I have used Plano Automotive multiple times. Today I took my vehicle for diagnostics for the Anti-Lock Brakes dash light, a tire sensor and an oil change. Minutes after beginning work Ali showed me where a wire was cut on the ABS sensor from some road debris. Within a half hour all three issues were repaired for a very reasonable charge. I highly recommend Plano Automotive.

It is not by chance the word honest comes up the most when you search the reviews of this shop!I had my car in for an electrical problem diagnosis. It turned out that the defective part has to be replaced and programmed by the BMW dealer. Although the shop spent time and resources to diagnose, they waived any fees and provided the service for free. l am very impressed by their honesty and understanding. I will take all my future car repairs to this shop.

I have been dealing with a squeaky serpentine belt for over 2 years. Screeches for the whole neighborhood to hear when I’m leaving my place. It was embarrassing, and I didn’t get it fixed because I knew it would be expensive. The issue was a broken Lug Bolt near the alternator that prevented me from tightening the belt properly.I came in and ALI immediately walked and talked to me as we approached my car and popped the hood. He began troubleshooting the issue and told me right away he can fix it. His price was 1/2 what I was quoted previously at multiple locations. I will be taking my cars here for standard maintenance moving forward. I need an alignment ALI, I’m coming back soon.Hard to find honest mechanics and ALI is great. Thanks sir!

I had the pleasure of meeting Ali at his shop when I took my Mercedes S Class 550 in because I was having some mechanical issues. He test drove my car, and without any hesitation, he self diagnosed the issue. He told me that my right air shock was deploying, and quoted me $1,500 for the part alone. He suggested that I call the Mercedes dealership to get the part number, and then they quoted me $1,500 for the part and $3,000 for labor. When I called him back, he told me not to worry about it Brother, Im going to take care of you! Then told me it would be much cheaper if I purchased the part on line, in which I took his advice. I purchased the part for $130 and he allowed me to keep my car there for 5 days while waiting for it to come in, and then he installed it for $200. He saved me over $4,000!! This is a true blessing for me and my family! I want to thank Ali for being so honest and professional! 🙏🏼You have earned a customer for life! My God bless you and youre family! Absolut best experience we ever had. Those guys analyzed and fixed the issue in 45 min for a fraction of what other garages had estimated just to look at it. I didnt have to drop my car of for a whole day appointment just to get informed at pick up that they didnt get to it or unfortunately received the wrong part. I got to wait next door in a nice and clean climatised waiting area with tv and water. The owner kept us up to date with what they were trying and was understanding for our need to get our car fixed immediately. Outstanding service, we will return and even though they are not exactly close by, we gladly make the trip up there again. Thank you!

I got my BMW repaired at this place a couple of months ago, when Mr. Hashim took over this business. (So the old negative reviews are not fair for this new owner) I am still and so grateful of his service that I decided to leave the review to let other people know.He gave me A plus diagnostics on the matter and saved me at least several hundred dollars for repairing engine oil leakage and other issues. He cared genuinely and professionally with an exceptional efficiency.I used to go to other body shops and got my BMW repaired several times. And any other local body shops didn’t beat the cost and the level of services Mr. Hashim provided.

Today i met Ali. I replaced the throttle body on my Tahoe PPV. I could NOT get this thing to run right. I was wasting my time driving and saw him in his shop. I highly recommend this little repair shop. New ownership and it shows. From the outside, you might not think much about the shop...but I needed an inspection and the place was close. Ali really went above and beyond for me today. I went in for a simple state inspection and he saw I had a pretty sizable paint scratch on my front bumper (paint from my garage door), and he told me he could take care of that today for me. He cleaned it up and it almost looks new...he did not even charge me. It did not take him long, but it was the extra level of service that you do not really get these days. He will earn my next oil change business...and probably the next repair that comes my way. Keep up the great service Ali!

I could go on an on about this place and the WAAAAAAY ABOVE AND BEYOND service that I received here! Drove by and stop here just to do some pricing for a replaced alternator. Never even knew this place existed before makes a sudden stop just to see what that would be talking about. I had ZERO expectation that they would be able to help, but tried anyway. Talked to Ali and he worked up and price and also agreed to not charge for the .6 hours of labor for the job that would be 3.6 hours. Since this was the first place that I went to, I took his information and went to several other places to price what they would charge for the work, as I needed the work to be done the following week. No other place that I went to was even close to being competitive with the price that Ali gave me.The next week, I drop the car off before business hours and went to work. I left a message with the mechanic that was there who had Ali call me once he got in. Ali called in I discussed our conversation from the previous week, which he remembered and he stated that the price would be what he quoted me and he would get started on the car. I dropped in at lunch to see how things were going and to talk to Ali personally. He assured me that everything was going fine and was close to being done, but my battery was completely dead. I told him I would be back after work to pick up the vehicle well before they close at 6:30 p.m. after work I went to pick up the vehicle and Ali stated that I could take my battery back to where I got it from in order to have it replaced under warranty, or I could buy a new battery from him that would be warrantied. I chose to take the very back to where I got it from since I just got the battery the week before. Well, Walmart gave me the run-around on returning the battery and had to test the battery for almost 2 hours before they could recharge the battery fully or replace it. I let Ali know what was going on and he told me that he would wait for me to bring the battery back to put it in, even after close.It is 7:30pm before I give the battery from Walmart, and Ali shop has been closed for an hour. However, as he said. Ali stayed at the shop until I got back. I got back to the shop around 7:45 p.m., how are you put the battery back in the car, testy battery charge and alternator thoroughly to make sure everything was correct and good, and then Ali personally followed me to the rental car spot that I needed to return the rental I was using, and gave me a ride back to the shop to get my car. From the initial contact with Ali to the moment he brought me back to the shop to get my car and make sure that everything was safe, the experience was beyond exceptional!!!!! I am not one to typically right reviews, but this experience deserved a review and out of 10 Stars I would give this experience a 100!!!!! I cannot see me using any other mechanic other than Ali and Plano Automotive after such an amazing experience!!!!!!!!

Worst automotive decision I have made in my entire life. Was quoted over phone around $575 for work. Came to pick it up and bill was almost $900. Looked at invoice and they had parts listed as labor (!) among other things, which by the way is considered FRAUD by the IRS. I had to pay as I needed my vehicle. Talked with the owner on the phone and he said he had to stand by his service manager, not me as the customer. I am in the process of filing a complaint with the BBB and the Federal Trade Commission.
