friendly neighborhood shop.

I went to this place to fix my car starting issue. They said they will do the diagnostics. I payed for diagnostics hoping that they will diagnose the whole car. After i payed, Meineke gave me pice of paper which has no information about the car diagnostics except the issue i have already reported. And they said i failed to ask full diagnostics and just asked diagnostics. I was shocked to hear that. Basically they dont complete details. Dont use genuine parts. Customers has to ask enough questions. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Since i dont have option to reply i am editing my initial review and responding to below response from Meineke. When ask for diagnostics the car, customer expects to diagnose their car not one thing. When i asked the same question after the process was completed, employee said, i have failed to ask Full diagnose instead i asked to diagnose. Finally Customer service(The way they give answers to any questions) is rally bad. That is the reason i recommend any customer going to this place to prepare with all the questions to avoid surprises.

Got my oil change here and absolutely the worst place to go to, they reccomend me the most expensive oil change when I didn’t even need it and they started yelling at us because we didn’t want to change the filter. Worst experience ever ( esp this guy name Nersgee, not sure how to spell his name)
