Got a flat tire and was able to make it to the gas station around the corner; I called and Marty offered to walk over to see if it was drivable. Once I got my car to the shop, they offered to check if my spare was usable in addition to putting on a new tire. They told me upon pick up that while the spare fit, the lug nuts did not and Gene offered to purchase special lug nuts on my behalf so I could avoid the cost of new full sized spare.

Fast, reasonable and honest. They only suggest to repair what is necessary. My service guy, Martinez, was great.

I learned many years ago to steer clear of budget tire shops and lean towards independent dealers. This one. They know tires and Ive been going to them for 16 years. Ive never had issues with a poor tire mount to the rim and losing a seal with a slow leak. These guys are pros! Most highly recommend.

My experiences have always been positive. I have a car and an RV. Plano Tire has regularly serviced my vehicles and kept them on the road. Recently needed a state inspection. Their inspector was out, but they managed to call someone to take care of me. They really took the extra effort.

If you have a converted school bus, he is more than willing and able to meet your needs. I cannot speak highly enough of this place and its employees. I was in last week to get a front end alignment for my 2009 Chevy Colorado. A few days later I took my Truck to different shop to have some brake work done. While inspecting the brakes, the other mechanic found that I had a bad tie-rod. I mentioned to him that I just had the alignment done. His comment was that Plano Tire should have seen the issue when doing the alignment. So I asked him to fix the tie-rod. Not even thinking that I should have had him put it back together so I could take it to Plano tire them inspect what they missed to begin with. But that’s what the owner (Gene) said I should have done when I asked him to re-align the steering now that the new tie-rod has been fixed.Gene instantly questioned my honesty and was not even slightly willing to accept that maybe his alignment guy did not catch the issue. I didnt even think this would be an issue with Gene because I had always known him to be a stand-up guy who stood behind the work done at Plano tire. Ive been doing business with Plano Tire for about 8 years. Ive bought several sets of tire for my truck, my boat trailer, my Jeep, my wifes car, my daughters car, my sons car, and even a boat trailer. Ive recommended Plano Tire to my friends on numerous occasions. Ive even brought friends to their doorstep personally to do business with.What really would it cost Plano Tire to do a realignment and make a long-term customer happy? Not much when you consider the amount of future business lost! The funny thing about bad reviews, a business never really knows how much business a bad review will cost them.As for me, I won’t be back to Plano Tire. And if you are looking for a mechanic/garage that will stand behind their work, treat you with respect, and honor your long history with them… I suggest you look somewhere else.

I got off work, went to my car and had a flat tire. I called Plano Tires and they were out within 30 minutes. Patched up my tire and I started home. The man that came out was really kind and did a great job. He worked fast and I was very pleased with the service. Cost was reasonable as well. Cannot begin to describe the phenomenal service and care this company provides. So many auto repair places are untrustworthy. These guys are everything you will ever need for almost any car!! The first time they helped me - I had a flat tire. At work. It was a mile or two from their location but they came out on site and fixed it. Then, another time a car of ours experienced a catastrophic brake failure on 75. We drove straight to them. They could have fixed it...charged us...but they looked it up and found that there was a recall on it. They told us to save money -- go back to the dealer. That saved us $1000+ Those are just two of the many amazing experiences with them. They will always be our go to auto repair place.

Excellent people and service. I actually only needed one tire and a new wheel, and they ended up helping me above and beyond my expectation. They provided me with a used wheel which looked new at less than half the cost of a new one, and then a mounted and balanced tire for free since I bought the wheel. Great service!

Good shop.....reasonably priced. Always does a good job on my vehicles. I have 2 trucks with over 200K miles on them and Plano Tire is helping me keep them going strong.

Stay away unless you have all day to sit while they put other vehicles in front of yours to be worked on. Came in for an alignment and a balance something that shouldve taken 2 hours tops. I have been here since 7:30 am... If is now 2:00 pm. Place is a joke.

VERY HONEST and TRUSTWORTHY. I was travelling from Austin TX to St Louis, MO with my wife and kids when I saw a nail sticking out of one of my tires. By coincidence, I was approaching Plano and gave them a call (at 745 AM). Obviously, I did not have an appointment. Shane answered the phone and said, No Problem. Well take care of you. My family and I walked to McDonalds behind the store for breakfast and by the time we returned, they were done with my car. Shane met us and said, The nail entered the tire at an angle and didnt cause any damage. We pulled the nail out and did not have to plug the tire. He handed me the keys and said, No charge. Have a safe trip!

I’ve been here a couple of times. They really are a group that is friendly and focuses on getting the job done right. I’ve always had really quality work done and this is the first place I think about coming.

Update 6/19/18 - I spoke with the owner. He said they do in fact have the equipment to properly align a Sprinter and doesnt know why his empolyee would have said they do not.. Because of the issues he refunded the cost of the alignment and I promised to edit my review which I am doing now that the credit card transaction has completed. I am revising my rating from 1 star to 3.They may be good at a lot of things, but not alignment of a Mercedes Benz Sprinter. I wish I would have read the negative review about their abilities to align before I wasted $179. When I told them it is as bad after as before, they gave me a lot of attitude, aligned it again, and told me the new tires are going to wear quickly. The tech also said they dont really have the equipment to do the job the way the dealer does and he wishes they wouldnt keep taking these jobs. After driving several miles, the vehicle handles worse than ever.

Old-school auto shop run by the same family for decades (they do a lot more than just tires). The kind of place you send your kids or your wife and dont worry theyll be taken advantage of or up-sold needless work or parts.

$279 for an alignment on my lifted truck two weeks ago... I bring back today now they tell me they cant even get me in or fit me in today ...this was my 5th alignment with these guys and my truck is barely drivable. Thanks guys

Had a valve stem extension installed on my motor home and they charged me $60. The worst part was the extension didnt fit correctly.For many years I was a customer, but now the service is poor and the quality of workmanship stinks. Its time to find someone else.

Avoid like Ebola! Nice try to rip me off. Took in a six month old Nissan. Knew we probably bent tie rod end. Plano Tire said it was not available, we had to replace the entire rack and pinion. I said what, that is nuts? A tie rod end is not available, are you kidding me. So I called Courtesy Nissan myself- they are about a mile from Plano Tire. Their parts guy says, yes its available and takes a day to get it in. Retail is $92. I say thanks and then I call Plano Tire back, explain what I found. They say no way, we just spoke to them, who did you talk to. I explain I didnt write a name down but you can get it from them. Sooo, they do and the price to me was $160 for the part Nissan quoted at $92. I understand they have to mark it up but I would expect they get a discount over retail. Whatever. The big problem was they were HUGE jerks when I caught them trying to upgrade me to a full rack and pinion replacement. Im sure that would have been $1500 to $2000. And their attitude was really offensive. Well, the money is more important, but they were seriously rude after they got busted! I never like to pay the dealer hourly rate to do work somebody else can do but I would before I take anything back there!

Do not go here! I was a customer here for several years until my last experience with these guys. They were rude, over priced, and did not want my business. They knew that I could not drive my car anywhere else due to the tire issue so they over charged me. I waited 4 days for the car and when I called they were rude. I asked when it would be done and was told maybe tomorrow and later received a call saying it was done 30 minutes before they closed. Worst experience I have ever had with any auto service store and I will never return.

Theyve done alignments for me in the past but recently I had not thought about them as a stop for my Cadillac CTS-V. Their alignment technician, Matt, took exceptional care of my alignment requirements. I wanted more camber on all 4 corners than the previous alignment shop set, and I wanted to be there for the whole process. Matt very patiently worked on setting up the rear of the car to perfection first before moving to the front. The rear didnt give many issues and was fairly straightforward in obtaining my preferred settings. The front took a bit longer as the V is unlike some other cars Ive had aligned before and requires a bit of free hand action to dial the caster in. In the end I was very pleased with the experience and excitement from their technicians. They have a few young ambitious techs there that will probably end up at some of the higher end performance shops in Dallas when theyre ready. They were VERY excited about the modified CTS-V being there, and showed me pictures of many restomods from a local Dallas shop that come for alignments. A young man named Chris helped check me out and he ensured that the bill was fair for the time they took on the job. I highly recommend taking your performance rides to Matt and Chris at Plano Tire to get OEM or your preferred alignment settings dialed in. A couple of them asked to video the V on the drive out and so I gave them a 3 gear burn roll on the way down the frontage road. Great people and great service.
